Childers Limousine Service

d to make me laugh so I wouldn't ruin my makeup. She gave great wedding advice, service was outstanding, the limo is so cute inside. Childers helped make our day special.

d they were adding a trolley to their fleet. They never once mentioned that there was a possibility that it would not be ready. Online it said it would be ready in may of 2020. We paid for the trolley in full and moved on. They then contacted us 11 days before our wedding day (now past the point we could ask for a FULL refund per their contract) to let us know the trolley would not be ready and they would provide a bus instead. We assumed they meant a party bus for our 18 person wedding party. The week of my wedding we contacted them to discuss the bus and they alerted us that they could either provide us with two limos (that would not fit all 18 people) or a shuttle bus that only had an AM/FM RADIO. They offered to refund half of the money IF we chose not to use what they offered us. If they had told us when we were booking them that they couldn’t guarantee us that the trolley would be ready we would have booked with another company that did have a trolley available for our date. The trolley Childers had described was more of the style and seating we were looking for so we chose them. They waited until 11 days before our wedding (when I’m sure they knew way earlier that It wasn’t going to be ready). Had they called to tell us this sooner we maybe could have found a trolley from another company or at the very least they could have provided us with an equivalent to what we had asked for or a full refund We ended up having to find another company entirely for our wedding party the week of the wedding. We have only been reimbursed half of what we paid despite us not using any of their sad excuse for a replacement that day. We didn’t get a trolley and if they had just been honest with us we would have booked with another company. I will never use this company and I will continue to tell every engaged soon to be bride I know to not use this company. It was hard enough having a wedding in the middle of Covid, but this was something that could have definitely been handled differently. We should have received a full refund as they did not provide what we had requested. Very very poor service.

ivers were very friendly and all on time. Party bus is really cool and can fit a lot of people - you do have to bring your own USB cord to play music (luckily I had called ahead of time and asked about it or else I wouldn't have known)

never received one phone call from him telling us he was there. He then continued to complain about how he was waiting for us while taking us to our photo locations. Didn't open the doors for us and we were a bridal party with big dresses and heels. Then once we got to our last location he refused to drive us to the next location without $80 CASH which thank god one of the bridal party had on hand. I would never recommend this company.

hey sent was not experienced, she claimed she usually drives a school bus around but it was clearly her first day on the job at Childers. She did not have the location list I had sent prior to the day so I was constantly having to direct her to the next stop and finding out where she could park, which was extremely irritating as I had hoped to just sit back and relax a bit after my ceremony. Next, the A/C was only working in the front of the bus. We had 18 people, and the temperatures were in the mid 80s. Finally, and most grievous of all, the stereo system was not functional...for a party bus...for a wedding. How? Not only that but the driver couldn't even turn the radio on for us. Not good. Probably good I waited until after my honeymoon to write this, I'm sure it would have been much more colorful the day after. So unfortunately I would not recommend Childers unless they can make some guarantees to you regarding the above issues.

d to refund us for the extra time we didn't receive. Extremely disappointed. Driver wasn't very friendly and the first thing he said when he dropped us off 40 minutes early was "who's giving me my tip?" My mom gave him a $60 tip even after we didn't get the services we paid for. STAY AWAY

party. They were on time and dealt with lots of back and forth with us on timing for the day. We had a lot of out of town guests so having them there made things easier for them to get from place to place.

, and he did everything he could to make sure I stayed dry and got where I needed to go. He was very sweet, and made me feel very special and taken care of. They provide cups and ice, and you're allowed to bring snacks, which I heard some other companies don't let you do. They seemed a little expensive at first, but after shopping around a bit, they're on par with other local companies, and provided great service.

ne of the limo buses because I had a huge wedding party that I wanted to transport. I got the silver bus and when I got in it I was surprised at the poor condition that the vehicle was in. There were visible holes all over the seats and in the ceiling. They had provided us with ice but it looked like the ice was strewn around everywhere like they had just threw it wherever and it was melting all over the floor. The lights and effects did not even work in the vehicle!! They did not tell me that I needed to provide a cable to connect my phone to the sound system so I was not able to play music from my phone. The system was so confusing that I could not even get the radio to work half the time so a good portion of the ride was in complete silence. The bus driver was an older woman and she was very mean and rude. Several of my bridal party members commented to me how rude she was to them. She started yelling at us for her tip before we had even got off the bus!! Very rude and NOT professional!!! I have a lot of friends who are just recently getting engaged and I will definitely NOT be recommending this service to anyone! I should have gotten much better service for how much money I had to pay to rent the vehicle.

28. It seated probably 22-24 tops, so my husband's parents had to drive. It wasn't the end of the world. The bus was clean and sexy and made my bridal party really happy. The driver was flexible and nice and did what we asked. We didn't have any problems beyond the size. The prices here were the best I could find. If you aren't carting around as many as me, this is probably the place to go!

ashion, he called me every name in the book, used abhorrent language that even sailors would be embarrassed by, threatened me physically and then hung up on me before I could even respond. I have heard this same story lately from others in the area and so I wonder if there is something more here. Could they be about to close? If so, I would not risk either booking them or putting any type of a deposit down. You will probably end up with only problems and quite possibly being threatened by management/ownership. Caveat Emptor!!

, timely manor. This company was easy to work with and very reasonable. We reserved their pink Cadillac Escalade. I figured since this would probably be the only time most of us would ever be in a limo we should go big. We had so much fun!

rk but other than that it was great!!

asy to work with. Would use them again!

our trip from the reception to the hotel we had a van pick us up and had no issues there either.

e we paid for had broken down and they were going to send a party bus in its place. Childers never ended up sending a limo to the church. All 14 people in our bridal party plus the bride and groom were stranded at the church after the ceremony. We called Childers to see where the party bus was, and they said it was rented for a birthday party at the same time and there was nothing they could do for us. the only thing they offered was a 50% refund. A 50% refund for a service we didnt get to use?! crazy! I do not recommend to anyone!!

et that vehicle. They did offer to refund us a portion of our money, provide us with a 20 person bus ( not a party bus), pick us up from our reception at no charge, AND pick us up at 3 in the morning a couple days later and drive us an hour away to the airport. So yes, I didnt get the limo I was hoping for; however they more then made up for it.

ing. They felt awful! They did everything in their power to find another limo similiar to what we originally requested, however since there was such short notice, nothing was available besides a bus, which ended up working out better in the long run. There was a lot more room and some of our attendants were able to bring their significant others onto the bus. Childers even made other accommondations for us, due to the inconvience. They are truely great people to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

o take some detours, but the driver took everything in stride. The car was AWESOME and I am so glad that I decided to add transportation to our budget. Childers was the most affordable, by far, and did a fantastic job. TWO BIG THUMBS UP!

appointing. Quiet, which is fine, except when we realized we would need some additional time. We only made it to one photo site, and wanted to continue to the second site before heading to the reception. The problem was we needed to pay for an additional hour with the limo, which we had no problem doing, except, as the bride and groom, we had no money on us. Luckily, my mother-in-law was able to cut a check...except they won't take a check: cash or the credit card it was originally ran on. SO, we had the driver contact the office to run on my dad's credit card. He wouldn't leave until it had gone through. I know the company wants to make sure they get paid but, they had the card ON FILE! What was he worried about? I also found out he complained to my bridesmaids that he hadn't received his tip yet. First of all, that's incredibly tacky. I was really embarrassed. Secondly, the tip was marked "included" on our contract, so he wasn't supposed to get one! Oh, and my bridesmaids were so uncomfortable with his comment, they gave him money, I'm sorry, but even if the tip wasn't included in what we paid in advance, they give a tip SUGGESTION. The driver should still be required to EARN it. In the grand scheme of things, they were on time, clean, and the money/tip incident didn't ruin anything. However, I will not be soliciting Childers any time in the future.

mo smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. Not enough to be offensive, but you could tell it was there. Over all though, pretty good.
