concerns I had throughout the process. Both Audrey and Natasha are so nice and chatting with them is always a blast! On the actual wedding day (which oops was marathon day), Audrey was a champion. Natasha was able to get in and do my mom and two bridesmaid’s hair and makeup, which turned out absolutely stunning. Audrey wasn’t so lucky, but she HUSTLED and got to our hotel ON A DIVVY BIKE like some kind of super hero. Even after that the chaos, she did an incredible job on my hair and makeup and I felt so beautiful! Chicago Makeup & Hair Professionals absolutely rocks and I would hire them all over again!

e and her assistant did a good job on our big day. My bridesmaids were also very happy with their hair services. They performed the service efficiently, with great attention to detail, and our hairstyles lasted perfectly. While this does not discredit any of their professional qualities in wedding hair and makeup, I would encourage the team to improve communication with clients. 1) First, 5 days before my wedding, Audrey realized they misunderstood what services I requested and the day-of timeline, because the content of my email 2 months ago was misread. She ended up altering the contract to add an assistant to fit my timeline, and I was asked to make a balance payment bigger than anticipated in the original agreement. Audrey corrected the mistake in good faith, and even offered us complementary makeup touch ups (which she performed to everyone’s satisfaction). But recognize that such miscommunications so close to the wedding is stressful and should have been avoided. 2) Second, in the same communication 5 days before the wedding, I was told twice in the text I “missed a payment” for the balance due one month before the wedding date. Truth was that on the balance payment date, I sent an email to inquire if they could request the balance through my Zelle, they said yes they would, and even though I never received a Zelle request, I got no further follow up on how to make the payment, which was confusing to me. Do avoid accusing your clients of missing payments if they reached out about it in good faith and your team was not on top of communicating the process. 3) The hairstylists arrived 40 minutes and 60+ minutes late respectively to the scheduled start time. I recognize that Audrey built in cushion time to account for rainy day traffic, but having my hair finished one hour later than expected did eat into the makeup and photography time, which was stressful.

he best services to ensure “you feel the best you” on your wedding day. She is an artist by trait - so she truly care in doing a beautiful job! I felt she truly heard me and helped me find what kind of natural, glowy look that fits me best, and she did an excellent job on my fine hair as well. In terms of professionalism, she’s very responsive, communicative, and went above and beyond to secure a 3rd makeup artist lady to accommodate my last minute OOT family member on her own cost, to ensure we’re on a good timeline and not rushed. Definitely recommend Audrey and her team for a wonderful and reliable wedding make up and hair team!

y much. They were able to book a trail during a really specific time period as I was traveling back to Chicagoland area from my home state and Natasha NAILED my vision. When it came to the actual wedding, my girls said they have never felt more beautiful. She did exactly what everybody wanted and some of them even let her freestyle and she was perfection. I had originally wanted a matte eye look and I am so glad she was able to talk me out of that because the simmers were SO subtle and the perfect little something something. She addressed me skin concerns and made me look so smooth. My hair. Drop dead gorgeous. It lasted from 10 AM to midnight in the humid MI weather with winds!!! I wore those curls for 3 more days!!! The makeup lasted ALL night!!! I could not recommend them enough. Audrey and Natasha were so professional, organized, clean, and able to go with the flow. I would book them for any other event that I needed hair and makeup done for again in a heart beat without hesitation. Do yourself a favor and BOOK.

some of the inspiration photos I had into something that would work perfectly for me. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup, and the makeup look she did was PERFECT. Super subtle but glam. It also held up the whole day despite rain, tears, and sweat. Audrey - thank you for making me feel like a model on my big day!

drey was responsive to all communication before and leading up to the wedding day festivities. Audrey recommended the ladies in group select their personal style for hair and makeup prior to the event in order to have the best look. Natasha was our stylist, from the moment she arrived and set up her equipment I knew we were in good hands. All three of us had a flawless look , in fact our makeup lasted all day. Personally, my hair looked amazing in a very elegant and classic "updo" look. The wedding was at the Field Museum in Chicago, a beautiful venue for a wedding event and Natasha made each of us feel so special!

They also made getting ready more fun and less stressful. Everybody was ready on time and looked lovely! I showed Audrey some “inspiration” of what I wanted my hair to look like before we met, and during the trial, she walked me through exactly what she was going to do to achieve the look I wanted. She was receptive to feedback and we were able to work together to achieve the EXACT hair I wanted. She even gave me some tips on how to “prep” my hair the morning of the wedding to achieve the level of volume I desired. My hair turned out flawless on my wedding day - and that’s not an exaggeration. It was voluminous, shiny, with just the perfect amount of curl. And it stayed put throughout the entire day and evening! I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Audrey. She was pleasant, professional, and above all, exceptionally talented. The next time I need my hair done for a special event, Audrey will be the first person I call. Thank you again!

The only reasons I’m not giving 5 stars are: a) the first stab Audrey took at my hair was not really what we agreed upon at my trial, but thankfully she was able to easily fix it after I pointed it out; and b) she was about 20 minutes late which put us behind on our photography schedule a bit. But at the end of the day, what mattered is that we all looked and felt beautiful and that’s what she and her team delivered. (I also really appreciated them doing full-face make-up for us during COVID.)
