We couldn't have been happier with Cherrywood Strings Ensemble! They provided instrumental music for our ceremony, including the prelude, processional, recessional, and music as guests exited, as well as piano music for our cocktail hour. The music was absolutely beautiful and added so much elegance and class to our wedding day. I received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything sounded! One of the things that mattered most to me was finding musicians who could bring my vision to life. I wanted a mix of modern songs arranged instrumentally and that classic Old Hollywood feel, and they executed it perfectly! The music created exactly the atmosphere I had envisioned and made the entire day feel even more special. From the ceremony to cocktail hour, everything sounded so elegant and timeless. Brian was also wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. He was professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. He made sure we had the services we wanted and needed while working within our budget, which I really appreciated during wedding planning. He made the process straightforward and stress-free. If you're looking for beautiful live instrumental music that will elevate your wedding and create a truly elegant atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Cherrywood Strings Ensemble! We offer a variety of instrumental ensembles and carry a large repertoire for your selection. We offer string quartets, string trios, string duets, string solos with Brass Ensembles, Woodwind Ensembles, and Piano, Organ, Voice, Guitar, Harp solos and percussion. Our repertoire contains over 1400 selections, including classical, broadway, pop, jazz, movie, rock, and more. If there is a selection we currently do not have, we will find it and arrange it for you. We have an arranger on staff. Our musicians are the top musicians in central and southeastern PA, performing with local symphonies and holding degrees from prestigious music schools. We also offer electric instruments and amplification. We have performed at over 1000 events to great success from Musikfest in Bethlehem to weddings to corporate events. As an annual weddingwire and Knot winner, we provide fantastic quality service prior to and during the event. We travel all over southeastern and central Pennsylvania, in addition to New Jersey and Delaware. Limited spots remaining for 2026. Now booking for 2027/2028. Mr. Mishler holds a M.M. degree from Northwestern University, where he studied with Paula Kosower, James Kjelland, Robert Hasty, Victor Yampolsky, and Jon Pegis, with an emphasis in Cello Performance and String Pedagogy. Mr. Mishler has also studied with reknown cellist Yumi Kendall, of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

They have many options for ensembles and packages. Now, after getting past the obvious questions: The musicians were so incredible, every one of my guests raved about how talented they were! We had a custom song request that required them to have specific music arranged for me that I was hoping to have play at a very specific time when I walked down the aisle and they followed through perfectly and seamlessly with this, it was completely magical and everything I was hoping for! I highly recommend them for any event, we were totally blown away!!

We had a variation of classical songs and some Lord of the Rings songs which are perfectly romantic and cheery. The guest loved the live music and we got compliments from our family. Very disappointed in the level of customer service and communication leading up to the day. Communication was terrible. We tried to schedule an on-site meeting so that they could s...

ee the venue and know where they would be sitting, etc. They could not attend and they did zero research to understand the venue ahead of time. I tried to schedule a phone call a few weeks before our wedding day to go over details and get clarification on finalizing music. Although we scheduled the call, Brian did not answer and did not call me back. I had to email my questions, which received a quick response and not a ton of clarity. Additionally, you should provide your own shade. $1200 for a quartet, you should either print the music out or provide a covering for your iPads, that should not be my responsibility if you are accepting outdoor weddings. Finally, the one thing I emphasized (and Brian confirmed that he understood) was that the song that I walked down the aisle to was not to start until I was visibly standing at the end of the aisle with my Dad. By the time I got to the end of the aisle, the intro to the song was over and they were already well into it. Overall, not pleased with the level of service we received vs. the money that we paid.

I mentioned to you, unfortunately we were not able to attend the vendor meeting as we had another job at the time of the meeting. We did respond to answer all of your questions following the meeting. We would have been happy to further discuss if you had additional questions. Regarding the shade, as the contract states, due to the value of the instruments and the ipads not overheating, we do ask to be in the shade, which is standard for all performing ensembles with string instruments. Regarding the timing with you getting out of the horse drawn carriage, we felt we provided the timing you requested.

The speaker system that Brian provided for the officiant did not work so no one heard our ceremony unless they were sitting in the front two rows. We even had our ceremony for zoom and no one heard it. It was just disappointing. 3. We had to pause to wait for the quartet when the ceremony was over to walk down the aisle. It felt like an eternity just standing waiting and our guest just staring. I think they could have better transition. Pros: When the wedding was over and we were up the stairs for a brief period, they sounded really good.
