Taylor was everything we could have asked for in a wedding photographer and so much more! We booked Taylor on somewhat short notice after our original photographer canceled, and looking back, we couldn't be happier with how things worked out. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in getting to know us as a couple. She took the time to understand our personalities, our vision, and what mattered most to us. On our wedding day, Taylor traveled over an hour and a half, arrived early, and even checked in beforehand to ask if there was anything we might have forgotten that she could bring along. That small gesture alone speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. The moment she arrived, she jumped right into the chaos without missing a beat. She brought such a calm, welcoming presence and made everyone around her feel completely comfortable. So many of our guests commented on how personable, kind, and easygoing she was. But what truly blew us away was her ability to capture not only every moment we had hoped for, but also the countless little moments we never would have thought to ask for. The candid reactions, genuine emotions, and spontaneous interactions that made our wedding uniquely ours. She didn't just photograph our wedding; she captured the feeling of the entire day. And the photos? Absolutely beautiful! Somehow, she even managed to send us a stunning sneak peek within just two days of our wedding. We are beyond grateful that we found Taylor. What initially felt like a stressful last-minute change turned into one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Chasing Sunlight Photography was truly dazzling on our wedding day! Taylor was truly at the heart and soul of our amazing wedding experience and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was not only magical, but also was magically captured in every single photo! Prior to our wedding day, Taylor not only took beautiful engagement photos inspired by our theme of Pride and Prejudice at the park (featuring props like vintage books), but beyond this she was also incredibly communicative, collaborative, and supportive in the planning process! She was always eager and willing to discuss inspo ideas, itineraries, and shot lists, but more than this she also took the time and care to learn our story and what mattered most to us on our wedding day in order to capture those small, precious details as well! For example, she remembered me mentioning how much my grandmother meant to me and how sad I was that she couldn't attend my wedding, so Taylor went through great lengths to photograph my locket with my grandmother's photograph so she was a part of my wedding day too! She also listened to my fiance's ideas, even including walk-in photos of him and his groomsmen as they got ready, and made sure to fit it into our schedule! On our actual wedding day, we truly could not have made it through without Taylor. Not only was she capturing candids, posed photos of our bridal party and family, breathtaking indoor and outdoor photos throughout the day, and detailed shots of our decor and venue with such an incredible eye and expertise, but she was also there to help in any way she could from making sure I was taken care of, to coordinating with vendors and our bridal party to make sure things were on schedule, and being there every step of the way! To this day I still don't know how she did it all! After our wedding, we had not even made it back from our honeymoon before we received majority of our photos, which were not only impressive in their incredible quality but also in their immaculate quantity! This is just another testament to her dedication, skill, and care that she puts into her craft! Now, over one year later, my husband and I still look at Chasing Sunlight Photography's amazing photos throughout our photo album and reflect on just how much Taylor meant to us on our special day, and just how beautifully she captured each and every precious moment of our story!
