I am so happy we chose the Chartwell for our wedding reception! Working with Morgan during the planning process was great. She is very friendly, responsive, and helpful.

hour on the terrace was beautiful! It was shaded, had seating for guests, and a beautiful view! The ballroom was perfect. I love how it has windows to the terrace and golf course. It very comfortably seated our 165 guests and was not cramped at all. The dance floor is also very spacious. Morgan and the team did a great job setting everything up. It was beautiful and exactly how I imagined it!
I cannot say enough good things about the food! Guests raved how it was not only the best wedding food they ever had, but the best surf & turf in general! We did the steak & crab cake dinner which I would highly recommend. The appetizers were also delicious and guests commented how they were not your typical wedding appetizers. The lobster avocado wontons and crab and corn fritters were our favorites! I was a little nervous about the bar being by consumption, but it ended up working out in our favor. It ended up being cheaper than other places we looked at that had alcohol included at a set price.
Overall, we we’re very happy with the Chartwell!
Chartwell was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. Morgan was great to work with and made everything so easy. The ballroom is beautiful, and it's neutral enough to highlig...
ht any decor and colors that you add. We also loved having the patio with the string lighting for pictures. Our guests are still talking about the steak and crabcakes!
Chartwell was the perfect place for our wedding reception! Morgan was fantastic throughout the whole process and didn't judge me for asking a million silly questions. The food was ...
delicious and the staff was professional. The building was nice - bathrooms could use some updating but we spruced them up with flowers and tulle. My biggest problem was that we were told 3 weeks before our event that they were killing the beautiful green golf course to re-do it. So we had to find a plan B for pictures. I wish we had known further in advance. All in all, if I had to do it over, I would choose Chartwell again!
Since my grandparents are members, there was no venue fee for the reception. Food was delicious and affordable, bar tab was lower than expected, and all the staff were helpful and ...
friendly. I cannot recommend their wedding planner, Morgan, enough! She answered all our emails and was always available for a quick meeting. Thanks to her our day went off perfectly!!
We had our reception at Chartwell Golf & Country Club, and I can't say enough positive things about Chartwell. The event coordinator was Cati, and our wedding was her last event at...
Chartwell before she left for another job (outside of wedding events). The staff at Chartwell was extremely helpful, and we were able to reserve the St. Andrew's Room and the Billiard Room for me and my husband and our parties to get ready in the morning. The food was delicious, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful and great for photographs.
We chose to use Chartwell for our ceremony and reception vender after looking at a handful of other places in-person and many more online. Chartwell was an obvious choice for many ...
reasons: the food is amazing, the service is wonderful, the location is beautiful, there is pleanty of parking, they do not pile on additional fees and un-reasonable charges. The coordinator both throughout the planning and day-of was Yale Moyer and she was great. We met with her numerous times before the wedding day to go over details like food choices and such. Chartwell does not require a minimum number of guests for their ballroom as many venders do so we didn't have to stress out about meeting a certain number.
Chartwell was totally flexible with what dj, photographer and photobooth service I used for the wedding. I think that Chartwell was one of the best venders I chose for my wedding day! People commented on how good the food was- how fast the service was, and the gorgeous grounds of the course. As the bride, I was taken out on the golf course with my bridal party and new husband to take pictures - there are many hidden locations that are perfect for photography opportunities!!
The venue was gorgeous and the entire staff was super helpful

he first day we toured the rooms until the final dance, she was accessible and did everything to make the wedding perfect!
My parents, who were hosting the reception, truly felt like guests and everyone was able to enjoy the evening in its entirety.
The venue is beautiful, the decorations were perfect. The food was incredible and the staff was excellent!
Excellent wedding coordinator- very accomodating and professional. The wait-staff was exemplory and almost invisible. The food is to DIE for!! Absolutely beautiful wedding. THe on...
ly complaint I had was that they need to replace the air conditioning units as they were completely ineffective and it was unbearably hot. The band said that it's hot everytime they play there. You don't notice it when you go for visits, but events are hot.
The club itself was beautiful. The room looks out onto the 18th green. The food was very good and we had a lot of choices.;The only thing that turned me off through the whole proce...
ss was the Event Manager. She was very difficult to get ahold of and was terrible at returning calls.
Great size dance floor. We were able to give many food choices to our guest. If a guest needed a special diet the would do that. If a child did not like what they got they would ...
give them something else. The price was great.;The manager doesn't return calls at all but in the end she comes up with a day you will not forget.
I loved that all the staff was very friendly whatever i wanted i got. the place was very clean
