Chef Anand goes above and beyond for his clients. Truly the kindest man who has such a passion for delivering the most memorable experiences! He has incredible relationships around...
the world with vendors and brings the best people together to create an event you'll never forget!
At our reception, he personally made butter chicken and plated it for me (literally my death row meal) and even though I was so full from the rest of the delicious food, I ate the whole thing anyway. We had all sorts of amazing food stations at every event and our guests are still talking about it 6 months later.
Our wedding was in Italy and I actually ran into Chef Anand at the airport lounge as we were on the same flight. For no reason at all, he insisted on trading me his FIRST CLASS SEAT for my business class ticket. Who does that?????
Food and drinks were probably the only things I really cared about for our wedding and CGA delivered beyond my wildest dreams. Don't hesitate, just hire CGA you won't regret it.

ally appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into this process, and we were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the food during our wedding weekend. Not only was the taste impeccable, but the displays, plating, and service were exceptional! They consistently delivered only the highest-quality, consistent meals throughout the wedding. Months later, and my guests are STILL talking about how this is the best food they've ever had at an event! Thank you so much, Chef!
CGA Catering was absolutely outstanding! The food was exceptional — creative, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality. Their team brought fresh, out-of-the-box ideas that...
impressed every guest. Professional, organized, and completely worry-free — they made our event seamless and memorable. Highly recommend them for anyone who wants an elevated and stress-free catering experience!
The Food Was the Highlight of Our Wedding – Thank You CGA!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with CGA Catering for our wedding in Lake Como in July 2025, and to say they exc...
eeded expectations would be a massive understatement. From the very first bite to the last, every dish was a masterclass in flavor, freshness, and presentation.
As someone who is in the restaurant business myself, it was extremely important to me that the food at our wedding wasn’t just good — it had to be spectacular. And I truly couldn’t be more pleased with Chef Anand and his incredible team. Their attention to detail, passion, and flawless execution made the culinary experience unforgettable.
We curated an ambitious menu with six live food stations, and they delivered on every single one:
Thai curries – including a rich Chicken Massaman, plus bold and aromatic red and green curries.
An Indian tandoor station with perfectly grilled lamb chops, chicken chops, fish kebabs, paneer, and fresh naan made live.
A sushi station featuring fresh-caught tuna (literally caught the morning of the event) — I’ve seen sushi fall short at big events, but this was as good as any high-end Japanese restaurant. Clean, fresh, expertly prepared.
A Polish station that was truly special — this was only the second time Chef Anand had prepared Polish cuisine, and he absolutely nailed it. The potato and cheese pierogi and the mushroom-filled nalesniki (Polish crepes) were so authentic and delicious that my wife and her Polish family were completely in awe. It was a beautiful and personal touch.
A traditional Indian station with fragrant lamb biryani, bone-in chicken curry, and luxurious malai kofta.
And a pasta station serving vibrant pesto and spicy rigatoni with the perfect kick.
The variety, authenticity, and quality were unmatched. The presentation was stunning, the service seamless, and the food — unforgettable. Chef Anand is not only a culinary master, he’s someone who brings heart and soul into every dish he serves.
The food became the most talked-about element of our entire wedding — and at a destination like Lake Como, that says a lot.
If you're planning an event where food matters (and it always should), CGA is the team you want. We are forever grateful.
To do a review on Chef Anand is to try and describe the indescribable. How does one describe the feeling of the love your mom gave you when you eat his fresh hot breads and lentils...
(daal)? How does one describe the complex chemical reactions of the palate right before biting into his delicious lamb chops? How does one describe having your brain trying to figure out why something so simple as a mushroom dish he made is still so memorable a month later after eating it. I would rather take my medical exams again, as they would be easier than trying to put into words, Chefs cooking.
I will say, Chef Anand’s dedication to his clients is unsurpassed. I will say, his vision for how the food fits into the event is completely customized and curated for the event. I will say, his professionalism is unrivaled.
As I like to say, ‘Chef Anand doesn’t just cook the goat, HE IS THE GOAT!’

heir culinary magic, professionalism, and outstanding service at each event during the 3-day celebrations. Chef Gaurav is highly creative, dedicated, friendly, and thoroughly professional from beginning to end. He and his catering manager Abla created menus with such a variety, tastes, and attention to details that words cannot describe. Every item in the menus was masterfully crafted by Chef Gaurav, brilliantly presented, served hot & fresh, and absolutely delicious and unforgettable! They even did a sit down family-style lunch after the wedding ceremony with complete perfection, which few caterers even try to attempt for a wedding this size.
Chef Gaurav and Abla are very personable and fun to work with. They work hard to get to know you so that they can tailor the catering to your specific vision. We had a wonderful time at the food tasting with personal attention from Chef Gaurav, Abla, and his entire team. They made our decision so easy. We are privileged that Chef Gaurav chose to do our wedding during a very busy time of the year, with other clients competing for him during the same weekend, as he is one of the most sought-after caterer being the owner of three critically acclaimed New York city restaurants and having catered beautiful weddings in Italy, France, Mexico, Morocco, and all over the USA.
Weeks or months after the wedding is over, everyone still talks about the food at our son’s wedding and remembers Chef Gaurav as a humble and friendly person who is also a top-of-the-line skillful and creative chef, and professional in everything he does. Every vendor, photographer, videographer, decorator, and DJ does their job, but Chef Gaurav truly lived this wedding and delivered beyond our expectations, with so much affection and care and made us feel as if we are his family members. Our truly heartfelt gratitude, sincere appreciation, and thanks to Chef Gaurav and his CGA Catering team. They are the best!

dding day is perfection. Not only is the caliber of his cooking superb, his imagination, the creativity and individualization with which is dishes are created are unparalleled. Without question, Chef Anand invited my family and I in for multiple tastings of his food so that we could curate the perfect menu.
My partner, Eva, and I got married in Detroit, Michigan. Chef Anand and the CGA team brought their equipment (including tandoor ovens) and their team to Detroit and helped make our Sangeet at the Shinola Hotel (Birdy Room) the brightest party ever. Our guests had never experienced Indian food like this before, and there is a reason for that - the unique and brilliant way Chef Anand connected with our guests, blew their minds away with the presentation of our stations and dishes, and made our entire wedding party feel like family is the reason he is the best Chef in town. Beyond his preparation of Indian dishes, Chef Anand is a wizard at cooking fusion dishes, whether it is Mexican cuisine, Chinese cuisine, or Italian cuisine. If you want to wow your guests with beautiful food of the highest caliber, Chef Anand and the CGA team is the perfect caterer for you. Every single guest came up to us at the end of the night and said that this is the best Indian food they have ever tasted. Lucky for me, I have been eating at Chef's restaurants for 13 years now - but for our guests, this was a treat like no other.
More than the quality of services that Chef Anand provides, Chef Anand took care of Eva and I like we were his own family. Throughout the event, I got to taste all of the amazing food only because Chef Anand personally handed me each item his team prepared for me to taste. You cannot expect that with all vendors, but for Chef Anand, this is his baseline. Chef, you will forever be in my family, and I am so grateful for the incredible role your food played in the success of our wedding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

the years. Ever since we signed with CGA in 2018, our experience has been fantastic. From our meetings at Bhatti, Moti Mahal, and more recently, Baazi, we felt like celebrities. Chef’s kindness goes above and beyond what we saw from other caterers. A special thanks to Abla who is the most invaluable member of the CGA team. She was there every step of the way, making us feel confident about our menus and timings. We are still receiving messages about how amazing and unique the food was at our wedding. We cannot recommend CGA enough! - Sanil & Sneha
It is very difficult to find, as a matter of fact, impossible to find a combination of quality, talent, vision, and compassion but Chef Anand embodies all the above. CGA is a rare ...
entity that not only provides quality catering but also executes it with perfection. The biggest quality of Chef Anand and his team is to personalize the events as their own and deliver at that level. His service is unparalleled in this industry.
With many other catering companies, I have encountered the attitude of “oh this is just another wedding and we have to do our run of the mill stuff” but Chef Anand goes out of this way to provide his own unique vision to every event. He creates a menu to perfectly match your theme and works with the decor/creative team to make the event feel like an enchanting story. His attention to detail right up to the serving spoons and napkins is impeccable.
My recommendations for CGA are of the highest regard. All my guests may not remember anything else from the wedding, but definitely remember the food and that’s the kind of impact CGA had on our wedding!
Chef Gaurav and Abla are simply the best at what they do! Their food is next level - your wedding will be the talk of the century with their catering! Months later our friends are ...
still talking about the food at our wedding, describing it as the best food they've ever had (wedding or not). My personal favorite was the burrata butter chicken, and for others it was the lamb galouti - both melt in your mouth. Chef's creativity in designing unique Indian dishes, that retain the authenticity of the traditional Indian food that everyone loves but with a bit of flair, is second to none. The service and presentation were phenomenal and matched the deliciousness of the food. Finally it was just an absolute pleasure working with both of them throughout the planning process, as we had multiple tastings and each tasting was a night of fun on its own!
If you're looking for an Indian wedding caterer, there is simply no better option. CGA provides innovative, restaurant-quality food that is simply unmatched in the industry. Nothin...
g else comes close. Our guests are still raving about just how good the food was at our wedding, especially all of the Indian street food that we served at our sangeet. Highly recommend this vendor!

r tastes and the types of food we wanted to taste throughout our wedding. Every guest raved about the food, and I'm still hearing about how good the food was a month later! He not only stepped in when we needed him he became a very good friend during this process. He made our families feel a sense of comfort and gave them the authenticity that they wanted in the menus for all of our events. Chef and his team exude professionalism, kindness, compassion, and uniqueness in every single they execute and do. His team went above and beyond for us, and I'd recommend their team 1000% for any of your event needs.

From a logistics perspective, Chef Anand and his team are true pros -- our wedding was in Cabo, and they were able to work with our wedding planner to make sure the catering rentals were in place and that there was a smooth process to deliver a seamless experience at our private villa (the venue for the wedding). I am sure there was so much prep that happened behind the scenes, but I don't know most of what went into it (which is a sign of true professionalism and made my life a lot less stressful).
What I appreciate most about Chef Anand is his bar for excellence and making sure he delivers something special for his clients. His team went above and beyond for us, and I'd recommend their team 1000%.

lace at Oheka Castle. He is a person with vision and talent and created a custom menu better than anything we could have imagined. He really understood what we were looking for, exposed us to new unique flavor combinations and partnered with us to create a menu that our friends and family still compliment six months later! Chef Anand has a magic touch with the food he is creating and it makes an impression on everyone who tries it. Equally as impressive as his food, is his easy-going demeanor, flexibility and upbeat attitude. I cannot stress this enough, doing the tastings and working with him on the menu was one of the highlights of wedding planning. We only have the best things to say about Abla, our manager. She is genuinely patient, kind and organized. She was reachable throughout the whole process and navigated through all of the venue requirements and my questions. Picking Chef Anand and his team is the best choice anyone can make for their wedding. You not only get out of this world food, but genuinely great people who make wedding planning fun!
Chef Anand is the most hospitable, passionate and friendly caterer. He travelled alongside his team to our Indian-Persian multi-day wedding festivities in Mexico. He delivered the ...
most incredible fusion culinary experience for our guests. His assistant, Abla, who works alongside Chef at their NYC based restaurant, Bhatti, is the sweetest, friendliest and most welcoming face of Chef Anand's team. Putting our culinary experience would not have been possible without her help behind the scenes. They are so easy to work with and Chef delivers exactly what is promised with creativity, uniqueness, and pride. Chef Anand's love for all types of cuisine, plating and the guests' response is transparent through his deliverance and we are so happy to have met such an incredible caterer. We are VERY excited to have him cater for us soon and are looking forward to many visits to his restaurants in NYC!

t he delivers- our guests are still raving about it 3 months later! I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my menu, and Chef Gaurav not only took on the challenge of my specific requests, but also a 220 person Indian - Italian wedding in a barn. Together, we were able to create multiple different menus which ranged from Southern comfort food, Italian (with live pizza and pasta stations!), upscale Indian, and an elegant 3 course plated reception menu. Chef Gaurav and his team went above and beyond by helping us figure out what we needed to bring into a raw venue (we’re talking not a single dish, stove, or running water available!!). Our manager, Abla, was also very helpful during the entire process. She was easily reachable, organized, and met each of my questions (and panics!) with sincere kindness and patience. Chef Gaurav’s food is not your typical Indian catering - his presentations are unique and the flavors are exceptional. This is next level Indian catering, you won't be disappointed!

ultiple times since, each time they are sure to compliment the food at our wedding. We hear things like the food experience he created is unlike anything our guests have experienced before, even at restaurants at home. Gaurav made things incredibly easy for us, treating us to some of the most fun and delicious tastings I have been to, going to our destination ahead of time to ensure he could find the quality ingredients he needed, ensuring everything ran beyond smoothly throughout the weekend, even adjusting the original plan when we ran into major obstacles to keep everyone happy. He showed true unfiltered passion for his art throughout the journey. He is also an honest man and constantly put our wedding and its success above all else.

They catered our wedding of ~500 guests and our guests were raving about the food all day from breakfast and lunch to cocktail hour appetizers and dinner/dessert.
Chef Anand is unsurpassed in his attention to detail , his food presentation skills and the unique & fresh ingredients he uses.
Chef Anand excelled at every type of cuisine and it was all vegetarian! I would highly recommend him to any couple who wants to wow their guests and wants to put an extra spin on the menu.

guests. While we had a mental note of going with one of the more well-known caterers in the industry, we were completely floored by Chef Gaurav when we met him. His passion for creating and presenting unique and tasteful dishes, while blending various international cuisines is simply amazing! Since this was a multi-cultural wedding, lots of palates and taste buds had to be satisfied, and he did not rest until he had created and perfected the right flavor , spice, consistency, and of course, the presentation. He brought a certain twist to some of the more traditional dishes, while on the other hand, creating some unique fusion foods. The multiple food tastings were an experience in itself! His attention to detail with the menu was also noteworthy. He came up with different menus and cuisines/stations for each of the three events he catered at some of the most coveted landmark venues of NYC. What is different about him is that he is at the same wavelength as the bride and groom and is very easy to talk to. He is like family! I would highly recommend Gaurav for any wedding event where you want to create a lasting impression on your guests in terms of elegance, grandness, uniqueness, and classiness.

Gaurav was extremely professional, and his food was AMAZING. My dad who is very hard to please, to this day continues to compliment Gaurav, and constantly wants to throw family parties at this restaurant.
Finding wedding vendors is such a stressful part of wedding planning, especially finding a caterer, but I have to say, having Gaurav be a part of our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.

ferences is amazing. Ours was a mixed culture wedding and we were astounded by how he was able to come forward with options that blended flavors from around the world, while also keeping the traditional elements of Indian food. We have never come across someone who is so personable but also so attentive to each and every dish that he presents before you. He takes pride in his food and also in making sure that your event is the best that it can be, and that shows given the amount of time he is willing to spend with you, and also given that he actually attends your event to make sure that everything is running smoothly and that all your guests are happy with their food. Not only were his dishes innovative, his presentation was a whole other level – whether it was the way the dishes were prepared and served, or how his stations were set up as a part of the décor of the event, he really did an amazing job making sure the food became one of the main elements that our guests are still raving about today! And to top it all, he even asked us to come back to his restaurant after our wedding to try all of the delicious food that was served at our event, given that we barely had a chance to eat anything on the day of. It was a pleasure working with Chef Gaurav, and we would highly recommend him to anyone!
Gaurav and his team are fantastic. The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic. He really spends time making your menu custom to you. I’ve never met anybody as meticulous as ...
him. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend him for any catering needs. I also highly recommend all of his restaurants - some of the best Food I have ever eaten!

Thank you Chef Anand & team Awadh for making our dream wedding come alive!
