About this vendor
Operating out of Clinton Township, MI, C’est La Vie Photographie is a creative photography studio. Tonya, the company's owner, loves capturing the otherwise transient moments from a wedding celebration and turning them into treasured heirlooms.
Tonya discovered her love of photography when she was 12, a passion that she shares with her grandfather. Now, with more than a decade and a half of experience in the industry, Tonya can be found capturing weddings, senior photos, family portraits, and more. When she isn't documenting the magical chaos of special events, Tonya enjoys spending time with her wife and their son, Oliver.
C’est La Vie Photographie offers engagement and wedding pacakges. The different bundles vary in hours of coverage and include an online gallery of images. Other services include a personalized wooden USB, additional hours, and a second photographer. Tonya can also add a keepsake album to any package, with multiple album sizes available.

I had the pleasure of working with Tonya for an engagement shoot, a boudoir session, and our wedding day. Tonya was very kind and timely with communication every step of the way, s...
ent me sneak peaks right away following each session (which was very appreciated), and is so unbelievably talented. I shopped around for months before choosing to hire her and I could not have been happier with my decision. I love her light, bright, and timeless style of photography. The photos she took turned out better than I ever could have imagined and she and her second shooter, Liz, were such troopers on the 90 degree sunny day for our wedding with making sure we got every single shot we wanted. Would highly recommend C’est la vie photographie!!
She’s amazing! I can’t recommend her enough. She so calm when I definitely wasn’t. She’s efficient especially went taking the family pictures. Every picture turned out perfect
I could not have asked for a better experience! The package we picked was priced fairly and the photos turned out amazing. During both the engagement session and the wedding, the t...
one was fun while still getting all the shots we wanted. Tonya definitely helped us feel and look less awkward but still like ourselves. Her assistance with our wedding day timeline was also vital and appreciated. On our wedding day, there were timing changes and someone ran late and Tonya still made sure we got everything on our shot list! She is very professional and made sure after the wedding we were kept updated as our photos were added to our online gallery. All our photos are beautiful and there is a great mix of candid and posed shots. I have gotten several compliments about our photos and already have some around our house. I used the built-in print store on the gallery website, and the prints were high quality and got to us quickly. Between the experience on the actual wedding day and the follow-up after, I could not recommend her more and I am glad we trusted her to capture such an important moment in our lives.
Tonya was a wonderful wedding photographer! I'm so happy I found her when searching online. The photos she takes are MAGICAL, I seriously love every single one. A lot of my friends...
and family has made comments to me that some of our wedding photos should be in a bridal magazine, and I totally agree! She was very easy to work with and laid-back, and she didn't make my husband and I feel awkward at all in front of the camera (despite us not really being "picture people," haha). She is also very prompt with delivery; she sent us our engagement pictures within a week or two of our shoot, and she sent the sneak peak of our wedding pictures within 2 days of the wedding! I have zero complaints and would recommend Tonya to anybody searching for a wedding photographer without hesitation!
Tonya is absolutely lovely to work with. She’s very professional and takes amazing pictures. She’s friendly, kind, and passionate about her work. Very affordable and even saved our...
day during a mixup regarding transportation for our wedding, and took the bride to the hall for the reception. I’d highly recommend her to anyone in the metro Detroit area.
Tonya and Jackie were an absolute blast to work with and their personalities meshed effortlessly into the wedding party so it truly felt like they had been a part of our friend gro...
up for ages, and having a mutual love of Disney was an absolute plus as well! They did a fantastic job keeping us on schedule, made a point to get every requested shot I sent over, and were expert groomsmen corrallers when they kept wandering off mid pictures or were confused by photo instructions 😂 I can't express how grateful I am for having them both be a part of our big day and for the extra effort they had to put forward in order to be there, especially since they had to literally escape a hurricane days before the wedding which none of us planned for!
Communication was always prompt and I never felt like a bother when asking completely random questions which was extremely appreciated! The sneak peeks came through much quicker than I anticipated and I can honestly say I've never been photographed that well in my life (other than our earlier engagement session with Tonya!). I've gotten so many compliments on the photos I do have and am so excited to see the rest of the album when they are ready 😊 I would pick CLV Photographie 1,000 times over forany future photography and can't recommend their services enough!
Tonya is so nice and professional. It was like we hired a friend to take care of our wedding and engagement photos, she was so easy to work with and helped with everything. From th...
e details, to the directions, everything was awesome. The pictures she has sent over so far are amazing! I didn’t know I could look that great in a picture. If you are looking for an amazing photographer, you can rest your mind knowing she will capture the the right moments.
She was very helpful and polite we got a reasonable priced package that included our engagement photos as well as wedding. We even had to postpone because of covid/ baby and she wo...
rked with me every step of the way trying to pin down a new date. Also all of our photos turned out absolutely amazing.
Tonya was incredible. I got engaged December 2019 and was looking to book a photographer pretty early on. Then the pandemic began and my plans changed, slowly at first, then drasti...
cally. Tonya was caring and understanding of my situation even before i was an official customer. She kept my date closed in her books until i was finally able to pay in full. She's a very sweet person and so easy to get along with. She's versatile in her editing style and is great if you are looking for something "light and airy" or something a little more "moody". Booking Tonya was hands down the best decision i made with my wedding (second only to picking the man i married 💕).
