Jodi & team was incredible from the start. Jodi’s personality is always upbeat, excited & professional. Even in times of stress she always has a good attitude & is able to steer co...
uples in a good direction to focus on the positive. Her planning expertise was timely and efficient & she was always one call or text away (even on weekends). She went above and beyond with communication, planning, vendor recommendations, attention to detail & day of. When I didn’t want to bother my family to bustle my dress, she was in the room, just us, doing it for me herself. She controlled all that could be controlled & helped me feel better about the things I could not control. I would recommend her over & over to anyone. 11/10. Thank you!!!!!
Please do yourself a favor and hire Jodi and her team at whatever level is most appropriate for your event. Jodi is the utmost professional and class act, managed every detail for ...
us, and made the entire wedding planning process simple and straightforward. No decision fatigue here! The best part about Jodi is that she wants you to be taken care of, in whatever that looks like for the specific couple at hand. We’re so proud to have worked with her, and can’t wait to find a reason to work with her again!! 10/10!!!
Jodi and her team are all class and 100000% there for their client’s priorities. Jodi and team become more like family than they do wedding planning team. They are fully invested i...
n making every detail happen perfectly. And the thing I loved most was all the things they just took care of without us ever having to worry about. Jodi and team pulled together our wedding on an extremely aggressive timeline and leaned heavy on their strong relationships in the industry to pull in the best vendors at the best negotiated prices. Things we never could have pulled off ourselves. Every detail was spot on. Jodi and team even figured out how to buy and transport 5 cakes from 4 hours away and get them to the wedding venue to be served perfectly. There is no question - if you are planning a wedding, the best thing you could do is hire Jodi and her team on the first day and let them handle every detail. Every one of our vendors expressed how organized and detail-oriented Jodi was. We wanted everyone to feel relaxed and enjoy the weekend. It is was way beyond what we envisioned. The best!!!
Not enough words to describe how much we loved Jodi and all the CES crew. No task too small, no enormous ask too big. Jodi’s always positive attitude, incredible diplomacy with ven...
dors and amazing creativity and experience made our daughter’s wedding journey truly magical and memorable.

e feel we have a unique perspective when it comes to evaluating wedding planners, because we had the unfortunate experience of needing to part ways with our original planners. The stark contrast in performance and accountability can be understated - Jodi and her team rocks!
We honestly don’t even know where to begin—you are a lifesaver.
Saying yes to us just five weeks before the wedding? That alone deserves a standing ovation. You jumped in with grace, got up to speed, and somehow made sense of our chaos like it was nothing. But your impact went far beyond showing up on short notice. You brought structure, clarity, and care to every step of the journey—transforming what could have been a scramble into something fun and grounded.
You are incredibly talented at what you do. From the big-picture logistics to the tiniest details, everything felt seamless. Our wedding was beautiful and full of love, and that is thanks in large part to you. We felt so taken care of—Alissa still talks about how you checked in to make sure she was eating and drinking throughout the day, which didn’t go unnoticed.
Mike and I actually joked that we started functioning better as a team once you came into the picture – you literally made our marriage better before it started - LOL. You helped us communicate, prioritize, and actually enjoy the process.
Your project management was masterful. Nearly every call came with a clear agenda: what we accomplished, what needed discussion, and what was next. That structure may sound simple, but it requires disciplne and organization, and established structure that provided clarity and forced alignment, and which ultimately helped us move forward with confidence.
You never let perfection slow us down—but you also never made us feel like we were sacrificing it either. And when you offered a different perspective, you did so with warmth and grace, always guiding us to better decisions with your experience and steady hand.
You were a rock for us—even when we hit a literal speed bump, or two! You commanded the room when it was necessary and made space for celebration to unfold around you.
We woke up the next morning (after celebrating until 4:30am—a good sign, right?) and looked at each other thinking: How do we move forward without Jodi as our full-time life planner?
We’re beyond grateful for your patience, your poise, and your heart.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We already miss you. Please stay in touch—and if you're ever passing through Tahoe, you better let us know.
With all our love and gratitude,
CES and our wedding coordinator Elaine are amazing! As an out-of-state couple, planning a wedding was tough but Elaine’s coordinating expertise made it easier. Elaine took every de...
tail we mentioned and brought it to life. We could not have imagined a more perfect day. Thank you Elaine and CES!!

ut what an amazing job they did! Because trust me they know we didn't do it!
Couldn't have been happier with Jodi & team! It's hard to find the words to describe how much of a special impact they made on my wedding day. They executed flawlessly day-of, kept...
all vendors on track and gave great advice and direction whenever we needed it! They made my life/wedding planning so easy!!! We truly could not have done it without them. We are so thankful!
Not only is Jodi a pro at event planning & execution, but most importantly, I can honestly say she is now lifelong friend.
We love you Jodi!!
I am so happy I found CES for my wedding, I could not have done it without them! Jodi and Jordan helped with all of our day-of needs, coordinating vendors, designing our entry tabl...
e, keeping us on schedule throughout the day. Due to the logistics of having a small, all outdoor wedding on Lake Almanor, I did not want my family spending their day "working" my wedding instead of enjoying it. Jordan took on all the various coordination and organization elements, allowing myself, my husband, and our family to relax and enjoy the day. Thank you so much CES team! :)
We hired Jodi and her team for day-of coordination, but I have to say I feel like we got so much more than that. Jodi was there for us from the moment we met to discuss our big day...
, answering questions and recommending vendors and ideas. James and I and many of our guests can't stop talking about how great it was to have Jodi and her team there! They made the day go so smoothly and from my perspective nothing went wrong! Before the wedding, people kept telling us that things will go wrong, and that it will go by so quick and we'll be so distracted that we won't remember it. Well, thanks to CES none of that advice was true! We remember the day and we remember it being perfect, I just can't say enough how much that is credited to Jodi and her team. The wedding was at my parents house, which was extra special but also came with a lot of extra details to plan. It also is an extremely special place to our family so it was important to make sure everything was protected and that my parents had some peace of mind. Jodi and her team did just that, they took care of James and I, my parents, the house, our guests, vendors, and pets, and lastly they kept me hydrated...it's more important that you know. Last thing I'll say just to make it clear how great Jodi was, is that my husband and I on our big day both agreed that Jodi was our favorite person there. :) Thank you Jodi and the whole CES team!
I can’t even being to tell how you much of a gem Jodi Drysdale is at CES weddings and events. As I sit here on my first wedding anniversary looking at my wedding photos, I just can...
’t ever imagine our special day being so perfect if Jodi wasn’t a part of it. Not only did she plan our Mexico destination wedding, she also traveled with us to Cabo San Lucas to make our wedding weekend fabulous. From coordinating with all the vendors, bringing all the special details, helping the day run smoothly and offering her wisdom and wonderful personality, she did it all. My husband and I both agree that hiring her was literally the best investment and made our planning/special day so easy, perfect and stress free. Jodi is not only a wonderful wedding planner but she treats you like a friend and we will always have a special place in our hearts for her. If you are in the Northern California area she is the gal that you need! Even if you think you don’t need a planner I would suggest meeting with her because she will make you wedding dreams come true.
Hiring Jodi and her team was the best decision we ever made. We hired Jodi for her day of wedding planning services, and if we could change one thing about our wedding it would hav...
e been hiring the CES team for our entire wedding coordination. I emailed and texted Jodi more than I would like to admit, and she was always quick to answer my questions and give me her recommendations. On the day of our wedding, we felt confident, stress-free and were blown away with how everything turned out. They executed our vision PERFECTLY! One thing that stood out to us the most about CES, was how highly recommended they were. Everyone knows Jodi and everyone sings her praises. We couldn't imagine our special day without Jodi and her team. Thank you, CES!
I could go on for hours but if you don’t want to read a lot then at least read this first part. DO NOT have a wedding in Chico without hiring the perfection of a human called Jodi ...
and her amazing team. Even if you think you can plan a wedding on your own, which I’m sure you can, Jodi will make it 1 million times easier and more enjoyable! She is worth every penny the best choices we made while planning without a doubt.
She knows every single vendor you could possiblle need in Chico and hundreds more in the surrounding areas. We had things at our wedding brought in from Oregon and Sac all because of her. Jodi listen to your vision and does everything she can to accomplish it. She will match you up with the right people, according to your budget personality and overall feel for the wedding. She has a knowledge that will elevate your wedding beyond measure.
She never limits the phone calls, emails, texts, between her and her clients. We could get a hold of her at any moment and she was happy to help!! She made the whole process so beyond easy it was shocking.
She has such a good reputation with ALL the vendors in Chico and the surrounding areas, she has built friendships with these people over the years so I strongly believe that my wedding was better because we thankfully had her name attached to it.
She is worth every penny and I know without a doubt hiring her will make your wedding more enjoyable for you and your guests and will make the process of planning a wedding fun.
Jodi is not only good at her job but she is an amazing person with a big heart. At the end of the day she just wants her brides and grooms happy and will do anything to accomplish that. She will forever hold a special place in my heart as well as my families and husbands.
If I were to write all the amazing qualities of Jodi this review would be really long. The bottom line is she’s fantastic. Whatever expectations you have of her you can multiply th...
at times a thousand. She will by far exceed any expectation that you have of her and her team. My day was perfect thanks to her, if there was an issue I never knew about it... and still don’t no about it! Jodi you rock sister, you are so fantastic at what you do. Not only myself But everyone at the wedding noticed how spot on you guys were. There are no words to thank you, but I will be forever grateful for you and all your hard work! Thank you!!! Oh and one more thing: if your thinking about a planner but not sure if you can afford it.... DO IT!
I have stayed in touch with Jodi off and on since she babysat me when I was seven (Chico is pretty awesome like that)!! When I got engaged, I knew I wanted her to be my wedding pla...
nner. I had had a good friend use CES and had an amazing experience! I reached out to her and from the moment I did- probably a year and a half out from my wedding- to the wedding day was just the BEST experience!!
My husband and I decided to go with their inclusive day of package, which includes a few consultation meetings before the wedding, unlimited support via text, call and email, and complete and total coverage on the day of the wedding. Jodi and her team went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations! Let's start with the unlimited support...there were many nights when I would have nightmares, or think about questions, or panic about what I may be missing. All I had to do was shoot Jodi a message and I would get a very prompt response which would instantly calm me down--they have seen it all, so they have answers to every situation in the book!
The day of the wedding, my mom and sister and I did not have to lift a finger. Jodi and her team kept us calm, cool and collect, and assured that we did not have to worry about who to pay when, what time to be where, or (one of the best parts) clean up!
It was so special for me to have Jodi, who I have known for so long be involved in such a special day for me. Looking back on our day, spending money on CES was hands down the most valuable choice we made for our day. Jodi has built a customer focused, creative, and really amazing business, and anyone would be lucky to work with herald her amazing team!
I was referred to Jodi through a family member and I am not sure how we would have pulled off our wedding without her as our partner. We hired her for day of coordination but her s...
ervices were well above and beyond that. She is 100% FANTASTIC. She jumped on calls, made a long trip to San Francisco to walk through all the details and showed up a day before the wedding with a capable staff member and was in full go mode. She was a pleasure to work with, has the best upbeat attitude, brings the utmost seasoned professionalism and gets you over the finish line with ease so you don't have to worry about a thing the day of. I cannot recommend her enough. It was a most beautiful and perfect day and we owe a lot of that to her!
I heard about Jodi, because she was the “best wedding planner” in our small town of Chico. Little did I know, she and her team would be not only that, but a WHOLE lot more. A weddi...
ng is the best day of your life, and Jodi and her team make it just that. I think the two things that stand out the most to me about CES is the organization, and the calming effect they have on you as a bride, and this day. They made it so easy. I felt like I never had to worry about a thing. Most importantly to me, was having my parents both very present at our wedding. CES was able to allow them to relax and enjoy the day. My Dad couldn’t say enough about how on top of EVERYTHING they were. Over and over, he told me how amazing it was to have them there. All of that is really great, but truthfully, the best part of Jodi and her team, is they’re trustworthy. They truly are your friends and they make it a point for you to know that. The relationship doesn’t stop after the wedding day. The friendship continues for a lifetime. Once a CES bride, ALWAYS a CES bride. I would recommend them over and over again.
To be honest, I fully hired Jodi because her bio said she loved churros and the price was right and that was just my language. Thank GOODNESS I did. Jodi was the best money we spen...
t. My mom and I are both incredibly high-strung and detail oriented and I cant even count the number of times Jodi said "I'll take care of that" or "that's me, don't worry about it" and then she did it. She walked the line perfectly between managing our unruly bridal party in a strict and fun way, and she made the entire weekend run smoothly. Every time my hand was empty, one of her girls would show up with my drink. It was honestly unreal. I wish I could get married again (fingers crossed I dont) so I could hire Jodi again. Her team was timely, fun, supportive, enthusiastic, and GOOD AT THEIR JOB. Such a pleasure to work with. If you're even slightly wondering if you should hire her, do it. Also, follow her on instagram because her lovely and bubbly personality really shines through, and I promise you'll see what a treasure she is to be around. JODI, WE LOVE YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE MOST PERFECT DAY OF OUR LIVES.

ches. Our wedding day was more perfect than we could have imagined and we owe that to Jodi's hard work and commitment to us. Not a detail gets overlooked with this amazing company. I wish I could offer 10-stars!
When we first got engaged, I almost immediately reached out to Jodi, at CES! That was certainly my second, very best decision (my groom being the first).

o work with Jodi and her team. We chose the “day of” package, but it certainly wasn’t a day of experience. She was constantly checking in throughout the whole planning and answered every question I had and gave great recommendations.
She is extremely professional, and objective which was critical when you are planning large(ish) wedding, in a short 6 months. She quickly picked up on all the details, got in contact with all of our vendors and put together a flawless wedding day! On the day of the wedding, she really helped calm my nerves and took care of EVERYTHING so that my bridesmaids and I (and my husband's groomsmen and him and our parents) could just enjoy the day!
I would hire Jodi over and over again! Look no further Brides, CES is really more awesome then I had anticipated.
Jodi & her team are the best decision you could ever make for your wedding! The planning is coordinated to the umpteenth detail and the day-of is seamless. Jodi truly makes the wed...
ding a FUN experience with NO WORRIES! My favorite feeling was waking up the morning of the wedding and just being able to enjoy every second of getting ready, laughing with my family and girlfriends, and drinking champagne - and not running around trying to see who is going to arrange the flowers on the table, or confirming the dessert lady is going to drop stuff off on time.
Jodi is sweet, honest, kind, organized, and efficient! You will be grateful to have her!
Jodi and the CES team are hands down the best! Totally worth every penny. They made our day so dreamy and completely stress free! Jodi was so organized, fun loving, and always one ...
step ahead of me. Truly the best in the bizz! Highly recommend CES Weddings & Events for any occasion!
Jodi and her CES ladies are the dream team for wedding coordination!! I hired them after my sister had an amazing experience working with them her for wedding. I knew right away I ...
would be hiring them for my wedding as well. It is by far the best investment for your wedding to have them by your side. They take away all your responsibilities on the day, so you can relax and enjoy. My husband and I truly had the best day ever on our wedding day, thank you CES!
Best wedding planner EVER!! Had the best time with CE weddings and Events! Everything from the planning to day of was fun and perfect !!
Jodi @ CES (owner) is one of my fave people in the wedding biz. My husband and I got married may 28th 2016 and chose CES as our week of planner (which really ends up being more tha...
n that is service- she helped me months before the wedding!!) This lady is constantly on her game and is your best source of info, gets things set up, comes through last minute with details you might have forgotten (or in my case screwed up) and remains in control and laid back through the whole thing!
She was the first wedding planner I talked to and didn't need to talk to anyone else after our first meeting. She is super organized and will be your best friend throughout the whole process. LOVE JODI- and would recommend her to anyone (and actually have recommended her to some people) for a wedding in any capacity- but would definitely recommend her to be on your radar for the whole process- she knows the best vendors!!!
