Ceremony Heaven - Reverend Kent Foster

the most he could and gave us wonderful ideas to make the night extra special. After the ceremony I had family coming up to tell me about how much they loved the ceremony because of him. He made the ceremony such a great experience for us and everyone who witnessed. If i did anything right it was picking kent foster as our officiant!

touch! It’s hard to choose someone to officiate your wedding but Rev. Kent made it super easy and stress free. My husband and I definitely recommend him!

ofessional officiant because 1) we both know multiple officiants and didn’t want to chose between loved ones/didn’t want to break it to them that we didn’t want it to be religious, 2) we wanted a ceremony and can’t really do that when self-uniting 3) we didn’t have a mutual friend we loved/who met us both around the same time to officiate. When we first met Reverend Kent, we thought he was very nice and was easy to talk to. We were VERY clear from the first meeting we wanted a non-religious ceremony with no mention of God or Jesus - all of which he was was okay with doing and said he’s performed non-religious ceremonies before. So we booked him. We actually preferred someone else but we respected that they said they wanted to still insert God and Jesus into their non-religious ceremonies during the blessing so we passed on them to go with Revered Kent. Red flag number 1: during our final chat with Rev. Kent we said we wanted traditional vows during our ceremony ex. “in sickness and in health…”, “for richer and for poorer…” , etc. and his immediate response was “well send me your personal vows and I’ll make sure they match in tone and length, and then send it back to each of you privately tweaks”. For 1) we literally just asked for very straightford vows and told him why and he ignored that. Also, he didn’t give us any feedback on when we ultimately did do what he suggested, thus not fulfilling his promise. Red flag two: not finding us before the ceremony to discuss the ceremony since he wasn’t at the rehearsal. Now when we first interviewed him, he himself rest assured us that he really didn’t need to be at the rehearsal because he’s done a million of them and felt like he didn’t need to be there. Had I known he was going to get all religious at our ceremony when we asked for non-religious.. I would’ve definitely had him come. He was no where to be found before the ceremony. Didn’t bother to come into the bridal suite to check in and review game plan before. Third red flag: We were VERY Clear we wanted a nonreligious ceremony in the initial talks. And since we brought it up so many times, we didn’t think it needed to be brought up again in the final chat. And yet during the ceremony Reverend Kent made this whole big religious prayer and I’m looking at him the whole time like “Stop, what are you doing?! Please stop”. I almost put my hand on my now husbands mic and ask him in front of everyone “what are you doing we said no religious prayer”. We would’ve been fine with “please bless this beautiful day”, but not “our father, god, who let Jesus bless us..” literally what we discussed NOT TO DO and he didn’t pay attention... So you can see it in my face the whole video of our ceremony like “what are you doing?!” And visibly upset. Fourth red flag: I asked him to announce us as “Mr. And Mrs. (X) and (Y) (last name)” so that both our families could here my first name paired with my now husbands last name for the first time… and he didn’t announce us as that. Just “husband and wife” because he forgot our names. Fifth red flag: “who gives this bride away” - I asked him to change it during the ceremony to a non-misogynistic verbiage which I will give him credit he did do during the ceremony. But he gave me a problem about it during our final talk.

He has a way of making everyone feel included even if they do not all necessarily share the same religion. He incorporated religion into our ceremony with prayer & spoke from the heart about the importance of love and commitment. We would 10/10 recommend him to any couple getting married! Thank you again! -Caitlin & Austin Hill 10.12.2024

sure that everything went smoothly. We received many compliments with how great our ceremony was, perfectly paced and very enjoyable. If you're having a ceremony in the Philadelphia & surrounding area, I couldn't recommend Rev. Foster more. My wife and I really appreciated how he put out his best effort to make sure our day was as special as it was.

of material and suggestions on how to make our wedding the best possible wedding we could imagine. Not only was he very professional, but he was also so personable that made him so easy to work with and an absolute delight. Reverend Foster was always early for each meeting and our wedding, and on the day of our wedding made us feel relaxed during our time of anxiety. His calm words put us at ease and I know now why he was recommended with such high praise. Whether you are religious or not, reverend Foster will make your wedding an amazing experience.

e is a wonderful guy! Our guests loved him too! He knows exactly what he is doing, and he made the whole process very straightforward and easy. 10/10 I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant. He knocked it out of the park! Our ceremony was one of the most magical aspects of our special day and we are so happy we chose Reverend Kent Foster at Ceremony Heaven! Thank you!

Foster was more than I planned for from start to finish. I rarely give unsolicited praise but with the way he carried out the ceremony he was almost more of a highlight than I was! He helped us plan what is probably one of the most tear jerking ceremonies anyone in my family has ever been too all while keeping a calm, kind, and appreciative demeanor. You could not literally wish for a better officiant through and through. I would get married again to my lovely wife just to say hi. Thank you from the very depths of our hearts Reverend. God Bless you and all that you do for all the days of your life!

commodating when I changed things a couple times at the last minute and was happy to go with whatever we wanted and it turned out beautifully at the wedding. He gets to know you and feels like he is part of the family. Very reasonable price and always communicated so you're never left wondering anything. I HIGHLY recommend him!! Thank you!!!

d Kent. I reached out to him and was able to meet via zoom a week after contacting him. He promised to reserve my wedding date until we had our meeting and then to my surprise the day of our meeting he texted me and said he gave my date away to a couple that he met with a while back who never got back to him! I cannot believe how untrustworthy this man is! I would never use him or recommend him to anyone!!!

day to fully understand our vision, answer our many questions, and make us feel comfortable leading up to the big day. I would definitely recommend hiring him for your wedding!

ence and recommended so many good ideas and bits of advice we hadn't thought about such as bringing our mom's up for the ceremony. He was so helpful at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding he made our ceremony so sweet and special to us. We are so happy to have found him and to have him help create such a memorable and special ceremony. We are so thankful!

rought up new ideas we had never even thought of and allowed us to create a ceremony unique to us. Our family and friends were all telling us how beautiful the ceremony was and we felt Kent did a phenomenal job. You could tell he is well rehearsed and prepared and has been doing this for a while. He even incorporated our moms into the ceremony and guided us with choosing our vows. He is great energy and a pleasure to work with.

em printed nicely so we could read them! He made our ceremony so special and everything was just perfect! We had guests come up to us and say how much the enjoyed our ceremony because of him! One of our guests actually recognized him because he officiated his wedding!!! Rev Kent is a great person and we are just very lucky to have found him! We would highly recommend him for anyone in need of an Officiant!

hank you enough!

the process of marriage license. He was very patient with us. He walked us through the whole process and answered any questions we had. He was great at following up on upcoming tasks. It was a huge help as wedding got closer, I was too busy with lots of moving things. We also had him over for our rehearsal as well. He was very friendly to all our friends and family. Same during the wedding. I don’t remember a single moment when he didn’t have smile on his face. He performed a great ceremony. He was very warm, kind, and sweet during the ceremony and after. Having him to marry us was one of the best decisions we made. I don’t have enough words to thank him, but I still want to say thanks to Reverend Kent to make our wedding so special for us.

both over the phone and in person. He provided examples and guidance from his several years of experience to ensure we made sound decisions in how our ceremony would flow. Overall our expectations were exceeded and we were so thrilled to have been married by Reverend Kent Foster.

ate about officiating. We were very lucky to have found her after our original plan to have a family member officiate fell through. With little time to plan, Barbara had everything under control. She gave us suggestions and ideas when we had little to no idea what we were doing. She made sure that everything we needed to do was in order and done in time. We had one zoom meeting and one in person meeting, and everything else fell into place. The ceremony was beautiful and perfect and we received many compliments from guests. Even though we has just met Barbara, it felt very comfortable and as if she were a friend on our wedding day. I would highly recommend her services for any couple looking for a highly professional and compassionate officiant.

ople), and Rev Kent stepped in and made our ceremony better than I ever could have imagined. Rev Kent gets to know you as a couple through multiple meetings (we chose zoom because of COVID). He sent us examples of vows and readings which really helped us! He is so thoughtful to tailor your ceremony to you and your significant other. He gets to know your family and vendors as well. He even gave our mother's a special surprise during the ceremony that made everyone cry! I could not thank him enough for the support and genuine kindness he showed my husband and I throughout this entire process. I had multiple guests and even my other vendors come up to me and my husband stating how thoughtful and wonderful Rev Kent was and how they would recommend him as well!! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts Rev Kent!!

when needed and made sure we reviewed each aspect of our ceremony. He provided ideas and helpful suggestions for planning and we received tons of compliments about both Kent and the beautiful ceremony itself. Highly recommend working with Kent and he will be a lifelong friend for sure!

, and even over video he put us at ease and we could tell how seriously he takes making each couple's day unique and special. He listened to what we were looking for, gave suggestions as to how best to structure the ceremony, and the day of he made us and our guests smile, laugh, and cry! He also did a great job of explaining the paperwork aspect of things to ensure we had everything we needed the day of. Couldn't ask for a better person to do your wedding. An extra shout out to Kent for being super prepared as well - he came with copies of our readings just in case - which ended up coming in handy during the ceremony! Thanks, Kent!

t. My husband and I aren't super religious and Kent was able to deliver a ceremony that was so special. He helped us with our vows, made us laugh, made us smile, made us cry, and truly was a huge part us starting our lives together. Kent is an expert and we can't recommend him enough.

reflected us. Reverend Kent was fantastic from start to finish. He never questioned us for wanting a non-religious ceremony. Reverend Kent took the time to get to know us as a couple and helped create a ceremony that was fitting for us. He was open and accepting to all our decisions, while assisting us along the way if we needed help. We were so grateful to have him preform our wedding and highly recommend him to anyone looking.

y format during our meetings leading up to the big day. He is so helpful with small details that you don’t even think about...I didn’t even realize until we got our photos back that he even fixed my train and veil for our recessional!

license and different options for vows. On the wedding day he kept us calm and spoke slowly and clearly. I would highly recommend him for anyone's wedding.

re that although I was not in a church that my ceremony represented a blend of my beliefs and my husband’s. Rev. Kent met with us and we felt it was an instant match. He did a great job of giving us an idea of what it would be like working with him and we knew he was the one. Its definitely hard at first going into meeting with a complete stranger to officiate your ceremony, but he immediately took that fear away. We met with him once more to customize our ceremony about 2 weeks before our wedding. Our guests gave us many compliments about Rev. Kent. He did a stellar job. I HIGHLY recommend him. Thank you for making our ceremony lovely and the highlight of our wedding day.

d I weren't too sure how we wanted our ceremony to flow. Reverend Kent gave us some great suggestions and we couldn't have been happier. He even went out of his way to meet with us in person twice before our wedding day. I highly recommend Reverend Kent Foster!

uld be a great officiant for our wedding. His communication to our questions and concerns are very prompt, and he provides you with examples of ceremony outlines and options to personalize your day. On the day of the wedding, he helped take care of our marriage license and eased our nerves with his personality and words.

ceremony, it was so sentimental there wasn't a dry eye! Everything about our ceremony was perfect. He spoke with such ease and the pace was perfect. Everyone complimented him and said it was the best ceremony they'd been to. Take the time to meet with him and you'll understand!!

could not have been any better! I could not count how many people came up to me right after the ceremony and said how fantastic he was! He is a really nice person too! Very highly recommend him!!!

erfect ceremony flow that was short & sweet while still incorporating all the important moments. We added some fun/personal lines to our traditional vows which was very memorable to both our guests and to my husband and I. The most important piece about Rev. Kent's ceremonies is that right before he tells the groom to kiss the bride, HE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! so your photographer can get a great shot of just the two of you and not your officiants head in the middle of your first kiss. This may seem silly but was SUPER important to me because I always found it awkward that the officiant's head is in the middle of people's first kiss photo!! He moves slightly to the side by the groomsmen and allows you to have the most picture perfect moment for your first kiss. Rev. Kent was responsive, professional and an all around good human! We loved working with him and would definitely recommend him to any couple looking to have a flawless ceremony.

et our needs that reassured us when we had some uncertainty with our venue. We will look back on our wedding day in the years to come and only have amazing memories, and it all started with the ceremony and Reverend Kent!

able to accommodate us where our ceremony still had a religious feel. He gave us different vows to choose from to help make our ceremony feel more personal. What's more, he offered a lot of great ideas which, once performed at the ceremony, all of our guests could not stop raving about!! I would highly recommend Revered Foster to anybody who is getting married; he will make sure to give you an unforgettable ceremony!
