Celeste H. Photography

s. She also took our engagement photos and people still gush over it on social media. For all your intimate moments - may it be a wedding, elopement or renewal of vows, Celeste and her team will definitely deliver.

communicated well by answering our questions. My husband and I felt we would look awkward taking photos because we're camera shy but she put us at ease with her calming and professional demeanour. She captured our wedding in such detail, that we were left in awe! her photographs of our wedding are beautiful and will last a lifetime for us. Hiring Celeste for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.

t super photogenic and lacked a vision for our wedding photos. Our families can also be a bit difficult to wrangle. However, Celeste navigated it all flawlessly. Nothing–including torrential rain and one of our fathers going missing for a surprise outfit change–phased Celeste. Celeste is also a lovely person. We met Celeste the year before our wedding at the wedding of two of our good friends, so we knew going in that she would be a fun and calming presence. She lived up to her reputation; easygoing, kind, and quick to respond to emails, she made the entire experience stress-free. Two days after the wedding we received a “sneak peek” file from Celeste of over 100 shots. We were floored by how well they came out and how quickly she was able to get them to us. About 8 weeks later we received the full album and we could not have been happier. Celeste’s photos captured the vibe we did not even know we wanted–bright, fun, light-hearted and silly. We wholeheartedly recommend Celeste for her talent and skill, adaptability, and the overall joy she brought to our wedding day.

t our engagement shoot, she waited for the rain to stop and made sure we still got the best shots. At our wedding, she captured every moment and made us and our families feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos are beautiful and we could not recommend Celeste enough!

as been such a professional and a pleasure to be around. We do not love attention so we greatly appreciate how easy she is to work with, and how natural everything felt during our photo shoots. At our engagement shoot, she made us feel so incredibly comfortable (coming from two people who are admittedly very camera shy and not big on PDA), and we ended up with the most gorgeous and effortlessly cool shots. Celeste brought amazing energy on our wedding day, and helped bring out the best of us in pictures. Celeste was thorough in preparing the wedding day shot list ahead of time, and got all of the portraits we wanted. We experienced some bad weather at the beginning of the day, and Celeste took all of the stress away by finding the most stunning indoor & covered spots for first look and portraits, and arranging for outdoor pictures when the weather cleared up. Best of all, she was able to turn around a preview / sample of the wedding photos within a day (!!!), so we were able to show her beautiful work to everyone who asked to see pictures during the weeks following our wedding. We are so incredibly happy with outcome of the photos and we couldn’t say enough great things about Celeste’s artistry and the experience of working with her. 11/10 would recommend Celeste for both her professionalism and quality of work. We will absolutely be hiring Celeste in the future if we ever need professional photographs!

y reflective of my rainy November day in Manhattan. She’s uber organized leading up to your big day, and her attention to detail day-of is unmatched. She’s kind, easy-going, and instantly removes any stress from the equation. My wedding memories are absolutely heavenly, and it’s because of Celeste’s incredible eye and natural talent. She goes above and beyond in every way, and I couldn’t recommend her enough for your special day.

red the essence of the day exactly the way we wanted and made us feel so relaxed during portraits! Even my mom and sister still talk about her. We cannot recommend Celeste enough! You get what you pay for and then some. Her energy and work added so much to the day.

style of photography and gave us a wonderful mix of artsy, candid and traditional portrait-style photos. She was very easy to communicate with, was so lovely to be around, captured everything and everyone we requested, and we love all our photos! We can't recommend Celeste enough.

elpful person. We give Celeste our warmest recommendation, she made our day a perfect experience! She takes very beautiful and professional photos! We had some challenges with our wedding date and travel due to covid 19, but she was flexible and we finally got married!

este for our February 2022 wedding! We initially hired Celeste for our Brooklyn wedding planned for June 2020. After multiple postponements and major changes to our original plans, we settled on a February 2022 wedding in Marietta, GA. Celeste was an absolute gem through all of these changes, always super accommodating and understanding. Celeste is incredibly talented and shot absolutely gorgeous moments we are so lucky that she captured! She really goes out of her way to ensure a flawless experience. For instance, the day before our wedding, she scoped out the location for our "first look" and organized a shot list of different locations around the square that would make phenomenal backdrops. And they truly were- are now some of our favorite shots! Celeste is so friendly, warm, and just lovely to work with from start to finish. My sister also hired her for her engagement photos and had an equally superb experience! I look forward to working with Celeste again. Thank you for helping us preserve our wedding day memories so beautifully, Celeste!!

appreciated her taking the trek out of NYC up to Poughkeepsie, NY for our wedding. Would definitely recommend! :)

everal times to plan out how we wanted our day to go, she was on time and stuck to the schedule, and went practically unnoticed the whole day while capturing the best photos. She's kind, thoughtful, and an absolute pleasure - we'll be hiring her to capture all our big life milestones.

denced by the photos you can see here or on her website), but she is truly one of the sweetest people who will be a support to you in ways you didn't even know possible. She made us feel SO comfortable and natural in her company in a matter of mere minutes and her personality matched us so well. She is great in both large family settings and just 1:1. We loved her work so much that we asked her to photograph our rehearsal dinner as well and that was SUCH a great decision. Celeste and her second shooter, Drea, were absolute professionals - super detail-oriented, incredibly responsive, great at giving direction but also amazing at letting us play and capturing the moments. Celeste is also just a genuinely nice person! Her positive energy is infectious - which is something you need on your wedding day when things will guaranteed not go to plan!! She is totally adaptable and down for anything - when we took our engagement pictures it was downpouring and instead of asking to reschedule she came and took the most STUNNING pictures of us with umbrellas all over Brooklyn! I cannot recommend Celeste enough - she is one of a kind and if I could give her and her team 10 stars I would!

s there for a quick reply whenever we needed. She truly is kind and talented, and we felt so at ease in front of the camera with her. Before she left for the night, she even double checked with me to make sure we got all the shots I had requested. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and genuine nature!

ny wedding vendor, communication is key and Celeste was always prompt with responding to our questions and concerns - this was particularly important as we had to push our wedding due to COVID last year. Both Celeste and Brittany were able to capture natural moments throughout our event and made all of our guests feel comfortable taking photos. During group photos Celeste was great at making sure all important photos were taken. The quality and stylistic edits of Celestes photos were superb as well - we could not recommend her enough!

easure to work with from start to finish, making everything easy on us. We had booked Celeste prior to the pandemic and ended up having to reschedule our wedding twice. She was accommodating and reassuring through the whole process. Celeste and her associate Drea photographed our wedding day - both of them were so professional and on top of things, not to mention fun to work with! They captured all of our key moments. We highly recommend working with Celeste!!

on the locations and made everything super easy and convenient while taking our pictures. We can warmly recommend her.

n April 2020 (which of course, did not happen). She ended up seeing us through three postponements over 18 months, and she was so compassionate, flexible, and patient through it all. Not to mention, organized! The portal she uses made it so easy to keep track of contracts, questionnaires, and eventually proofs and photos — we are so grateful for how seamless she made everything! When it came time to reschedule our wedding for what would be the final time, she had a scheduling conflict with the date we chose, so unfortunately we didn't get to have her there as our photographer, but her incredible associates Brittany and Lesly were able to step in, and they were everything we could have asked for. They both just had such a calm, collected way about them (and their energy helped *me* stay calm through the whirlwind of a day). It was a perfect day and I still can't believe how lovely all the photos came out (my husband and I are the kind of people who always feel awkward in photos, but against all odds, Brittany and Lesly managed to capture us looking relaxed and happy throughout the day/night). Couldn't be more happy with our experience, and would not hesitate for even a second to recommend Celeste to anyone who needs a photographer!

cater the style to the individual couple. We loved working with her for our engagement shoot — she made us feel very comfortable and we had a great time laughing and talking with us. And the pictures we got back were gorgeous. When we had to postpone for a year, she was very flexible and and so supportive. When our wedding day finally came, working with her was amazing. Her second photographer, Drea, was also great. Taking the portraits was so fun and they were sure to get every shot on our shot list. A few days after the wedding, we got our sneak peek and the pictures are incredible. I’m so happy she and Drea were there to capture our special day.

couldn't move it. She was a trooper and honestly such a calming force to me since it was so stressful to take pics in those conditions. On our wedding day she was PERFECT! She dealt with last minute changes with ease, took truly AMAZING pictures (multiple friends said they liked my wedding pictures better than their own), and was so responsive to our needs. I was getting really tired and hot during pictures and she moved so quick but still got amazing shots. I specifically requested a TON of candid photos and she sent me HUNDREDS of candids (we got 1200 total photos which I was so happy about). I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and would use her for literally any event ever in the future. Thank you Celeste!!

n the phone, I was so at ease. Celeste helped me break down what I would need for the day (hours of photography, how many photographers, photo album) and I never felt pressured into anything I didn’t need. The questionnaire I filled out leading up to the wedding was so detailed and helpful to go over with Celeste so she knew exactly what / who was important to capture on the big day. Celeste arrived while I was getting ready and was instantly so easy to speak to and work with, she captured all the important little details early on. I felt so at ease in front of the camera, everything felt so natural & nothing was overly staged. My husband is someone who does not like having his picture taken at all in general and felt so comfortable in front of the camera. Celeste was able to get all the shots off of our shot list & captured so many special moments with myself, my husband, our son, families, and friends. Throughout the night any time I went to look for Celeste to capture a certain moment she was already there, getting it. Celeste was so on top of everything, making sure she captured every special moment. I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better experience with a photographer. Celeste was so easy to talk to, so professional, and just such a nice person, it was a pleasure to have her as part of my special day. To top it all off her work is amazing, the photos I’ve seen so far are really great and something that my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a photographer look no further, Celeste is amazing & I can’t recommend her enough!

erson to work with, who communicates clearly and instantly understands me. Here’s my full review: When starting to plan for our wedding, I knew the photography would be one of the most important aspects to me. I wanted someone I'd feel comfortable with, so that the photos would look natural and relaxed, someone who had an eye for capturing the emotion and nuances of our special day in addition to the grandeur of it, and most of all someone who understood how important this was to us. I wanted photos that would become a keepsake for us. I was mesmorized by Celeste's photos, and once we talked and met, she more than met my expectations. She is a wonderful, friendly, warm-hearted person who is passionate about her work, and takes you seriously while being a fun and easygoing person to work with. Prior to the pandemic, my husband and I got photos with Celeste the day we got legally married in Manhattan. I knew that I felt comfortable with her, and the photos came out stunning. I feel like I became part of her works of art. When our wedding got postponed by the pandemic, Celeste and Chaz kept in touch, and were understanding of the need to reschedule the wedding. We spoke with Celeste before the rescheduled wedding and went over the details and itinerary for the day. At the wedding itself, it was so wonderful to see Celeste. She was upbeat, professional, and helped keep our schedule on time. She got beautiful shots from start to finish, and it almost felt like she was a part of our wedding party. All my bridesmaids and I felt super comfortable with her throughout the process of getting ready, putting on the dress, etc. She touched base with me as the reception was winding down just to make sure if I wanted any other shots before she left, and I thought that was thoughtful of her. After the wedding, we received very timely photos. I was absolutely blown away by all the photos at every stage of the wedding day. These are my forever keepsakes and I am so happy that I’ll always have these photos of the special day.

ing a preview quickly, receiving all photos in a timely manner, ability to travel and provide an assistant, digital files, etc.) and Celeste accommodated them all. When COVID hit and we had to postpone, she was extremely helpful and flexible. On the day of the wedding, Celeste and her associate went above and beyond to make our day special - even helping carry my dress, veil, shoes when I needed it! She made sure to capture all images I requested. The photos we've seen so far have been spectacular, we can't wait to see the rest! Thank you Celeste & team!

getic from point A to Z. Keep in mind our photo shoot day was windy and freezing, the only thing that kept me and my fiance going was Celeste's fun and encouraging energy. She was SUCH a trooper being out there with us. The photos? Amazing! She listened, took stock of the inspo photos I sent and I will cherish these pictures. 10/10 will book her again.

eplanning. Celeste has been incredibly flexible and even came to our micro-ceremony some hour away on short notice to be sure that she captured our special day. We are so in love with every photograph and really cannot wait until we are able to finally celebrate and have Celeste capture that day too!

that she took the time to know us and is extremely supportive throughout the whole process. Our engagement shoot was a blast, my husband and I decided to shoot in a part of the city we weren't familiar with because we said, why not! Celeste was familiar with the area and led us around like a pro. It was so much fun, the photos came out AMAZING, and I love looking back on them all time. As a person who is not comfortable in front of a camera, Celeste really calmed my nerves (of course my husband was fine haha). Her personality lifts you up and I really appreciate that because I was afraid you'd just see extreme nervousness in all of our photos. My husband and I got married on 9/5/2020 and our original wedding turned into a micro wedding two weeks prior. Celeste was on it and with us every step of the way. Not once did I have to worry about her. She was responsive, supportive, she had our backs when we didn't even know where our backs were at the time. Our wedding day was amazing despite the quick change and I'm so happy that we had Celeste by our side. Our photos are beautiful and we both feel so comfortable around her. I can't say enough great things about her and our experience. It was truly the best even through COVID. We can't wait to get married again later this year and do it all over with Celeste!

e time, not terribly professional) and made sure that all of our anxieties were put to rest. At every step, she was prompt, knowledgable, professional, and incredibly warm and friendly! She put us at ease immediately and made sure we knew what the timeline was. On top of everything, when my wedding week arrived with forecasts of solid rain, she said "don't worry, I'll take care of it — it'll be sunny" and wouldn't you know it, we had a 70º day with sun in the middle of January. Even if she hadn't somehow worked actual magic, her calm and cheer helped me calm down and focus more on getting excited. I sincerely can't recommend her enough. She will put a smile on your face and deliver truly beautiful photographs.

artist behind the lens. Her presence alone made our big day that much more special!

doing our shoot. She's also super responsive and helped us make some more quick edits after sharing the final set with us. I would highly recommend her to others!

her for their own wedding! She made the planning process so easy and stress free. She was always quick to respond to our many questions and prior to the wedding, Celeste made a schedule for our first look photos and a list of all of the pictures that were important to us to have on our day. She made sure she got every single one! Not only was Celeste very thorough and took amazing photos, but she was also a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process! She is the sweetest and you will not regret hiring her!

Hall wedding. Celeste was our witness and knew everything about the City Hall process and so getting married ran very smoothly. She knew exactly where to take us in our chosen location afterwards to get the type of shots we asked for. She was completely non intrusive, letting us enjoy the moment, while capturing it perfectly. We could not be happier with the photos. I would 100% recommend her!

before the wedding, so it was a bit of a risk. She made the process so seamless and got all the shots we wanted, even though we were in a time crunch. She even made my fiancé feel comfortable, and he HATES having his picture taken. Everyone (friends, aunts, parents, MY FIANCE) raved about how Celeste was able to wrangle the group while also being laid back. They still mention it several months later. And when we got our pics back they were even more blown away! We made photo albums for our parents and it was so easy because all of the photos go so well together. The coloring and editing is top notch, and you can tell she individually edited each picture. People tell us they're magazine worthy (and we're not models!). We only had Celeste for 3 hours and we ended up with so many pictures to choose from. Also, Celeste is very affordable for the area. If you're looking for a wedding photog in NYC, I 10/10 recommend you use Celeste!

before, during, and after our wedding day. We strongly recommend her! I daresay without a doubt that Celeste Hernández is one of the best photographers in New York. We are extremely glad that we decided to choose her. Certainly the best possible decision made ever!

ision we could have made for our wedding. She always responded promptly to our questions and concerns. During our engagement session, we got to know her and understand her style - she immediately made us comfortable and it shows in the photos. During our wedding day, we worked with her and her assistant Brittany. They were the best team! They were able to control my super large and loud family and got the most incredible photos. Celeste has this amazing calming presence that is able to control a room, which is just what we needed on our day. She was able to turn around our sneak peek from our wedding in 2 days. 2 DAYS. Unheard of! We were able to get a taste of our wedding when we went on our honeymoon. We got our entire album a month later. I don't know anyone who got their photos that quick. Don't talk to anyone else - Celeste is your girl and truly the best decision we made.

was a friend rather than a stranger with a camera. (She was a hit with our guests, too!) Celeste's artistic eye for natural beauty, candid moments, and her ability to capture the love on our day was truly unforgettable. We love our photos and can wholeheartedly recommend her work to anyone in search of a supremely talented photographer.

My wife and I wanted a photographer who would be able to catch candid shots of genuine moments, not just focusing on posed or family photos, and boy did Celeste deliver. We have some of the most amazing shots, not only of us, but of all of our guests having the time of their lives. Celeste is also just a warm, energetic, and special person. We were blown away when we met her for the first time with just how genuinely happy she was to share in our special day. After meeting her we immediately felt like she was already our friend. Celeste made my wife and I feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera where we normally feel awkward. She was able to hide in the background and get some unbelievable candid action shots and she was even able to get our two dogs to behave for the camera. To say we were happy with the service she provided would be a massive understatement. She is simply the best, you will not find a better photographer who genuinely cares so much the way Celeste does.

ng a photographer was one of the most important decisions for my husband and I when planning our wedding — our photos would hold our memories of that day and we wanted someone who could capture us authentically. I searched for months for a photographer whose style and editing I loved - I wanted someone who took more candid photographs of us in genuine moments, whose editing was natural, and who could capture the emotion of our wedding day and the special moments, not only between my new husband and I, but with the people we love most. Celeste was absolutely perfect. I was living in Canada while planning our wedding, so unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Celeste until a couple weeks before the wedding when we did our ‘engagement’ shoot, but when we met up with her, she blew us away. She was warm, funny, and made us both feel completely relaxed. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable posing for photos, so she just gave us some minor direction and captured our love in a way that felt like us. (Plus, my husband and I went to Coney Island on one of our early dates, so it’s always meant a lot to us - I floated the idea to Celeste and she was immediately excited to shoot us there, even though it was a hike and a half for her). Throughout the planning process, I was somewhat dreading the photos on the day because I didn’t want to miss out on cocktail hour, but Celeste makes taking photos so much fun. It’s like hanging out with a friend. We received our sneak peak and they are absolutely stunning! We can’t wait for the rest of the photos. I adore Celeste! She’s such a sweetheart and so incredibly talented. Thank you so much for everything, Celeste!

proved to be responsive, friendly, and extremely talented. We were on the same page style-wise from the start- we wanted our photographer to capture the natural magic and love of our wedding day, and Celeste did just that! Our photos are absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out! Not only is Celeste talented and professional, but by the time our wedding day rolled around, she felt like an old friend! She seamlessly fit right in with our guests and was so much fun to work with. She truly captured the magic of our day, and we will remember that forever. Highly highly recommend!!

he camera. She did our engagement shoot (complimentary) as well where we got to know her better before the wedding. She is so fun to work with and we couldn't have a picked a better photographer. Everyone at the wedding party complimented her and my husband and I were so lucky to have her capture our love.

ent very well so we knew we had to hire her. From the very beginning, Celeste showed us how much passion she has for her job and how much she cared about providing the perfect photos. We started out with an engagement shoot and Celeste came to our apartment and really made us feel comfortable during the entire process. The photos were spectacular! We knew we were in good hands from that moment on. And on our wedding day, Celeste did not disappoint. She did a fantastic job getting all of the shots we requested. She’s extremely organized and professional. Celeste is not only a supremely talented photographer but she’s an amazing person. She has a cheerful, energetic personality that really makes taking photos feel fun but at the same time relaxing. She knows how to get the best out of each shot and knows how to direct each person, no matter their age, throughout the process. Everyone at our wedding raved about how great she was. Our wedding photos were simply magical. She put a great deal of effort into ensuring all of our photos looked stunning. We’ll always look back at our wedding photos fondly because of the spectacular job Celeste did. She’s simply one of the best wedding photographers in the industry. Thank you, Celeste!

thers and siblings have been raving over the photos and calling out how great she was. My husband and I both work full-time in the photo industry so we are very opinionated about photography and we both agree that Celeste was nothing but Wonderful to work with. She's the type of person you just want to be best friends with. Thank you Celeste!

one. Our wedding was an elopement and we had 9 family members with us. Celeste made everyone feel comfortable and at ease when it was time for pictures. She did a great job capturing candids throughout the elopement ceremony. My husband and I had no idea about where to take our photos after the wedding ceremony, and Celeste was great about providing us with location options throughout the city, all of them which were Amazing! She recently sent us a sample of our shots and we are in love! We can’t wait to see all the pictures! Celeste has an amazing eye for capturing the beauty around a couple but at the same time is also great about capturing the love between them. I highly recommend Celeste for your engagement, elopement, wedding, etc. You will not be disappointed!

we are as a couple. Celeste was so quick to respond to our email queries and provided great advice on locations for pictures in New York City, how the day would run and guided us through the actual day once the nerves and emotions kicked in! On the day itself I was disheartened that it was raining constantly, but Celeste was our cheerleader and was continually raising our spirits- reflected in the beautiful pictures she took. Saying goodbye to her at the end of the day felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend. We are so happy that we chose Celeste to be our wedding photographer, and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

he allowed me to share my whole vision and helped me craft it with insightful questions and knowledgeable advice about the area and what would be best for our photos. By the time our wedding finally arrived I was as excited to meet her as I was for the photos! She helped guide us through our City’s clerks office wedding and ensured that our our photos felt like a fun and organic part of the day. And most importantly our photos were AMAZING. So many people have shared how much they enjoyed viewing them and how expertly Celeste captured the emotion and joy of the day.

g into the elopement session with Celeste, but she calmed my nerves and gave me so much peace. I will recommend her to every single person I know.
