If there is one vendor from our wedding that we could recommend a thousand times over, it would be John Lowe and his incredible team! ❤️
From the very first time we met them at our...
tasting, we knew there was something special about these people. They didn't just make us feel like clients; they instantly made us feel like family. There was a genuine warmth, kindness, and love about them that went far beyond the food they prepared, and we knew right away that we were in the best hands.
And the FOOD! 🤤 Our guests are still raving about how amazing everything was! Every single dish was absolutely delicious, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was one of the highlights of our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for anything better.
But what makes John Lowe and his team so special goes beyond their incredible talent in the kitchen. They are genuinely wonderful people with hearts of gold who put so much love and care into what they do. You can feel that they aren't just showing up to cater an event; they truly care about the people they're serving and the memories they're helping create.
Planning a wedding comes with so many decisions, but choosing John Lowe was one of the easiest and BEST decisions we made. We are so incredibly grateful that our paths crossed, and we feel lucky to have had people like them be part of such an important day in our lives.
John, thank you for feeding our family and friends so beautifully, for taking such wonderful care of us, and for being the kind of people who leave a lasting impression long after the plates have been cleared. You gave our guests an experience they are still talking about, and you gave us one less thing to worry about on a day that meant the world to us.
If you're looking for a caterer who will deliver incredible food, exceptional service, and the kind of genuine care that makes you feel like family, look no further. We would choose John Lowe and his team a million times over! ❤️
The food was unforgettable, but the people behind it made it even more special. And to us, that's what makes all the difference. 🥹❤️

Catering by John Lowe made the most delicious food for our wedding day! We were sold from the first tasting. All of our food was flavorful and dinner was hot for all of our guests....
Our guests continue to tell us how much the loved the food, even weeks later. The after party food was a perfect addition for us to take to our hotel. Get the Strawberry Lemonades, they are worth it and were the star of our wedding!
From start to finish, John Lowe Catering exceeded every expectation we had. From our very first tasting, Chef John and his team completely blew us away. Every single dish was delic...
ious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We left our tasting counting down the days until our wedding because we couldn't wait for our family and friends to experience the food too.
There were so many standout dishes, but I have to give a special shout-out to two of my favorites. We added the strawberry lemonade with mango ice as our signature happy hour drink, and it was an absolute hit. It was refreshing, unique, and the perfect treat on a hot summer day. And then there were the mashed potatoes...which, as a mashed potato enthusiast, is saying a lot! They were hands down some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had and were absolutely to die for.
On our wedding day, the entire staff was incredible. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. One of the waiters even put together a plate with every cocktail hour appetizer so my husband and I wouldn't miss out while we were taking photos and talking with our guests. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much to us. Throughout the night, someone was always checking in to make sure I had food, a drink, or anything else I needed. As a bride, it's so easy to forget to eat because you're busy talking to everyone and soaking in every moment, so their kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed.
One of my favorite memories came after the wedding. They carefully boxed up all of our leftovers, and the next day my husband and I picked them up before heading back to our hotel. We spent the day relaxing, reliving our favorite moments from the wedding, and eating the most amazing leftovers. Honestly, it was the perfect way to end the best weekend of our lives.
To this day, our guests still rave about the food. Whenever someone brings up our wedding, one of the first things they mention is how incredible everything tasted. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a staff that truly goes above and beyond—John Lowe Catering delivered all of that and more. We are so grateful they were part of our wedding day and helped make it unforgettable. 🤍

ng—and if you book one, be sure to arrive hungry because there is plenty of delicious food to try!
The tasting experience was fantastic. It was clear that the chef takes great pride in his work, and that passion was reflected in every dish we sampled. When our wedding day arrived, the quality and service exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, the presentation was beautiful, and our guests absolutely loved it. We are still hearing compliments about how delicious the meal was!
One of our favorite touches was the dessert platters. They were the perfect addition to the evening, and there was just the right amount for our guests to enjoy. Everything was thoughtfully planned and executed.
We were also incredibly grateful for the care they took with food allergies. We had several guests with dietary restrictions, and the team took every request seriously. They made note of each allergy in advance and ensured accommodations were in place on the wedding day. It gave us peace of mind knowing our guests could enjoy the meal safely without having to worry.
We truly cannot thank John Lowe Catering enough for helping make our wedding day so special. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional food made a lasting impression on us and our guests. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer and would happily work with them again in the future!

us and creative food! From customizing the menu to complement our theme, to using decor and food to create the most amazing tablescapes, they went above and beyond! The staff members were all so friendly, professional and knowledgeable and made the experience great! I was blown away by the crostini bar they created (all gf!) and how filled the table was with all different food selections. It was truly STUNNING!! Everyone was raving about it! We had a chef attended lunch buffet with multiple options and the presentation was beautiful! From carved beef tenderloin with potato latkes and poached eggs laced with hollandaise, to pan seared rock shrimp and coconut curry over risotto cakes, a pear salad, and gf muffins. For dessert we had a pear tartlet, panna cotta topped with pear granita and assorted macaroons and all were outstanding! They also handled our bar and the specialty drinks they made were so refreshing and delicious! Thanks so much to the entire John Lowe team for all your hard work and making the event so special!!

n Lowe’s food at an open house and we were at a loss for words. We immediately booked a tasting and it’s some of the best food we ever had. John Lowe is not your typical wedding caterer. John and his team go above and beyond with their presentation and taste. You can tell how passionate he is about food. Our wedding day came and everything was outstanding. As the bride and groom we had our own personal server during cocktail hour to ensure we got to enjoy everything with all the chaos that comes with pictures and such. From happy hour to dinner to desserts, specialty drinks and late night snacks, everything is top tier. Almost 2 months later and our friends are still talking about the food. I’d rate John and his team higher than 5 stars if it was an option. Our wedding day would not have been the same without them!
We were really picky when it came to choosing our wedding caterer. We love food — and we’ve been to a few weddings where the event was amazing, but the food didn’t quite measure up...
. From our very first meeting with John Lowe Catering, we were completely wowed.
They had us sample several appetizers and meal options, and everything was so good that we literally wrote a check and paid the deposit before we even left the building. That’s how confident we were.
Fast forward to our wedding day — and all anyone could talk about was the food. The cocktail hour bites were incredible, and guests were going back for seconds (and thirds) at the buffet. As the bride and groom, we were completely spoiled — someone from their team even brought us our own plates and made sure we were taken care of. It felt like such a thoughtful touch.
Since we didn’t hire a full planner, we managed most of the coordination ourselves. The venue required a lot of paperwork from vendors, and John Lowe’s team could not have been more patient, kind, or helpful — even when we asked the same question multiple times.
I’m still dreaming about their food. I can’t recommend John Lowe Catering enough to anyone who wants to prioritize high-quality, delicious food and truly exceptional service on their wedding day.
Also check out the photos the quality of food and service was outstanding but the extra commitment presentation exceed our expectations.
Catering by John Lowe offers amazing food and service!

Also- my husband is gluten free, and had zero issues the entire day with accidentally eating gluten. They even made a variation of one of the hors d’oeuvres, specifically for him, so that he could eat them.

ible. Each dish was beautifully presented, packed with flavor, and absolutely incredible. Our guests were raving about the meal, with many saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. They even accommodated dietary restrictions without any hassle, which we really appreciated. From the appetizers to the peach cobbler station, everything exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful to have had them be a part of our special day. We highly recommend! They also dedicated a team to walk follow us around and ensure we got to enjoy the appetizers.

e moment we met them at a wedding event, we knew their food was what we wanted for our wedding! My sister convinced me to ask for pricing for the buffet option, and when I was told their prices, MY JAW DROPPED. I immediately booked a tasting with them, and to this day, my husband says we were treated like kings and queens, and the food was phenomenal! Throughout the planning process, they were easy to email and always checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for the big day. On the big day, the food was the hot topic of conversation for all of our guests—they were in LOVE!! John Lowe and his team also made sure my husband and I got to have a sampling of everything from the cocktail hour and dinner, which was just so thoughtful of them. If you’re not sure who to trust to create the perfect menu for your day, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend Catering by John Lowe.

out of state. During our tasting, my husband, father, and I ate like kings and felt we were treated like family!
Every step of the way in our planning, John Lowe’s team was available to answer our questions and were so patient with us. They were incredible working with us on the many dietary restrictions our guests.
On the day of, our guests raved about the poached pear mocktails, and quite a few said it was some of the best “wedding food” they’d had! And having Lex assigned to take care of my husband and I throughout the event was a godsend. One of my clearest memories of the day was Lex sneaking my husband hors d'oeuvres between pictures —she had our whole bridal party chuckling. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The food was an absolute highlight, and our guests are still raving about it! We wanted a mix of options, and Catering by John Lowe knocked it out of the park. The butlered hors d'oeuvres were another standout—delicious bites like crispy spring rolls and peach bruschetta were amazing. We even had our own personal server for the day, ensuring that we could fully enjoy the food we had chosen.
Not only was the food fantastic, but the team was a dream to work with. Chef John took the time to understand our vision and created a customized menu that was exactly what we wanted. Every detail was thought through, from the fresh, locally sourced ingredients to the gorgeous presentation.
I can't thank Catering by John Lowe enough for making our wedding day so memorable. They brought such a personal touch to everything, and it’s clear they genuinely care about making your day special. was definitely daunting, but the staff was incredibly kind and responsive to any questions or changes/alternations throughout the process. The food tasting was our favorite part of the planning process, and they even made that feel extra special. We went with family style, which was perfect for our wedding, and our family absolutely loved it. We only had 55 guests, with the majority being close family, and the family-style made it feel much more special. Also, I still hear about how good the food was. Highly recommend.

The long and short of the situation is this: The experience was frustrating every single step of the way. To the point that the quality of the food didn't even matter at that point, I was fuming in the days before the wedding because all of the frustrations over the past year compounding.
At every turn we were told no to things, even when they had been promised at the tasting. And on the wedding day our kids didn't eat because of their screw up, and rather than apologizing or trying to make it right we just got a shrug and were told they were out of food.
I waited a week to cool down before writing the review but instead I'm MORE upset because I'm a nice person and I feel like I got walked over by them and that's not okay.

have John Lowe at our wedding. The food was AMAZING! The team was so friendly and worked with us to create the perfect menu for our wedding, even including custom requests. Our favorite part was that they went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I got to taste all the delicious food we had chosen. We had our own server for the day and right after the ceremony, we got to try our amazing appetizers with a special tray just for us. They also ensured we got some of everything on our plate for dinner and it gave us the opportunity to make sure we actually ate our meal on such a crazy day. Our guests raved about how delicious everything was, and the late night wanderer station was a HUGE hit! To top it all off, they sent us home with leftovers that we got to enjoy the next day. John Lowe also offers a unique family style serving option that is the perfect balance between a buffet and served dinner. They were extremely efficient and dinner time went very smoothly for us and all our guests! We were very proud to have chosen a caterer with such delicious food and great service for our big day! ur catering and dining experience. My husband and I both come from Jewish families and I was initially really anxious and concerned about finding vendors who would be able to accommodate our guests and their expectations. John Lowe and the team EXCEEDED our expectations with their attention to detail, food requests, assisting us in finding a few glatt kosher meals and a few surprises for my husband and a few couples who were celebrating anniversaries and recent nuptials. Everyone was raving about our food and we also LOVED everything. I have to give a special shout out to the server they had working with us - she was SO respectful, kind, and attentive. I was not sure how closely I wanted to be followed around during my wedding and she was incredibly respectful but when she saw my husband and I were not getting enough food during cocktail hour, swooped in (with a second server!) to make sure we actually got to enjoy the food and drinks on our day. Susan was so lovely (as always) and we just cannot express enough thanks for their flexibility, attention, hand holding, guidance, all of it. I highly highly recommend this team. Jewish couples getting married in the area - they will totally work with you - they even had a challah for us as requested. Seriously, we are thrilled with our experience!!

Everything was so yummy it was difficult making choices for our wedding! We had a few "off menu" requests Chef John happily accommodated. Not only was the food excellent, but Jennifer was very easy to work with, communicative, and organized which is all HUGE when planning a wedding. I would highly recommend Catering by John Lowe and hope i get to work with them in the future!

lutely blown away. We knew immediately that we had to book them. The tasting was way more involved than what you typically expect of small portions and still leaving hungry. You are able to try many different options, ones that you may have not even thought of, and I can promise you, you will not leave hungry!! Every single thing was delicious and of such high quality - I couldn’t even pick a favorite! The options of food are endless and we know that even if we pick something we didn’t try, there is no doubt that the food will be excellent! With food being one of, if not the biggest, expense of a wedding you want it to be memorable - catering by John Lowe will do just that and more! I can guarantee my guests will be talking about this for years because from the appetizers, entrees, and desserts, every single part will be a hit! We are very excited for our upcoming wedding and cannot wait to work with them! What are you waiting for - book them now!!!
