It feels so bittersweet writing this review because it means my bridal era with Carter by my side has come to an end 🥹 From the very start Carter set the tone with our engagement ...
shoot. She made us feel so comfortable and confident. I couldn’t wait to have her by my side on our wedding day. Not only is she extremely talented she is THE BEST hype girl. Her energy was unmatched and she brought so much more joy to our special day. Looking back at our wedding gallery I could not be more grateful for Carter. She captured the most special day of our lives EXACTLY how it felt. I will cherish these photos forever and the memories made with her along the way too. I couldn’t recommend Carter enough!! 🤎
Carter captured our day in a way I didn't know was possible. From our consultation to our wedding day & the months to follow, her communication was great. She is the best hype woma...
n & was such a fun, bubbly presence on our wedding day. We are so happy with our photos and cannot recommend her enough.

r logistics questions to helping me make decisions on things like having a second shooter. On the wedding day, Carter brought the absolute best energy. She hyped me and my bridesmaids up so much while we were taking pictures and made us all feel so special. She also seamlessly organized a very large 30 person group photo which was so impressive. I’ll also give her second shooter, Rae a special shout out. The two of them worked so so well together, they make a really great team.
Carter and Rae got every shot we planned and then some. Carter truly captured the energy, the love, and the happiness of the entire day. All of our photos turned out so amazing. I am having such a hard time figuring out which ones to print. I was also so impressed by how quickly she was able to deliver not just our sneak peaks, but our entire portfolio. Carter’s passion not just for photography but for capturing her clients’ most special moments shines through in her work. I will cherish our photos forever and I am so glad we booked Carter for our wedding!
Carter photographed our July 2025 wedding in Youngstown, OH
A year before our wedding, we met for coffee and I got to tell her about our wedding and what we were looking for in a ...
photographer. Our energy and values felt very aligned and it made the decision easy to go with her. Literally never worried once from the moment we booked her to the day of the wedding because I knew she was going to kill it and she totally delivered.
Leading up to the wedding, she was able to give me feedback on our day-of timeline, and we went back and forth several times to make sure we had allotted the appropriate amount of time for the different parts of the day.
The day of the wedding she played a huge role in helping things go smoothly. Her attitude and demeanor made everyone feel so comfortable. Her presence was just so supportive, and nothing felt forced. She was really centered my husband and I's experience and made sure the day went exactly how WE wanted. Our wedding day was quite hot, and she worked with us to do some photos inside and some outside. No matter the setting or lighting, the photos turned out beautiful which really shows how talented she is. Our photos turned out beautifully, and captured the classic and timeless look we were going for :)
Thank you Carter!!!!

She is so kind and really is the ultimate hype girl!
Communicating with Carter was so easy and she was very responsive, especially when it came to slight changes in the plan.
We can't wait to see the rest of our photos in a few weeks! 🤍
All I need to say: HIRE CARTER!

cheering you on, keeping the energy high, and even dancing right alongside us to capture the most fun, candid moments. So many of our guests commented on how much they loved her vibe!
And then there are the photos… absolute magic. Every single image is stunning and captures the joy, love, and energy of the day perfectly. Everyone I’ve shared them with has been blown away. I couldn’t be more grateful to have had Carter as our photographer - she went above and beyond in every way.

d!!
Carter is more than a photographer she’s your personal hype woman, a calming presence, and someone who really listens to what you want. She made sure every special moment was captured and made the whole day even more magical.
I booked her a year in advance and now I understand why she’s that good. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign: book Carter. She’s a gem and I’m so thankful I had her by my side!
I cannot put into words how much I recommend Carter! We booked her for our wedding and our package included engagement photos as well. My husband and I are both pretty awkward and ...
never really like what we see in photos. During our engagement session she helped pose us and made us feel at home in front of the camera. Once we got the engagement photos back I knew we would be set for the wedding. We both loved how we looked and everything felt so natural. Prior to the wedding Carter worked with the wedding planner to make sure we had a solid timeline. She worked great with all vendors! The vendors, family members, bridal party, and guests constantly commented on how kind and efficient she was. Come wedding day she was the absolute best hype man! She listened to what we wanted and was easy going as well. We got pretty much every photo we wanted done before cocktail hour so we could mingle with our guests. It made the day so much easier to have the photos done and let her capture everyone enjoying the night the rest of the time. We just got our photos back and they are STUNNING! I feel so beautiful and I am having to stop myself from hanging them on every open wall in my house. I seriously can't recommend her enough!

eryone feel beautiful whenever she took a picture. We love her editing style and the poses for pictures. I would suggest anyone to use her as a wedding photographer!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR: run, do not walk, to Carter for your wedding photography! Her positivity and passion for her work is infectious and she is able to get true candid photos even ...
when two awkward introverts are involved. We had many non-traditional aspects to our wedding (queer, handfasting, pinata, guests wearing Halloween costumes, disabled bride) and she was so down with everything. She made sure to feature my cane in my full body shots and it genuinely made me tear up. The love and care she will bring to your wedding is worth every penny times 3. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and she was a HUGE part of that. Love you Carter <3
Carter is wonderful. She is so fun and makes you immediately feel comfortable in front of the camera. She gives direction without putting you in positions you’re uncomfortable with...
. She must be the world’s best hype woman because I have never felt as confident in front of the camera as I did with her. My husband also took great pictures, and he normally has the modeling abilities of a piece of cardboard (I love him dearly, but he is stiff). Carter made both of us feel comfortable, which allowed her to capture the essence of who we are and our relationship on camera. She also works quickly and efficiently getting photos back. I will recommend her to everyone I possibly can!
We are so happy we had the chance to work with Carter for our engagement and wedding photos. She is so professional and responsive. She made us feel more than comfortable in front ...
of the camera which is usually outside of our comfort zone. She was SO fun to work with and we will continue to recommend her to everyone we know looking for a wedding photographer. If you’re thinking about reaching out to work with Carter, do it!! You won’t regret it.
I can not say enough about Carter and what a phenomenal job she did capturing our special day. Throughout the entire process Carter was professional and was able to answer any (and...
all) questions I had. She was able to provide timelines and documents which helped our day run seamlessly. Most importantly she provided us with endless photos capturing the love of our day from start to finish. Without a doubt choosing her was one of the best choices we made when planning our wedding!
Carter was so great to work with! She was very accommodating when we needed to last minute change the date and location of our engagement shoot, and the photos turned out awesome, ...
so we knew the wedding photos would be great quality too... SHE. DELIVERED! Carter drove all the way up to Cleveland for our wedding, was efficient and organized, and was constantly hyping me up the whole day, making me feel so confident when I'm usually shy in front of cameras. We got our sneak peek photos within days, and our entire gallery was finished in about 2 weeks! They're so beautiful, even better than we were already expecting. Carter is an amazing, talented photographer and I 1000% would recommend hiring her!
We absolutely loved working with Carter for our Engagement and Wedding photos.
The weather during our first engagement shoot was cold and windy so she offered to schedule a secon...
d shoot where I could change into my second outfit (a dress) more comfortably. This helped ensure that we got so many pictures we loved!
Carter always brings the best energy to all of her shoots, and we had so much fun along the way. She provided 150 photos for our sneak peek just days after our wedding, and I'm obsessed with them all. I already know that we're going to love our full gallery.
I highly recommend hiring Carter for all your photography needs!

ed for. I was extremely impressed by her coaching, as she knew exactly what we wanted in our photos and how we could achieve that comfortably. She also provided all the high-quality photos for us within a day, which was definitely a surprise because we weren't expecting to hear back so quickly. Would highly recommend!
Carter was great! Easy going and really blended in while still capturing amazing photos! We are not photo people and she gave us everything we could have wanted and more!
Carter is your photographer if you want beautiful photos and want to also have a great time while taking them. I was initially drawn to Carter’s eye for color and for detail. She a...
lso proved to be a great communicator, professional, organized, and the best hype man. I can also confidently say Carter is down for anything to get the shot. We challenged her with an engagement shoot on moving motorcycles in the middle of a county road at dusk. Not only was she game but delivered the raddest photos.
We spent a lot of time researching and talking with different photographers in the area and we decided to move forward with Carter mainly because of her excitement about being a pa...
rt of our wedding. The sincerity in her voice along with her actions assured us that we were in good hands and that she genuinely wanted to deliver her best work for us.
My husband and I aren't huge picture people and we describe ourselves as pretty awkward in front of the camera, so working with someone that would assure us with good photos but not take us away from all the fun all night was really important to us. Carter did an absolute AMAZING job making us look like pros in front of the camera without taking us away from our friends and family. We also received our sneak peek SO FAST, which having several friends and family members recently get married, is literally unheard of. Having Carter be a part of our day was one of the best decisions we made and we recommend any couple who is getting married to look into working with her. My only regret is not having her for longer to snap more photos of us for the rest of the night.
Carter was very sweet and easy to work with. Showed up early for the wedding and worked with me to get all the important shots and really helped make sure everything went smoothly....
Can’t wait to get the pictures back.

lways a bit nervous. Carter had so many great posing ideas to help give him some pointers and flowed them into the poses we put together naturally. All of our photos turned out so amazing and I cannot wait to get them hung up on our walls! Cannot recommend her enough!
