I truly don’t know where to begin when it comes to describing how grateful we are for Carolina. From the countless details and decisions leading up to our wedding, to the church rehearsal, and finally the wedding day itself, she was there for us every step of the way. She is a dear friend to my sister, Catherine Prange, who also has worked closely with Carolina for her own business, so when it came time for me to plan my wedding, I knew I needed to have Carolina and I’m SO thankful I did! Carolina kept us organized, kept everyone on time, handled the things I simply didn’t have the bandwidth to handle, and somehow made everything come together seamlessly. There were moments during the planning process when I was overwhelmed with coming back to work from a military deployment, catching up on work, now making wedding decisions, and life in general—she helped me through my freak-outs and tears! Carolina was incredibly patient and kind through all of it. I truly felt like I could trust her when she’d tell me, “I’ll handle that,” and actually mean it. Being able to hand something over to her and know it would be taken care of was invaluable. On our wedding day, I was able to enjoy the moments that mattered because Carolina was behind the scenes making sure everything stayed organized and on schedule. If something needed to be handled, she handled it. She genuinely cared about us and about making our day everything we hoped it would be—and it absolutely was. She even surprised us with champagne waiting in our hotel room after the wedding. After such an emotional and incredible day, it was the sweetest finishing touch and another example of the thought and heart she put into caring for us. Carolina wasn’t simply our wedding planner; she became someone I trusted completely during one of the most important and sometimes overwhelming seasons of our lives. Her patience, organization, kindness, and genuine care made an enormous difference in our experience. a bit on yesterday I keep thinking about how incredibly lucky we were to have you by our side. From the very beginning of this process to the very last moment of our wedding day, you made me feel completely taken care of, supported and calm. No matter what was happening behind the scenes, you made everything feel effortless. Yesterday certainly had its challenges, in my job I know exactly what it feels like when it kind of feels like everything is going wrong and how stressful and overwhelming that is but every single time something came up you handled it with such grace, confidence, professionalism, and kindness. Not once did I feel like I needed to worry about anything because I knew you were taking care of it. I have dreamed about my wedding day since I was a little girl and I spent years imagining what that day would look like, hoping it would be everything I dreamed it could be. Yesterday was not only everything I had hoped for it was beyond my wildest dreams. It was the most magical, beautiful, joyful, and meaningful day of my life. I was able to be fully present for every moment to and soak it all and marry the love of my life was because of you. You carried so much responsibility yesterday but you somehow did it with a smile and a calming presence to making sure everything was perfect. There were so many moments throughout the day when I looked around and thought, “I never want to forget this.” Every bride hopes to feel supported on her wedding day but you went so far beyond that. You anticipated needs before I even knew I had them, solved problems before they reached me and protected the joy of the day. I know weddings don’t come together because of one perfect day it was months of planning, countless emails, phone calls, coordination, logistics, and an enormous amount of hard work. our wedding timeline and schedule, and helped us source vendors (like the flowers...which, WOW) that made our day truly memorable. Coordinating with all those moving parts is no small task - vendor calls to align on details, planning conversations with us, quick responses to all of our emailed questions. And when rain thew us a curveball on our day, Carolina didn't miss a beat as she already had a full rain contingency planned and made some seamless pivots in the moment! It was wonderful. It was perfect. It was our day, just as we envisioned it. Our goal (besides getting married!!) was to just throw the most fun party to celebrate with all of our friends and family. And I think we absolutely nailed it, thanks to Carolina. Our day was full of surprises that required a lot of planning, that Carolina handled so well...two locations (Arch Street Meeting House and Reading Terminal Market, with a parade between them). Some humor in the ceremony with the flower boy and the town crier. A cheeky pre-cocktail hour cocktail hour with beer brewed by our good friends. The MUMMERS (and a bit of rain - but the ponchos worked! and towels were used! And the tents provided mobile cover! All thanks to Carolina's ideas, planning, and execution!). And of course Reading Terminal Market being the beautiful, unique venue that it is. It was exactly what we wanted - a fantastic, big, fun party with some killer food, drinks, music, and dancing. We felt so loved, and we felt that from Carolina too. Carolina's warmth and kindness were so greatly appreciated. We got so many comments on how well organized everything was and how it was the most fun wedding (aka mission accomplished!). And that is a testament to Carolina's magic - all the work, effort, thought, time, energy she put in. And her boots on the ground team was fantastic too - bustling my wife's dress, at the ready with umbrellas, always on top of everything. Thank you to Carolina for everything she did. She was such an important part of our day and is absolutely wonderful. We would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone and everyone.

She handled everything like a pro (because she is!) and even was able to make an extra boutonnière on the day of the wedding when the florist forgot to make one. We worked with Carolina and her assistant Lori for our September 2025 wedding. They truly were wonderful. We opted for the 6 month plan because we had locked in all of our vendors ...

and venue very early and mostly needed help with running everything on the day of. Lori was the one who was actually with us on wedding day but worked with both her and Carolina leading up to it. They have exceptional attention to detail, years of experience in the wedding industry, they're very easy to work with, and are incredibly knowledgeable. On the day of, Lori kept us right on schedule despite us running into a few hiccups. She handled any issues we may have had, had an emergency kit that came in handy for my maid of honor, and truly was on top of everything! My husband and I loved working with both of these women and would highly reccomend their services. If youre on the fence, hire the wedding planner/day of coordinator!! I would not have been able to handle everything the day of on my own.

First - we could not have wished or planned or written the description of a better wedding planner than Carolina Hatton....literally there is no way to describe how incredibly depe...

ndable, responsive, knowledgable, comforting, and caring Carolina and her team are from start until the very last moments of the actual wedding reception. Second - Carolina's insights, tenacity in "fighting" for the bride's, groom's, parents' vision, expectations, and experience for the wedding day cannot be appreciated or articulated enough until you work with her. There is not enough emotions, words, positive energy I can possibly share in a glowing review to do Carolina and her team's value enough credit. She made the entire planning, logistics, and wedding day processes so relaxing, comforting, and experience just incredibly positive. It's rare that anyone would actually feel that "I wouldn't have changed a thing"....and we would not have changed one thing about this entire process. And the newlyweds came away from the wedding weekend still floating on cloud 9....and as the parents of the bride....we are too. Carolina far exceeded our expectations for what a wedding can bring a family. It's such a special moment in time that you can only hope that it delivers the best memories for a lifetime, and I sincerely believe that had we worked with any other wedding professional....it could not have reached the level where Carolina ensured it did for everyone involved...INCLUDING THE GUESTS. Every detail was planned far in advance, our expectations were set more than appropriately (and far exceeded), all of her suggestions about how, when, where, what we should consider for best possible outcomes were exactly on-point or far better than what we were imagining, and her command, knowledge, and reputation with all of the suggested vendors we hired....WAS AMAZING. The photographer and videographer....amazing.....DJ....PHENOMENAL.....florist and decor Artists....incredible.... As an example...we only found out about this after the reception - there was some internal miscommunication with the linen company (nothing to do with Carolina or the venue), and all the linens were delivered and placed on the reception tables completed wrinkled...like tin-foil wrinkled...Carolina called the owner of the linen company while we were gathering for the first look photos and had not clue what was happening...she called the linen company owner and got them to send a team of folks to return to the reception venue to steam and iron all the linens....and no one from the bridal party had any clue.....CAROLINA IS A TOTAL PROFESSIONAL and cares so much for the families' experience. I recognize this is a long review, but the gravity of a wedding, the overwhelming feelings that exist when thinking about all the work to plan such a seminal moment for your family....merits some long and hard considerations for choosing the quarterback for the event. In our opinion....LOOK NO FURTHER....seriously...stop reading and searching....get in touch with Carolina the hope that you're not too late to secure her and her team. ...and incase you're reading this and thinking this is too over the top....it is over the top sincere and filled with gratitude for Carolina and her team because she ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT for my daughter, new son-in-law, and both families. needed a push to make decisions quicker. Her design background coupled with her stellar reviews made her an attractive option. We had explored working with other planners, but after talking to her, we knew she was the one we wanted to work with leading up to our wedding. Teaming up with her was everything we hoped for and more! She saved us thousands of dollars (helping us stay within our budget) through her partner relationships and vendor recommendations, none of which were compromises on the products or services they delivered (all 5/5 stars). She always made herself available, was quick to respond, helped us make design decisions, offered us new (experienced) perspectives with our decision-making, and really coached us throughout the entire wedding planning process. She also wasn't afraid to flag when I was late on decision making (so appreciative :)) to keep things moving. Day of, her and her team were exquisite. Timing was perfect, they helped to quickly course correct when things went unplanned (ie- bustle breaking, photographer issues, etc.), and really took great care of us. More detail: We are a mixed race, and culture, couple and while wanted a 'straightforward' wedding, also were very particular on ensuring the things we cared about were extremely high quality, and our guests had an impeccable experience. Our experience with Carolina given the above stood out on a few dimensions - She provided very clear advice tailored to us (for e.g., even changed her initial recommendation on florists after learning more about what we wanted) - She didn't hesitate to tell us when something would not be worth it and/ or that we should reallocate spend to something else given what we were after - Her preferred vendors were superb and we enjoyed meeting all of them (and she had a good direction on shortening the list to what might work for us ) - Organized communications to a way that mattered for us (e.g., weekly touch-points to go over things) - Went above and beyond (e.g., helping my wife with flower and lighting, photo choice selections) - Found a way to blend aspects of our cultures where it made sense, given what we were after and to the point above, even came with us for food tastings for the ethnic food vendor (who was a real challenge) - Basically took care of all the process with grace, panache and professionalism We would recommend her to anyone - again mostly for the level of insight, advice she brings to both clarify your vision, focus your effort and make things happen even when it seems like it can't

Not only did she think of every small detail to help our day go smoothly, but her vendor recommendations and connections actually helped us save some money. Carolina worked with all of our vendors to create a foolproof timeline that allowed us to be able to relax, focus on each other, and enjoy our day with friends and family. Wedding planning can be overwhelming sometimes, but Carolina helped us make sure we were asking all the right questions at the right time. I learned later that there actually was an issue with a different vendor the day-of, however, Carolina immediately discussed with my mom and took care of business to solve the problem while ensuring I wasn’t worried about anything on my wedding day. She was so responsive and got back to all my emails in less than 24 hours (most of the time it was within just a couple hours!) She communicated with all our vendors, attended meetings with me at the venue, assisted with communicating with our transportation company, helped me created a detailed timeline for the day of our wedding, and attended phone calls with our photographer and videographer. Carolina also did a rehearsal with our wedding party prior to the ceremony and made sure all of our guests knew where to sit when they arrived to our ceremony. I hired Carolina to be a wedding coordinator for my backyard wedding. I work full-time in a demanding job and live across the country from where we were having the wedding. Leading...

up to the wedding, I found that Carolina mainly recommended vendors and assigned me tasks. Even though the tasks were listed on her contract for her to complete, I ended up doing a lot of them, and I should have been more assertive with her to get her to do some of them. The vendors she recommended were really awesome and well-priced, and the best part of her service! The week of the wedding she had a small but hardworking team, but, even so, my family ended up doing a lot of manual labor (putting out hundreds of chairs, tables, decor…). If I had known this, I would’ve hired more help. While she did visit our house a few times that week, her mind did not seem completely present because she had another wedding going on simultaneously on that Saturday. I didn’t find this out until the week of the wedding, which made me stressed. I think planners need to be transparent about if they have another event at the same time when you are hiring them. We had a lot of details, so I really needed a sharp helper that would stay up to date. The morning of the wedding I was so stressed and crying and ended up cutting orange peels myself with my bridesmaids for the cocktails and putting out center pieces in the rain myself. During the wedding, one of her assistants cursed at our guests while she was helping with parking and called them vulgar names, which was disturbing. Finally towards the end of the night, Carolina had an issue with my mother and ended up leaving the wedding early without letting me know. I would expect her to be professional and be used to complex family dynamics. It made me feel really sad. I think overall there was a lack of communication and connection, and my expectations were not correct. It may seem like there are a lot of 5-star reviews, but only a small fraction of weddings actually leave a review (true of most wedding vendors), so I am trying to help future brides see a real-world experience. Our wedding was still a dream for me with amazing vendors, hence I am still giving 3 stars.

Star reviews - I would say that says a lot about what my couples think of my services. You can’t please them all, I appreciate you taking the time to review my services. I will respond to some of your claims: You are correct, you hired me as a wedding coordinator, not a wedding planner, which means, you take care of planning your wedding and all the details in it, you inform me of those details and I coordinate “the day” of the wedding with vendors and everyone involved, to make sure all goes according to your plans. You picked the 6 months out package. Our communications started in July, 2022, your wedding was September 23rd. 2023, so 14 months before your wedding.I recommended the photographer, caterer, tent, bathroom trailer, DJ, rental company for seating chart, etc. Every email was answered in a timely manner. Yes, we had conversations every so often when we would go over the Checklist and I would tell you what to work on next, because, again, you were your own wedding planner. There were 2 things I was supposed to help and did not, finding the hotel (you had already found it when we started working) and the rehearsal dinner (your mom was in charge of it and you would let me know if she needed help), every other item in my contract was fulfilled and then some. You were having a backyard wedding! This must be said, because it makes a big difference between a regular wedding at a venue and a backyard wedding. I was there on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, of course. I was there to meet every vendor that delivered prior to the wedding day. On Friday, I paid 2 helpers to come help me install smilax to the tent, job that I was not part of my duties, but I offered as a courtesy to you. I ordered it, paid for it (you refunded the cost) paid for the help to installed it out of my own pocket. I was there when the tables were delivered and I was the one who moved them around till they were in the right spot. A company you hired, delivered rental chairs, they delivered them to the catering tent. On the day of the wedding “I” moved “hundreds” of chairs and the tables for the catering team. At one point, as I was moving the chairs, your father in law came into the tent and offered to help me, he moved “38 chairs”, I personally moved the rest. And moving chairs were NOT my responsibility, it was the rental company’s responsibility. Your mom wanted to put the centerpieces together, she had bought the flowers and wanted to add them to the lanterns, I was there while she did it, I was moving chairs, while she worked on the flowers. There were many decorating ideas that your mom had in her mind and I was never told, I was there, with my team of 3 assistants, helping them and doing what else needed to be done. By the time I left to the ceremony, at 3:30 pm, everything was in place for a cocktail hour at 5:30 and completely set for a reception at 7:00 pm. And I left 2 assistants behind as I took one assistant to the church. I did have another wedding on the same day as your wedding, I had a lead coordinator there with 2 assistants with her. I had nothing to do with it and was not distracted because of it, my company has had, many times, double weddings on one day. The other client knew, and accepted, that it would not be me but another team at their wedding. You did not need to know because I was with you, not one but 4 days, with my team, giving you my whole attention. I am sorry you cried in the morning, when I got there at 10:30 you were fine, so I didn’t know. I knew what needed to be done and it was done in excellent timing, mainly because I had done most of the work on the days before. I am not responsible for cutting orange peels, that was supposed to be the bartenders or caterers responsibilities, they are the ones licensed and paid to handle food. I was offended and insulted by your mom, still, I did not leave until one hour before the end of the night, everything had been done and had happened as planned. You were having the time of your life at the dance floor, so of course, I did not bother you. I did talk to your dad and made sure he knew I was leaving. In backyard weddings, since you are at your own house, many things are not “put in a car” as it would happen at a venue, mainly because you can choose to end the party whenever you want. So I compensate by working days before the wedding, instead of at the end of the wedding. You had a wonderful day! Even the “100% rain” offering did not happen. The place looked amazing, your guests had the best time, food was delicious and we were always on schedule if not ahead of schedule. I did not have an idea of you being unhappy about my services until you came back from your honeymoon and found out that I left one hour before the end. That was the first time I heard you being unsatisfied about my services. I am terribly sorry about that, had I known, at the time, that you were unhappy, I would have done whatever necessary to correct it!

She answered every single question I had (from helping book other vendors to questions with the marriage license) and frequently checked in to make sure we were on track with wedding to do’s. fiancé’s venue was a little “out of the ordinary”, and I knew that we would need some help in realizing their vision. As soon as I spoke to Carolina on the phone, I knew that she was the right choice for us. Her personality is warm and caring, and Carolina brings with her a sense of calm and assurance. From day one, Carolina was there for us, answering questions, giving guidance and suggestions, but still always listening to what was important to the bride and groom. Every email we sent (I’ve lost count), Carolina responded within minutes, day or night, weekday or weekend, even when she was out of town on vacation! She makes you feel like you are the only bride she is working with, she makes you feel like you are special! Carolina always made time for phone calls with us, and never made us feel rushed. We had so many questions, and Carolina answered every one of them; in fact, Carolina answered questions that we didn’t even know we had - she was always one step ahead in the game plan. Carolina thought of, and handled, every single detail of our wedding day, from early morning til last song! And her “team” is so nice and efficient as well. On top of all of this, Carolina is an interior designer by trade, so she has the added benefit of bringing creative design to all of her weddings! I chose her as a 3 month planner and day of coordinator which was perfect for me since I already had an idea of vendors I wanted to use. On our first call, before I has even hired her, she suggested to use Creamery Hill for my décor which was hands down the best advice I was given. Carolina is hyper organized, and she is extremely active on social media which I think is so important in this industry today. that helped tremendously. It was great to be at our wedding reception and not have to worry about when to cut the cake, first dance, mom/dad dances. Carolina and her staff would just come over and told us where we had to be. The day ran smoothly and was organized. I couldn't ask for anything more.
