I was supposed to get married here in August. Back in October or November of 2024 we heard that the place was being foreclosed on. We had not heard from the owners about the situat...
ion. When we reached out nobody would answer the phone. I reached out about our wedding and we heard nothing. We had already paid our deposit and everything. After months of not hearing from Carmons we finally chose to move to a different venue. Still to this day we have not heard from Carmons about our wedding day... They scammed us and took our money. I would not recommend getting married here.
Carmon's is an absolutely beautiful event space! We had our wedding here, and everything was amazing! The space is large enough to accommodate a big guest list, but still intimate ...
enough for great pictures and easy conversations during cocktail hour. The space is beautiful, has a great wide open industrial vibe, with beautiful lighting, exposed brick, and gorgeous tables/decor! The event coordinator Britney is extremely responsive, responsible, and easy to work with! She did an absolutely phenomenal job as a day of coordinator for our wedding, everything ran extremely smooth.
The building is under new management from CRS Hospitality, and we had a wonderful experience with them for our wedding! We had booked under the previous management, and CRS has been so much better to work with! They've updated so many things, including a huge new bar, new catering, in-house coordination, and importantly a very responsive and reliable team running the show! HIGHLY recommend!!
The owner was great and helpful durinf setup and pffered suggestions on the best way to utilize the space. The event manager Addyson was hands down the best person to work with. Sh...
e was great during set up and amazing the day of. She took care of everything and was ready to go to bat for me with any vendor if needed. She also had Britany help during the ceremony and part of the reception who was so sweet. Fluffed my dress before walking down the aisle and got me a drink when she could see I was overwhelmed. The crew of the venue was the icing on the cake!

sts, such as plenty of downtown parking, several large bathrooms, lounge areas, several options for layout/seating and a bar and kitchenette. Obviously the venue is gorgeous; everything looked so elegant against it’s many beautiful backdrops and the natural lighting made every photo look professional! Carmons gets our vote for the best venue in the Champaign-Urbana area!
