Carly and Tracy were our photographers for our wedding and they were nothing but professional, upbeat, easy to talk to, and incredibly efficient. Our wedding was in December, so it...
was chilly and windy, but they made sure to get great shots while doing it quickly so we weren’t outside for long. I loved working with them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing photographers!
Where to even begin... We received our wedding photos from Carly and are still in awe of just how beautiful and perfect they are! She has such an eye for the little details that ma...
ke your big day unique and special ; she captured the authentic, candid moments of our day along with all of our posed group shots with her eye for style and light. Carly was incredible to work with and always made me feel comfortable and a top priority, throughout all the planning months and especially on our big day. She handled our very large family shots splendidly and didn't bat an eye when we would come up with an idea and ask her if we could try it. Carly was creative with our shots and also kept a hint of the traditional to make for the perfect album. She was very professional and is oh so talented! We had so much fun throughout the day and I highly highly highly recommend her and her team as your wedding day photographer/s!
Booked Carly Short Photography for our outdoor wedding. We booked them on relatively short notice and they were a delight to work with! The photographer we were paired with, Trac...
y, did a fantastic job at the wedding keeping things on track. What meant a lot to me was seeing her excitement about photography and working with us. Her passion was clear from the beginning and she did all she could make a fantastic day even better!
Carly Short is an excellent woman and photographer. She has a unique style that I love. She was always so sweet, and so kind and Jake and I ! She felt like one of our friends, and ...
we felt so at ease around her! She does great work, and she gets the work back to you faster then I have ever seen !! We used Carly for our engagement pictures in Feb 2016 and we used her for our wedding pictures Oct 2016! We are very satisfied. Shes excellent, and I highly recommend looking into using her as your next photographer (:
Carly and her photographers did an amazing job with our wedding and our photos. We could not be more pleased with how the pictures turned out! Tracy and Brittany, the two women i...
n charge of our photos the day of the wedding, were extremely professional, yet fun at the same time. By the end of the day, they felt more like friends than photographers. They not only did a great job with us and our family and friends, but they worked with the 5 year old ring bearer so well throughout the long. They took every photo we asked for and had some great ideas that lead to beautiful pictures we'll have framed in our house forever. The warm and welcoming personality of Carly and her other photographers is one that is sometimes lost in this day and age. My wife and I are so thankful to have had such a great experience with a group of women who care so much about their job and their clients.
I can't say enough good things about Carly. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. Carly is professional, but at the same time makes you feel lik...
e you have been friends with her for years. I was worried I would feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Carly made sure that we were at ease the entire time. She will go above and beyond to make sure she gets the perfect shot. Other than choosing my groom, choosing Carly was the best decision that I made for my wedding day!
Carly and her team at Carly Short Photography did an absolutely incredible job with my recent wedding! After reviewing some of her work, it was clear to me that I needed her to do ...
my wedding. Her unique photojournalistic style seemed to capture something whimsical and romantic that you don't always see from your standard wedding photographer.
When we got our photos back I was blown away! She was somehow able to turn an "under construction" dressing room into a breathtaking studio, a retaining wall into a glamorous photo backdrop, a row of pine trees in to what appears to be a beautiful pine forest, and had a keen eye for photo locations that would produce photos more magical than anything I ever could have imagined.
Every time I look through our photos, it feels like I am reliving the moments that went so fast. Reviewing the pictures in order tells the amazing story of a day that was only imagined in my dreams! Our day was perfect and we will be able to relive that over and over thanks to the incredible work done by Carly and her team.
Carly and her team truly have a gift! Not only did they take great photos, they were also incredibly helpful throughout the day. Carly is sweet and kind but has an authoritative touch that allows her to corral and instruct people to get the photos that she knows are important to capturing the true essence of the day.
I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire Carly Short Photography! I would highly recommend this team to anyone! They are fun, professional, easy to work with, and deliver incredible results!
Carly did the most wonderful job photographing our proposal / engagement. From the beginning of the process, we was warm, receptive, and responsive. She was open to the idea of hel...
ping us execute our co-proposal and captured the moment more beautifully than I could have imagined.
I could absolutely not be more pleased! Nor could I recommend her highly enough!
I am very happy with my wedding photos. However, I do wish that Carly had been prepared with a few more indoor options, since it was pouring rain the day of my wedding.
Carly & team did an amazing job at my wedding in April 2013! She was fun, professional, and delivered great photos. As soon as we met Carly, she felt like a friend! She made us fee...
l so comfortable during each of our sessions. I want to cover our house in her photos because they are more like art work than your regular old wedding photos.
Carly got back to us every time I had a question for her…which was a lot! We met and reviewed where we wanted to go the day of, before then she did some "homework" at each of the sites, which made the day run so much smoother, because she knew exactly what she wanted to shoot and where we needed to go.
She is amazing to work with and I can't wait to give her a call when I've got another photographer need!!
Carly photographed our wedding and did a fantastic job capturing everything. We couldn't have been more pleased with the photos! Take a look: http://www.carlyshortphotography.net/r...

Carly also has a great personality and is just awesome to be around. She even pitched in to help with wedding set up at one point! I was also super grateful that my photographer was a cool, younger female with great taste, especially when she was photographing us getting ready. She was able to capture some great moments that an older, stodgier man wouldn't have. :)
By the end of the day, I felt like I'd known her for years. I loved everything about working with Carly.
I really cannot recommend her highly enough!
Carly and her assistant shot our wedidng on October 21, 2012. Simply amazing photos! Carly knows how to grab every.single.detail hands down. She is so awesome to work with, she is ...
prompt on getting back with you, she will meet with you on a moment's notice to go over any last minute deatails. I also had Carly shoot my boudoir pictures and they turned out simply amazing! I don't have enough good things to say about her! We chose to do the day after shoot instead of an engagement shoot. Carly met us at our house, helped us pick locations, she was super flexible with going anywhere we wanted. Any idea I had, she shot it.
All of my friends and family could not stop complimenting Carly's work! I highly reccomend her, if I could give her a 10 star rating on here I would!

o comfortable with her! She made it easy for us! She has an eye for creative photos, and that's what we were looking for when booking a photographer. Carly was extremely organized throughout the whole process. Her prices are very reasonable as well. You can see a big difference in the quality of her photos compared to other photographers in that price range. She was great to work with, and I look forward to her shooting our family photos once we start having kids. I will be recommending her to everyone I know, for all occasions!
Carly Short is very down to earth and brewing with creativity. It is her desire to make a story out of your special day with her photography. She was very flexible with our desires...
