Our venue didn't have the best lighting and my wife wanted photos while twirling in her dress. Casey was able to take photos that looked amazing despite this. She got every shot we were hoping to capture and even gave us some ideas we hadn't even thought about. Ended up being the easiest part of the whole day.

Choosing our photographer was one of the biggest decisions we made for our wedding, and we honestly could not have made a better choice. From the very beginning, she was so kind, easy to work with, responsive, and genuinely excited about our wedding. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and somehow managed to capture all of the little moments we didn’t even know were happening.
And the PHOTOS. They are absolutely incredible. We have been blown away by how beautifully she captured our day — the big emotional moments, the details we spent so much time planning, the candid moments with our family and friends, and all of the little in-between moments that we will treasure forever. There are so many photos that feel like us, and that was exactly what we wanted.

Hey there! I’m Casey, the face (and lens) behind Captured x Casey. I’m a Springfield, Missouri–based wedding photographer with a heart for real love, real laughs, and all those perfect moments that make your day yours.
After 17 years of teaching in public schools, I’ve learned a thing or two about people — like how to make anyone feel comfortable, how to find joy in the chaos, and how to stay calm and pivot when the schedule takes an unexpected turn. I bring that same patience, humor, and heart into every wedding I photograph.
