About this vendor
Hey, I’m Alyssa! My job is to capture the intimacy and beauty of love in all its forms, which basically means it's the coolest job. Telling real stories in beautiful ways is my jam! That is how I became a wedding and portrait photographer. I also happen to be a lover of both dogs and baked goods and I love to see the world.
Hiring your dream photographer is a big decision that goes beyond beautiful pictures. That’s why it is so important that you know how seriously I take not only my job as an
artist, but my responsibilities to my clients on the most important days of their lives.
I'm based in NYC but available for travel worldwide! Let's get to know each other!

Alyssa is incredible and so wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning process! My husband and I were thrilled with our decision to have her photograph our wedding day ...
in Washington, DC, and our engagement! Alyssa’s style of just enough direction to make sure the photos look good but otherwise capturing us how we are and how we naturally interact is perfect. On the wedding day, she expertly supported family photos with folks with mobility issues in ways that were easy for them to navigate but still resulted in seamless photos. Alyssa’s photos are really the perfect mix of the small moments that made our wedding day so special. Her superpower is capturing the essence of you as a couple and making it look so good! Importantly, Alyssa responds quickly to all emails, is extremely organized, and delivered all our photos quickly.
Alyssa is an amazing photographer. She is so kind and made us feel comfortable for both our engagement photoshoot and on our wedding day. We love all the photos and would highly ...
recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a photographer.
Having never done professional photos before we were hesitant on what we might look like on the other side of that lense but Alyssa and her team work actual magic in developing the...
most stunning photos we could have immagined for both our Engagement Photos and Wedding Day! She made us feel at ease and having fun throughout the entire process and is SO patient and helpful in getting you to look your absolute best while seeming completely natural in your environment! Her style is so incredibly timeless that emphasizes the environment you are already in and with such amazing angles and vantage points that we knew our photos were going to be great even as we were in the middle of taking them! She made our wedding that much more magical and we cannot thank her enough! Will definitely be coming back for more in the future!

Alyssa shot our engagement photos and wedding and it was easily one of the best decisions we ever made. We could not be happier with our photos (especially the ones she got with ou...
r dog which are the cutest). They're beautiful, intimate, and timeless. Alyssa is organized, responsive, flexible, professional, friendly and just a dream to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
WOW. I have no words for just how amazing Alyssa is! Alyssa was recommended to us by my sister’s wedding photographer, and we couldn’t be happier. Alyssa initially met us for drink...
s and appetizers in the city, and it immediately felt like we were friends. She’s so easy to get along with and really seemed to understand my husband and I as a couple. When it came time to plan our engagement shoot, Alyssa was on-board to brave the cold in November and help us recreate our first date - a picnic in the park. Alyssa was so great about including our two dogs in the photos as well. Her turn-around time for the engagement photos was less than what was promised in the contract, and we couldn’t wait to see her again for our wedding! Once COVID happened, we were unsure of what was going to happen with our wedding. Alyssa was not only flexible with our lack of new plan, but she was there to listen to us vent about our concerns with everything happening in the world. Ultimately, we decided to have a small backyard, immediate family only ceremony and push our big celebration with extended family and friends to 2021. Unfortunately, Alyssa is unavailable for our new 2021 date (her new couple is EXTREMELY lucky to have her!), but she was willing to make the trek out to my parents’ home in New Jersey for our elopement/micro-wedding. Alyssa arrived prepared with her mask and followed all social-distancing protocols. She made us feel safe, but we also felt like we were getting the exact same Alyssa from our engagement shoot. When my mom asked if she could receive a family photo prior to receiving the full file of photos, Alyssa didn’t hesitate to share an additional photo with her. Alyssa delivered our final pictures in well under the 6-8 weeks as stated in our contract, and there are too many amazing ones to choose from for an album! We’re so incredibly thankful that we found Alyssa!
My husband and I could not be happier with how our wedding pictures turned out. We received so many compliments from family and friends. These pictures captured our wedding day per...
fectly! Alyssa executed each shot I had requested for the day and truly captured them exactly how I had imagined. From getting ready with my bridesmaids, walking down the aisle with my Dad, pictures down by the water, and AMAZING lighting at sunset with my new hubby, she gave us everything we hoped for and more! Hands down will be recommending Alyssa to family and friends in the near future.
I don’t recall exactly how I stumbled upon Alyssa’s Instagram, but I am so glad I did! I loved her style and reached out to inquire about our wedding date immediately. Alyssa was a...
pleasure to work with from start to finish. She respected our decision to not do an engagement shoot, was flexible with pricing, and even met my fiancé and I for a drink a few months before the wedding so we could meet in person prior to the big day. Alyssa was so easy to communicate with during planning and on our wedding day she managed to check off everything on our shot list all while being professional, friendly and a calming presence.
AND HER PHOTOS. I knew from looking through her blog that her photos would be beautiful and real – exactly what I wanted for our wedding photographer. It was such a treat to get a quick preview of photos before we left for our honeymoon, and all her pictures from the day blew us away! We will cherish them always! Thank you, Alyssa!
We spent forever looking through so many wedding photographer’s websites. We were looking for someone who wasn’t afraid of color because we knew we wanted to have photos taken in a...
garden at our venue. We also wanted to find someone who didn’t overly focus on staged photos, but who would capture more natural moments. We also needed someone who truly made us feel comfortable because neither of us are very comfortable in front of a camera.
Alyssa checked all the boxes for us. She has a beautiful editing style and was able to really capture our venue and our day perfectly. She also has a truly lovely and easy going personality and was a delight to work with.
Alyssa is amazing at what she does. She is extremely organized and quick with communication leading up to the big day. We received our photos so quickly and absolutely love them. ...
Alyssa manages to capture the candid moments and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The photos are real and beautiful. They not over edited like I have seen with so many other photographers. She made the process of family photos quick and painless. I cannot recommend Alyssa enough! She is not only a fabulous photographer but such a sweet and kind person.
Alyssa is the BEST! My husband and I are in love with our wedding pictures - the lighting and colors are absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t have imagined better photos. We ended ...
up doing a first look after much discussion with Alyssa and it was the best decision! We were able to get all of our bride and groom, bridal party, and family photos done before the ceremony and had plenty of time to enjoy our cocktail hour and reception with SO many candid pictures to enjoy. Other than her work, Alyssa is just a joy to work with and really makes you feel comfortable in all situations. She takes lead (which can be hard when getting together a big family for a picture) but also gives you space to act yourselves. She also did great with our big fur baby during our engagement photos! We would absolutely recommend Alyssa to anybody looking for a photographer!

racting with couples and making them feel at ease in front of the camera, which we first experienced at our engagement shoot. She's open to suggestions and wanting to know what you may be interested in, as well as suggesting her own ideas. She also was very communicative, prompt, and understanding throughout the whole process. Everything about working with Alyssa on our wedding day was perfect and I'm honestly still in disbelief at our wedding photos. The chemistry that she is able to capture in special moments paired with her soft romantic style is truly very special.
I could not imagine sharing big love moments with my partner with any other photographer but Alyssa!
In 2017, she photographed me and my partner for 'couple photos' before we were ...
even engaged in NYC. She was eager to join us as we retraced the steps of our first date. THEN about a year later - we invited her down to where we live in Atlanta, GA for our wedding! Alyssa is the perfect mix of supportive outside eye and fly on the wall that you want from a photographer. She is always there to help if you need to know if your hair is weird, but has an amazing skill for capturing the priceless moments as they happen.

ollowing reasons:
1. She makes you feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera.
2. Her photographs speak for themselves - I cannot tell you the amount of compliments we have gotten from the wedding photos we have shared! They are timeless, beautiful, and capture the most special moments of the day.
3. She really listens to what you want, is very thorough, and works with you throughout the process to make it as seamless and stress-free as possible.
4. When we got our photos back - we were shocked at the amount of moments she captured! The day of felt like such a whirlwind - it was so nice to be able to look back and see all the little details again.
There are so many other reasons to recommend Alyssa - but the bottom line is she is amazingly talented, so easy to work with, and you will have the most beautiful photos to remember your special day with. Thank you SO much Alyssa!!
Alyssa was continuously knowledgable, helpful, and so talented through our entire wedding photography process. With the package we chose, we got an engagement shoot. I highly rec...
ommend couples to do this. It not only gave us the opportunity to get to know Alyssa, but it helped us feel comfortable being in front of the camera prior to our wedding day.
She captured our wedding day perfectly. Our photos exceeded our expectations in the best way. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who has experience, professionalism, and attention to detail - you will not go wrong with Alyssa. My husband and I are so excited to have these photos for the rest of our lives and so thankful that Alyssa was our photographer.
Alyssa should be the #1 choice for any NYC bride for two important reasons.
1. Alyssa's photographs speak for themselves - timeless, joyful, and a natural, non-intrusive depictio...
n of the most important day of your life. She has a wonderful way of allowing the precious moments to shine without directing them, producing them, or forcing you into any unnatural positions. I have borne unfortunate witness to some horribly intrusive photographers breaking up organic family laughs, tears, or even the bride and groom's first dance. You'll see Alyssa capturing every detail from the sidelines without ever noticing a lens in your face making you feel distracted from the importance of your day.
2. Something I didn't anticipate going in (you only get married once) is how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day. From location to location, interacting with your family members, and shining a light onto some of the most intimate 'first' moments with your new spouse. For this reason - Alyssa stands out head and shoulders above the crowd of NYC photographers. She is effortless to converse with, amenable to any situation, and a FUN addition to your crew of family and friends. She'll take charge in the chaos of Times Square AND make you feel beautiful and comfortable kissing your groom in front of everyone 10000 times.
I couldn't recommend her highly enough!

On a 1-10, she's a certified 20! AMAZING!

arth and personable so it makes the experience even better and more comfortable. Our engagement pictures came out stunning and you can tell she puts a lot of hard work into what you need and want. Give her what you want and she'll do it. She's awesome! I would recommend her to anyone! She was even cool with letting me schedule a rain date. She's very flexible! She responds back to you within minutes! She is also very well reasonably priced. I will recommend her to any of my friends that are engaged. She's truly an artist!
It's hard to even know where to start because Alyssa was a dream come true to work with. She was extremely flexible when it came to scheduling as we had to move around our engageme...
nt pictures date and time several times. On the actual day of our pictures she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed even though we were nervous. Most importantly, our pictures came out absolutely amazing. She got every shot that we asked for and more. We can't wait to work with her again on our wedding day!
