Capitol City Sound Disc Jockeys

loor busy all night long. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding day.

sts. We had such a fun time! The uplighting was perfect and made our reception look even better. We also had a photo booth, which was so much fun! They even had a purple background to match our wedding colors! Chris and Brenden were Awesome! Kept everyone entertained and dancing all night long! Highly recommend capitol city sound for all your DJ, uplighting and photo booth needs!

e the day great!

ently about our agenda and he was very responsive. The music choices given to him, and chosen at random all kept the guests dancing and having a great time. The sound quality of Capitol City's speakers was amazing. The equipment and preparation, Chris and his attention to detail made our wedding everything we could've dreamed of and more. We happily give Chris Leas and Capitol City Sound high praise for their effort and results at our wedding. Top notch! Cheers!

Highly recommend!

e got around to planning the music for our ceremony and reception, we were burnt out from making decisions, but Scott talked us through the process from the start to finish and provided us with amazing recommendations for music. He knew exactly the right questions to ask to help make the planning easy! The day of the wedding ran seamlessly and he kept people on the dance floor for the whole reception! I'm so happy with Capitol City Sound and you will be too!

everyone had. I recommend him to everybody!

t our requests and plans for the reception square away ahead of time. He played great music that had everyone dancing and having a blast all night! I couldn't ask for anything more! I was a little disappointed with the quality of the photo booth printouts, and I suggest requesting a sample before booking them for that service - maybe it was a one time thing. Otherwise, the photo booth set up was very impressive, they had fun props, and the photo booth attendant was very helpful.

ur song suggestions and catering to the crowd to figure out what kind of music our guests were enjoying the most. We planned our wedding from out of town and found it very easy to communicate with Chris beforehand. We had several calls to go over our music choices and timeline for every part of the day, as well as name pronunciations. I would highly recommend Chris and his company to anyone looking for a D.J.

or a rescue DJ. Capitol City Sound Disc Jockeys came in on a white horse and saved our day! We meet with them the same day we booked them and they were super professional and helped us think of things we never thought of for our day I am excited to have them be a part of our big day! Their price was also not crazy even though they knew we were in need. Thanks guys! ** After Wedding Review** Our 2 DJ's we had were great, every song was perfect!! It was great that we got lucky and had one Latin DJ and one American to help mix up the music that we asked for. Our guests didn't stop dancing and they didn't want the night to end once it was the end of the night! We were so happy! They are a must book! :)

and the first dance. However, it was easy enough to approach him and tell him it was time. His music was great and he was very flexible. He wanted your day to be the best it could be and that meant getting everyone out on the dance floor! Not to mention, his services come at a great price!

ur last minute adjustments in stride and preempted our suggestions/needs. At the wedding he was high energy and low maintenance. We pointed him to where his booth would be and he took care of the rest. He was so so easy to work with. 10/10 would use him again. Do yourself a favor and book Capitol City Sound DJs!

o kept the dance floor jamming all night!

opping all night long! I also had a few last minute song revisions, and specific requests, all of which he remembered. I would highly recommend them for your wedding!

d a pleasure to work with. Highly recomend.

e that the guests at your wedding are all engaged, playing from a variety of genre's and time periods. Chris met with us in person, as well as spoke with my husband and I on the phone in preparation for our reception. He was available to us whenever we needed him. In the months since our wedding we have had so many compliments about the reception and Chris himself. He was so personable and easy to work with. The song selection process is overwhelming no matter who you go with, and the detail that Chris goes through to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch is magnificent. I would absolutely recommend Chris Leas with Capitol City Sound DJs.

. We vetted many DJ options because, in our mind, they're one of the most important vendors. After all, the DJ controls the vibe/mood and schedule, for the most part, of the reception. We met with Chris Leas, one of the DJ's and owners, and it just felt right. And honestly, when it comes to choosing a DJ, sometimes that's all you have to go on. Sure there's pricing, but unlike a photographer or caterer, etc., you can't sample their work per say. With that, we booked Capitol City Sound early on in the planning process. As we planned and the months dwindled down, anytime I had a planning question or was looking for a recommendation, Chris was quick to respond and offer his help. Once it got close to the day, Chris sent us some forms to fill out - and I'm sure he got more than he bargained for ... Let's just say I had an extensive do-not-play list (ha!). What's more, he gave me his phone number and said I could text/call with any questions, requests, or concerns leading up to the day ... And I took him up on it! ;) I was texting him, no joke, with requests/do-not-play's day-of and he always responded with such kindness when I'm sure I was annoying him (ha!). When we arrived to the reception, Chris was right there to greet us. In fact, because it had been months since I'd seen him, I didn't recognize him at first and then felt so embarrassed when I realized it was our DJ that I gave him a big hug. Our day went off without a hitch really and as we visited and drank and ate everyone kept asking "how's it going," and I'd respond with, "Well, so far so good. We'll see how the DJ does; that'll be the icing on top or the nail in the coffin." And boy was it the icing on top - and then some! He played all our musts and somehow captured our eclectic taste of music while playing a crowd-pleasing range. What's more, my husband's family is from Argentina while I grew up in middle-of-nowhere Ohio. He somehow had the Argentine side singing along to oldies and country songs while my side found their selves trying to salsa (ha!). It really was everything I could have wished for and more. (He even noticed that I had underlined Britney Spears in the Artists We Like part of the form and did a Britney mash-up! Which, if you know me, was perfection.) Seriously, I think the only bad thing that I could say is that it wasn't long enough ... But, you know what they say, all good things must come to an end.

g sure the day went exactly as we wanted - and they were there to assist in any way possible. My husband sent a lengthy list of songs he hoped to hear that day and Scott nicely fit them in to his mix. Most of our guests weren't big on music or dancing (older crowd more enjoying catching up with friends and family), but that didn't stop a small group of us from totally enjoying the music and the dance floor. Scott was flexible and just wanted to make sure we enjoyed the day. Great job.

commend.

nd we wanted to find someone who would be flexible enough to use our suggestions but skilled enough to keep the party going without us having to get too involved. Chris met with us several times and helped us to plan the perfect reception (from cocktail hour, to our entry, to the first dance). We also used his lights which added a nice touch to our reception venue. He was timely in his responses and I would recommend him highly to anyone who wants a professional and polished DJ.

so many compliments about how much fun our wedding was and we believe we owe much of that to Scott. Two of my cousin's also used Capital City Sound for their weddings, which is why I decided to use them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

what we wanted. At the reception, he was excellent about keeping us on schedule and playing a good mix of music (including the songs we requested). I would definitely recommend Capitol City Sounds to anyone!

s was responsive, kind, and organized. Different from many other DJ services we looked at, the prices for Capitol City Sound’s services were clearly stated and explained on their website. The worksheets they provide really helped us in planning our music for both ceremony and reception. Chris was flexible as our plans changed, and was very accessible and reassuring in the days leading up to our event. Most importantly, Chris KILLED IT at the reception. We received countless compliments from our guests on the playlist and flow of the night (especially the Kesha mashup he put together). One of the organizers at our venue told us we had the highest proportion of guests dancing that she had ever seen at a wedding. At one point fewer than five of our 120 guests were still seated. We had a blast and our guests did too! I would highly, highly recommend Chris to my friends, family, and really anyone who needs a DJ ever.

e and advice. He read the crowd well and kept the party dancing. Thanks so much Chris!!

got back to us in a timely manner.

r for the entire night. He stuck to our timeline and fit in all of our special requests. Capitol City Sounds also provided microphones for our ceremony readers and officiant. We weren't looking for a "hype man" and really enjoyed Mike's quiet demeanor.

enres and songs and reading the crowd to figure out what kind of music our guests were enjoying the most. People who had NEVER danced in their life were out there having a great time. Both my husband and I love music and dancing, so choosing a D.J. who would do a fantastic job was very important to us. We can't thank Chris enough for making this most important part of our reception absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend Chris and his company to anyone looking for a D.J. He is professional, personable, kind, and meets with you before the day of to gauge exactly how you want the evening to go. Thank you, again, Chris and Capitol City Sound for making our reception unforgettable!!!

d and personalize his role in your big day! He asked questions that we hadn't even thought about and ensured everything would run smoothly and it absolutely did! My now husband and I had a lot of surprises through out the wedding/reception that Chris helped execute perfectly! The DJ plays a MAJOR role in a wedding and I couldn't have imagined it going any better! Thanks Chris!

ng to leave and stayed 30 minutes longer because the music was so good. We had a great time!!!

had every song that people requested. Sound was great! I would highly recommend!

view our songs and the order of events. He was even willing to help my husband pull off a surprise in the middle of the reception. Chris also played the music for our ceremony and provided our pastor, readers, and singer with microphones. I would suggest Chris and Capitol City Sound to anyone!!

great flow, a great countdown to NYE and great songs to keep everyone dancing. I would highly recommend them!!

to have music that we requested played but also to have the rest of the music be so good. My wife requested a special song to walk down the aisle to and they accommodated her request very well. Really helped to make the evening special and to help the event flow smoothly.

uests had nothing but great things to say about our DJ and we have Capitol City Sound to thank for that!

, I knew we had to use that DJ..which was Chris from Capitol City. Not only does he keep people dancing, but he also is professional, organized and so sweet! You will not regret going with them!

aw fit. (A lot of oldies were played that all ages could enjoy). He was very easy to work with and always followed up very quickly if I had any questions. They provide up-lighting too that really added to our ballroom. I would recommend his services to any bride!

These guys are super easy and comfortable to work with and go above and beyond to make sure everything is the way you want it. Chris DJ'd our ceremony and reception and everything was perfect! Thank you so much again Capitol City Sound!!

ator, so naturally the music/dancing element was extremely important to me and was a priority when it came to the wedding. Capital City Sound did an incredible job preparing for our wedding, creating a special mood for our ceremony, and making the reception a true dance party that everyone is still talking about! The transitions were smooth and all guests were fully engaged and enjoying the entire experience. Every encounter that I had with Capital City Sound was positive and stress free! I am so grateful to have had the experience to work with them! They are an all-around genuinely caring, talented and professional company. I would HIGHLY recommend them and hope that I have the opportunity to work with them in the future for a different life event!

sic inside and out, he followed the playlist, accommodated requests and in general provided exactly what we wanted at a most reasonable price. We definitely recommend him highly.

xceeded my expectations! They also did the music for my ceremony which was also fantastic! Chris did an outstanding job about keeping the momentum of the day going, and ultimately was more like coordinator of the evening then anything! The music quality and selection was perfect, Chris was extremely intuitive to what I was wanting, and very easy to work with. All of my guests raved about how fun the reception was, and I attribute that to Capital City Sound!

se there was so much fun being had!!! I had a very specific introduction that I wanted done and Chris hit it right on the nose! He had a fantastic playlist. Next to the food, which was also fabulous, Chris was the next thing I received many compliments about. He was very personable and made sure my reception was exactly what I wanted! Truly an amazing DJ and Person!!

esponsive via email, flexible, professional and pleasant. Chris S was our DJ at the wedding and he was fabulous; the music was very important to me and he was committed to providing everything I wanted. He didn't play songs on the "do not play" list, played the songs that we requested, and also honored guest requests. The wedding went great and our guests commented on how great the music was. Chris was also flexible and provided a few things that I hadn't really planned for (like my dad requesting a special song during his speech) and we really appreciated that. Also, the price was excellent and very reasonable for such great service. Overall I would recommend Capitol City to any bride and groom!!
