Capitale

lf is magnificent - the high ceilings, the lighting, the classic New York architecture all make this venue absolutely magical. The team at Capitale however, truly takes it to another level. They were there every step of the way, making wedding planning not just easy, but fun and enjoyable. Adam, the Director of Catering was beyond helpful in guiding our food choices, and guests haven't stopped talking about how amazing the food was. From cocktail hour to dessert, everything was delicious. Mike, the Director of Production helped us get the perfect lighting, going through every instance in every room possible. His attention to detail is incredible and the lighting really made this room come to life. David, the Maître D' ran our entire wedding seamlessly. With a 20 person bridal party, there wasn't a hair out of place. Finally, Claudia was there from the beginning. She made us feel like family, answering all of our questions any time we called or texted. She was professional, helpful and such a joy to work with. I honestly don't have enough good things to say about Capitale. From the venue to the team, it was a wedding I could have never dreamed of - and a wedding our guests ave continued to talk about week later!

bsolute perfection. The decor was exactly as I envisioned. The lighting was to die for (Thank you, Mike Alvarez, for creating the most stunning custom light setting for us!!) The food, service, attention to detail... everything went above and beyond our expectations, and believe me.. we had HIGH expectations! Our guests have not stopped raving about how jaw dropping the venue space is. How amazing and delicious and fresh the food was. How the staff were pleasurable and so attentive. David Segovia managed our timeline down to the minute. He was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Never did anything feel awkward, rushed or delayed. Never did we feel like he was pulling us in one direction or another. He is the reason why our cake cutting ceremony ended up being the most amazing moment that we have in our videos! Adam Hartofilis has a true passion for what he does and it SHOWS. From the moment meeting him, he was reassuring, excited, professional and truly an amazing person to trust your wedding date to. I cannot imagine our day evolving into reality without his influence. And last but not least.. Claudia Case.. what an absolute boss. She personally handled extensive communications with me whenever I had a question. More than once, I've hung up the phone to see that we chatted for over an hour about wedding details. Her advice, knowledge and experience in the industry will set your day up for success the moment you choose Capitale as your wedding venue. I cannot thank the Capitale family enough for making our dreams come true!! There is no other venue in the world that can compare!!

pstairs have plenty of space to get ready. The catwalk for our entrance into the ballroom was a huge hit. The lighting team there was great. David, Farrah and Claudia were so responsive leading up to the wedding making the whole process easy and enjoyable. Note that if you are having guests from out of town, pick a nearby hotel like Crosby Street, Broome or Trump that they can take a quick car service to, since obviously parking in Chinatown/Bowery is scarce. Its recommended to get a valet for the wedding!

dibly seamless. Between Larry Goldfarb and the maitre'd David, we didn't worry about a thing. We didn't use the caterer provided by Capitale as we had an Indian wedding, but Capitale's bar was amazing! All our guests were wowed by the waiter services as well. They are a well oiled machine over there! Definitely was the best decision ever!
