Plenty of hotels and Airbnb’s nearby for guests, but never heard any outside noise from anything not involving our wedding. We truly got to get away from everything and just focus on being with friends and family for the night.

e! The tall tree that was in front of the pavilion only blooms that time around in may so it was a nice touch to the venue with the beautiful white flowers! The transportation up to the waterfall was so organized and right on time. The staff took care of our guests and were so friendly!

g an event. The next day we called and the coordinator was extremely helpful! We had our ceremony at the waterfall and it was beautiful. Got so many compliments from guests and our pictures turned out beautiful! I would recommend this place to a good friend that’s how enjoyable the experience was! 

ith Sofia, who was so sweet and guided us through the tastings and building our timeline. The venue itself is stunning! We held our ceremony by the waterfall, and the golf carts made it easy for our guests to get to the ceremony site on the day of. Everything looked beautiful, and many guests told us it was one of the most gorgeous weddings they had ever attended! A few things we wish we had known in advance: We initially asked if we would need to hire a wedding coordinator, and the venue reassured us that their banquet captain and our DJ would handle the timeline and coordination. However, it became clearer closer to the day that their help mainly covered the reception timeline, and they do not help with other coordination's (such as guiding guests as they arrive, managing music cues, directing guests to cocktail hour, coordinating bridal party entrances, or organizing the exit at the end of the night). We ended up hiring a last-minute coordinator the day before, which was a lifesaver and made our wedding smooth! On the wedding day, the banquet captain was not very proactive in checking in with us, we often had to track him down ourselves. While he was helpful when we reached out, we would have appreciated more communication and guidance throughout the evening. Dinner service was a bit slow, with some guests waiting longer than expected for their meals. Traditional serving etiquette wasn’t followed, the children, bridal party and women were not served first, and servers seemed frustrated when men offered their plates to the women at the table first. It may have been due to being understaffed that evening, but it’s something to keep in mind. Regarding getting ready, there is only one bridal room on-site. When we booked, we were told the groomsmen could hang out in the bar area or rent the glass room next to the pavilion (for an additional $1000 fee), but on the day of, the bar area was unexpectedly closed and locked. This left the groomsmen in the pavilion area while vendors were setting up, and the bride and bridesmaids stayed in the bridal room to avoid seeing each other before the ceremony. It's also important to know that the venue only allows access starting at 3:30 pm (with our ceremony at 6:30 pm), which doesn’t leave much time for getting ready, photos, or relaxing before the event. We would recommend arranging another location earlier in the day for hair, makeup, and dressing, since they do not allow early entry or overnight storage of decor for liability reasons. We got an airbnb to get ready at which was very helpful! The venue staff does not assist with decorating, so a coordinator (or reliable helper) is important to handle setup and direct vendors. We also had a small hiccup with our cake vendor (unrelated to the venue), who forgot to add flowers to our cake before leaving. Thankfully, our amazing coordinator stepped in and got them to return to complete it (another example of why we strongly recommend hiring a coordinator even if the venue suggests it might not be necessary). Overall, we were so happy with how everything turned out; the food was delicious, the venue was breathtaking, and our guests had an incredible time. If they recommend Greg for florals, absolutely book him! He did a phenomenal job decorating the pavilion and truly brought our vision to life. We would 100% recommend this venue, but we highly suggest hiring a professional coordinator to ensure everything goes smoothly and so you and your wedding party can truly enjoy the day stress free.

ract and then met with the Venue Coordinator Sofia who is also amazing! She was so prompt with any questions/changes I had. She's who you have to most contact with. Closer to the wedding we were handed over to Ben the Banquet Captain who helped knock everything out of the park making for a perfect day. The biggest 'stressor' I had at the beginning was the access to the venue being three hours before. I was so pleasantly surprised when then added The Glass Haus which are air conditioned areas outside the Pavilion to use if you need to get ready (they supply yummy snacks and drinks too). It is at an additional cost but you get access earlier which I felt was needed for my coordinator to do her job and it allowed a space for the ladies to wait/touch up makeup, while the men got ready in the multipurpose room. They have two beautiful waterfalls you can choose for your ceremony that look like the most magical forest-y setting. Guest get transported by golf carts which was a fun little surprise for guests. They do require you use their food and beverage but its DELICIOUS and they have many different options to choose from to fit your vibe. I cant rave about Canyon Springs enough! Go check out this amazing venue! After you see it, you wont be able to pass it up :)

ily and friends. Getting married is an emotional moment, but the pure beauty of nature that the small waterfall location provided created the perfect setting for us to say I Do. We had quite a big wedding set up with over 5,000 stems of flowers and all of the staff and team were so accommodating. Everyone loved the omelette station and the courtyard was so perfect for our outside brunch reception. Love this venue!!

professional yet friendly. The grounds were incredibly accommodating, providing a stunning waterfall backdrop for the ceremony that was truly breathtaking. The live Longhorns are a hit for guests to see, as well as, the friendly dear that made an appearance at the ceromony also. The guests loved it. The catering was also delicious, leaving guests raving about the food. Overall, this venue made for a perfect wedding experience for my Bride & Groom.

. We had our reception in their pavilion which was the perfect size for our wedding of about 160 people. Caitlin was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions throughout planning. The staff on our wedding day were mostly good. The bartender we had outside was great! The food was good and we did not have any complaints from guests. One of the only things was that we felt like there was lack of communication between the person that helped us with planning the wedding to the person in charge on the day of the wedding. There was a few details on the contract that were not totally fulfilled on our wedding day. Additionally, brides please not that the getting ready room is a multipurpose room. It is not the best place to get ready; it is quite dark. It’s not super spacious either and there’s only one room so the bridesmaids and groomsmen had to share. We all ended up mostly getting ready off site due to this. Additionally, they only include 3 hours prior to ceremony start time to access the venue. This leaves limited time for setting up, pictures, etc. We hired a day of coordinator because of this.

Subsequent meetings were with Caitlin, who again, was so very helpful and patient with our abundance of questions. As the wedding gor closer, we met Josh, who would be there to coordinate the day. He brought details up that we didnt think about. Another professional and someone who also eased the stress of the day. I can't forget the golf cart drivers who transported the guests to the waterfall, and back to the reception. They were all friendly and courteous. The layout for the cocktail hour was wonderful. We received many compliments on the appetizers and the main meal. The servers were very efficient and everyone was warm and hospitable. There was plenty of room outside the actual clubhouse for guests to mingle. Overall, it was just the very best day, and what was so special, was that so many of our guests complimented the venue, and wedding itself. Everything ran smoothly, without a problem. I would highly recommend Canyon Springs for any event.

(Perfect for local couples who don’t want families to have to drive too far or get hotels!) We chose to get married at The Oaks Waterfall- it was more secluded and off the course. The greenery was so lush and romantic. It created most enchanting vibe, and that’s exactly what we were going for. The best part of the venue was working with Caitlin. From our first tour with her, she was the kindest and most patient person. She answered every question, email, phone call, and worry that we had. We seriously had minimal stress because of how helpful she was during our entire planning process. We love Caitlin so much! The hardest part of the day ending was knowing we wouldn’t be seeing each other as often. She really feels like family to us! Lastly, the food was incredible. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the London broil- so so good!!! Future wives and husbands, don’t even hesitate, book this affordable venue for your wedding!!

They had golf carts at the ready to take our guests on beautiful hill country drives from the ceremony cite (The Oaks Waterfall) and back to the reception hall. When my grandfather got too hot, they had ice cold water Bottles at the ready. Their dream-like landscape also saved us a ton on decorations! If we had to do our wedding all over again, we would get married again at Canyon Springs Gold Club!

wedding, scenery was a beautiful, the only thing that really stressed me out was not being able to find the banquet coordinator, Chi. I felt like I was running like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to direct vendors where they needed to be to set up, also trying to incorporate my decorations. They also only gave us 3 hours to set up the reception area. SO yes, I would definitely hire a group of wedding planners/coordinators of your own to help with those things. I just wish I had more help and If I had known this I would have hired experienced coordinators for the day. I also got an email from a man named Craig on the day of my wedding saying that the groomsman were on the golf course bringing in beer from the outside, and we would be kicked out if it happened on the day of wedding. That was super rude to do that to the bride on her wedding day. I did not appreciate that at all and it made me feel even more stressed. I totally get it, but call the groomsman not me. They also don't have a Grooms Suit which they told us the guys can use the bar area to wait until ceremony starts, but they kicked the guys out because there was an event going on in there. They could have let us know that. It was just terrible they had to wait outside in hot sun until the ceremony started. I definitely don't feel like the staff was motivated to be there. One of my bridesmaids saw the roof leaking water and one of the staff members said, "oh well, it'll stop on its own" So it was just a bunch of hiccups like that, that I didn't really appreciate on my wedding day. But the place was nice, scenery beautiful, but definitely hire your own experienced Coordinators for sure!! Thank you, Canyon Springs for the great day.

nd flexible with meeting schedules. The venue was incredible, and definitely a hidden gem. I visited 13 wedding venues in central Texas area, and this was by far the most affordable venue with catering packages included. Keep in mind that this venue restricts all food, snacks, drinks to their in house catering service only. But the food and drinks were spectacular! We had family from out of state comment on how yummy everything was! We also were given a complementary round of golf with our wedding package which my parents loved! The waterfall backdrop is extremely beautiful and they're venue offers microphone/Sound system so everyone can hear the ceremony. Plenty of shade during the hot summer months and wedding guests loved getting to be chauffeured by golf carts to the ceremony site. Cannot recommend this venue enough!

lin Flores was our bridal coordinator she pretty much let up decorate however we wanted, our appetizers and food was outstanding, we’ve had people tell us it’s the best food they’ve had at a wedding. Catlin made our wedding amazing, I would do it all over all there at Canyon Springs.

She met with us like a dozen times to go over tasting, linen, layout etc. Chi, did our final appt a week before and was so polite and helped us decide on the final layout. Timing is everything. We booked for the last weekend in October and the weather was amazinggggg! Everyone raved about how it was a unique experience to arrive and get placed on a golf cart. It made for fun conversation. I mean, and where where on earth can you go and find a waterfall? In Texas? I wish I could relive this day over and over. Me and my husband look at our pictures and we truly had the most amazing day. Caitlyn, the event coordinator, was always friendly and professional. She was prompt to respond to any questions that came up through the planning process. was always easy and stress-free. Caitlin and Brenda always answered phones and emails promptly. The venue itself is beautiful too! The main waterfall was the perfect place for our ceremony. The ONLY thing that I can nitpick about the experience was that the sound system wasn't set loud enough at the waterfall so no one could hear us because the water is too loud. This was a minor issue and didn't take away from how amazing the day was. If you're on the fence about this place I would encourage you to book with them! They will ensure your special day is everything you dreamed of!

e were planning our San Antonio wedding from Western NY and they could not have been more helpful as we were planning from afar. The food was incredible, the venue is gorgeous, and the staff are top notch. Our day was an absolute dream come true AND the planning process was as stress-free as we could have asked for. I would give this venue 10 stars if I could!

We received so many compliments on the entire venue from the waterfall ceremony to the reception site. My only negative was the bartender. I had attended a wedding back in May at this location and I noticed that issue then. It was discussed with the director prior to my event. Her attitude towards my guests and myself was not appreciated. That was the only complaint I heard from any of our guests. Also, there was only one bartender for 60 guests which left people waiting a while for drinks. Other than that, everything was perfect!

by 6:30pm. It was truly a miracle day …. Chi and her staff did an awesome job considering it was pouring down rain ALL day. They managed to move our ceremony to the large waterfall about 2 hrs before ceremony time because our original site was too muddy. The sun was shining and it was STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT!!

When setting up table decorations that we brought, the event staff helped put everything out. Chairs and tables were already in their places by the time we arrived. The venue looks great as well! If you have the opportunity I would recommend getting pictures by one of two waterfalls they have on site. You can also have the ceremony there as well! We were originally hesitant about not being able to bring in outside caterers, however the food options blew us out of the water! Everyone loved the au gratin potatoes and everything got a thumbs up from our guests. Fantastic night!
