Planning a wedding on top of Aspen Mountain comes with so many logistical layers, and I was also a bride who cared about every detail and had a very specific vision for how I wante...
d everything to look and feel. Heather understood that from the beginning. She never tried to turn our wedding into something that wasn’t us — she listened, understood what mattered to me, and helped us figure out how to actually make it happen.
Calluna also planned our welcome party the night before and it was such a great start. Everything went smooothly, and they worked so well with all of our vendors throughout both events. There were honestly so many things happening behind the scenes that Mark and I never even knew about, which I think is a huge part of why we were able to enjoy the weekend as much as we did.
There were a few things with the florals on the wedding day that I wasn’t happy with, and Heather really did her best to step in, keep the situation from getting worse, and fix what could still be fixed. I really appreciated There were a few things with the florals on the wedding day that I wasn’t happy with, and Heather really did everything she could in the moment to address it and keep it from becoming a bigger issue. I appreciated that she never dismissed how I felt and immediately focused on what we could do about it.
At the end of the day, we got to be fully present and enjoy our wedding without worrying about everything happening behind the scenes. That was exactly what we needed from our planner. Thank you Heather, Noe, and all the Calluna Event team for taking such good care of us
Hiring Gabby through Calluna Events was easily the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process! We would choose her again in every single lifetime!
When I started...
planning our wedding, I was a confused, overwhelmed mess. Undiagnosed ADHD and OCD, a plethora of major life changes, and a complete lack of knowledge about weddings led me down a 6 month tunnel of anxiety-fueled task paralysis. When we finally attended our inquiry meeting with Calluna, I felt my stress lift for the first time. Gabby’s confidence and professionalism were instantly reassuring, and gave me the first true bits of excitement about the wedding planning process!
Gabby is genuinely the most organized, professional, and supportive person to have on your team! Her expertise is immediately apparent, and her creativity, patience, and problem solving skills are truly unmatched. In our first meeting with her, Gabby said that she could get us anything we wanted - even an elephant - and I absolutely believe that she could have!
As a busy bride from out of state who wanted a luxury Met-Gala themed wedding (and had never actually been to a wedding), I had to put a LOT of trust in Gabby to help execute my dreams. I constantly ran to Gabby with extraordinarily non-traditional ideas and a very specific vision of how I wanted the weekend to look and feel, and she handled every single challenge with ease. From commissioning massive paper mache flowers and helping brainstorm a custom step and repeat backdrop that doubled as a seating chart, to managing a plethora of vendors including live musicians, a painter, and a live tattoo artist, there is truly nothing that Gabby couldn’t handle. In the month since our wedding, I have learned that she even managed multiple issues during the wedding weekend without ever adding stress to my plate or even making me aware.
On top of being PHENOMENAL at event planning, Gabby leads a masterclass in being supportive of her couples. She was incredibly kind and empathetic when we navigated a major family emergency during critical parts of the planning process, and helped us adjust when a groomsman pulled out of our wedding less than a month before the event. She also demonstrated some of the most flawless de-escalation and conflict management skills I have ever witnessed (trust me - this is necessary lol).
Throughout the planning process, Gabby truly became one of my most trusted and cherished friends, and having her by my side on wedding day was the most grounding, comforting presence. Gabby’s extensive experience and staggering competence are evident in everything she does, and allowed me to trust her wholeheartedly to run our wedding weekend the way I would have.
Our wedding was everything I could have ever dreamt of, and that is entirely due to Gabby and Calluna as a whole. There will never be enough words to express my gratitude for the beautiful job they did!

Similar to the other reviews, I'm a bit at a loss for where to start on describing my experience working with Heather and Calluna. Heather and I began working on my winter wedding ...
at Devil's Thumb Ranch about a year ago and we celebrated this past weekend - everything was a huge success.
I didn't consider myself a big 'wedding girlie' and started out a bit hesitant on investing in the weekend. Everything changed when I asked Heather if it would be possible to book my (now) husband's favorite Bluegrass band, the Stillhouse Junkies, as a surprise for the Welcome Dinner, which she was able to do in ~1 week. From there, Heather worked with me on creating an intentional celebration for our ~87 guests. We didn't spend money for its own sake, we instead created an experience that delighted our friends and family and made them feel taken care of. Heather was so deliberate and thoughtful, and made sure every detail was explored and executed perfectly (down to the hot toddy bar before the ceremony!!). Her list of vendors were all excellent and they all love working with her and with Calluna. Heather is a premier event planner in the Mountain West and she was able to translate our love for Colorado into the celebration.
Heather made our wedding happen in a way that I didn't think would be possible and throughout, she held the perfect mix of professionalism and fun. She let me concentrate on the parts of the wedding that were important to me, while making sure that everything else didn't go off the rails. I am so grateful to her and to the Calluna Team for making our day such a wonderful experience. Our friends and family thought the day was perfect, and so did we.
We came to Heather and Calluna only having chosen our venue, and Heather made everything else seamless. From the vendor selection, working within our budget, to the wedding mood bo...
ards, to the small details and day of logistics we couldn't recommend anyone more, especially for remote mountain weddings. September weather in the mountains can be tricky, and Heather made sure nothing skipped a beat, giving us full confidence that we didn't need to worry about anything since she had it covered. Even our families couldn't stop raving about the amazing job she accomplished given the ever changing mountain weather with our outdoor ceremony. Bottom line, Heather is an expert wedding planner and you won't go wrong having her plan your mountain wedding.
Working with Calluna Events was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We worked with Gabby and from start to finish, they were organized, timely, and incredibly ...
professional, which gave us so much peace of mind throughout the planning process.
What stood out most was how they made the entire day feel calm and smooth. Weddings can be stressful, but they created an atmosphere where everything flowed effortlessly. I never once felt rushed or overwhelmed, and that’s because of their thoughtful planning and execution.
They also never made me feel “crazy” for changing my mind about something (which happened more than once!). Instead, they approached every change with patience and understanding, always providing every possible option so I could make the best decision. That flexibility meant the world to me.
Calluna Events has an incredible ability to take beautiful visions and bring them to life. Every detail was stunning and exactly what I had hoped for. Their creativity and attention to detail are unmatched.
On the day of the wedding, they kept everything organized and running with so much ease that I was able to truly enjoy every moment. Their strong partnerships with so many amazing vendors made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free. It’s clear they have built a network of trusted professionals who share their commitment to excellence.
If you’re looking for a team that will not only plan your wedding but also make it feel effortless and joyful, Calluna Events is the one. I can’t recommend them and Gabby enough!

ng, Heather and her team ran the show with expertise and grace. During the entire planning process, we felt like we were Heather's only client. She responded promptly to all emails and requests, brainstormed ideas with us and gave invaluable advice. She listened to our vision and created exactly what we wanted. She saved us money and time by knowing the skills and styles of the available vendors and picked those who matched well with us. Heather and her team were there with us every step of the way, including on our big day(s). Heather even helped me fix a wedding dress wardrobe malfunction and talked me down when I started to panic. When a thunderstorm unexpectedly tore through our venue right before the ceremony, Heather was able to think on her feet and quickly moved the chairs and guests into the tent, all while making sure everyone still had drinks and appetizers. When the thunderstorm abruptly left, Heather seamlessly moved the guests back outside to enjoy the ceremony and the beautiful rainbow.
Hiring Calluna Events was the smartest decision we could have made. We are forever grateful to Heather and her team.
I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Calluna, specifically with Gabby. After our first design plan meeting, it really felt like Gabby knew us better than w...
e knew ourselves! At one point, I said to Gabby, "You can plan the rest of this wedding, just tell me where to be and when, and I know it will be the most beautiful wedding of my dreams."
She provided such thoughtful vendor recommendations that perfectly matched us as a couple. You can tell Calluna really fosters connection and partnership with its vendors because every single one just gushed about how much they adore her! She has an incredible eye for detail and was instrumental in all the meetings with our vendors. One of the compliments we get the most from our wedding is that it felt like no detail was left unattended. Gabby really made our wedding weekend the easiest, least stressful weekend of our lives. Our entire weekend would not have been 1/100th of what it was without her. We truly could not have done it without her. To sum it up, Gabby made our dreams come true, and we are forever grateful for her. If you're looking to have a planner and a friend, work with Calluna and Gabby.
A HUGE thank you to the amazing team at Calluna Events!
They planned and executed our dream wedding weekend flawlessly! As an out-of-state bride and groom, we had no idea where to ...
start. Choosing Calluna was the best decision we made. Heather connected us with an incredible group of professional vendors who matched our vision perfectly. Throughout the planning process, the team was responsive, organized, and so helpful every step of the way. Wedding day went off so smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and were able to fully enjoy the day. Heather and her team were professional and detail-oriented, but also so friendly and easy to work with. We’re beyond grateful for everything they did to make our wedding so special and memorable!
Calluna Events was incredible in every way! We hosted a wedding weekend in Golden, CO with a Littleton, CO wedding of 115 guests from around the globe. From start to finish I knew ...
we were in great hands. Gabby was prompt with communication, answered my many questions with ease, and helped ensure an amazing weekend. She was organized, insightful and very helpful in attending venue visits and mockup viewings and all vendor calls with us.
Working with Calluna was the best investment we could have made for our wedding planning, knowing we wouldn't have to worry about a single thing during the weekend, or leading up to the event.
I HIGHLY recommend Gabby and Calluna Events for all of your event planning needs!
Hiring our planners was the single best decision we made for our wedding. From the very first meeting, we knew we were in the best hands. Being based in Colorado, we relied on them...
for almost everything—vendors, design ideas, timing, logistics, you name it—and every recommendation they gave us was absolutely perfect. They truly understood our vision, elevated it, and then executed it flawlessly.
What makes them so special is not just their incredible organization and attention to detail, but the way they balance it with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. They were unbelievably responsive, proactive in flagging things we hadn’t even considered, and always came to us with thoughtful solutions. We trusted them completely, and because of that, we were able to actually enjoy the entire planning process and wedding weekend without an ounce of stress.
Throughout the weekend, they went so far above and beyond that our families and friends are still talking about them. When our photographers’ truck broke down, Gabby immediately stepped in, driving them around personally while still juggling a hundred other moving pieces. When we decided last minute to add an extra event, they seamlessly made it happen, as though it had been on the calendar for months. And when the night ended, they not only collected all of our belongings, but also realized the key to our condo didn’t work—so they found us at the after-party for another, decorated our space with flowers, organized everything beautifully, and then came back to hand-deliver the key. That level of dedication is beyond anything we could have imagined.
They were the calm in the chaos, the glue holding everything together, and the magic makers behind the most perfect weekend of our lives. Their creativity, professionalism, and sheer ability to multitask while making it all look effortless is unmatched. Every guest, vendor, and family member felt cared for because of them.
Most importantly, they are just incredible people. They treated us like family, and it never once felt like we were just another wedding on their calendar. Thanks to them, our wedding wasn’t just well-run—it was joyful, meaningful, and full of heart. And we left the weekend with 2 dear and special friends in both Heather and Gabby.
If you are even thinking about hiring them, stop thinking and just do it. They will be your advocates, your problem-solvers, your cheerleaders, and your miracle workers. We are forever grateful, and we cannot imagine our wedding without them.

eone I would consider a friend and delivered our dreams and vision into a stunning reality! We truly could not be more grateful.
What sets Heather and her Calluna Events team apart is not just their impeccable organizational skills, but their wonderful communication. No question was too small and no concern went unaddressed. Heather was always (and I mean always) there to reassure us and we felt supported every step of the way. I feel so lucky to say that our entire planning process felt seamless, which we all know is no easy feat.
Heather's calm and confident demeanor was such a breath of fresh air and helped me stay calm all the way from the planning up until the moment I said 'I Do!'. Somehow, Heather has perfected the balance of providing encouragement and expert advice, allowing us to enjoy the journey rather than feel burdened by it. The partnership we shared truly felt like the most special collaboration - as an Interior Designer, it was so fun to be involved and work together as a true team to create the vision for our wedding day/weekend. Heather deeply cares about her clients and I felt like she had my back and best interest the entire time!
Heather also did a tremendous job with vendor recommendations and coordinating our multiple vendors to execute our vision PEFRECTLY! Everyone was truly on the same page and every detail was handled with precision. On the big day, no detail was left unnoticed. The day went so smoothly. Even if there were any hiccups, we did not know about it because Heather is such a professional at what she does! To us - our wedding day truly was perfect and we couldn't have asked for more. Heather and all the vendors exceeded our expectations and dreams.
If you're looking for someone who combines professionalism with warmth, vision with precision, and truly cares about you as an individual - look no further! We are forever grateful to Heather and her team for the memories they helped us create <3

e without them and we're so grateful! From the entire planning process, every detail, even to setting up our room the night of the wedding the entire team were so amazing. They ensured that the entire day went smoothly and took so much of the stress and worry away. The entire team will always hold such a special place in our hearts and we'll always have them to thank for making our wedding so amazing!
We could not have asked for a better wedding planner to work with than Calluna Events! Heather and her team made the entire experience so memorable and fun. They were professional,...
detail-oriented, and communicative throughout the whole process.
I can’t imagine how we would have navigated the complexities of a destination wedding without Calluna’s invaluable experience and impressive organizational skills. From providing lists of amazing wedding vendors to detailed timelines, Heather’s expertise and organization allowed us to truly enjoy the process, knowing that Calluna had thought of everything to ensure a smooth and stress-free weekend. There was one small hiccup on wedding day that we didn’t even learn about until after the wedding. One of the other vendors had a health emergency and was not available to install the seating chart wall and bar vinyls. Rather than worry us with this unexpected problem, Calluna’s team jumped into action to install everything themselves!
It is clear that Calluna is highly respected in the industry and maintains excellent relationships with other wedding vendors. Everyone worked together exceptionally well to create an amazing wedding weekend! The wedding vendors genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs and cared that our weekend was a success.
I highly recommend Calluna Events to create a special and unforgettable wedding experience! You won't be disappointed. We were sad that our time with Calluna ended with the wedding. I wish we had another daughter so that we could work with Heather and her team again!

th a depth of professional experience and a keen eye for event design. Our wedding weekend at Devil's Thumb Ranch could not have been more perfect and that was due to her planning expertise and the support of her team at Calluna. Gabby took the time to understand us as a couple and created an event that truly reflected us. She recommended top-tier vendors, from music to florals, and she did not miss a single detail throughout the year-long planning process. Gabby knew when to let us take the lead on decisions and when to offer more guidance. We took her recommendations on many details and are so glad we did, because the overall effect was so cohesive and beautiful. We never felt pressured to make decisions that didn’t feel true to us, and she was endlessly patient when we went back and forth on minute details. When it came time for the actual wedding weekend, we were able to relax and enjoy all the time with our family and friends because Gabby had everything handled. Our wedding was a beautiful, jubilant celebration that moved seamlessly from one element to the next. Multiple guests commented on how effortless yet organized the weekend felt, and more than one noted Gabby as an exceptional planner. We are deeply grateful to Gabby and Calluna for such a spectacular wedding weekend, and we give them the very highest recommendation when it comes to planning any event that holds special importance in your life.

ght. To say my wedding was the best weekend of my life even feels like an understatement. I met Heather while she was putting on a different wedding and she was so gracious and kind to everyone around her, I was instantly drawn to her warmth, talent and gentle way of commanding and leading a team of people. I knew she was my first and only choice for my wedding planner when I was getting married about a year later. Once we were locked in, the planning process was seamless and I immediately felt at ease, which is not only easy for me! She handled everything, thought of everything and made the process so incredibly easy. The weekend of the wedding everything went off perfectly, not a single thing I could say would improve the weekend and the events because they were all absolutely perfect. Heather kept us organized and on schedule and it all went off without a hitch! Her pre-weekend to do lists and planning helpers made a world of difference. I truly cannot recommend Heather & Calluna Events enough. Everything they touch turns to gold and you are in the best possible hands. For every event for the rest of my life, I will chose Calluna Events and Heather!

le, detail oriented, and fun to work with. Our wedding weekend went perfectly with Lindsay’s detailed timeline and direction, and we also loved all our vendors which she had recommended. Lindsay and Calluna really made our wedding vision come to life and we’d 100% recommend.

ld not have asked for a better experience! She was very responsive, organized, and truly understood our vision. It was amazing that Lindsay had worked with so many vendors in the industry before, so she was able to steer us toward vendors who would fit our vision for our wedding day! She paid great attention to detail and offered honest opinions when we had questions about price/value of certain items. With busy work lives, we needed someone to handle a majority of the details for our wedding, and Lindsay absolutely met that need! She handled everything from vendor discussions, to tracking payments, to checklists of all the various wedding weekend details, to creating a minute-by-minute wedding day timeline, and so much more. Even when Lindsay was unable to make it to our wedding day due to an unforeseen personal conflict, she was sure everything was in order before our big day, and had Gabby step in to help. Gabby was just as organized throughout our entire wedding weekend and remained so calm and collected to keep everything moving. We cannot recommend Calluna enough!! Thank you!!

’t sure we wanted to use a planner, Lindsey made us feel special and her expertise made it very clear we needed her help. Best decision we made in the planning process!! Not often in my life do I feel like I can release control of something as important as planning a wedding but with Lindsey I did. We could have talked once and we would have converged on more or less the same wedding she was that good at seeing exactly what I wanted.
My fiancé is in the military and was gone for most of the planning process, so having Lindsey to bounce ideas off of was invaluable. She knew exactly when to jump in with an opinion on a vendor call and her opinions were always spot on.
There were a couple of sticky situations with vendors and Lindsey handled them (and me) with so much grace. On the day of, no family or guest had to worry about a single thing. Hiccups came and went with no drama because Lindsey and her team were there.
Yes she makes sure napkins match the plates, but the emotional support Lindsey provided me, and my family through the process is invaluable. There’s no question who we’ll be coming to for my two sisters when their time comes. They deserve every glowing review here.

m rose to these challenges and we walked away from the weekend impressed by their skillset and were not aware of any behind-the-scenes mishaps. Furthermore, Heather and her team were very calm and professional throughout the planning process and more importantly during the wedding festivities. We felt very well taken care of and confident that they could gracefully handle any potential issues. We would certainly recommend Calluna and really enjoyed working with Heather and her team.

wedding was technically a destination wedding and neither of us lived in the area full time. This could have posed as a challenge but Kristen is so well versed in her craft she made everything seamless. Sometimes I have issues being decisive and Kristen would really use her expertise to help make it easy. When it came to the smaller details and processes of things- I was pretty lost at first. Kristen took charge and really explained everything so well. I am not good with design and she really took the lead there and knew exactly how to lay things out and it all looked gorgeous come wedding time. I always felt comfortable calling her or texting her and she made me feel so much less stressed with all the little details. Her professionalism in coordinating with all my vendors was unmatched. They all adored her and thanked her for making it all so simple. My husband and I adore Kristen and her team and are SO thankful we got to work with them. Our wedding went SO smoothly and we had multiple people comment on how well it all went. I HIGHLY recommend Calluna to anyone looking to make the stresses of wedding planning a little more fun and easy. Kristen- we love you! Thank you times a million!
First and foremost, Heather was a delight from the very first conversation when I was just beginning the planning process. She made us feel important! How much we would spend was...
n’t a “qualifier” and she was only interested in getting to know us. After 2 years of planning, we wanted Heather to dine with us at the rehearsal dinner. She had become a treasured guest, as special to us as family!
Heather Dwight, owner of Calluna Events, assembled an incredible team of vendors that delivered a magical and truly unforgettable wedding weekend of our dreams. The wedding was understated elegance with a Ralph Lauren vibe. The weekend was action packed and fun, a true reflection of our life together.
The mood board Heather created after the initial phone calls was spot on! From the start she understood our emphasis was a for a unique and memorable guest experience. Heather got the big picture yet executed it in great detail. When we walked into the reception for our private, first look we were blown away, it was absolutely gorgeous. Not a detail overlooked.
Our 4-day wedding weekend included Thursday night rehearsal dinner and stargazing party for all, Bridal horseback / hike to picnic lunch, groom’s zip lining, and guest mountain biking and hatchet throwing, Welcome BBQ pig roast, semi formal wedding, after party and Farwell brunch.
We spent the first year sending Heather our ideas, thoughts, and selections, and she pulled them all together into a cohesive design and brought our visions to life and executed the weekend flawlessly.
While Heather kept us on track throughout the 2 years of planning, it was the last 3 months she shinned. She took care of all the large and small behind the scene details. Her timelines were flawless. Heather is very professional, organized, calm and soft spoken. She deftly steered the ship, working with the MOB, MOG, bride and groom and communicated our visions to all our vendors.
Living out of state and managing a growing company, Heather took the stress off me and made the planning process effortless and enjoyable. The day of the wedding, we were so relaxed and stress free. The day flowed so smoothly, I never once looked at the time.
Perhaps the best reviews came from Ranch staff who either worked over the weekend or stopped in to see the reception and said it was by far their favorite! Simply put Heather / Calluna are the Best! You’ll get the wedding of your dreams and a friend for life!
Lindsay & Calluna were hands down the best choice we made to assist with our wedding weekend. From initial engagement with Lindsay, we knew we had the right person for Morgan & I. ...
She was so kind, caring, and emotionally/personally invested in our vision for the weekend, it was hard to tell if Morgan or Lindsay wanted it to be perfect more. Lindsay started with us 14 months out from our wedding day coordinating our rehearsal dinner, day of get ready, rehearsal & ceremony, and all the inbetweens/behind the scenes vendor items we couldn’t even see or hear about it because it just got handled by her. The platform Calluna has, local relationships, and expertise is top notch in addition to the amazing customer service and experience they provide. I can’t recommend enough and feel honored to have worked with them + Lindsay.
Heather at Calluna Events was great to work with! If I had to do it all over again Calluna Events would be my first choice ! She delivered such a magical weekend!

Throughout the wedding weekend, I honestly couldn't have done it without Heather. She was so detail-oriented, thoughtful, and calm, that it truly made our wedding a dream come true.
No matter what the problem or opportunity was, Heather was there to help me every step of the way and I couldn't be happier. We love Calluna and couldn't recommend them enough!

y was she a rockstar during the day-of, but continuously so during the 20 months of preparation leading up to it. Every vendor we worked with spoke so highly of Lindsay & the entire Calluna team. Every big or small detail we envisioned for our incredible day was fulfilled. Our venue was new-ish (about 160 guests total) and Lindsay did an incredible job taking the reins to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. We hoped for a "Kardashian Style" photo booth, and she got it for us! I specifically requested late-night cheeseburgers, Lindsay made it happen! She always stayed in close contact with us, helped create personalized touches, and in the end- unforgettable memories. Lindsay perfectly represents the incredible business that Calluna is, and we are so lucky to have experienced her incredible talents. We very much look forward to working with Calluna for future parties and events!
I had 2 months to plan my wedding that Calluna turned into an editorial dream at Magee Homestead in Wyoming (part of Brushcreek Ranch) . My wedding venue recommended them and late...
r I learned they were an area favorite. Every vendor I had gushed about them. They have a buzz for a reason. Working in a customer service business myself I’m hard to impress. But every email was answered quickly, my vision was executed perfectly and they not only fought for every dollar I spent with every vendor but the owner Heather was taking me through breathing exercises before I walked down the aisle. Furthermore, my guests loved having them be apart of the festivities. Both Heather and Jenna made me feel like the most important client they ever had. They deserve every amazing review. It’s true.. they are the best of the best and I would choose them over and over again.
Working with Calluna was a dream come true! We worked with Melanie Robertz, and we could not have asked for a better planner. From our very first call, Melanie put my mind at ease,...
and made the entire planning process celebratory and easy. We could always count on her expert opinion, recommendations for other wonderful vendors, and her creative eye throughout our year of planning. She took the time to get to know us as people and as a couple, and ensured that our wedding captured our vision. Because of Melanie, our day was beautifully executed and felt true to the two of us. In the months leading up to our wedding, Melanie was always in close contact and worked closely with us to make sure every detail was perfect. Our entire family and wedding party noted how incredibly kind, efficient, and helpful Melanie was throughout our entire wedding weekend. The whole weekend was stress-free knowing that Melanie had all of the details handled! We would recommend Calluna to anyone, the team truly made the entire planning process incredible!

avigating some difficult obstacles, and Melanie was always there to share her opinion, and expert knowledge to help us make the right decisions. She was in close contact in the few months leading up to our wedding, and I loved having her to bounce ideas off of when it came to our vision, florals, decor, everything! On the day of our wedding, I felt completely relaxed and confident that Melanie had every last detail and logistic covered. That was the best feeling I could have! I would recommend Calluna to anyone looking for a full or partial wedding planner - they are the best in the biz! Thank you again!
What a joy it was working with Melanie from Calluna! She was so positive, creative, and helpful throughout our short wedding planning window of less than 8 months. She helped us as...
semble a dream team of vendors for our wedding weekend in Colorado, and together they designed and executed the most magical experience for us and our guests. Melanie invested the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, to make sure she could bring our vision to life and also represent our needs on our behalf. She quickly became a trusted advisor and friend, and we feel honored she was a part of our wedding celebration.
We started searching for wedding planners shortly after becoming engaged during COVID in 2020. We were thoroughly impressed with Calluna from the start. Their attention to detail e...
xceeded many others, and they asked us a lot of questions that other planners did not. Lindsay really took the time to get to know us and what we envisioned for our big day. We still wanted to plan several aspects of our wedding, but needed some guidance in the process, some vendor recommendations, and day of coordination. We loved that Calluna did not have a one size fits all approach. They were able to customize a package for us that fit all of our needs. Throughout the process Lindsay was great! She maintained good communication, met deadlines, and went out of her way on several occasions to make sure we were taken care of. The day of our wedding was perfect! Lindsay and her assistant were on top of everything. If there was an issue, we didn't know about it and received numerous compliments from our guests about how well they did. Lindsay was very attentive to us and always made sure we had everything we needed. I can't count how many times we have said they were worth every penny. Calluna truly is wonderful and we could not have picked a better planner to work with for our big day! Thank you Lindsay for everything!

us hit it off right away. Having both come from New York, I knew that she would understand what I was looking for but she exceeded all of our expectations. We wanted a wedding that was untraditional and fun and Lindsay delivered. She was able to translate our vision to all of our other vendors and helped keep us calm as COVID restrictions were ever-changing. It was truly the best night of our lives and we couldn't have done it without Lindsay and Calluna's guidance.

lpful, as we navigated the many ups and downs of planning a wedding during this time. I am so glad that we decided to wait it out and have our wedding in September 2021. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives. The weekend was flawless and couldn't have gone any better. I felt extremely supported by Melanie and really enjoyed working with her. Many of my friends, especially my bridal party, commented on how fabulous Melanie was and how well she handled everything. I'm so glad that I chose Calluna as my wedding planner and wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else! Thank you for everything you do :)

k with from start to finish, and made our entire experience amazing. Lindsay Hayden was our Lead Planner and Designer - she was fantastic! The entire Calluna team was wonderful and collaborative. Lindsay was able to intertwine all of our thoughts with her experience and ideas to bring together a large, beautiful and cohesive wedding on the top of Aspen Mountain. During the planning process, Lindsay always gave us multiple options for vendors with different styles and price points. She also negotiated with vendors to get us the best deal for our welcome event, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception. She coordinated with vendors behind the scenes so that everyone worked together efficiently - we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She also worked ahead of schedule so there was less of a time crunch right before the wedding. Lindsay together with her team made my special day memorable and relaxing - I never felt rushed and was taken care of. She had an umbrella ready and was never far away. I told her my dress bustle had fallen down and the next thing I knew, her team was helping me pin it up. We couldn’t have been happier. Thank you, Lindsay and Calluna!

s, so hiring a wedding coordinator was a must for us. We were so impressed by Heather’s organization and professionalism, both of which were matched by her calm and caring nature. No detail was overlooked and we truly felt that everything we envisioned for the day, Heather helped to make a reality. Calluna had several other weddings the weekend we got married, but Heather made us feel as if ours was the only one and everything from start to finish was seamless. We truly enjoyed every minute, as did our guests. Heather and the Calluna team have so much knowledge and experience in this industry and we felt so fortunate to be able to work with them.We highly recommend this team to anyone planning a wedding or special event. You will be so happy you hired them!

alize they were so busy with wedding this summer due to postponements from last year but they did an incredible job. Melanie was so helpful with all the details especially leading up to the final day. The outcome was fabulous!!

she really helped me figure out my vision for our big day. Lindsay then took over for Jean, and Lindsay did such a great job helping with everything run smoothly the day of our small intimate ceremony as well as our postponed wedding. I was very grateful to have Calluna Events be a part of our wedding(s) and for all of their help!
It's hard to put into words just how magical it was working with Calluna Events, specifically Heather Dwight. We had a phone consultation in 2019 with Heather to discuss our weddin...
g ideas and I was immediately struck by her calm demeanor, professionalism, and desire to make our event truly unique to us (as we wanted a more eclectic/non-traditional wedding).
After talking with her, we instantly knew she was meant to be our wedding planner. We started working with Heather as she helped us plan both our 20 person intimate destination wedding weekend in Colorado and our 100 person wedding reception party in Virginia.
As we worked together for over two years (we had to postpone - shout out to the covid brides/grooms/partners) I began to see why Calluna Events is such a sought after wedding planning company - and it starts with their owner, Heather.
Heather goes above and beyond; She kept all of our vendors in the loop when we had to postpone our events. When the events finally happened, she provided detailed day of timelines for all of the vendors. She's an organizational genius.
Heather is a go getter; Throughout the planning process, we had a lot of questions for the venues. If we had a question regarding the venue, she would quickly reply "I'll ask them" or "I'll circle back with them since we haven't heard."
Heather is responsive and provides exceptional customer service; She understood just how important our special day meant to us and wanted to alleviate any stress we had by getting back to us in a timely manner.
Heather is detail oriented and creative; She cared about the little things just as much as we did. She's basically the Mary Poppins of wedding planning and always had multiple design ideas up her sleeves.
Heather is humble; She is kind-hearted, hard-working, and gracious in all that she does.
Heather is budget-conscious; She listened to our budget needs and offered multiple budget friendly options in all planning areas.
Heather is always rooting for her couples; She recognized what was most important to us on our wedding day and kept it top priority. She wanted us to have THE TIME OF OUR LIVES at our wedding and it showed because she put an immense amount of effort and care into the planning process.
Heather truly makes wedding magic happen and we were beyond fortunate to work with such a talented and lovely person. We would recommend working with her a thousand times over and can't wait to work with her again in the future (baby shower one day?!). Thank you Heather! xox
I can’t recommend Lindsay and the Calluna team enough. We had a microwedding in Boulder this summer and even though the guest count was much lower than normal at 10 people, I alway...
s felt like I was a top priority for Lindsay. She really made an effort to get to know me and understand what was important to me for my wedding. She helped me articulate my vision perfectly and made the most thoughtful recommendations on vendors, timelines, decor decisions, and more. The entire wedding day was absolutely seamless with zero surprises which helped me relax and focus on spending my time with my family instead of worrying about timing or details. It was a perfect day thanks to Lindsay and the Calluna team.
We honestly can’t recommend Calluna enough. They genuinely went above and beyond every step of the way. When we started working with Calluna, we had no idea it would turn into a ne...
arly two year relationship (and neither did they!) thanks to Covid. We did a bulk of our wedding planning before Covid hit, working with Jean, who really helped a vision that we had no idea we had come to life. She was extremely communicative and patient each step of the way, and helped us move all of our vendor contracts when we had to delay a year due to Covid. In that time, it ended up that we needed to switch wedding planners due to the new timeline, and we started working with Lindsey who was a total all-star. She picked up right where Jean left off, and 100% delivered on our vision.
The day of the wedding went off without a single hitch. I couldn’t believe it! I wasn’t stressed at all, and that was a testament to Lindsay and her team, and the amazing coordination with all of our vendors. I really can’t recommend Calluna highly enough, we couldn’t have been happier with our big day.
