What I asked for and what was made were for two separate events. I needed a matte black, elegant wedding cake and what was made was a bowler hat for a Charlie Chaplin themed party....
Darlene sent me a picture of the mess she made HOURS before my wedding, describing it as “gorgeous.” I was not happy so instead of fixing it, making the cake she promised, she just said, “I’ll just refund your money!”
Really??? Hours before my wedding? I can’t hire a new vendor, it was too late. I shouldn’t have had to worry about a cake when I was marrying my soul mate. What should’ve been one of the happiest days of my life, I had to try and scramble to find a dessert for my guests and myself that flew in from all over the country to attend my wedding.
I have received no apology from Darlene and as of right now, no refund either.
Darlene was great to work with. I used her for my fathers celebration of life and she went above and beyond to make everything to special. She even surprised me with an edible choc...
olate frame with a picture of my dad and I. Not to mention everyone LOVED the pastries and kept asking where they were from. I would order again from her in a heartbeat! Best service and pastries.

st experience. We had a phone consultation with Darlene 6 months prior and told her what we liked and let her take it from there. She asked to see a picture of my wedding dress and used inspiration from my dress to decorate the cake and wow she nailed it!
She was SO communicative and sent me a picture the day before and also texted me when she dropped it off to Trevi. The cake was incredible and probably the most delicious cake we’ve ever tasted. All of our guests loved the look and taste!
I can’t recommend Darlene enough, you need to work with her for your wedding cake!

ke at the wedding, and the venue didn’t save anything but scraps… However, the cakes from our tasting were to die for!!! And from what our guests told us, the cake on our wedding day was just as amazing!!!! Hire Darlene if you can!!! She’s wonderful!!!

tings, we communicated with Darlene over texts, phone calls and emails. She was so super sweet, responsive, and accommodating, and the cakes and desserts she made for us were both BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS!!! Darlene really goes above and beyond. She was willing to deliver a cake to both our ceremony and reception dinner (at 2 different locations), and even set up a dessert stand that we ordered and had shipped to her! My only regret was not being able to bring back any of our cakes and desserts to Hawaii! Thank you, Darlene, we hope to order from you for our first anniversary!!!
Darlene delivered a cake more than I expected. The cake the moist and flavorful. Delivered on time with no issue. I highly recommend her work.

wers were perfectly arranged, to bake a special gluten-free cupcake for the bride, and to include a custom mini groom's cake made entirely of brownie! Our naked red velvet cake was delicious and super moist! We got a ton of compliments from our guests about it. I would definitely recommend Darlene and Cakes on the Move for any of your wedding cake needs. She is so friendly and helpful and also very talented at what she does. Thank you, Darlene! We couldn't be happier with how our wedding cake turned out! :)

a better recommendation. Being from out of the country, she was very responsive to our many emails, phone calls and questions we had. We wanted our cake to be made out of layers of cookies and she was able to accommodate our custom request. She was very caring and made sure our cookie cake was exactly how we envisioned. Our cookie cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. We and our guests were very impressed! It was unfortunate we were unable to meet with her but most definitely will once we are back in Las Vegas. We highly recommend Cakes on the Move! Thank you for being so wonderful and for our amazing cookie cake!
Where should I start?

ious! Presentation? Gorgeous!!! We couldn't have asked for a better cake and the fact that I had to do everything by phone and all she had to do was ask me to let her take over creatively. She makes the deliveries herself and makes sure that your cake is well taken care of. I put my trust in Darlene and my reception cake was a star! She even remembered my husbands favorite cake flavor and he was a very happy man. :) Definitely look to Cakes on the move for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

he was so excited to help me and design the cake that it made me even more excited for my wedding. She had the cake set up on time with no hastle to me. It was a goregous cake, with pretty cupcakes and even custom chocolate work of a framed picture of us and chocolate molds to finish out the entire look. The work was flawlass, everyone loved the cake and cupcakes and she was happy to stay within my price range. I will be using her again for other events, Thank you Cakes on the Move!

n my cake, and I was like hey, what's the worst that could happen? She wanted a pic of my dress, fascinator and sash and she made the cake match my dress! It was beautiful. The cake was moist and delicious. She so obviously loves what she does and it shows. I highly recommend!

We chose Darlene at the recommendation of Trevi. This turned out to be a great choice. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed it. The flowers on top were gorgeous and ...
it was set up beautifully. We didn't give it 5 stars because the chocolate layer was supposed to be covered in European fudge, which we couldn't find (maybe it was on there and if it was, it wasn't noticeable). My husband loved the cake and I thought it could have been more moist. It cut beautifully and our guests enjoyed it, but no one raved about it, like we hoped they would.
We ordered our cake through Cakes on the Move and it was amazing. I hate cake but their cake was moist and exactly how we wanted it which was something I was worried about because ...
