Crystal was wonderful to work with! We had an original plan for pre-COVID, but when COVID hit we had to modify it. She was super flexible and helped us get exactly what we wanted a...

tly what we wanted. She even delivered all the way to Corolla, NC, which we truly appreciated and the cake looked and tasted just like we wanted and expected. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about our experience with Cakes by Crystal. I look forward to being in contact with her again some time for specialty cakes! :)
Crystal made our incredibly elegant and tasty wedding cake! We'd researched and tasted at several bakeries and we had the best experience tasting with Crystal. Not only did she mak...
e us several different cakes to try, she also made us a Bailey’s Irish cream frosting that was absolutely amazing and just what we wanted! I showed her the designs from some Pinterest cakes that I liked, and she said she could craft something that was very similar but also unique to our wedding and theme. We ended up going with an almond cake with Baily's Irish cream buttercream frosting for our guests and a chocolate cake with the same frosting for our top tier (I can't wait to eat that on our 1st Anniversary!!)
I was so impressed with Crystal's level of professionalism and her artistic designs. Her invoice was certainly the most pretty of all of our invoices as it had her cake sketch included on it - smile! On the day of the wedding, she delivered the cake at the venue two hours in advance of the wedding, and all of the events staff remarked how helpful she was in getting the cake table and display just perfect. She even worked with our floral designer to make sure the table had some beautiful accents that went with the cake stand, which she supplied and looked amazing.
The guests at my wedding remarked that the cake was one of the most delicious cakes they’ve ever had and there was proof of that as it got eaten almost all gone!! I would love to use Crystal again for any of my major life events that require sweets! I would highly recommend her as her prices are extremely reasonable and her designs are of the upmost exquisite perfection! Thank you Crystal for helping to make our wedding day so beautiful!!

ount on guests and it was lower than previously expected and when contacting her to see if we could change the size it was already set in stone. Totally understand but bummed because we had a ton of cake leftover. Overall she was great and the cakes were amazing and that's all that matters.

e meeting, but I put my faith in her and I am so glad I did. She is so affordable and easy to work with. Best of all, the cake was DELICIOUS!!! We only had 4 pieces of cake left and ordered for an extra 35 people! Thank you Crystal and we wish you many blessings for continued success. You definitely deserve it!

nd was very friendly and accommodating. She was the only cake vendor we met with for our wedding cake and after meeting her, we knew she was the one for us! We chose almond, strawberry, and cookies and cream for our cupcakes and an almond cake for the wedding cake. The cake was SO tasty! We got so many compliments from our guest saying it was the best cake they had ever tasted. The display for the cake and cupcakes was absolutely stunning as well. I would recommend Cakes by Crystal to anyone in need of a cake. The cake was incredible and Crystal was a joy to work with. Thank you Crystal for helping make our day so wonderful :)

were looking for and followed through perfectly. The cake was delicious, I wish that we were able to eat more, but we heard nothing but good things about it. With the cupcakes she was able to give us more of a variety also, which worked out great! She is also a small local business, which is a great thing to support in the area.

y anywhere else. The cake was THAT good. He was set on Crystal's cakes. We ended up having 3 different cakes, a lemon wedding cake, a strawberry Groom's cake, and a vanilla sheet cake (for extra), and they were all equally moist and delicious. She does beautiful work, our cakes were everything we could have dreamed of.
The cake was nice, not exactly what i wanted, but very nice!
No better cake around.

at we were looking for. Her cakes were moist, flavorful, and the icing was so yummy! She was extremely easy to work with and had many wonderful ideas. Even when our reception cite didn't have a cake table ready for her, she was very understanding. She worked well with my florist when selecting flowers for the cake. She was amazing!
