Caitlin Maloney Photography

am so obsessed with her style and editing of the photos, they are so clean and timeless and I am absolutely obsessed. It's taken us over a week to fully enjoy all of the photos and I have been periodically crying throughout because we truly were reliving every single moment of our day. These photos will be with us for the rest of our lives, and I am so relieved she was the one to document that day for us. I want to also thank Caitlin for being the person she is. She made us feel so relaxed throughout the whole process and she is a joy to be around! Caitlin is extremely easy to work with, easy to speak to, exudes professionalism, and made me, my husband, and the entire bridal party feel so comfortable throughout the day. Looking back at our wedding day we weren't stressed or anxious at all and she played a huge role in that. It's been such a pleasure working with Caitlin and we cannot wait for our wedding album!

feedback and really listened to our preferences, which made the final photos even more incredible. Her calm, friendly demeanor made everything easy and enjoyable, and she was incredibly professional from start to finish. The photos are stunning, full of emotion and detail—we couldn’t be happier! If you want a photographer who’s talented, responsive, and a joy to work with, Caitlin is the one to choose.

hotography and is extremely knowledgeable. She is organized, on time, and helped with our wedding day timeline. Her assistant photographer was also very talented. We highly recommend Caitlin for any photography needs.

f her help and support!

e planning process, meeting with us multiple times over the phone to answer questions and discuss our wedding day timeline. She captured our wedding day beautifully, everything we were looking for and more! We cannot wait to work with Caitlin for future photo needs!

s photos she captured of our wedding. She is so organized and planned our wedding day schedule, making sure we had time to capture all the pics we wanted without feeling rushed. Her photography skills are unmatched, and we are forever grateful for the incredible memories she’s given us. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to document our special day!

count on. Caitlin was responsive throughout the wedding planning process and was also great to work with on the day of. We have many great wedding photos and it will be hard to decide which ones to frame and put in an album!

tic eye, and a timeless and natural editing style. The photos perfectly capture the details and emotion of our day. Caitlin found the best lighting at numerous locations at our venue that helped lead to amazing pictures…that we can’t stop looking at! Caitlin did so much more than photographing our wedding. She helped us not only create our day of timeline, but helped us stick to it on the day of the wedding. She has a calming presence that is truly invaluable. We cannot recommend Caitlin enough!

ill capture the best of your wedding day, she is an incredibly kind person and a joy to work with. We were immediately drawn to her photography looking through her photos online. She has a clean, classic style without gimmicks or stuffiness. We knew that her photography would be exactly what we wanted, and within minutes of talking with her knew we wanted her with us on our wedding day. We originally booked Caitlin in 2020, and just recently had our twice postponed 2022 wedding. Caitlin went above and beyond in her flexibility and kindness during the last two years, not only with rescheduling during the pandemic but being supportive and understanding through difficult times. During our engagement shoot and throughout our wedding day, Caitlin made us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. When we were done with our engagement shoot, my husband and I both said to each other that we had such a good time we could’ve spent the whole day with her. We were so happy to have her with us at our wedding, and our families and wedding parties both raved about how great she was to work with. After the wedding, she followed up with updates on our photos and a whole album of images just days later. We knew the photos would be beautiful, but they were better than we could’ve imagined. She truly captured the love and joy of the day, two years in the making. We are so grateful to have had Caitlin as our photographer.

hotos both turned out beautifully! The day was captured in an elegant and perfect way. Caitlin was organized and helped my day run smoothly. My pictures look beautiful hung up throughout my home! I love looking at them and remembering our perfect day. We would highly recommend Caitlin for your photography needs!! We are so thankful.

ything, and overall a pleasure to work with. Though neither me nor my husband are people who normally feel comfortable in front of the camera, she was great at making us feel relaxed and capturing genuine moments. On the actual wedding day, she, along with her assistant photographer Amanda, did an excellent job capturing all the details we wanted, and made us all feel at ease. Overall, I highly, highly recommend her!

tention to detail is so helpful and takes the stress out of the planning process. I could not recommend her enough! We are so thrilled with our photos, she is so great at what she does! Run don’t walk to book with her!

magined. When I was a nervous wreck before our wedding with planning, she even set aside time to call me on the phone and tell me that it was going to be beautiful and perfect and that she would take care of it...and she did! Not only is she a fabulous photographer, she's a wonderful person. I seriously can't recommend her enough for any kind of photoshoot!

ing Caitlin is as a person! Caitlin was the sweetest, most thoughtful and calming vendor leading up to and on our wedding day. She was the vendor we were closest with throughout the entire day, so this was so important to us. We met Caitlin in-person for the first during our engagement session. She travelled all the way from Lansing to South Haven because we wanted photos in the same spot we got engaged. I sent a photo of my dress to Caitlin beforehand so she could plan photo locations and outfit change time and immediately made us feel like we were in good hands. We took one dipping/kissing photo right off the bat and felt a little awkward but when Caitlin showed us the photo, we were completely blown away and trusted her with every fiber. We felt so comfortable during the session and had so much fun it honestly felt like a date we’d never forget. On our wedding day, Caitlin was so professional, calm and complimentary. Her planning process is so detailed that we didn’t have to think twice about missing a person or an important detail in shots. Caitlin was by our side almost all day making sure we were felling good and reassuring us that everything was indeed perfect. I appreciate Caitlin so much, respect her as a very professional photographer, but more importantly, see her as a friend for life that I can’t wait to cheer on!

re both a little camera shy but Caitlin made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She taught us different poses that look natural in photos. She was also professional and always quick to respond which can be difficult during the current pandemic. We are so impressed with our engagement photos and sneak peeks from our wedding. They are timeless and will be cherished for decades to come.

razy pandemic, she was able to respond promptly and was incredibly organized. My now husband unfortunately had COVID before our engagement session, but Caitlin was able to reschedule our session with ease and understanding. Caitlin not only took the time to carefully shoot our wedding day, but was sweet enough to connect with me on my wedding day and checking in to make sure I was doing okay. We had to walk down a steep hill to a picture spot, and Caitlin helped me carry my dress and bouquet, and lent an arm to help me get down safely. Caitlin made me feel like a special bride. Everyone who has seen my photos speak about how well done everything is, and you can see the care Caitlin takes in every photo. We plan on using Caitlin again beyond our wedding day. We are so lucky to have worked with not only an amazing photographer, but a genuinely kind and beautiful person.

e of our day. When I had a last minute cancelation with a vendor, I asked Caitlin for recommendations and she went above and beyond to help me find a replacement. Caitlin is so nice and easy to work with. She helped make our wedding day stress free. We LOVED our sneak peek pictures and cannot wait to see the rest!

r. She is organized, fun, and has an eye for the most creative shots. We are very happy with our photo gallery and would highly, highly recommend her!!

photography is timeless and will be displayed forever on our walls. Not only is her work beautiful, but her guidance, service, and personality are so easy to work with. Even through a tornado warning, she remained calm and helpful. I hope to use her for future shoots and stay connected for years to come!

engagement shoot. We were blown away in awe of the photo gallery she sent us. Caitlin captured all the beautiful moments in between with great backdrop/lighting/emotions and the pictures turned out amazing! We loved working with her and would 100% recommend having her photograph your special day.

o pick what ended up on the wall and in frames (which is a great problem to have!) I was extremely happy with Caitlin’s professionalism and responsiveness throughout the process - she kept my requests in mind and the end results were gorgeous. I really could not have been happier! She was awesome!

rything was in place and the day would go smoothly. With the change of location she was able to give feedback on different lighting and locations that would be best for pictures and helped with a timeline of the day! She was able to capture so many special moments throughout our day, and ensure we got all the photos we were wanting. Our wedding plans may have changed multiple times, but I am so happy we were able to have our wedding and have Caitlin as our photographer to be able to look back on these beautiful pictures for years to come.

up amazingly beautiful shots seem oh so easy - she's been doing this for several years and it shows! She has an incredible eye - she made the limited greenery at the small bed and breakfast where we got married look like we were in the middle of a beautiful forest, seriously unbelievable! Our wedding photos look like they should be in a magazine (which I guess is not surprising given that she has already been published in PEOPLE magazine after taking Michelle Kwan's wedding photos!). She also kept my family and friends on schedule (which is not easy!) and made this part of our special day fun and effortless. Altogether, she is professional, organized, easy-going, fun, incredibly talented and worth every cent - hire her now!

rry about anything the day of. She also posted several pictures on Facebook the very next day. It was so cool to see a sneak peak of our pictures so soon! I

was a no brainer! Caitlin's work is beautiful, her art speaks for itself. Plus her easy going, down to earth, friendly, professional and her flexible personality was a dream to have during such a big part of our lives. She was always there providing advice via text or phone call or email and was always prompt with responses. She was straight forward and realistic but also extremely accommodating and made Phil and I's day absolutely perfect that I practically cried when we finalized our wedding photo spot choices! I would highly recommend her! I can't wait to see all rest of our photo's :)

s. She is super easy to work with, so accommodating and made us feel at ease during the whole planning experience. On the day of our wedding, she helped move things along so flawlessly with my large family and bridal party during our formal portraits in the heat of July :) I am so excited to see the rest of the photos and have no doubt that they will be just as amazing as the previews that we've seen. She has an incredible eye for light and is so artistic which makes the photos truly breathtaking. Thank you Caitlin for capturing our special day!

ment photos and our wedding and she not only put us at ease, but flew in for the wedding! Our engagement session was almost cancelled due to weather, however we decided to go for it and she climbed over rocks and through minor rain showers and we all agreed it was well worth it, she got the drama I was looking for! On the wedding day she was quick and efficient and I know the pictures will turn out just as incredible!! Thank you to Caitlin, selfishly I hope she moves back to RI, but any Michigan Brides should definitely work with her!! PS - her eye for lighting is impeccable!

ys felt like we were in good hands. Caitlin is very professional and trustworthy, and her work speaks for itself! I can't wait to get back our full album of photos, but just by the sneak peek, I'm more than happy already :) I highly recommend booking Caitlin for any photo shoot you may need!

rave reviews. Caitlin is so very talented and we were fortunate to work with her!!!

y, so she definitely helped us ease into it and guided us and made us feel much more comfortable in front of the camera. Her photographs look so natural and timeless, nothing is overly posed. Caitlin was so helpful during the planning process, helping create a wedding day timeline that allowed us to get all of the photos that we wanted on our big day. We loved working with Caitlin, and would recommend her to any couple planning a wedding!

s it was like that "this is it!" moment I had when trying on wedding dresses. Her photos are artistic and beautiful, and I love what she does with color and light. Those little differences set her apart from the others. We loved our engagement photos and are loving the teasers she's posted from our wedding this past weekend. I am really thankful we got to work with her. Photography might be a big line item in your wedding budget (was the biggest in mine aside from catering) but an experienced professional is worth every penny.

that she sent me before our first call she was the one! Caitlin was always flexible with us as we were planning from the West Coast. Our photos are gorgeous and just above and beyond what we imagined. We were so lucky to be able to have Caitlin as our photographer and I would recommend her to anyone.

, easy, no-pressure way about her that I loved from the beginning. I would describe her style of photography as classic, simple and elegant. My style is simple, so I wasn't looking for a photographer to take weird, unnatural shots of people fake-laughing. My photos came out SOOO beautiful....in a natural, classic, real life sort-of way. I was so amazed at some of the images... She turned (what I felt were) pretty normal photos into works of art. Some of the moments she captured are just so precious and I couldn't be happier! We ended up hiring the second photographer at the last minute and we were SO glad we did. It's impossible for one person to get all the shots you really want - it's worth the extra cash for a lifetime of amazing memories!!! Don't skimp on photos ladies!! Also, she was an absolute professional throughout the whole process. I bombarded her with SO many questions and she always responded promptly and cheerfully. My husband is pretty shy when it comes to photos, but she made him feel totally comfortable with the whole process. As someone else mentioned, I barely even noticed her presence at the reception - then I see these great candids of all my guests. That is sign of a good photographer!!! All in all, if you are looking for some amazing, classic, elegant photos without pressure or pretentiousness Caitlin is your girl! You won't be disappointed!

comfortable in front of the camera. Both Caitlyn and her assistant were great to work with on our wedding day. We have amazing pictures as a memory of a very special day. I would recommend Caitlyn to any of my family or friends for their wedding.

out to inquire about her services to when she delivered us our beautiful wedding photos, she was professional and easy to work with. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable (we aren't exactly spotlight "look at me" people!) and honestly, other than the formal pictures, we forgot she and her assistant were even there! I think it's also important to point out that we didn't have a videographer and after looking at all of the moments Caitlin was able to capture we really didn't need one. Caitlin demonstrated her expertise as a wedding photographer by delivering us beautiful pictures that we will be able to share with our family and friends for a life time!

allowed my husband and I to view some more of her work. Caitlin was warm and welcoming. Throughout the year Caitlin kept in touch with us, and was always interested on how the other plans were going. When our venue burnt down, she reached out to us and gave us multiple suggestions on where to look for a new venue. She was so caring at thoughtful at such a crazy time. When we met to have our engagement photos done, Caitlin was on time and professional. It was so nice to have a photographer give us some direction (since I am not a model lol) but also let me husband and me be ourselves at the same time. The pictures were so beautiful and we got them a month later. A month before my wedding Caitlin and I met to go over how my wedding day was going to run. We went over which photos were a must, and how long each set would take based on how I wanted my memories to be captured. Since Caitlin had never been to my venue we went to look at it together so she could get a lay of the land before the wedding day. It made me feel so secure that she knew where everything was and how the light would hit different spots of the venue grounds so I would get the most out of my pictures. On the day of my wedding Caitlin was at my house on time, and again very professional. She was very attentive, but did not "get in the way" of all the madness that happens right before a wedding. After she took the photos at my house, she drove to the church and was on time for that too. When Caitlin was taking the family photos she was very time conscious based on the time frames we set a month prior to the wedding. She also got all of the wedding photos we had talked about in our previous meeting, she even had the list on her to make sure nothing was missed. Caitlin makes you feel very comfortable which allows you to relax so she can capture the love you have for your new spouse. That is what makes her pictures so special. Caitlin was the one vendor that I never worried about during the wedding planning process, which is saying a lot because no bride ever wants to worry about vendors. The pictures are everything, and I could not speak highly enough about Caitlin. The beautiful moments Caitlin captured allows me and my husband to relive our wedding day. Caitlin captured our memories perfectly.

member her after we took our portraits. Once our formal photos were done and the reception began, I wasn't even aware Caitlin was taking all of the amazing photos she did! She managed to capture so many amazing candid moments from my wedding without being intrusive at all. That within itself was huge to me. In addition, all of our portraits and formal photos came out beautiful! She was able to capture the venue, the details, the moments, and even the personalities throughout the day. Caitlin was so relaxed, easy to talk to, and prepared me ahead of time so that the day would run so smoothly. If you are looking for a professional who really knows how to capture your wedding and make you feel relaxed as you she does so, I would go with her. I am thrilled with all of my pictures and am having trouble deciding which to print.

setting at the Glen Manor House. I can honestly say she blew all of my expectations away. The photos that she and her team took combined the elegance of the venue, the joy of the day, and the personal moments between the guests that help you to remember the feeling of the day. Photos of our friends and family dancing in the ballroom, and candid shots of my husband and I looking blissful (and in perfect light!) are a joy to look at. If you can book her do it! She's a true professional and you will be so happy to have her photos to enjoy year after year. Thanks so much, Caitlin! -Kate and Andrew Sorg Married 6/1/13

both creative and beautiful - we would highly recommend her!
