y daughter (the bride to be) who is a bit reserved when meeting new people, immediately felt comfortable chatting, learning a bit more about the couple and their approach to photography and sharing ideas about her wedding vision. Since the wedding was going to be more than a year off, my daughter and her fiancé started with engagement photos with Cactus & Coast. They had a great afternoon, hanging out at some of their favorite places in and around Denton and felt totally comfortable and natural working with Jason and Shelby. And the photos were amazing! They captured such a beautiful mix of fun, loving, REAL photos and made the newly engaged couple feel so natural and at ease. Before even seeing the proofs , Kellyn and Andrew knew that Cactus & Coast was the right partnership for their wedding day too. PLUS Kellyn booked a boudoir shoot as well! We could not be happier with the engagement photos and the boudoir photos were amazing too! Kellyn was a bit unsure about the boudoir session, yet said it was the most empowering and fun she has had and the photo book was beyond what she could have imagined!
Jason and Shelby were very quick to respond, thorough in their answers and easy to communicate with. They delivered proofs with a very quick turn around time and exceeded our expectations for quality, quantity and level of professionalism. And beyond that, they are nice, hard working people who know your special day is not just another day behind the camera - they treat you with patience, respect and kindness. And their prices were right in the ballpark compared to others. Of course you can find someone less expensive (and more expensive too) but in the end the pictures will be an investment you have made in yourself and your family.
