10/10 and more! Not enough stars for this woman! Chassie was an absolute dream to work with on my wedding day. I booked her knowing very well that the investment was WORTH IT. Not ...
only are you investing in her talent and expertise but her incredibly warm demeanor and emotional support in that getting ready room. There were many feelings and emotions pre-wedding that you just can't prepare for but let me tell you, Chassie is prepared and on your side. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt beautiful and loved everything. She event stayed around right up until the ceremony began to make sure I was perfectly touched up and had everything I needed. In short, do yourself a favor and book Chassie!
Chassie is a superstar and I’d recommend her team over and over again!! I wanted a natural makeup look and spent a long time searching for a team that excelled in that. Chassie kno...
cked it out of the park - I loved my look, felt like myself but still very “bridal,” my makeup wasn’t too heavy and it lasted all night (on a very humid evening)! Chassie also did my mom and MIL’s makeup - which they loved - and her team did all 11 of my bridesmaids! Chassie is so sweet and her team was wonderful to have around on our wedding morning. Crown of Glory is absolutely worth the investment!!
This review will probably be long but the tldr version is: Literally, just hire Chassie.
Chassie is an absolute FORCE. She got thrown into a crazy situation with my weddings (two ...
days back to back, one Hindu and one Western, with a 5am start time for Hindu wedding). She showed up at 5:00am on the dot with a smile on her face in a full suit (SO stylish), totally prepared and ready to go. She even brought her own giant light to the hotel to make sure we were well lit. My hair and makeup looks for each wedding day were completely different from each other and Chassie executed both flawlessly which goes to show her range. I even asked that she use some of my products that I know work for me and she was happy to, except she used them way better than I ever had (like I asked her to use my foundation but the way she did it made my skin look so glowy and it lasted way longer than ever before? Incredible.) Girl has TECHNIQUE. Her team also did my mom and MOB/Bridesmaids makeup and everyone told me how comfortable and confident Chassie and her team made them. My mom said she'd never felt so beautiful! I also got so many compliments from loved ones saying that I looked beautiful and glamorous but totally "like myself" which is Chassie's specialty. I didn't feel like I was wearing a mask and I felt liked I looked just as good in person as I did in photos.
Her looks also have LONGEVITY. I have oily skin so obviously powder was needed but I have never required such minimal touchups. I wore my wedding hair and makeup for 12 hours for my Hindu Ceremony and it still looked good. She had pinned jasmine and babies' breath in my hair and not a bloom was out of place, even after sun, dancing, and being hoisted in the air by multiple family members. It was true magic.
Chassie is also just really good, calming, uplifting energy to have around you, especially on a day as hectic and emotional as your wedding day. She makes you feel so warm and welcome, like an old friend. And she truly LISTENED to everything I said I wanted, even the small things, and readily made tweaks when I asked for them. It is obvious that she cares a lot about her Clients both professionally and personally. Yes, she is expensive but honestly she is worth every single penny. In the future if I ever have a photo shoot or important event, I would gladly book Chassie again. I cannot hype her up enough, she's amazing.
Also - her husband and business partner, Noah, does a wonderful job communicating all of the logistics: scheduling, timelines, payments, etc. He is lovely to deal with and they make a wonderful team.
Seriously - you will not regret hiring COGB for your big day or for any day.
Chassie and her team made me and my crew look like the best versions of ourselves on my wedding day!
Starting from my hair/makeup trial before my wedding, Chassie and Noah were so...
communicative and really listened to me when I said I wanted to still feel like myself on my wedding day. As someone who doesn't typically do a ton of hair/makeup every day, I felt at ease during the entire process and when my wedding day rolled around, Chassie totally nailed it with making sure I felt like myself while also being a little glam :)
Her teammate Caren also took care of my mom and sister and I've never seen them glow like that before! Thank you so much, Crown of Glory!
Wow, where do I begin!
Selecting a beauty vendor was an unexpectedly hard decision of wedding planning. I personally don't own any makeup and have worn makeup less than 5 times in...
my life. My biggest fear of wedding day beauty was that my groom wouldn't recognize me under all that glam (ha!). I just wanted to look like myself with a little wedding day glow...and boy did Crown of Glory DELIVER!!! I cannot praise Chassie, Noah, and their outstanding team enough! Both my trial and wedding day makeup turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined. Chassie truly understood what I was looking for and gave me the natural, wedding day glow I was looking for.
Crown of Glory was truly my favorite wedding vendor team. On the planning side, I worked with Noah who was so responsive to dozens of emails and flexible with all of my adjustments leading up to the wedding day. Chassie & her beauty team were able to create such romantic, timeless looks for my entire bridal party. I think the most impressive piece was the fact that each member of my bridal party had completely different skin tones, hair color, textures, etc. and we all LOVED our looks. Crown of Glory is truly a beauty vendor for all!!
Crown of Glory Beauty was the best decision for my big day! Chassie did my hair and makeup for engagement photos, bridal portraits and my wedding. She really wants you to not only ...
look your best, but feel your best during all of your important moments. On my wedding day, Chassie and one of her colleagues, Randall, took care of me, my mom, mother-in-law, three sister-in-laws, matron of honor and flower girl, and everyone looked amazing! I wanted to look like an elevated version of myself rather than total glam, and Crown of Glory understood my goals and delivered on that promise. There were a few people in my party who have not had professional makeup done and did not know what to expect; however at the end of the day EVERYONE was thrilled with the experience. Gotta love makeup and hair that lasts, and photographs beautifully. On top of all this, Chassie and her husband, Noah, are kind, enthusiastic and easy to work with. Cannot recommend Crown of Glory highly enough!
Chassie and her team gave us the BEST hair and makeup experience on my wedding day!
At the hair and makeup trial, Chassie was fully invested in getting to know me as a person. Sin...
ce I wasn't sure of the style I wanted at the time, she meticulously created multiple updos and half-up half down styles, so that I could see which one was my favorite for the big day. Once we were finished, she restyled my hair so that I could take engagement photos the same day. Chassie was hospitable and professional in her beautifully renovated studio.
On our wedding day, the Crown of Glory team was organized and efficient, while taking their time to ensure each person felt themselves with an elevated style. I wanted my bridesmaids to have a variety of styles, which Crown of Glory achieved to fit their personalities and styles. Our wedding guests mentioned to us how natural each one of the bridesmaid's hair and makeup looked. Chassie went above and beyond, even letting me rent her personal cathedral length veil for the experience. The Austin-based makeup products she uses are purposely natural and lightweight, with perfect coverage. I purchased some of her products for everyday use because I love it so much!
The wedding day morning with Crown of Glory made the getting ready experience effortless, fun, and stress free. Thank you, Chassie, for making our day so special. I would highly recommend booking her amazing services for any event!

vironment! I had the best time with you and your team.
I asked for natural and elegant hair & makeup, and you gave me everything I asked for and more! You were such a big part of our wedding day and I'm so glad for that! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Crown of Glory Beauty is THE WAY TO GO for any hair or makeup needs in Austin!! I used Chassie (who is one of the sweetest, most kind and welcoming people I've ever met, truly) for...
my hair & makeup on my wedding day. As someone who typically wears no makeup, all the times I've had my makeup done in the past, it felt much too heavy and inauthentically me. When searching for a HMUA in the Austin area and finding that Crown of Glory focused on more of a neutral makeup look and used more "clean" products, I knew they were the perfect choice for me. Their new bridal suite is so so so fun & great for your trial or to use as a place for your bridal party to get ready on your wedding day.
Chassie is so personable and will make you feel super comfortable. She really listens to what you want and will make adjustments as you go. She was able to create the blushy look I wanted, and brought my hair dreams to life!!! You absolutely cannot go wrong with Crown of Glory!!!! Just book them.
Chassie and Noah are a dream team! They are beyond kind, patient and super easy to be around. Chassie was easy-going and super responsive through the planning, rescheduling and lea...
ding up to the wedding day. I was an out-of-town bride but did my trial when in town for wedding things. She was so accomodating and spent her time trying to make it exactly what I wanted. I wanted to do a minor adjustment so she allowed me to do a re-trial before my wedding and was completely understanding. Her new space is beautiful and was such a nice place to be in for my trials. I accidentally spilled soda (that they purchased for me) and they were so cool about it. On the wedding day, she hired a wonderful and kind woman to do my sister's, mom's and mother in law's hair. Chassie was absolutely incredible on the day of - she took her time, made it worry free for me. My hair and makeup turned out beautiful! I was sad that it fell out a bit during the night but that just means I had a good time. Chassie was amazing, I could not recommend her services more!
Choosing them was the best decision I made on my wedding!
Chassie was incredible! There’s not enough words to thank her for the amazing job she did.

utiful I’ve never felt prettier. She knew exactly how to do my make up for my face which is something I do not take for granted.
Besides that, she kept calming me down and helping me in every way she could. It was caos but she held my hand all the way through.
She even helped the groomsman with their boutonnières which none of us had any idea how to put on lol.
I hope my review helps you make the decision of choosing her, you won’t regret it!

me (and didn't charge me a cent). She made me look beautiful on my big day, graciously squeezed in my MIL's hair and makeup (and made her look lovely, as well!) and was such a pleasure to work with. You can't go wrong with Crown of Glory Beauty!
Chassie is an incredible artist and i felt beautiful! Everyone raved about my hair! Thank you for an incredible day!

est of the day was then full of peace and joy. Absolutely incredible!!!
My hair held up so well. And the makeup was the perfect adjustment from the trial and also held through the end of the night so well.
Chassie uses great products and has a long history of experience. She helped us make a great day of schedule and followed through with it. And above all she was fun to be with!
I want to let you guys know just how much Jenna loved her morning and the way her hair and makeup turned out! Thank you both so much for your prompt responses, attention to detail...
, and the beautiful work Chassie did to start Jenna's day off so well.

anted to keep things safe, and Chassie definitely helped to create that type of space that was safe, clean, professional, and warm! I loved how she made me feel so comfortable and at ease on this day, as well as beautiful and ready for the wedding and photos throughout the whole day. We had our ceremony in July in my parents Houston backyard and took our couple photos that evening at a local park - all that to say her work on my hair and make-up stood the Texas heat test! We were very blessed by Chassie, and I would highly recommend her business to others!
Chassie created my dream bridal updo for my wedding day!! She is a great communicator who really works with you to create the style you’re looking for. She also did my bridesmaids/...
mother’s hair and they all looked fabulous. It was really important to me to have wedding vendors that I felt comfortable around. Chassie is super down to earth and super easy to work with!

Chassie is the absolute BEST in everything she does! If you're reading this review, you should just book her already :)

hair and make-up for special occasions. Most of the artists I've worked with tend to be a little heavy-handed and go with their own instinct/direction of what they think looks best. But boy was I glad to have chosen Chassie to do hair and make-up for me and my ladies!
Not only is she a great listener, she's so wildly talented, sweet, and easy to be around. Something so calming about her presence, I was relieved to have her by our side on the big day. She made me feel like an absolute QUEEN! Oh, and the hair and make-up lasted all night long :) definitely one of the best decisions I made for my wedding... I hope you do too!

el beautiful and was so patient with me when I would change my mind split second! The makeup she uses is clean and natural which makes my skin happy and feeling amazing the next day. This girl is truly the bomb at what she does and if I get the choice I’d pick her every time.
Thank you Chassie for making my wedding day perfect !!!

knowing, she also is so down to earth, silly and genuine. Not only will Chassie leave you looking and feeling beautiful, she will leave you as a new friend! I highly recommend using Chassie on your big day and any special occasion you have coming up!

d periodically check in with me to see how the process looked. I’ve heard horror stories of make up artists doing too much make up to where you don’t even look like yourself. The end product made me feel like I was me but amplified. Her prices were also very fair for both hair and make-up. She doesn’t require you to set up a trial appointment. I know that can be risky but she was definitely worth the risk.
Chassie did a wonderful job with the family and bridal party at our wedding in Austin. She was very professional and really listened to what each person wanted. As a bride, her pra...
ctice/run through was amazing. She did everything that I wanted with my hair and makeup! I would definitely recommend her and would use her again in a heart beat!

s organized on the day of and had a schedule of hair and make up services set up for each person. Prior to the wedding, we had a trial run of hair and make up where she tried a few different options for me and we decided what would look best with my dress. She took such great care of me, my mom, and my bridesmaids and even came to the venue for final touch ups on us all before the ceremony started. Her pricing was very reasonable and affordable too! I would definitely recommend Crown of Glory for wedding day services.
