John was absolutely incredible to work with. From the start, he was extremely organized, professional, and genuinely kind, which made the entire experience feel easy and comfortabl...

He also has such a calm presence and immediately felt like someone we had known for years, which made being in front of the camera feel very natural. We threw a lot his way over the course of the weekend, and he handled everything with total ease. We also gave him a very limited window for posed photos on the wedding day, and he absolutely crushed it. He worked efficiently without ever making us feel rushed and captured so many beautiful shots in a short amount of time.
John is truly excellent at what he does and has an eye unlike anyone I’ve ever met. He has an incredible ability to capture moments in a way that feels natural and special. He photographed both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding, and we are so grateful to have had him there for both. We could not recommend him more.
Absolutely incredible experience working with John! We booked him for our engagement and wedding sessions. He has a warm presence and our shoots felt like catching up with an old f...
riend! He has a great way of connecting with couples, and really capturing your story perfectly. He was on top of the schedule, and his turnaround time for photos is awesome! We will cherish this collection of photographs forever. ❤️ 10/10 recommend, he’s a storyteller through and through!
John is an amazing photographer and person who exudes good vibes! We feel very lucky to have found him at random.

ur wedding, but we feel like John, alone, was able to capture all our special moments solo. We had originally booked him for our wedding photos only, but after seeing so many amazing photos from his Instagram we decided to also have him do our engagement photos as well and we were absolutely thrilled with both.
Our wedding day was amazing - his calm and easy going demeanor made it wayyy less stressful. He made it fun for everyone involved while keeping all the shots we wanted on schedule while patiently wrangling the wedding party (a gift on its own). Importantly enough, his input helped significantly with our overall wedding timeline.
His dedication to his art is apparent as he takes time to scout out the locations prior to sessions. He was extremely communicative, easy to get a hold of and detail oriented. We had several phone calls, which he'd proactively scheduled, to make sure all the details were correct and had us fill out a questionnaire to ensure he was straight on exactly what we had envisioned.
We've already recommended him to everyone we know with special occasions on the horizon! 10/10 amazing, you will not be disappointed with By John Allen!
John was by far the best photographer I’ve ever worked with. He is easy to be around, kind, funny, and full of experience!! He reached out way in advance and let me know exactly wh...
at to expect from him and what my part looked like for the day of. He got in contact with my day-of coordinator to discuss timeline details. It felt easy and effortless, and for me as the bride, that was everything!!
The day of the wedding he showed up early and was rolling through the getting ready pictures without a hiccup! Us girls were laughing and just comfortable in his presence. My husband and his groomsmen had said the same thing. The pictures were epic. You can really see everyone’s personality.
Getting the pictures back was just so fun. As I was going through each one my emotions changed from crying to laughing. They were stunning in every way. He took some of the most magical pictures when I didn’t even realize he was taking them. The moments he captured were perfect and I am just so grateful we decided to go with John! The style, lighting, and angles were exactly how I pictured. I feel like my guest could really be themselves around him, and it shows in every single picture.
I cannot say enough good things about him! He is truly an amazing photographer and an even greater human! I’d recommend him a million times over!!
John did beautiful work with our wedding pictures. His style is timeless, elegant, and still modern. What he delivered is exactly what we loved about his portfolio. He was super co...
mmunicative and invaluable in helping us break down the best schedule for the wedding day to accomplish all the photos we were looking for. My now husband broke his ankle a week before the wedding and while that was stressful, I knew John would be able to capture the hilarity of the circumstances as well as gorgeous photos where you'd never know my husband was in a boot! I can't recommend him enough. A++
John was our favorite vendor we worked with through the entire process, from planning and getting our engagement photos to leading up to / the actual wedding day.

We love the photos he got of us and does a great job of directing shots so you don't have to worry about what to do or how to pose. He was also one of the best communicators we worked with and was always super responsive.
Thank you John from Scott and Lindsey : )

pliments from family and friends. He gave great pointers and really matched the photos to our personalities as opposed to making them look staged. He was so communicative throughout the whole process and put an emphasis on making sure the photos we wanted most were captured perfectly. Thank you, John! ll us a couple of weeks before our wedding to go over details of what exactly we wanted out of our photos and different shot lists that were a must have. Our photos turned out so great and I cannot recommend him enough!

ed himself in the wedding. He was at once in the background and everywhere: totally present but absolutely unobtrusive. All of our guests raved about how nice he was and helpful he was. He was absolutely perfect day of: he really went above and beyond. And when we got the photographs, they were everything we could have wanted.
After reaching out to John, my wife and I scheduled a meet-up with him at a cafe in Austin so that we could get to know each other before the wedding day. Immediately, we were blow...

ork with. Not to mention his beautiful art. I think the most important piece of having a wedding is capturing the memories of your day and John did that for us exceedingly. We just want to say Thank you, not only for our beautiful photos, but also for keeping us calm throughout the day. I can’t express how happy we are to have chosen you for our special day. 11.6.2021
We had the absolute pleasure of having John Allen as our wedding photographer on May 7th 2021. Being a photographer myself, I know how much it means to me to have beautiful photos ...
and I know how much work goes into creating those photos. From the first time I talked with John about my vision for the wedding, I knew I found someone who does this because it is his passion. He wanted to make sure he captured everything I wanted to be captured before the day even happened which meant so much. He kept in touch with me up until the wedding day (he even texted me the day of the wedding to check in with me to let me know he will be arriving at our agreed upon time, which was amazing for me since I’m always a big worrier lol!) During the wedding John was able to capture photos that I myself didn’t even know I would have wanted. I got all of my photos back today and I couldn’t be happier. John made me and my husband laugh throughout the whole thing after the ceremony as he took photos of just me and my husband together. He spent his time making sure he got the best lighting, best locations for photos and made sure he got everything we wanted before the night ended. John is an extremely talented photographer who will capture the most beautiful photos for your wedding so please snag him while you can! :)

His eye for photography and getting that perfect shot is right on! I highly recommend John for not only a wedding, but any other special event that you want captured.
