iving the food delivery for the wedding attendants to making sure we, the wedding party, had what we needed through the day.  There was nothing Michelle would not do to make the bride and wedding party feel like they only needed to be present and enjoy the special day with the bride.  She was beyond prepared for our daughter’s wedding.  When we arrived at the venue Michelle was standing outside ready to receive the bride and attendants.  As she ushered us into the venue and up to a private room to wait for the photographer and groomsmen to arrive, we were in awe of how efficiently the setup was going under Michell’s oversight.  Michelle directed everyone like it was a dance and she was the choreographer. She was soft spoken, efficient, and we hardly knew she was there.  When a problem arose before the ceremony Michelle competently handled it without drama.  My husband and I would highly and without hesitation recommend Michelle and her business, bustle and lace, to be your wedding consultant. all which was supposed to be her primary job, disregarded our every wish and desire along the way and we felt like she actively pushed against us and everything we went into the planning relationship wanting versus trying to actually help execute our visions, didn’t take proper notes and kept going over the same things that she’d already somehow forgotten in every meeting, ruined our entire set up of where each sign or item was supposed to go, including religious items, ruining our cake cutting, having our bar look ridiculous, not using what we’d planned out for our reserved front row, not having vendors set up in the right places, ruining our grand entrance to our party and having our “just married” cart out for guests to take photos in the entire cocktail hour, causing me to miss the entire cocktail hour because the dress change wasn’t in the right room as discussed beforehand, allowing our signature drinks to be incorrect and not making sure our plates weren’t taken (a major worry that we talked about 100 times, so I ended up not getting to eat dinner at my wedding), throwing out our personal items and catering after shooing my bridal party away who was trying to help save some food as backup, not introducing her assistants despite promising she would, allowing all of our florals to be thrown away despite a plan for some of them to be saved in the fridge and her knowing I’d spent thousands on a floral preservationist and how important this was to us, all thrown in the garbage without a care in the world or apology from her despite over 3 conversations about the plan to save them, ruined our Ketubah signing and timing for photos, sent our bridal party and family off who were supposed to be waiting for us in the room for it, didn’t give out boutonnières, allowed our ceremony to start incredibly late without any communication to us or indication of time, allowed music timing to be completely wrong and the wrong first dance song version to play, ruined our hora and caused me to fall by bringing out a chair too early that we then had to get rid of, disrespected our table seating plan and f-ed it up completely missing spots, sat at the table with our closest friends so is now weirdly in all our photos, didn’t protect our gift box and personal items which she was supposed to move into the bridal lounge, was incredibly rude to my bridal party and family members who still to this day talk to us about how horrible she was. Everyone involved in our wedding talks about how she didn’t give an f and was off talking and not paying attention and how she was never anywhere to be found when anyone needed something. My bridesmaids continuously bring up how rude she was. We had a plan for a chair in the front row for a 9m pregnant bridesmaid and she allowed the videographer to set up on it. Didn’t clear the planned row to place him in the right place so we’re not missing video and photo from our dream angle and our entire precession wasn’t properly captured. She didn’t look at or distribute to the vendors the planning deck that I made that clearly indicated each bridesmaids hair and makeup inspo, which hmu said would have been a dream to have in advance, despite telling me she sent it to them she didn’t. She also didn’t tell them the set up plan, ruining my wife’s day plan.

She was communicative, very organized, and SO patient with us throughout the planning process. We ended up having the reception in our family's backyard and needed to change the plans for the caterer, alcohol, DJ, and cake all in the last few days. She went above and beyond and stepped up for us in the final days and hours before our wedding, and was an absolute superhero on our wedding day. The amount of work she did was phenomenal. Some extra details that stand out to us are: ●     All of the work and coordination to get things running smoothly a new venue in such short notice (and with all the changes that had to occur from our plan). ●     Her going out of her way to get my mom a meal for her dietary restriction ●     Pinning on the groom and groomsmen's boutonnieres ●     Sheltering the bride from the rain ●     Passing out appetizers  ●     Passing out cake ●     All of the myriad of things she did that we don't  even know about. The amount of work she did for us blows our minds. Choosing her was, in hindsight, the best decision we could have made!

This was only one instance of Michelle going above and beyond to ensure that our day was special and memorable. Another time she exceeded expectations came when a new COVID-19 requirement was placed only one month out from our wedding date. The mandate required our guests and vendors to take action and Michelle handled all correspondence needed with the tight timeline. Whether messages we needed to send or information our vendors required from our guests, Michelle held our hand through all of it. We cannot recommend Michelle enough - she is incredible!
