Brown Fox Creative

disappoint. Every single invitation was a work of art. The card stock was substantial, the printing flawless, and the colors rich and beautifully consistent. We opted for the belly band and wax seal, which took everything to another level. We genuinely felt like royalty sending these out. My only complaint was the envelope glue was a bit underpowered for the thickness of the suite so I used a glue stick to ensure they’d close.

but this was, without a doubt, the WORST part of planning my wedding. First of all, the entire purchasing experience is convoluted and opaque. The form they make you fill out is incredibly confusing. I asked Kristin if I could jump on a quick call with her to walk through it. Her response, “Unfortunately we only communicate through Etsy.” Great customer service, Kristin. Then we started getting proofs back. First of all, I entered all the information correctly in the form. They either misspelled things or wrote them completely wrong. For instance, on the initial form I put “Saint Patrick Cathedral.” She put “Saint Patrick Catholic Church” on the invitation. Our last name was spelled wrong on the envelope’s return address, and a few other things. So the lack of attention to detail was simply beyond anything reasonable. I had to ask for them to be corrected, and they counted them as proofs. We only got 4 proofs for free, so I was worried we were going to have to pay for more proofs even though the mistakes were on their end. Also, I wanted to see a proof of some gold thermography lettering, which cost more to do, to see if I wanted to pay the extra money for it. She said that they do not create proofs for something that we haven’t paid for. What kind of business tactic is that? Her excuse was that I could go on their website and see the process of gold thermography to help me decide if I wanted to pay for it. How is that a good business model? I’ll spare you the other frustrating details and come to the real kicker (as if what’s above isn’t enough to make you look elsewhere). The invitations finally came. Great day!! Except, not so fast. Because the INVITATIONS WOULDN’T FIT IN THE ENVELOPES. If you are a professional, charging people thousands of dollars, wouldn’t you have someone, I don’t know, confirm that the invitations fit in the envelopes before you send them to customers? Also, these were not custom invites. We chose an invitation suite that they offer on their website. To be fair, there was an apology and they got it fixed in 2 days, but no offer of reimbursement or anything to compensate for the inconvenience. And honestly, they still were not the invitations I dreamed of having. They were not good, thick paper, but flimsy and bent easily in the mail. I went along with it because we had already paid in full (which is what they required, I saw nothing about putting down a deposit or anything) so we made the best of it. I wholeheartedly DO NOT RECOMMEND Brown Fox Creative. Honestly, go to Minted.com before you even consider using this business. The lack of attention to detail, complete disregard for customer service, incompetence and lack of thoroughness of Brown Fox Creative made for, as I said, the WORST experience of my entire wedding.

he sample, I ended up selecting the darker green ink color for our font so that our older guests had an easier time reading them. The overall quality of these invitations was top tier! I also really appreciated how many reviews I had of the invitations and envelope addressing prior to giving my final approval. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop for your wedding invitations!

ality.
