About this vendor
Based in Greenville, SC, Brooks Dixon Band is a live music entertainment group that consists of up to five musicians at a given time. In addition to a wide variety of cover songs, they also have a wide catalog of original music, meaning that hosts of wedding events can avail of something truly unique to their occasion. Brooks Dixon Band can bless the crowds’ ears with a variety of popular songs from every decade from 1950s all the way to modern-day.
Brooks Dixon, the band frontrunner, first performed his own music live in 2012. Since that time, he has gone on to release an EP in 2014 and a second EP in 2016. His signature singer-songwriter style was given an Americana persuasion through the addition of a band, adding a robust sound to his performances. As a fully formed group, they released a single in 2017 and another EP in 2018. An album released in 2019, showcasing the band’s upbeat and fun style throughout its soundtracks.
Couples can request a specific song to be played at their wedding and Brooks Dixon Band will learn it especially for them per request. The group is able to accommodate clients throughout the southeast and they look forward to adding to their over 500+ performances as a group. Depending on the hosts’ needs, the band can be set up as a solo performance or a full six-piece ensemble. These details can be discussed in a consultation, and Brooks Dixon Band looks forward to working with celebrating clients as they prepare for their big day.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Brooks Dixon band. We had the full band at our wedding and they simply made our reception unbelievably memorable. They learned a speci...
al song for our first dance, and it’s one of our favorite memories. They also already knew the songs for the mother/son and father/daughter dance. The variety of songs they played allowed our guests to enjoy the dance floor all night long. Our only regret was we didn’t have a longer reception. We now make every effort to go see them play around town as much as possible. Book them- you won’t regret it!

today’s most popular songs were spot on. Our family and friends are still taking about how great of a reception it was and a huge part of that is due to the band. If we were to do it again, we’d book them again in a heartbeat beat.

hey were easy to work with, responsive to all communications, and very friendly. We’d highly recommend asking for a last dance - they performed an acoustic last dance song for us at the end of the night that was a highlight of the day. 10/10 would recommend!

he band took the time to learn songs we requested for our first dances (including both Brooks playing the piano after not playing in years and working with my brother to surprise my dad for our father daughter dance)! The care that Brooks and the band exhibit to their clients is just unmatched! They are also so much fun! We had so many people come up to us during and after the wedding saying they never dance at weddings but had to purely because of the band! The band was the perfect choice for our wedding and I would book them 100x over again!

ase (including a COVID reschedule). We got endless compliments about how great the party was and how many people stayed all night to dance with us, and that's due entirely to Brooks and the band!

the ceremony, live acoustics during dinner and finally the full 5 piece band for reception. All our guests could not have complimented them more . All I had to do was give them a few songs I wanted and the vibe the rest they planned perfectly. 10/10

ely flexible throughout the entire planning process. He even agreed to play “America” by Neil Diamond and made it sound like perfection. I’m pretty sure my husband teared up when he heard it. We would recommend the Brooks Dixon Band for literally any event!

ge Mountains backdrop of the venue. From the moment we reached out to book him regarding our wedding, he was very responsive to emails/calls, and accommodating. He even learned our first dance song by request. Highly recommend!
They were perfect! The right vibe for the wedding, but kept it fun. They also learned an acoustic version of my first dance song - which is a very uncommon song. I loved them!!!
Brooks was very easy to communicate with from the start. The band had a great selection of songs to pick from and the process was very simple! It poured down rain on my wedding day...
so there were a lot of last minute changes and the band was great at going with the flow. Their sound and appearance fit the vibe of my wedding just perfectly and I couldn’t have been happier with them!

ongs for dances, and even a bonus song they made it sound better than the original. Easiest people to work with the talent is incredible. We’ve been married for a little over a month now and still have people talking about how incredible the band was. If you want a band that will wow your guests and not your typical “electric slide” folks these are the guys for you- I’m sure they would learn electric slide if asked and they’d play the best version you’ve ever heard of it. Great band 10/10! Biggest regret was not booking them longer. They brought the party that no one wanted to end. Thanks guys!
Brooks & Brooks Dixon Band was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding day! We got everything we wanted out of a band with them. They were wonderful! Such a great ...
group - lively, talented, and all around great group of people. We thoroughly enjoyed having Brooks Dixon Band as a big part of our wedding day. Once they started, we didn't want to leave the dance floor. From the ceremony music to cocktail hour to the reception, they did a wonderful job! Without hesitation, we would highly recommend to others! The communication before the wedding was great and they made sure to include every aspect we asked of them. We were so very pleased with them all. We cannot thank them enough!
Brooks is a true professional, his crew rocks out and he brings the right vibe to every wedding!
Brooks played our cocktail hour and was professional, helpful, and extremely nice. Really highly recommend him!
Such a great band with great vocals and loved having the saxophone! Would 10/10 recommend to friends/family!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5 stars ALL DAY! Brooks & his band were phenomenal. I loved having the female vocals and the guy with the saxophone included in our wedding band. They’re great at vibing ...
with the wedding guests & feeling the energy of the room. Before the wedding, I was given a lengthy song list to choose from and I was pretty impressed of how many songs they could perform. They obviously had your typical wedding songs, PLUS a lot more! Everything was super smooth with them, easy to communicate with and Brooks even acts as an emcee which is helpful! I think a few of my friends even reached out to have them play at their weddings too. I highly recommend this band for your wedding or event!
Brooks was so easy to work with. We had great communication via phone and email. He and Sara played at my mini-wedding and brought so much joy and love to everyone. The songs they ...
played and sang were a perfect fit. If you're looking for a band, singer, or even just instrumental music at your wedding no matter the size Brooks is the person for you!
We booked the Brooks Dixon Band for our wedding reception back in October and the whole experience was a positive one, from the responsiveness before the event to the event itself,...
we cannot think of a single negative to say about Brooks Dixon or his band mates. They were fun and upbeat throughout the entire event, encouraging the guests to come out and dance with their own charismatic energy. Each and every member of the band were fantastic musicians. We had many guests wanting to know who they were and how we found them and some even asking if we knew where else they might be playing in the future so they could go to those performances as well. My brother has become a huge fan of the band, adding many of Brooks Dixon's originals to his main playlist. If you are in the area and are looking to a great band for your wedding, it will be in your own best interest to reach out to these guys.

th them. Then on wedding day, they blew us away. Everyone was like WHO IS THIS BAND/HOW DID YOU FIND THEM (from a more serious uncle to our most hipster friends). Nice mix of classics and new music w/their own spin, good volume and read of crowd. They got everyone dancing. Can't recommend more highly for any type of event or size of event (ours was 120 but I also hire for corporate events). Thanks Brooks
We loved having Brook Dixon Band! We had guests on the dance floor all night! Such a talented and fun band!

. They are skilled, and professional in their set up. Sound quality is good, and they were easy to work with. I was very happy with their performance, and so was my husband. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone who wants a band for their wedding or party. It changed the whole feel of the reception, in a great way. They even learned some custom requests for us!

were even better than I had anticipated! They were very professional and prompt to reply during the planning stages and on the day of my wedding gave a flawless performance. I am forever thankful for their impact on my wedding day!!

and when we heard the Brooks Dixon Band, we knew they were the perfect fit. Not only did they have a great song list, but they learned a few more for us and delivered an awesome performance. We had so many guests complementing them and by the end of the night many requesting CD's. Our only regret was that we weren't able to listen to them more since we were busy being shuffled around. Can't wait to listen to them at more gigs around the area. One of the best and easiest decisions of the day. They really helped make our entire day perfect. Hands down recommend them!!!
