Brooklyn Girl Bakery

ana cake is TO DIE FOR!

se we had a small wedding with only 30 guests, but I reached out on a whim—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I connected with Peri, she was so lovely, reassuring, and wonderful to work with. She made it clear that no wedding is too small for a dream cake, and I couldn’t have been more excited. In the summer, we set up a cake tasting with options from different bakeries, and honestly, Brooklyn Girl Bakery was the clear winner—it wasn’t even close! The flavors, textures, and overall quality were simply unmatched. We decided on a beautiful two-tiered cake with the most incredible flavors: 🎂 Banana cake with salted caramel frosting 🎂 Lemon cake with raspberry jam and cream cheese frosting Just wow! Every bite was absolute perfection, and it was a huge hit with our guests. We were also so excited to take home our anniversary cake… but let’s be honest—it didn’t make it to our anniversary. More like our monthiversary! 😆 We truly cannot thank Peri and Brooklyn Girl Bakery enough for bringing our dream wedding cake to life. If you are searching for a gorgeous, delicious, and expertly crafted wedding cake, look no further—this is the bakery for you! Thank you, Peri, for making our wedding even sweeter!

mend to any bride!

tely delicious. For our cake, it was not only beautiful, but also tasted incredible. We received so many compliments, and the flavors were amazing. Peri was a joy to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for a better cake experience. Highly recommend her for any special occasion!

mely professional and the cakes were delicious.

is easy to reach and work with! A few texts back and forth, photos of what we’re looking for and the total number of guests and we were done! I highly recommend!

Peri was extremely quick to answer any questions we had, and we recommend working with her. You won’t be disappointed!

our venue (Brandywine Manor House). From the very first meeting with Peri, she took my vision and made it a reality. I wanted a cake with specific details - white marbling, textured tiers and gold accents. Peri immediately sent me different pictures with options to choose from and she nailed it!! As for the cake flavors - these were just WOW! We were able to select 4 different flavors for each tier (banana cake with salted caramel cream, peanut butter cake with Nutella cream, strawberry cake with cream cheese, and raspberry cake with lemon). We also received a 1-year anniversary cake to take home with us and I asked Peri to surprise us with the flavor - Can’t wait to dig back into her amazing cake on our first anniversary. I highly recommend Brooklyn Girl Bakery for your wedding cake!

with raspberry filling we chose, but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Thank you, Nicole & Eli

work with. When we first saw the cake, I think both of our jaws dropped with how stunning it was! It was beyond anything we envisioned. It was perfect! So many folks still bring up how phenomenal it tasted - truly delicious. Highly recommend on all fronts!!

for the first time at the reception venue we were blown away; it was exactly what we were looking for! We were on the fence about ordering a cake since our venue had desserts, and we are so glad we added this special touch to our day.

reate something exactly how we asked. We cannot thank her enough and highly recommend her to EVERYONE!

eri was kind enough to add an almond flavor to her set of six tasting cakes, and it blew us away. She also accommodated the request for almond funfetti, which was a fun, personal twist that helped set our cake apart. The decorations were simple and gorgeous, and Peri was fantastic with helping us design the perfect cake for our day. We were lucky to take home some leftovers from the venue and spent the rest of the weekend eating tons of cake, and loved every bite!

d icing flavors are offered, and she also perfectly recreated the design of the cake based on the picture we sent her. We would definitely recommend Brooklyn Girl Bakery for your wedding or event!

wer our questions when deciding on a design and flavors. The design that we agreed on was exactly what we discussed, and it looked so beautiful. All of the flavors we chose were just as delicious as they were when we did our tasting. If we’re in need of another special-occasion cake near the area, we would choose her.

sure we were able to taste every sample we wanted. She was very easy to work with and extremely professional. On the day of our wedding, our cake tasted amazing and our guests were raving about it! I would absolutely recommend Brookyln Girl Bakery.

was so great to work with from the tasting and ordering the correct number of cupcakes for our large wedding to delivery. We had to-go containers out with the cupcakes and they were almost all gone by the end, the guests loved them so much. Would recommend whole-heartedly!!!

from PA. Our guests absolutely loved the cake and we could not have asked for better.

ceeded my expectations! She responded very fast to all of my questions and I highly recommend her to everyone!

’t want it to look like a birthday cake. Peri nailed it. The color was perfect. The attention to detail was great. Loved the birds. The cake flavors were all wonderful. Everyone enjoyed this cake so much there was nothing left. And I was worried I was gonna have too much cake left over because of the grand size. Not a single piece was left. Was great!!!

s great to bounce ideas off and really helped me fine tune my vision. Highly recommend!!

t ideas come from Pinterest We provided Peri with an inspiration picture and made our vision come to life. All three tiers were made Of different flavors and cake and tasting them were amazing. It was definitely a highlight of our wedding and couldn’t of been any happier!

d and really made us feel like we were in such great hands leading up to our wedding. It was such a relief to hang up the phone with her and feel like we didn’t have to even think about the cake anymore. We picked up our samples and took them home which we really preferred over in person because we could take our time deciding and comparing. Everything was delicious and we wound up choosing chocolate chip cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting (this frosting is soooo good) marble cake with cream cheese, and lemon cake with raspberry buttercream for our day. One of the things we loved was that you can choose a different flavor for each tier. Not every bakery will let you do this for some reason but we were so glad to have the variety. We got so many compliments on the cake on our wedding night and Peri even makes you a separate tier to save for your anniversary so you don’t have to worry about saving the top tier. The cake itself was beautiful and was EXACTLY how we pictured it. You will not regret choosing Peri for your wedding day!

was so great to work with; super responsive and attentive. We will be using her in the future for sure

ious the cake was. We enjoyed choosing a different cake flavor for each tier. The cake was decorated beautifully. Highly recommend!

e immediately knew we wanted her to make our wedding cake. She’s super friendly, reasonably priced, and gave us a separate small cake for our first wedding anniversary! She guided us through recommendations and cake designs! I can not recommend her enough!!

FAR Brooklyn Girl Bakery was the best. We were not disappointed! We had cookies, cake and cupcakes at the wedding - NOT A CRUMB LEFT!! (we had more than enough for the guests) The presentation was beautiful, the taste - even better. Peri is a pleasure to work with - flexible, knowledgeable, reasonable! Brooklyn Girl Bakery is a MUST - your guests will love you for it!

s where you want to go!!

d like a piece of artwork, and I have a fine arts degree. She took our inspiration and ran with it! Second and most importantly, this was great wedding cake — just the right texture, rich flavor, and really good icing (cream cheese-based). We got the extra tier to save for our anniversary and let's just say only two slices are going to make that journey. She was both a pro and friendly to work with and was in and out of our wedding venue without us even seeing her arrange the flowers. Thanks Peri!

vision come to life and nailed every detail we asked of her. We had a small two tier cake and a bunch of Halloween cupcakes, it was perfect! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone for any event! :)

per easy. And of course the most important part, the cake was PHENOMENAL. We went with classic chocolate and vanilla layers with a buttercream frosting. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. Our guests loved it as well!! We will definitely be recommending Brooklyn Girl Bakery from now on.

from her!

recommend.

ooklyn Girl Bakery for any event!

ent flavor and filling and were all amazing. The guests were obsessed and couldn’t wait to take the leftover bagged cake home with them. Peri is so accommodating and easy to work with. She helped me come up with the design for my wedding cake based on some inspiration photos and was also quick to offer advice and suggestions about how I was thinking of serving the cake. I will continue to use Brooklyn Girl for all of my sweet treat needs! Thank you, Peri!

lly be able to have our special day on 9/12/21. Each time we had to postpone Peri was more than happy to rearrange our date. She was a pleasure to work with. More than a year and a half later we both had forgotten exactly how the cake was going to look but were SOOO pleasantly surprised with how amazing it looked. She added a bit of flare to the bottom to represent our love for fishing. We used the cake topper that my grandparents used on their wedding cake 50 plus years ago and it was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen. All of our guests raved over how delicious it was. An uncle even told me the next day he enjoyed it so much that he was able to find 5 pieces to have! Haha! Thank you so much Peri for helping making our wedding special!

helped bring our vision to life. The cake turned out beautiful and was absolutely delicious. Everyone raved about it. Thank you so much!!

uster groom cake and it was fantastic!! I would definitely recommend her for wedding cakes!

DEVINE!!! We also got chocolate chip cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate cake with raspberry and banana with caramel frosting and they were all amazing.
