Karen was so amazing to work with and I was so glad I went with her as opposed to using the resort. While she is expanding her business in Texas, she is constantly going back and f...
orth between there and Mexico (where I contracted her services) which shows how committed she is to the base she established previously and the one she is trying to grow. ,
7 of us were booked for hair and make up that day and Karen and her team where so gracious and welcoming. She had little snacks and champagne for us which was a nice treat and helped ease the stress of the day. Her work was great. Everyone loved their make up- it was flawless and dramatic without being too much or unnatural. Everyone's hair held up the entire day and night (and even the next morning) which says a lot with the heat and humidity in Mexico in the middle of August. She uses great quality products that leave you feeling amazing so I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone that provides high quality service and also is personable enough to make you feel at ease and ask questions about styles and such.
I know Karen does makeup for weddings but on this occasion she did a small class for me teaching me how to apply my own makeup. I know basics but she went in depth on techniques an...
d best ways to do my eyebrows, contouring, foundation, using the applicators etc. The best part was the I learned how to do my own makeup the right way . I couldn't believe after I was done with the class that I was the one who did that makeup on my face. I will recommend Karen to any lady wanting to learn more on doing their own makeup and needed the hands on help with someone right next to them.

So many good things to say about Karen! Being a hairdresser myself I was very nervous but she went above and beyond what I could’ve ever imagined! I felt amazing on my wedding day...
and I would highly recommend air brush make up. My hair and make up stayed perfect until the end of the night!
I got married in Playa Del Carmen in 2017 and looking for a hairstylist was very important to me because I have long curly hair and tropical weather doesn’t always agree with me. I...
came across Karen Lo through a FB group from the resort I was staying at. She had great reviews. She arranged transportation for me and my bridesmaid. We kept in communication via email and I sent her photos of my hair and what I wanted for my wedding day. She was on time for our appointment and offered us mimosas! I had an updo photo from Pinterest and she nailed it! My make up was soft and beach ready. I got sooo many compliments on my hair and make up. I highly recommend Karen Lo. She is sweet and always keeps you in the loop.
