Alyson at the NJ location made me feel so special the moment I walked in the door. I was dreading dress shopping because I am not a fan of shopping in general, and as a fluffier br...
ide, I especially thought I wouldn't get to have the same experience a traditional bride would have in a standard bridal store. I was so so wrong. The asst took me and my guests back to an area with a big couch and spacious dressing room, (and a fan!) and Alyson came back and sat on the floor criss-cross applesauce like we were just girlies hanging out! But we were already off to a good start. She asked me a bunch of questions about what I liked or didn't, photos of things I had in mind, budget, etc. And once she had what she needed, in the blink of an eye, dresses started filing into the dressing room - she was so knowledgeable about the inventory that she didn't even need a second to think about what would work best with my feedback. There were of course some dresses that on the hanger weren't for me, but I trusted her and tried them on anyway, and every one taught us something different about my perfect dress. When I called to make my appt, the receptionist said that most brides find their dress in the first 90 minute appt and don't usually have to come back for another to keep looking. I admit - I scoffed, and I didn't believe that and thought they were just tooting their own horn. Except they should toot louder because they pleasantly proved me wrong. It all came down to the very FIRST dress I tried on and the very LAST dress I tried on over a series of about 7. So there was a 50/50 shot the first dress Alyson grabbed was The One - so impressive! But the last dress really was the closer. It was so beautiful and so Me and I still got to have that moment of really feeling like a bride that I didn't think I would get. It was really just such a lovely and surprisingly fun time. I knew I'd end up in tears, but I didn't expect happy ones. Alyson made me feel so comfortable and so beautiful the whole time - in my skin, in the dresses. I drove 2.5 hours up there with my fingers crossed as a recommendation from a friend who had a positive experience there, and now I'm paying it forward. Don't walk - run.

All their dresses are gorgeous and the options are endless. ve, and the stylist was incredibly attentive, helping me find the perfect dress that matched my vision. When I found "the one," it felt like it was made just for me. Farzaneh did a phenomenal job on my alterations and even gave me her phone number in case I needed to contact her, as I lived over 200 miles away from the boutique. The staff at Brides by Young were not only professional but also warm and supportive. If you're a plus-sized bride-to-be, I highly recommend Brides by Young. They'll go above and beyond to ensure you find a dress that makes you feel stunning on your big day.

hing for plus-size women who normally don't have a lot of options. I felt so welcome and comfortable at the store and didn't feel self-conscious at all while working with my consultant. They were so gracious in allowing my bridesmaids and mom to bring in champagne while I tried on dresses and really involved them in the process. My first time there I didn't think I would find my gown but I did. However, my mother in law wasn't present for this as she came in the day after to go shopping some more. The store graciously allowed me to come back the next day and show my future mother in law different dresses so she could too share in the experience with me. I was so grateful for this. I had such an amazing experience with this store and highly recommend it to anyone.

ies, fears, and worries began to settle. Laura (my stylist) took the time to get to know me personally. She listened to what I hoped for in a dress: the feeling and the look. All the dresses she pulled had some element of what I wanted in my dress. She saved the best for last! I said yes to my dress and I am so excited to walk down the aisle feeling beautiful and confident. Not to mention, I can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction when those doors open!

feeling of what I wanted and I felt heard. I wanted floral and elegant dresses. She listened when I told her what I was comfortable with. She pulled 7 dresses for me to try all meeting my expectations and they were ALL beautiful dresses I felt beautiful in all of them. The conservations we had were genuine and it was like I was talking with a friend. When Kate had me try on my dress it was one she had pulled that I was not quite sure about as it was fitted. She told me to trust her and oh my gosh was she right. I went in with a certain style in mind but ended up finding my dream dress in a style that was unexpected I could not recommend this place more. I am so happy I said yes to my dress and when they tell you that you just know when it's your dress they are right. I ugly cried so hard
