Bridals by Lori

out 8 dresses to try. After trying these on, my consultant Flo who had been very attentive found a dress that she said had “all the elements you have liked so far and none of the ones you don’t.” I put the dress on and was in awe. She had NAILED IT! It was exactly what I had in my mind, but couldn’t articulate. Flo had paid attention to everything I had said and done that day and helped me find my dream dress. The entire appointment went smoothly from start to finish and I found the perfect dress. My dress and veil were ordered and deliver in the specified time frame just as promised. Everyone at the shop was friendly and accommodating every time I called of went in. I was even able to take my niece (who is a huge fan of SYTTD) in when I picked up my dress and she got to meet Lori. Wonderful service and experience! Thank you, Bridals by Lori!

made being a beautiful bride so easy!

ehaved as well, you can tell by the catty responses to reviews on this forum itself! Avoid like plague.

said yes! I got my alterations done with them as well and the team made sure I felt comfortable and confident in my gown. Can't recommend them enough!

by my future sister in law who got a dress here in the early 2010s, so this was the first place I visited. I'm not sure if she was an exception, or if the quality progressively became worse as the years went by, but either way would not recommend. Prior to the appointment, you fill out an initial form online, followed by a form day-of. I was initially excited that the person helping us would know about what I was going for as a future bride only to find it was evident she had spent 0 amount of time reading the form. The lady attending us was extremely judgemental and rude, making sneering comments about my preferences, and recommending dresses that completely missed the mark. She at one point even said "don't even bother" when I asked if I could see a selection (they are divided into sections by designer). Ironically after I finally looked, I found a dress that I really liked. The worst part of the experience wasn't even how the attendant treated me, it was how she treated my wheelchair-bound future mother in law. She basically treated her as an afterthought, and the few times my mother in law could get her attention she was dismissive of her. I can handle bad treatment, but I have a really low tolerance when this behavior is exhibited toward my future mother in law, who had envisioned a nice time bonding with her future daughter in law that day. The reason I didn't buy a dress is 100% due to the service of the attendant. I will forever hold a bad taste in my mouth whenever someone mentions this place.

t I had found my dress at Bridals by Lori, so I asked my future mother-in-law and aunt to fly in town for the designer's trunk show that was happening at the store 6 weeks later. It was important they rearranged their schedules to be there, as we were told the designer rep would be in town from NYC, they would be bringing next year's styles, and we would be subject to special trunk show discounts. When we arrived, the designer rep had already left town (it was a snow storm, but they could have called us to reschedule for earlier in the day or the day before...at the very least, an acknowledgement), there were NO new dresses (after I had sent a list of new dresses I wanted to try and received email confirmation that they would be present), and no mentioned discounts. However, after much deliberation, I ended up saying YES to the dress I originally fell in love with! Lori and her team knew very clearly that this dress was at the top of my budget, and when it was time for measurements, I was then told that this dress was going to be significantly more than what was listed to make a new pattern for the dress to fit me. Adding costs to this dress (excluding alterations) was never mentioned to us. After all, we were told discounts would be available because it was the trunk show. At this point, we asked Lori to be a part of the collaborative discussion, as we wanted to work through this to figure out how I could move forward with this dress. Lori comes into my dressing room, and as soon as I explained the situation to her and told her how upset I was by the entire experience, something changed. She turned the situation around on us, and yelled at us for our behavior. Lori continued to berate us, not let us get a word in, and after Lori told us we were not fit to do business together, she stormed out of my dressing room. In passing to my sister, she said "these people are crazy". The "people" she was referring to were my mom and me. I didn't even have a choice to buy the dress. Lori made the decision for me. Lori deprived me of a moment every girl dreams of. I had family come in town for a once in a lifetime moment. She took that moment away from me. Brides- I am warning you. DO NOT go to Bridals by Lori. There are so many inclusive, warm, wonderful bridal stores in Atlanta. You deserve to feel special and valued. I hope this review helps you find experiences that will make you feel that way :)

ate and was unable

d my initial appointment.

My suit was returned on time in their dropbox, but she wanted my name on it. Am I supposed to use my label maker to make her job easier? Each garment has a barcode, look it up. Each of my groomsmen had measurements from out of state tailors. She complained because each measurement wasn’t done in a uniform fashion the same way. So all groomsmen in different states were supposed to use the same tailor for fitting? Bridals by Lori staff was amazing, Sandra needs work. TLC or no TLC, I won’t be back if I have to deal with her.

d but honest with me. All of the staff were extremely kind. I would definitely recommend brides to try on dresses at Bridals by Lori!

so hard to make my vision come to life. I was so nervous going in but she made it so easy and comfortable! She was just as excited as I was! Also have to add that I had zero clue that Lori was on Say Yes to the Dress. She was very involved in all of the girls there, and she was super supportive and helpful!! The entire crew made it the experience of a lifetime. very happy that I found the one and that I chose Lori’s!!

of my box and when I did that I found my dream dress! It took me trying it twice. She added the vail and tears started to fly. This was my first time trying on dresses and I walked away knowing that I found my dress.

rience. When booking the appointment the staff was very thorough and sent a survey to gauge what I was looking for. My consultant, Allie, was super friendly and made me feel very at ease though I was not sure what I was looking for. She pulled some beautiful and amazing dresses and I initially put a deposit down on a gorgeous gown but it was out of my budget and much more elaborate than what I initially envisioned. Even though everyone was fantastic, I ended up cancelling my order later that day after realizing I wanted to stay true to my simple elopement feel. When I called to cancel there was no push back and staff was still kind and understanding, reassuring that it was important I was happy with my decision. I appreciate their kindness and friendliness throughout the entire process. The selection was fantastic and the dress I left behind was truly gorgeous and from Lori’s own in-house brand. I can see why they are so widely sought after for appointments. If we ever do a larger scale renewal down the road, I’ll be back for that big beautiful dress!

ss. I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you are looking for your wedding dress.

s place as possible. After spending almost $5,000 on a dress plus accessories, you can definitely be see that you are just a number to this business and your needs do not matter. Every customer service call after your initial purchase will be met with hostile employees, namely the manager, Robin. You will not be able to speak to Lori about any of these issues, as she does not communicate with customers (I was told this on numerous occasions, even though she was at and involved with my intial appointment). Give a deserving small boutique your business instead of this incredibly greedy company.

go to Bridals by Lori and they were the first salon to listen to me! As a unconventional plus size woman, I felt like I would never find something that had texture and shape outside of the traditional lace. My consultant stayed positive and came back to back with alternatives. Lori stopped by frequently, asked my name and made sure we were having a good time. The consultants cried with us and I have never felt more welcomed. Thank you Lori, Megan, Melody, and the many others who cared today for your amazing service and I can't wait to pick up my dress!

, so, so incredibly picky and I was not excited at all for dress shopping- I cannot express to you how kind she was and wonderful she made it for me.

helpful and professional to make sure that my wedding day attire was perfect.

ng consultant. She was so knowledgeable and sweet. The salon is beautiful and very organized. I had such a special time finding and saying yes to my dress at Bridals by Lori.

t I was the only appointment at that time and had the store to ourselves. Megan was helping us and asked what kind of dress I was looking for, after explaining the look I wanted and showing her a variety of pictures she said we could start exploring the various rooms and pick dresses we liked and she would do the same. My mom, sister, and I had a phenomenal time picking dresses to try. After trying a few dresses, I put on a stunning gown that was nearly identical to the dress my grandma wore for her wedding nearly 60 years earlier. It was my dream dress and I couldn't believe we had found it! Megan was a huge help, and Robin came and sat with my mom and sister listening to our stories and helping throughout. They gave me plenty of time to walk around in the dress, to sit, and to make sure it was comfortable. The fittings went smoothly, and the dress fit nearly perfectly right off the hanger! The seamstresses are magicians because they tucked and pulled and fit the dress precisely to me. The alterations were done quickly and easily, and I was given care instructions for how to make my dress look perfect on the day of my wedding. I have received countless compliments about my dress and the timeless look of it, and I could not be happier! Megan was terrific throughout the processes and we enjoyed every moment of it!

we set up an appointment at Lori's and we all flew in from 4 different states. Our experience was very negative and totally disappointing!!! Our consultant was super nice and knowledgable, but nothing at that store is like on TV. Monti happened to be there that day and he wouldn't even say "hi" when he walked by several times. Too arrogant for life!!! He was working on the same stage with another bride, so there would've been several opportunities to just make my daughter a nice compliment or just simply acknowledge her. One nice word would've gone a million miles!! Don't let the impressions you are getting from the TV show fool you to that store. Dresses are nice but not overwhelming and totally overpriced!!! We ended up buying the dress next day at ANYA BRIDAL - for a sixth of the price (!!!) and much more beautiful than the $14,000 dress at Lori's, plus we had the greatest customer service a bride and her family can expect. Plus they have 2,500 dresses to pick from in stock and in the store!

sses I liked perfectly fine but wasn't wild about, my mom convinced me to give it a try. There are so many dresses to choose from and in so many styles! It was a little overwhelming going through them all, frankly. I only found a handful of dresses that interested me, but that's all you really need! I ended up finding my dream dress here (unexpected tears included), and it was GORGEOUS—though also substantially over budget, so if you're on a budget, make sure to let them know not to let you try things on that are over that number. I also ordered my veil from here, which was custom made for me (I ordered one of theirs in a longer length and had them add more sparkle to it), and it was a dream. I would wear it daily if I could. Lastly, I used them for alterations and storage, which made everything super simple. The appointments are quick, and the seamstress is very knowledgeable. Give them a shot!

that had the majority of the ones I liked, and it had my favorite (most importantly). From the moment I made the appointment, until the moment I got home after buying my perfect dress, Bridals by Lori was so amazing. Robin was able to get the dress expedited, since my wedding is in a few months, Melody was able to ease my nervousness, and Flo got me into the PERFECT dress. Don't waste your time on any other bridal store. Go here and you WILL find your PERFECT dress, I promise you!

usy bridal salon, it can sometimes be hard to get in contact with people.

tock, staff was very friendly and professional, and the whole process was pretty simple. I felt that the staff also did a good job of balancing my expectations considering that I would not be able to attend the alterations fittings. They knew what I wanted done and not done to the dress, and the budget I needed to stay in and they managed that well even though I wasn't there to say no if need be. I also want to thank the staff for being courteous and friendly to my bridesmaid and her toddler when they came in as it isn't always easy to do a fitting with a toddler running around. Would definitely recommend.

own. Bridals by Lori was so accommodating for me and my guests while we were in town. I said yes to my dress and I cannot wait to come back in a few months. Thank you!!

nded. I guess it was because I paid in full and didn't just put down a deposit, but it was 59 days until my wedding and I had never heard from them, so I called and the response I got was, "Oh yeah, your dress is here." REALLY? Ummm... I might need to know that. Then, to add insult to injury - they told me my wedding wasn't happening until June and had mixed my date up with another bride's. Terrible. What ticks me off is, if I would have just put down a deposit instead of paying in full - I am POSITIVE I would have gotten a phone call letting me know my dress was in. And what makes it ALL the absolute worst is that I have complained in several reviews - I called on the phone and complained and have not even received so much as an apology or a "my bad." Nothing. If I were actually relying on them it would have been awful but it was fine because I had already purchased a new gown from Impression Bridal in Kennesaw - which was the most amazing experience!!! lesson learned. All that Say Yes to the Dress stuff is for TV they don't give a damn once they get your money.

were exactly my taste and what I was looking for. The first dress she put me in ended up being the one I bought and it was everything I could've asked for in a wedding dress. Highly, highly recommend Bridals by Lori and working with Megan!

he beautiful dress I ended up purchasing. I came in not really knowing what style dress I wanted, so Megan was great at helping me try a variety of styles and then we narrowed down into finding the perfect dress for me in that style. She pulled this dress (that ended up being THE dress) and it was just next level beautiful and was also well under my budget. My dress was from a trunk show and I ended up being the only person in the whole state with that dress which made me feel so special and unique. I highly recommend Megan as a consultant and also would highly recommend coming during a trunk show so you can get an expanded selection and access to unique designs only available in trunk shows.

y perfect dress without her! Thank you Flo and Bridals by Lori

mmend to any one that need a fantastic help to choose your gown and help you understand what will be really good on you. She is very honest on her opinion and wasn't on hurry to get us out of there. That was an amazing experience. Lori is the nicest person in the world , on the end of the appointment she was ready to take a picture with you. I want thanks everyone that help my daughter to SAY YES TO THE DRESS . You guys are amazing.

gether and ended up picking out my dress. I originally wanted an off-the-shoulder gown, but ended up falling in love with a strapless dress. Megan suggested adding custom lace off-the-shoulder "sleeves" to truly create the dress of my dreams. She went above and beyond to create a timeless, elegant, and standout gown. The only part of the process that I wish went a little smoother was the alterations process. With that being said - I would recommend anyone to go see Megan at Bridals By Lori! She is certain to make your experience just as amazing!

ss I was lucky enough to find Ashlen at Bridals by Lori. After several frustrating visits to other shops, I came here and found the 1 person that really KNOWS what she is doing! Ashlen was the only consultant to put me in a dress properly so I could truly get an idea of what it would look like. She was patient, honest and has a wealth of knowledge about any style of dress. She selected a few that I immediately loved. Together we were able to find the RIGHT ONE FOR ME! I cant tell you how happy I am that my dress shopping brought me to find Ashlen. You made me feel special, appreciated and truly looked out for what style and color worked best for me. You are terrific! I will DEFINITELY be back to work with you on the next dress purchases.

de me feel relaxed, comfortable and gave the most helpful advice as we went along. You are one lucky bride if you're matched with Hope as your consultant! Happy shopping!

with open arms. She was incredibly knowledgeable and because of her expertise, I found the dress of my dreams. She made my vision become reality! By adding a gorgeous lace bolero with bell sleeves to a stunning beaded gown, there was no turning back. We all knew in that moment "it" was the one. Thanks again Megan, Lori, and all of the wonderful people who work at Bridals by Lori!!

g gown. I was able to find the perfect dress for me within the first hour. Megan Lamonica was the absolute best bridal consultant and helped make all of my bridal dreams come true!

rent styles and hoping for that magical, aha moment. I liked quite a few dresses I had tried on at different salons, but I just didn’t love any … that is, until I went to Bridals by Lori. As soon as my mom and I arrived for our appointment, we felt right at home. Megan, my AMAZING consultant, came right up and talked through the “look” I wanted for my big day in great detail before we even got started. She was so professional, patient and genuinely happy to help us. My mom and I picked several dresses to try, but it was Megan who actually pulled my dream dress. The second I slipped it on, we all just knew—this was, undoubtedly, THE ONE. Every single detail was perfect. It was as if Megan had combined all of the elements I said I wanted into one gorgeous gown. I truly felt like a bride. My mom and I couldn’t stop smiling, and Megan was equally as in love with it! She made us feel so incredibly special, and I’ll forever be grateful for her guidance and all-around positive energy that day. It was a wonderful experience that I will cherish forever—my mom and I still love to talk about it and relive it! If you’re looking for a wedding dress, I HIGHLY recommend you book an appointment with Bridals by Lori! Not only do they have the most beautiful selection of gowns, but they also have the best people who are passionate about helping you find the dress of your dreams!

how to help you in every way possible! She will make sure you find the perfect dress for you and piece it together with all the right accessories! I can wait to wear my dress again! Thank you Megan and Bridals by Lori! #isaidyestothedress

needs, offered suggestions and was very patient. She was a true professional, paired with such kindness. I will definitely return!

made me feel like the only bride in the world and her passion truly shows! I had an entourage of 8 along with me and she helped navigate all of us and kept me loving every minute! She’s the one who pulled my dream dress- she took the time to put my thoughts and feelings into reality! Robin came over at the end and was so kind! She jacked me up and Megan asked the question! I still relive this moment! I would not have found my dress if it weren’t for them- I can’t say enough about how amazing my time was! We also came to Bridals by Lori for the entire wedding party attire! Ask for Gigi in bridesmaids- she will rock your socks! She’s so patient and helpful and helped us find the PERFECT dresses!! Over the past year, I’ve been to Bridals By Lori over 10 times and wish I had a reason to go more! I always feel welcomed and feel like family! I’ve run into Lori, her husband, and daughter and they are the sweetest! I absolutely recommend Bridals By Lori for all of your wedding attire needs, you won’t be disappointed!

aid I wanted A-Line, she continued to pull the biggest ball gowns I've ever seen. When I told her I didn't want to try on a HUGE dress she pulled, she was visibly offended. Acting like it was my loss for not doing what she said. She was so rough when she was helping me put on or take off dresses that she was ripping dresses left and right with no concern throughout my appointment. At one point she even held one up and said "This is a new dress. It isn't ripped...yet". Then immediately ripped that dress as she very roughly put it on me. I had red marks on my chest from pulling dresses on and off me so roughly. My family saw them and was obviously concerned. At one point she was pulling a dress onto my body from over my head, and she pulled my hair very hard. I told her she was pulling my hair, and she pretended not to hear me. This appointment was so awful, that even if they had the perfect dress I would NEVER buy it there. Save yourself the time, money, and aggravation by going to a salon that actually cares about your opinion and experience.
