Great experience here! I bought my wedding dress here after shopping at a few places. I showed the women helping me two dresses that I liked, I liked both of them for a different r...
eason. She went off and chose a few dresses for me to try on and the first one she chose I bought. It was perfect and exactly what I was looking for based on the two photos I showed this dress was the perfect in between! Amazing staff!
Bridals by Jodi is a lovely bridal boutique that offers a personalized experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease.

sional, attentive, and took the time to truly listen to my requests. Her thoughtful assistance made finding the perfect dress a seamless and enjoyable experience!
I bought the dress of my dreams here! Staff is friendly, attentive, and compassionate. Highly recommend!!
Love Bridals by Jodi! The manager Katie is so cute and fun and nice and made my experience wonderful. She was very kind about letting me come in for an appointment on my own to tr...
y on dresses before I brought in my mom and mother in law to officially say that I was " Down with the Gown". I ended up getting a second dress for my reception there as well AND two veils. Comparatively speaking the prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the dresses and level of personal attention you get while in the store. Overall it was a lovely experience and I wish I could do it again.
Katie did a wonderful job helping me find my wedding dress! I pulled some styles I thought I would like, but she pulled a few wildcards for me, which led me to finding my perfect d...

I found my dream dress here! The staff I think her name was Maggie was incredible. She let me dance around the salon when I found "THE" dress. She even teared up with me and my par...
ty. Cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a small bridal salon that allows privacy but still makes you feel stunning.
Found my dream dress here but did not like the alterations they referred me to.
If you’re looking to lose money then go ahead and book a dress appointment here. Especially when you did cancel, and they still charge you. This is what happened to me. In addition...
to a Facebook message I ALSO called the whole day before as well. They have read my messages and have done nothing to fix it. And to be fair, I never said “why” I had to cancel but all of a sudden they are messaging me saying congrats on finding your gown. I never once said I did, and they never asked me if I needed to reschedule or anything... I believe in customer service and I did give a notice. I attached pictures for proof as this isn’t even about the money, it truly is about the principal of what happened as YOUR COMPANY will charge a bride EVEN WHEN THEY DO give YOU a notice. Their emails also came to my spam. It’s truly not fair and more people deserve to know you will be taking their credit card before even visiting your store if you would like a weekend appointment. I’m a nice person, and tried to work this out with them but they clearly didn’t care by just not responding. They care about your money. Know that, and don’t book here.
When I first arrived at Bridals by Jodi, I was greeted and taken to a spot to sit with my guests who came to help me gown shop. After sitting for a few minutes my consultant came o...
ver and told me that I was to just go around and pick any dresses that I would like to try on. Not once, did she ask me what style I was interested in or offer any assistance in trying to pick something for me. My mother and I grabbed a few gowns and put them in the dressing room. The consultant stood outside and told me to put the dress on, and to let her know if I needed any help. I then would come out to display myself and the gown, and the consultant just stood there not offering any advice or opinions. The gowns were pretty, but some of the gowns were in rough shape and I didn't feel like a bride while shopping here. It felt as though I was helping myself try on some nice white dresses.
They made my experience amazing! I went in with an idea of what I wanted, but they knew what I wanted before I did. They were great for my bridal and bridesmaid needs. Would recomm...

I thought I knew exactly the type of dress I wanted. Bridals by Jodi was the second salon I went to that day, and I was feeling overwhelmed. The stylist was so patient and calming,...
not adding any pressure to choose or buy the same day. The salon is small but highly organized with a wide range of options. I ended up going back the next day and bought the dress of my dreams. The whole process was a breeze: fitting, delivery, alterations, pick up. I just can't say enough wonderful things about them. My dress was exactly what I wanted and fit perfectly. It was everything I dreamed of. I HIGHLY recommend going to Bridals by Jodi!

ress shopping, to the fitting, right up to when I picked up my dress. It was the first dress I tried on at the first place I looked for a dress and I am beyond happy I went there. Thank you bridals by Jodi!!!
The staff at Bridals by Jodi were extremely helpful and nice to work with throughout the engagement. Beautiful dress and excellent staff.
Victoria was wonderful! I dropped by on vacation without an appointment (after getting engaged in December I was finally back in Charleston: I had eyed this boutique for years!)! I...
tried on several gowns with my mom with me, and Victoria was so accommodating and kind! Thank you! (Cute boutique and good selection and pricing, too!!!) <3
My dress! Every. Single. Guest. commented on my dress!! Rachel is fantastic. I had a vision for the dress that I thought I liked, she kindly asked me to try another style that she ...
liked for me and it was perfect. I trusted her judgement and I am sure glad I did. The dress fit me perfectly and photographed like a dream. She gave advice for the dress and for the day and I couldn't have been more happy (nor could my mother and she is hard to please!). Wonderful!!
I got my dress from Bridals by Jodi in November 2017 for my October 2018 Wedding. For starters: the process was super smooth. My consultant gave me her full attention, was super ho...
nest and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. I felt that she made the experience personal to my unique needs and I was very pleased with the experience. I found the dress of my dreams. Fast forward to about 6 months later, I was waiting to hear if my dress had come in, having not heard anything yet, I gave the shop a call. Due to an oversight, they had missed the opportunity to call me to let me know my dress had arrived but they were very upfront and apologized for the mistake, offered to ship it to my home for free (I had since moved from Charleston), and even offered a very generous discount on the beautiful veil I had tried on with my gown. The management was quick to rectify their mistake without my asking, and I think that that makes them unique and helpful. We're all human and we all make mistakes, but the personable experience I had with Bridal's by Jodi, as well as their apt management of an oversight is what would make me choose them all over again and recommend them to any bride in the Charleston area. Also, their collection is beautiful and I was able to find a gorgeous gown in my fairly modest budget, but they definitely have higher end gowns as well, a wide range of options for a variety of budgets. They also offer discounts for purchasing the day-of your first visit so be ready to give serious consideration to purchasing your gown that day! I highly recommend Bridals by Jodi!
Had beautiful dresses and all of the staff were very helpful.
I loved the atmosphere and staff at Bridals by Jodi. They helped me find my dream dress and offered 10% for purchasing that day. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was becau...

t away that I would be back to Bridals by Jodi to say yes to the dress. Their staff is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about the different wedding dress designers. My entire experience with them was flawless starting with the ordering of my dress, to alternations, to steaming and having my dress ready for my wedding day. I cannot say enough positive things about Bridals by Jodi.

was not expecting to find something so quickly! Within the first ten dresses I tried on, I said yes! Rachel was absolutely fabulous! She was so easy to work with and a lot of fun! Overall, everything about Bridals by Jodi from the environment, the staff, and the great prices made wedding dress shopping such a great experience!

ecause this bridal shop makes it worth it. Throughout the chaos of wedding planning, the ladies truly make it an enjoyable experience. Their dress selection is amazing; their alterations are impeccable. We completely transformed the dress I bought. I am so thankful I found myself here. I cannot recommend enough.
I purchased my dress off the rack at Jodi's & the service was fantastic. I also worked with their recommended alterations place (deserving of a separate review). For several variou...
s questions, I ended up getting different answers from the employees at Jodi's than what the alterations place was telling me, so I ended up taking Jodi's out of the mix & dealt w/ the alterations place only.
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the selection was beautiful! It was my first and only stop to finding a dress!

just wanting to take in wedding dresses in general to see if I knew what I would want. I met Rachel who asked if I wanted to try any on, which surprised me because I didn’t even have an appointment. She was so sweet and helpful, helping someone so clueless and I trusted her to find the dresses. I tried on two dresses that day and one of them made me cry. I went back a month later with my mom and bridesmaid and she snuck those two dresses into the try on pile again. I ended up getting that very first dress that made me cry and couldn’t have been happier. I still get compliments on my dress months later when people see pictures of it because it was so unique and I wish I could wear it all the time!! All of her recommendations in terms of shoes, hairpiece, belt, etc were so helpful and spot on and the seamstress they work with did wonderful alterations. They steamed my dress and had it ready for the wedding and did a wonderful job cleaning and preserving it!
I loved my experience at Bridals by Jodi! I had such a great shopping experience and found my dream dress. Rachel and Betsy were great to work with!

esn't have a liquor license so don't go expecting to drink champagne while you try on dresses.
i had the most amazing time with hailey . thank yall so much for helping m find my dress
Customer service is over the top! I ordered a dress during tax free weekend and the Mori Lee trunk show. I bought a dress and the matching veil and detachable train. Couple months ...
later, I realized the train had to purchased separately. I was already crunched on time, so having to order train, I was scared it wasn't going to be here in time for my bridal portraits. Jodi's made sure it came in no later than a week after my dress and they even ordered the train for me at no extra charge because they did not catch the mistake earlier. They truly wanted to be sure that I had what I wanted!! Can't thank them enough.
I got married Memorial Day weekend and started looking for a wedding gown Summer 2016. One of my Bridesmaids suggested I attend the Morilee trunk show at Bridals by Jodi and coinci...
dentally it was tax free weekend; win-win! My MOH and I made an appointment and I must have tried on about 7 dresses. I fell in love with a gorgeous, ivory MoriLee gown and also purchased a belt and veil. One thing I really liked about BBJ is that they didn’t try and pressure me into purchasing my Bridesmaids dresses there. I had asked about alternatives to David’s Bridal, but once I explained that my 7 Bridesmaids are scattered across 5 states and 2 continents, they agreed DB is the better and more convenient choice for us. That way every Bridesmaid has a chance to try on their dress and order it locally. I loved that! All about what’s best for the customer and not just about sales. It took about 5 months for my dress to come in and due to my hard work in the gym I had lost 18 lbs and 2 dress sizes. The ladies at Bridals by Jodi reassured me they have the best seamstress and Nadia absolutely lived up to her reputation. She took my final measurements about 6 weeks before my wedding and you couldn't even tell the dress was ever touched and it fit like a glove. Perfection! Our wedding was featured on Southern Bride’s Real Weddings and I am so excited for our vendors. They truly deserve it!
We used Bridals by Jodi for our Bridesmaid dresses and had a great experience!
everyone was wonderful. the dress i found had the perfect back but i hated the front and Nadia saw my vision and altered the front and made my dress perfect. Everyone was so lovely...
every time I had a fitting. I highly

ses that I would have loved to wear for my wedding! After going places where I only found one dress, that I kind of liked (but you only need one!), I was so delighted and relieved to have so many good options. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive, but never pushy. After I picked my dream dress, we went back and they helped pick the perfect color and style of bridesmaids dress for my girls! I had a slight challenge with the first seamstress I was paired with through their shop (we had different visions for the alterations of the dress), I contacted the store, they totally understood, and took care of everything to switch me to work with a different seamstress. I would recommend Nadia for alterations, she was very friendly, listened to what I wanted, and did a fantastic job. I recommend Bridals by Jodi to everyone I know!
Betsy and Rachel at Bridals by Jodi were such a pleasure to work with while both finding and fitting my wedding dress. Their shop was very busy during one of my bridal appointments...
back when I was searching for "the" dress, and Betsy offered me a 10% off coupon for me and my bridesmaids (even though it wasn't my first visit to the shop) for being so patient. When my scheduled seamstress fell ill on the day of my first dress fitting, which my mom had flown down for, Betsy and Jodi were able to fit me into the schedule of their other seamstress (Nadya) who was working over at their sister shop White on Daniel Island that same evening.
I am very happy to have found Bridals by Jodi. Betsy and Rachel were both extremely excited for me throughout the process, offered a lot of much-needed opinions and support when it came to fittings, hair, veil, jewelry etc. in helping me to envision myself on my wedding day. I highly recommend this shop!
Rachel is amazing! Go see her!! I found my dress here and it is PERFECT!!!!! I cannot wait to wear it

nd gave me honest opinions to go along with my bridesmaids,. A few months later when we went bridesmaid shopping, she had pulled out a sample of my wedding dress so we could visualize my dress next to the bridesmaid dresses. This made the process so much easier! All of the ladies at BBJ made me feel comfortable every visit, and even when my appointment was pushed back, they went above and beyond to put me at ease. I got married a week after Hurricane Matthew and Betsy called me to let me know their process of protecting the gowns, but also giving me the option to come get it before the expected arrival of the hurricane. I thought this was very sweet, as I was all over the place trying to check things off the list as we were evacuating and the dress was not on it! Everyone was very polite and friendly not only to myself, but the 5 other bridesmaids who ordered their dresses from them. Would highly recommend!

he process was super easy. They did everything and kept me informed of when it was ordered to when it came in. The staff there are absolutely wonderful. They are personable, friendly, and want every bride, bridesmaid, or mother of the bride to have the best experience possible. I also got my bridesmaid dresses from them. Even though I had a little hesitation about the color of the dresses when they came in, they were perfect. They also have a seamstress that works with them so that took some of the stress off of me to find a seamstress for my dress alterations. I would recommend this bridal salon to anyone looking for a wedding, bridesmaid, flower girl, or mother of the bride dress.
