Brian Kinney Band

ht the energy and good time! I cannot thank them all enough as we had an absolute blast! There are a lot of choices out there for bands for your wedding, do yourself a favor and get these, I promise it'll be the best money you spend on your wedding day! Thanks Brain and band! We will have you back at the beach for a party soon! Thanks, Nick and Heidi!

exactly what songs to play at the right time. They entertain and interact with the audience. Everyone at our wedding couldn't stop talking about how good they were! Everyone was on the dance floor all night. Would highly recommend.

possible for me! I wanted to surprise my husband and sing the song we were going to dance our first dance to and Brian helped me coordinate that. We had a couple rehearsals together before the wedding to make sure everything was good to go and it couldn't have gone better. My father in law is also a musician, so he was able to get on the stage with the band and sing with the Brian Kinney band as well! It was an amazing experience and I owe it all to them! They are so incredibly talented, so much fun and kept my wedding guests dancing all night long! It was truly a night we will never forget!

stayed within the selections I requested. The band was energetic and engaging with the audience and can only sing their praises. DEFINITELY pay the extra money and get the horns!!!!! I am sure the band sounds great without this section but the horns add another dimension that you don't want to miss--save your money on something else (like linens and decorations) and ensure you get the best--I cannot say enough about these guys and the energy they brought. Totally made the party successful and EVERYONE agreed. You'll be happy you hired the Brian Kinney Band.

ed expectations. Everyone that stayed for the party expressed how much fun it was to have such a good band. I highly recommend them.

he 10 piece band was so worth it! We could not have been happier to have them at our reception and they were a highlight of the reception!

the wide variety of music we had requested. The experience was much better than we had hoped. Something for everyone from the very young to today's pop and a wide variety from "yesterday". The variety of singing voices combined with unending energy until the very last song was everything we could have hoped for. Weeks after our wedding we were still receiving awestruck comments revolving around how fun it was to have a live band. To Brian and his band; a heart felt "Thank You" from Heidi and Chad. To anyone looking for a "live" experience, you will not be disappointed!

every one of our guests was out on the dance floor at one point or another. They were engaging, entertaining, and a huge hit at our wedding. I highly recommend the Brian Kinney Band!

song! The band was a blast and brought up the crowd's energy. People gave us a lot of compliments after the wedding on our great band!

about for years to come! Brian was even on the tables singing! It was beyond perfect!!!

sang along with old favorites and even danced during the break music. Thank you for making the wedding party a HUGE success!

heir feet the entire night for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding and are still talking about the band a month later. Above all , the music is what they'll remember for years to come. Thank you Brian Kinney Band for making a special night so monumental!

🕺🏼We had so many compliments from our guests and enjoyed them very much!

raving about how tight the band was and the energy they brought to the dance floor. I cannot recommend them enough!!

accommodating.

cial requests that the band worked up. Brian has a wonderful personality...steps right up as front man & MC. And the band was GREAT! Everyone really enjoyed...got compliments from several guests...one even wants to book for an upcoming event! Beyond my expectations both musically & professionally. 110%!!!

d the crowd , and professional in all aspects. The entire band was pleasant to talk to and entertaining with the guests. They were all musically sound as well. I recommend them highly. It was our best decision to hire BK for my daughter's wedding.

ey Band are one-of-a-kind too! I highly highly recommend the BKB!

get the crowd into it and keep everyone entertained. Would definitely recommend.

hy he was so enthusiastic about them. Brian is kind and easy to work with. He listens well, and he also gives feedback when you ask for it. I know my wedding was a blast because of his presence and his band. They are all wonderful people who really perform their hearts out for you on your big day. They interacted with the crowd, and from the moment they started playing we had guests who never left the floor. People were always out there. We had the six piece band which was perfect for our wedding, but I would have love to have more! There's no doubt that Brian and the live band are a better experience. Nothing wrong with a DJ, but you will not regret having the Brian Kinney Band at your wedding! I am so grateful to all of them especially Brian for always making me feel important and for giving my guests a rocking good time.

ur reception to a whole other level, it is so classy and so much more fun. Dancing our first dance with Brian Kinney Band playing made for beautiful photos and our guests LOVED watching it. Our first dance was to, "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra and for the father daughter dance we did, "My Girl" by the Temptations - Brian Kinney Band absolutely NAILED both of them, and every other song they played all night - we were all so blown away by how good they were and people are still telling us "best wedding ever" because of this band! Our dance floor was packed all night, literally. Brian is incredibly kind, professional, timely and very responsive to e-mails, I was always able to get ahold of him immediately whenever I needed to ask a question. He arranged a meeting with us prior to our wedding and we went over the songs we wanted and exactly how we wanted things to go. On top of all this Brian has one of the best singing voices I have ever heard, and he is such a talented, natural performer. Brian Kinney Band was by far the best and easiest vendor to work with throughout our whole wedding process, and they absolutely made our wedding unforgettable. I can not speak highly enough of the Brian Kinney Band.

t. Our family still talks about the performance that he gave at our wedding and hopes to see him again.

also provided audio equipment for our ceremony that worked great. Of course, where he shines is on the stage. He's a great performer, and his band is terrific. (We sprung for the full 10-member lineup, which included a trombonist.) They play to all ages, so we had a lot of the older guests -- folks who I never imagined I would see dancing -- getting down and having a great time. Highlights of their set included Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," some killer classic Motown, and a two-song Prince suite that brought down the house, of course, in the Twin Cities. When we were planning our wedding, I spent a fair amount of time researching bands and found that many of the other popular wedding bands in the area seemed too slick or corporate. Brian's band is rehearsed and professional but not slick -- there's a welcome looseness and passion that come through and really make the difference. Brian also wore some amazing shoes that the guests were still talking about at brunch the next day. As a general matter, I highly recommend a band over a DJ, for that live energy that gets people dancing. And you could do no better than the Brian Kinney Band. Highly recommended!

blast. The band was so professional. We met with Brian 6 months beforehand to go over the playlist and talk about song choices. He gave us great advice as what to choose and had ideas for order of songs. The band has pages and pages of songs to choose from, in every genre including new music. They learned one song for us for our first dance song (Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran) and it was fantastic! That's a difficult song to sing and they knocked it out of the water. Throughout the whole night, we felt like we were at a concert because their energy was so high and they had lights going along with the songs. Brian would often come off the stage and sing around the crowd--it was so cool! The dance floor was NEVER empty. All of our guests were absolutely raving about the band because they were so good!! I would highly recommend the Brian Kinney Band for any event, especially a wedding. The dance at our reception was truly one of the best parts of the whole day, thanks to Brian! I cannot say enough good things about them!!

eople on the dance floor are toddlers and uncle Eddy who's had one too many... Our dance floor was PACKED the entire time! We've been fortunate enough to see them at multiple events and they always bring non-stop world class music. Brian and The Brian Kinney Band are the premier event band in the area, hands down! For these reasons and more we would, without hesitation, enthusiastically recommend The Brian Kinney Band to anyone looking for a great experience.

arantee no band will be as skilled at their craft or be easier to work with. Brian was by far the easiest vendor we had in our wedding and the band was PERFECT! I believe every person there has commented on how great they were and how much fun it was. We had a 2 year old, a 91 year old and everything in between out there dancing at the same time. If you are looking to hire a band, do yourself a favor and book them.

the opportunity to sit down with Brian at his home, get to know each other, plan our set list and family wedding dances, AND have a little mini solo performance of our first dance song (definitely icing on the cake)!! Brian Kinney and the entire Brian Kinney Band (yes the full 9 piece band) was truly one of the most memorable parts of our wedding day. They kept everyone, and I mean everyone, on the dance floor the entire night that no one wanted the evening to end! We received so many compliments on how AWESOME the band was - from how they made special "shout outs" to us throughout the night, to interacting with our wedding guests (aka getting people on stage), to the energy and excitement they brought to our wedding reception! I can honestly say that there's not a better band and I can't have ever imagined my wedding day without them being a part of it!! If you're looking to make you wedding day truly memorable, the Brian Kinney Band is the way to go and I promise you won't be disappointed! Thank you Brian (and band) for making our day the BEST. DAY. EVER!!

loor was full all night, hard to explain the great energy they bring to the stage, but they were the talk of the reception. This is a band that doesn't just go through the motions, they're bringing it each and every song! They have great interaction with the audiance especially the bride and groom. The Brian Kinney Band was the perfect finish to a perfect day! If you want a wedding reception people won't forget, get the BKB...(Father of the Bride).

nd are top knotch entertainers! Thank you Brian and your band members for a memorable evening.

and they play such a variety of music that everyone will enjoy it. Everyone who attended my wedding was impressed and the manager at the venue told me that she was going to suggest them for all of their weddings. If you are looking for a band get them on the books! You will not be disappointed.

ferent ages dancing. This band had the most people I've seen out dancing at any wedding! The musicians are all very talented and you can tell they enjoy what they do, which is fun to watch. Brian was great at interacting with the crowd, getting some people on stage and really making it a fun show. I had so many people tell me during and after the reception how great they were and what a great time they had. If you're debating DJ or band- I highly recommend going with this band. One of the best decisions we made for our day! Thank you Brian for making our wedding reception such a rockin' and fun time!!

k with and even worked with one of my friends to sing during the ceremony. Live music is the way to go and Brian Kinney Band should be your first choice!

any wonderful comments from guests as to how much they enjoyed the music and dancing the night away. We highly recommend this band!

K Band multiple times before and we knew he would not disappoint! Brian is incredible at keeping the dance floor packed all night long & knowing what to play based off the energy of the guests. Each member of the band is SO talented! Our guests raved about their performance. We strongly recommend the BK Band and hope to see them again soon! :)

and entertainment was! I know we made the right decision when we selected this talented group to share in our special day!!

d his band then performing at my wedding in October 2015. From classic wedding songs to learning anything specific that you may want to hear, Brian and his band bring every last bit of energy that they have for your special day. They truly make it feel like they've been waiting to give it their all at your wedding for months. They feel out the crowd and pick up the pace when necessary and slow it down periodically when a slow song is needed. Not to mention, their rendition of "Shout" with the inclusion of the crowd is second to none. I would highly recommend BK and his band with ZERO hesitation. They are as good as it gets in this business!

y of instrumentation for the reception (event). The band has an extensive song list that Brian will personally review with you and you can tailor the songs to your event. At our reception the music and showmanship was fantastic and the band kept the guests on the dance floor for the entire evening. We could not have been happier with his performance and would highly recommend him for your event.

m perform in Minneapolis and I was very impressed!! Not only was Brian great to work with, the band's performance at my wedding was AMAZING! They were definitely a highlight of the evening. I highly recommend the Brian Kinney Band for any event. I am very thankful for them making my wedding a fun, exciting, and special day!

orn section and I'm telling you they exceeded our expectations. We have three daughters and we will not hesitate to call them again when one of our other daughters gets married. The Brian Kinney Band made such an impact that we had guests raving about their performance for days! Our daughter's wedding was beautiful, but the Brian Kinney Band made it truly a night to remember!! You will not regret your decision.

o interact with the crowd. Would highly recommend!

any of my sibling's weddings), and they rock every time we see them! Their music gets everyone onto the dance floor and keeps them there until the end of the night! Brian and the rest of the band are not only great musicians, but they are also amazing entertainers! After our wedding we heard from so many of our guests that the band made our wedding and that they couldn't wait to book them for their own wedding! There are many choices that you have to make when planning a wedding, but booking the Brian Kinney Band was the easiest and smartest choice that we made!

l. And, of course, the band's performance was incredible. Before you spend $2000+ on a DJ for your event, consider hiring Brian. The extra +/-$800 is well worth it. Get rid of some flowers and get an awesome live band!
