A year in advance of our daughter's wedding, which was held on June 20, 2026, we selected the Bradshaw-Duncan House (BDH) as the venue. No one knew at that time, that BDH would experience a devastating fire that would destroy the inside of the beautiful home, just 3 months before the wedding day. BDH was gracious to offer us a full refund, but we declined the offer and opted to stay and make the best of the situation, and looking back, we absolutely made the right decision. In addition to hiring BDH for the venue, we also hired Grace Mullin (who works at BDH) as our wedding coordinator.
Grace and worked tirelessly with us on every detail of the wedding, making excellent recommendations on services for catering, bartending, and lighting, and she worked very closely with our photographer, videographer, DJ, musicians, and officiant, to ensure that all went according to plan.
Given all the stress that normally accompanies weddings, and the additional stress from the effects of the fire, we would could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was all stunningly beautiful, and we could not have asked for hoped or asked for anything more.

Located in Crestwood, KY, Bradshaw-Duncan House is a gorgeous and well maintained estate for weddings and events. This rural property was built in the early 1800s and offers beautiful acres of historical spaces for your special day. With old-fashioned fences and tall enchanting trees, this property offers a quiet atmosphere like no other.
Bradshaw-Duncan House is a sun-kissed property with on-site parking, a clean catering cottage, a historic home, and a majestic meadow for your wedding celebration. The home features a blend of modern chic with new, contemporary furniture and vintage architecture from the early 1800s. The house also offers the Bradshaw Suite for you and your wedding party to relax before your big event. Other charming dressing rooms may include the Murner Styling Suite and the Duncan Suite. Once ready, you may walk across the lush lawn and say “I do” alongside up to 350 friends and family members. After your wedding ceremony, your beloved guests can mingle with a chilled refreshment in the comfort of the Bourbon Room or enjoy the view from the home’s classic porch.
Bradshaw-Duncan House offers various equipment to ensure you have everything you need to make your day feel complete. The Bradshaw-Duncan House has chairs with stylish padding, polished dinner tables, tall cocktail tables, linens, and more. We will also provide our large tent to create a secluded outdoor space. The property is beautiful and the house provided ample getting ready space for our big wedding parties. They have made several upgrades over the last year or so including adding bathrooms for guests, adding more paved sidewalks for guests and vendors, upgrading the vendor kitchen, and providing a bigger tent. The patio space was perfect for cocktail hour, and the tennis court reception area was super! I also do recommend renting the restroom trailer, it is incredible. Once we booked BDH as our venue, Tina and Maggie helped us walk through every step of planning process. Planning a wedding can be a very daunting task, however, the two made sure to make it as easy of a process as it possibly could be. I seriously don’t know how we would have planned the big day without them.
Come our wedding day, it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue and set up was absolutely beautiful. Everything was set up for us and looked even better than we could have hoped. The whole crew at BDH were very attentive, made me and wife feel incredibly special, and made sure the day went exactly how we had hoped. They went above and beyond in every aspect.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Bradshaw-Duncan House as a venue for any occasion, especially a wedding. It was perfect in every way imaginable. Me and my wife still talk about how perfect the day was and we know it wouldn’t have been possible without the beautiful venue and the great crew at the Bradshaw-Duncan House. ner, and have trouble letting go, but the whole BDH team made us feel so comfortable and captured everything we wanted. We even had some weather issues pop up right around our ceremony time. The team was so accommodating in making changes to ensure we had the outdoor ceremony we envisioned.
The outdoor space of the property is gorgeous, but the inside is just as wonderful! The spaces for both sides of the bridal party were perfect for everyone to get ready comfortably, but still separate. You can see how much thought has gone into making this a superb venue, making sure we had everything we could possibly need.
The day was everything we hoped for, and more, thanks to the amazing people at Bradshaw-Duncan House. Could not recommend this venue and this team enough!

We had a lot of out of town guests at our wedding and got so many comments on how 'beautifully Kentucky' our wedding was. There were initially some organizational hitches but Maggie, the new general manager of BDH and Tina, the owner were great to work with and everything went so smoothly day of. Sarah and Debbie were on site and available the whole day/evening - helping out with rain dances (that worked!) and red wine spills on my SIL dress among many other things. It was also so nice that we once you were there in the AM, there was no travel from a hotel/to take pictures/to and from ceremony to reception - everything is there and we were able to spend a lot more time with our guests because of it. Ultimately, I would definitely recommend BDH for a beautiful ceremony and reception!

They are SO wonderful and they will do any and everything to make your day so special! I can’t thank them enough. I would recommend this venue to any and everyone over and over. ving elegant updated touches. It made for the most beautiful photographs both inside and outside the venue. Having the spacious bride and groom’s suites made getting ready for our day so peaceful. They have thought of everything you could possibly want or need to make your wedding day experience. Working with Tina and Sarah was such a stress reliever. They listened to the vision for my wedding. In them knowing that it was being planned in 10 weeks, they heard what I still needed, and they quickly made arrangements for me to have a beautiful farm table and gave vendor suggestions, who helped in making my day so perfect! They really care about giving brides the day they’ve dreamed of, and far surpassed all expectations we had for our day!
