Ginger was the best! We got married at the Valley Green Inn a couple weeks ago and Ginger was our officiant. She was extremely communicative in the process and even sent a draft of the script before the ceremony. She made a custom script that encompassed our love story in the most beautiful way. Before she even spoke, I was crying and the more she spoke, the more I cried. She made our ceremony extremely special and it felt like she was just one of our friends we’ve known forever. I cannot recommend her enough!

The ceremony script she created for us was beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for. It felt personal, meaningful, and perfectly captured the tone we wanted for our wedding day. The reason I cannot give a fully positive review is that on the day of our wedding, a different officiant, Jenny, performed the ceremony instead of Ginger. At no point before the ceremony was I informed that there would be a substitution. As a result, I walked down the aisle expecting to see Ginger and was surprised to find someone I had never met or spoken with before. This was disappointing and took me by surprise during an important moment. To Jenny’s credit, she was kind, professional, and did a nice job delivering the ceremony. However, she did mispronounce our last name several times during the officiating despite having been told the correct pronunciation beforehand. Overall, I was very pleased with the planning process, communication, and ceremony script that Ginger provided. However, the lack of communication regarding the officiant change on the wedding day significantly impacted my experience and is something I believe should have been communicated.

It was ironic to find that we had a lot of things in common, and she was very easy to talk to and helpful and information with the process of applying for the NJ marriage license. On the day of the ceremony, we started over an hour late (sorry, Ginger), but she didn't seem to mind. I appreciate now and I appreciated then how courteous and easy going she was on a day that was both stressful and wonderful for me and our family. 10/10 recommend!
