Our wedding at the Teahouse was magical. The building itself is stunningly beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff were so kind and wonderful. I was never someone who had a...
clear vision of what my wedding would be like, but the Teahouse made everything perfect!
For the sake of full disclosure, we had a few initial communication difficulties with the first person assigned to help with our wedding (it took over three weeks--three emails and two phone calls on my part--to get our menu tasting scheduled, for example). However, once we were shifted over to Jessie Chopra, she did a great job! She was kind, professional, and thought of details that hadn't even crossed my mind! I couldn't have asked for more. And once again, the Teahouse staff were just so excellent in every way, I can't say enough good things.
We decided to ignore a major red flag- lack of communication. There was originally the excuse of the manager being busy with events, so we decided to give them a chance. Big mistak...
e. There were no more excuses regarding the lack of communication, the event manager simple got back to us when she was wanted to, whether it was days, or weeks later. We wanted to discuss changing our date with the event manager and she never actually responded to us about this. It was a whole month later that we cancelled with this venue, and funnily, once we canceled the event manager responded back to us within 24 hours informing us that she will process our refund. Mind you- the event contract states that events canceled 6-9 months before the event are entitled to a 50% refund of the deposit, but the manager informed us they would do it as a one time courtesy! Not sure if others have a similar experience of lack of communication, or if this venue simply did not want my party we and I to use their services. We are so glad we changed venues to one that is responsive, courteous, and actually helpful.

oordinator, went above and beyond at every stage to ensure that everything went off without a hitch. The interior is stunning, the food was superb, and the outside patio (covered since there was a chance of rain) was lovely for cocktail hour and cake. With a beautiful setting, excellent food, and impeccable day-of coordination, the Teahouse was the perfect venue!

then there is the tea, and then there is the food! My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Service was quite slow but we had plenty to enjoy looking at while visiting. The manager worked with me to create a special menu for the event. He was very helpful and responsive. Many of our out of town guests returned several times during their week to enjoy meals or tea.
We had our rehearsal dinner at the Teahouse and our guests absolutely loved it. We had a large out of town group that attended, so we really wanted a unique place and the Teahouse ...
definitely delivered. The organization was super easy, after a brief meeting with Melissa and then review of menus we were pretty much set. They took care of table arrangements and the decor in the Teahouse speaks for itself. The service was very prompt and they were more than happy to assist any guest that arrived late, making sure that everyone had enough food and drink.
