Boombox Heroes was, without question, one of the absolute highlights of our wedding day. From the moment we began working with Louise through the final song of the evening, the ent...
ire experience exceeded every expectation we had.
Louise is an extraordinary talent, but what truly sets her apart is her professionalism, organization, and dedication to making the event run seamlessly. She was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, offering guidance, answering questions, and helping coordinate important details with confidence and expertise. On the day of the wedding, she went far beyond the role of lead singer. She expertly emceed the evening, smoothly transitioning guests from dancing to speeches, to dinner, and back to the dance floor without missing a beat. Her attention to detail and ability to keep the event flowing effortlessly allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment.
And then there’s the music. Simply put, the band is phenomenal. Every member of Boombox Heroes is exceptionally talented, and together they created an energy that kept our guests dancing all night long. The performance was dynamic, engaging, and incredibly fun. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, and the band knew exactly how to read the crowd and keep the momentum going.
Since the wedding, we've heard countless compliments from our friends and family about how amazing the band was. They brought a level of excitement and entertainment that truly elevated the entire celebration and created memories we will cherish forever.
We cannot recommend Boombox Heroes highly enough. They are an absolute hidden gem and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Louise and the entire band helped make our special day unforgettable, and their performance is something we will remember for the rest of our lives. If you're considering hiring them for your event, do it. You will be absolutely thrilled that you did.
We hired Boombox Heroes to play at my daughters wedding last weekend. My daughter and I interviewed several bands before picking Boombox. Louise is the lead singer and she is a s...
uperstar. The entire band was amazing. The dance floor was full the entire evening. Many wedding bands are just a name or franchise and you do not know who you are getting. This band Boombox Heroes is a real band who all play together frequently and you can really tell by their chemistry. They made our incredible evening just magical. I am getting so many texts and emails and calls from family and friends telling us how much they loved this band! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
Just book them immediately with confidence. Our daughter’s wedding was this weekend in Temecula and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the band was. But just as impor...
tant as the music, Louise is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. She was always available for calls and on the day of the wedding, we were running way behind because photos ran long, so she totally adjusted their schedule on the fly to ensure we still got enough band time. Hiring Boombox Heroes and Louise was literally the single best wedding decision we made. THANK YOU Louise!!!!
Honestly your wedding day you have so many choices in entertainment this band is truly special. Firstly they really care. Secondly they are really really rock stars, everyone on st...
age was giving such an energetic performance that our entire crowd was dancing from 8 years old to 82. really incredible. Everyone was talking about where did we find this incredible band. We had alot of changes on the day of our wedding and alot of requests, and they were able to roll with the punches and delivered such an incredible performances.
They also worked with us on pricing and they also brought extra lighting above what we booked to make our event even more special.
Truely the highlight of the dancefloor and our wedding!
You are done looking for bands now. Hire this one. They are so fun, their music is killer and they pick up on the vibe of the room flawlessly. We asked for a mix of an 80s-90s setl...
ist with whatever else they wanted to throw in. I didn't even know to ask for it, but when "Levitating" by Dua Lipa started to play, I went nuts. They kept everyone at our wedding on the dancefloor. They gave us tons of 80s and 90s, plus a bunch more. They're SO good.
It's taken a while for me to sit down and write a review for these guys because there is simply not enough words to express our gratitude to them on our big day. This is both of ou...
r second marriage and we didn't want a large crazy wedding, Boombox had a range of options and we picked a smaller version of the band since we only had 50 people - but the most important thing to us was people having a good time and dancing! I will tell you I have never seen at any wedding a band that got that many people on the dance floor and kept them there, and i've never seen a wedding band sound so incredible, it was like hearing the best of the best, this is not a bar band this is mind blowing amazing. Even my 80 year old aunt was dancing. They blew us away. Another thing I must mention is working with them was an absolute pleasure, the band leader Louise takes the time to talk to you and personally get to know each of us and what made us special. We had many conversations on the phone for hours going through changes and schedules and she was totally excited and willing to be there for us for whatever we needed. She even had the band learn a few surprise tunes for my father in law and us, it was so special.
Our guests could not stop talking about the quality of the performers, not one note was missed and they danced and sang their asses off. Each one of the musicians was absolutely the best I've ever seen , so entertaining, cool and all super nice and humble. We will never forget the extra effort they put in to make our family feel so special. They even did a special Taylor Swift song and let our daughter sing with the band. Which had us all in tears. Thank you so much. Mike and Caroline
My son hired Boombox Heroes for his wedding and what a great decision that was! He researched bands at length and this band was by far the best. My husband and I used to DJ weddi...
ngs and saw a lot of bands performing. None of them was anywhere near as entertaining as Boombox Heroes. Every song was amazing; they went from song to song with no dead time in between; the dance floor was constantly full; and Louise is a true professional. She didn't just sing - she performed. She made it seem like she had known the bride and groom forever and made the entire evening very personal. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire a band for any occasion - they are amazing!
Boombox heroes literally MADE our whole wedding. It’s been a week since the wedding and I’m STILL thinking about how amazing they were! Their energy, professionalism, talent, costu...
me changes, and the incredibly fun show they put on is NEXT LEVEL. SO MANY guests commented that it felt like they were at a concert and absolutely LOVED the show!!
I will forever cherish the memories they created for us and am so so so happy we booked them. Every single member of the band is an incredibly talented musician in their own right. Together, they are mind blowing.
I’m OBSESSED with the lead singer, Louise. First off, she was on the Voice, so you know she’s super talented. Second, she is one of the greatest humans ever - sooo unbelievably kind, charismatic, and hilarious from start to finish. Every member of her band follows suit - super fun, friendly, and talented. Third, they have an extensive song list but are willing to learn new songs for you too! She created an entire Taylor Swift medley for us with our favorite songs. She is also THE greatest MC on earth. She really knows how to keep the energy up and keep the party going! Our dance floor was packed all night!! So many of our friends and family members commented that she put on a great show. Lastly, she is a true professional (as is the rest of the band) - she planned every detail with us and executed it to perfection. She even edited our first dance song so the volume would be ideal throughout. She did soo much for us, really going WAY above and beyond.
I really don’t think words can do it justice. If you’re on the fence, just book them!! You won’t regret it. It was the single best decision we made for our wedding!
Who you book for entertainment sets the tone for the entire wedding. If you want it done right, book boombox heroes!

o bring the energy on our special day, and they delivered. Hiring a band in the LA area, you expect the musical standards to be a little higher, and Boombox Heroes' vocals and musicianship was even stronger than we had expected. We were particularly pleased with the way they built the set list based off our likes and dislikes, the pure talent of the vocalists, and their performance during cocktail hour (we had a guitar and saxophone duo during that time, and they were incredibly talented). In between sets, the band handled their DJing and MCing responsibilities with professionalism and aplomb. We can't say enough about how taken care of we felt from our first meeting over zoom up until the Last Dance. Thank you, Boombox Heroes!

s cheeky, Australian, powerhouse, singer, boss lady that helped and guided me through the whole process, whilst making me laugh and feel less stress along the way. What I also liked is that she has all the equipment I asked for plus she knew what speakers would be needed for my 90 guest cocktails/reception, she brought lighting and the sound was perfect! Boombox Heroes exceeded my expectations and brought an element to my wedding that, not only gave us the performance of a lifetime, but created an experience that all my guests still can’t stop talking about!
We saw this band at our friends wedding and had to have them, they truly sound incredible. We had a crazy vision for our wedding, we wanted formal cocktail then 70s, then 80s then...
90s! This band truly brought it and tailored each set with so many awesome songs and COSTUME CHANGES! wow we were so blown away! highly recommend they are the best band i've ever heard.
This band legit was like having Lady Gaga, Bruno mars and Beyonce at your wedding. They were incredible. So talented and so much energy, the guitarists were jumping off the stage ...
dancing with the crowd everyone was incredible. We went for the 10 piece with horns and it was worth every cent, they actually are better priced than most wedding bands out there and the quality is better. We were stoked

d a very small wedding and smaller budget and she worked with us to create a custom band within our budget and they were amazing. Even with a small space she made it feel like the most amazing party we had ever been too. our guests were floored jaws to the floor! Thank you forever.

mbox Heroes, they just seemed so much fun and so much energy. The whole night they had everyone dancing non-stop, and our guests truly could not stop raving about the band and asking how on earth we found them. It felt like we had hired absolute superstars, and that we were at a full blown lady gaga concert. I cannot recommend them enough Louise and her team were amazing to work, hit all our random song requests and killed it! - so professional and they sound incredible, our guests are still talking about the band weeks later, they made our night so special.
Love this brand so much. We had three favourite songs that we wanted for our wedding and somehow it was so hard for so many bands. Finally a girlfriend recommended Boom Box and ...
I phoned them. Not only did they return my call quickly nothing was a problem. Even my biggest meltdown was handled so well by Louise. I am about to call her my new bestie! The band was great. They arrived on time, they did everything and coordinated with our venue to make sure everything was safe and perfect. My mother was so worried about the 'entertainment' but she ended up being the major dancer for the evening, it was hilarious. Thank you Louise and the team at Boom Box. Thank you thank you thank you.
We used Boom Box Heroes for our wedding and they were great. I had phoned and sent so many emails trying to work out the perfect band and a friend recommended Louise and Boom Box ...
Heroes. They handled everything and I mean everything! Things that I had not even thought of and would have been in big trouble without Louise suggesting that we use some equipment to help make it a better event. In the end they not only had the best songs and the most awesome musicians they had the equipment, sound system and everything. We were worried that we might not appeal to all the generations attending but somehow they managed to get everyone dancing and I mean everyone - even my grannie. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any event needing a band that gets the audience singing, dancing and clapping. Love them. thank you for a great night.
THEY ARE AMAZING!!! This band is so incredibly talented that it honestly felt like we were at a private concert for the next Bruno Mars or Beyonce! It was truly phenomenal and ever...
yone has continued to rave about how amazing this band is months after the wedding! We are so happy with how they performed at our engagement party that we hired them again for our wedding! I highly recommend this band to everyone and know you will not be disappointed by how truly talented they are! They really made it such an amazing night and we are extremely appreciative of them!
WOW! Just, wow! I was a little apprehensive about booking BoomBox Heroes without ever having seen them preform live, but like other reviewers have said, it was the best decision I ...
could have made. They PACKED our wedding dance floor and even had people who have been saying, "I don't dance..." for 60 something years up and dancing. Ages 12-65 danced all night long, and we even had a crowd of strangers develop on the street outside our wedding venue (the venue's windows were large and open) watching the band perform. They are SO talented, and SO professional.
Louise, the band leader, went above and beyond to answer all of my questions for the entire year leading up to the wedding. We had many telephone calls to go over every little detail and she even cut and edited the songs I wanted to use during the ceremony. She was well organized, very responsive and so easy to talk to. Best of all, she also acts as an MC and kept the reception moving/on-time by announcing speeches, first dance, when dinner was ready, etc.
A very special thank you to all the band members for making the extra trek to Catalina Island to perform for us. We know it wasn't easy, and we know you were stuck using equipment that you were not used to, but we sincerely appreciate how accommodating all of you were to us, and to our budget. The bands' willingness to spend the night on the Island really took the pressure off of scheduling on an already chaotic night.
I cannot recommend BoomBox Heroes enough. Do not hesitate to book them! The morning after our wedding we were already talking about what excuse we can come up with to throw another party just to have BoomBox Heroes perform again.
BoomBox Heroes just played at my wedding. I wanted to get a DJ but like every smart man I let my wife have the final decision. Hate to say it but she was right. We were nervous hir...
ing a band we had never heard live and was not from the area. But they were awesome!! Everyone ranging from 21-80 years old was on the dance floor the entire time. The band rocked and full of energy. We didn't want the party to end! They offer an extensive list of songs and even learned a couple requested ones. We have received numerous compliments since the wedding about how great the band was. They made our wedding so much fun!
We knew that a good band would make our wedding special, and we looked far and wide for a group that could elevate the night into a memorable party for everyone. I'm so happy we fo...
und Boombox Heroes. They had everyone on the dance floor for four sets of amazing music. I sweat right through my tuxedo and had one of the best nights of my life.
Louise is the band leader, lead singer, and point of contact for the wedding couple. She was just fantastic to work with. She has so much love for what she does that it's contagious. She did a great job of working with us to create precisely the night we wanted -- a first set of older songs to get family members involved, and then three sets of blistering, heartfelt and totally fun 80s rock and new wave. We paid a little extra to bring in their male vocalist so the band would have full versatility, and it was definitely worth it. The band worked with us on designing the playlist, and also offered to learn three new songs for the night. We loved seeing them fully embrace our requests.
At the end of the night, the venue reps told me that they absolutely loved the band as well, and would be strongly recommending them to future clients. Overall, Boombox Heroes provided the perfect blend of consummate professionalism and total joy. We could not have been happier. They made our dream wedding come true.
After losing our initial band two months before our wedding date, we started looking for a band to perform for us...we found Boombox Heroes and booked them! We were nervous at fir...
st, having never seen them in person, but they surpassed our expectations! I am actually so glad we ended with Boombox Heroes instead of who we had initially hired! They made it a much better party than it would have been!!! We were able to choose what they would play at our wedding from an extensive song list that Louise provided us. They also learned a special first dance song along with other requests and performed them beautifully. From set up to tear down, they were professional and super organized. We were having a backyard wedding and wanted a great party! They had awesome energy and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. They seriously were better than I even imagined any band we hired could be for our wedding. Several guests took their card and more than I can count asked us for their name and where we found them/how to book them! We loved them so much that just a day or two after our wedding we started talking about when we could hire them again! We would love to have them for an 80's party or Halloween or New Year's!!! They're awesome and I would recommend them without hesitation for any wedding or party! We can't wait for the opportunity to hire them again!!! Oh yeah, Louise does a great job as MC also!!! She's amazing and so is the band!!!
BoomBox Heroes was one of the best decisions that we could have made for our wedding. They were accommodating to making their setlist to our desires. They offered fun outfit themes...
that we chose. I asked for some special requests, and they learned the 2 songs for us; both of which turned out great!
When the big day came, they had top-quality sound equipment, lights, stage settings, and sound/light/video techs. It was a full-service for a very affordable cost! They even allowed me to come up and sing with them! There is no doubt that they were the hit of our wedding, and made it a party that would not be forgotten. As an individual that is very familiar with the music world and scene, I found BoomBox Heroes to be top-notch professionals, performers, musicians, and most of all-- A PARTY!
I recommend them to the fullest!
