We hired Bonafide on the strength of their wonderful reviews and excellent product. None of that was the case for our day. They were supposed to be at our venue by 8 am. They showe...
d up at 3 pm after I sobbed because I thought they weren't coming. While the videographers were nice, they were not the people we talked to (Anthony and Justin) and we did not know the company would be using contractors. After our wedding...radio silence. We did not hear from them until I started calling and emailing in NOVEMBER (we got married in June). We exchanged emails back and forth several times where Justin and Anthony both lied and said they'd have our video to us by a certain date...and they never did. Deadlines passed with no word from them. Bonafide has since cut off their email and phones with no notice. Justin has put his dad in charge of communication and the last time I spoke with him just to ask for an update he threatened me by saying that I "shouldn't press for more information" because he "would hate for something to happen to our footage". Stay away from this company.
I would highly recommend finding someone else to video your wedding.
We got married July 27, 2019 and were promised our video in mid-October. After not receiving our video by mid-...
October, I tried contacting Bonafide and could not get ahold of them in any form of communication. I emailed, called, left voicemails, texted, facebooked, and did not get any sort of reply. Finally Anthony called me towards the end of November and said we would have our video by Thanksgiving to share with our families. Thanksgiving came and went and still no video. I tried contacting them again with no luck. At this point I had given up on contacting them and getting our video. I even went to the extent of emailing them with a name alias saying I wanted them to video my wedding in 2020 and they responded right away and had a conversation with me for multiple days.
Finally on December 7, 2019, we got our wedding videos. The video was not what I had wanted. I specifically said in the questionnaire that I wanted a lot of our guests and dancing. There was 3 seconds of guests and nothing else. The video was a huge disappointment.
On January 25, 2020 I received an e-mail from Justin and he said he was sorry for Anthony not getting back to me about the video. He also said he would do all of our edits, get them back to me that week, send us our raw footage, and make a website with all of our videos on it. That never happened and we have not heard back from Justin since. The email is now not valid and cannot get ahold of anyone in any way.
If you have had similar problems with Bonafide, a few other brides and I have a group on facebook called "Bonafide Brides." Please feel free to join. We are trying to get all of our stories together and take this to court to get at least our raw footage. We are all very frustrated and sad we haven't gotten our raw footage.
Do not trust Bonafide no matter what Justin and/or Anthony tell you. Please find someone else to be your videographer. It is not worth the frustration and heartache.
If you have any questions, please feel free to find me on Facebook. Paige Garrison
Anthony was so nice and did a great job on our wedding videos! He's even sending over extra discs so we can give them out as gifts these holidays!
It’s been over 4 months since our wedding and we are still holding out hope that we will get our video that we’ve already paid for. We were told our video would be done the end of...
August, and now we are into October with no video and no updates. I haven’t been able to get them to respond to email or multiple calls for well over a month now.

pent the entire wedding day with him and his assistant, we had so much fun! He knew the wedding photographer already, so the day went perfectly and his team worked flawlessly with the photographers!
We received the wedding box containing our videos a few days ago and they're wonderful! They graciously added in extra discs so we could share them with our family this holiday! I could not have asked for more.
Thanks Anthony!!!!!!!!

ere a breath of fresh air! Their wedding videos are beautiful! His team was so professional and we barely noticed them day of, they were very polite when it came time to putting my dress on and very politely stood outside until we called them in, knocking again to make sure I was decent, I'll never forget it! I'm so glad to have these wedding videos THANKS!!!!!
I would never recommend Bonafide film house for any services.
My husband and I chose the premium package simple because of the video guest book. How cool was it going to be to hav...
e lifetime memories of the people who traveled far and wide to see us?
Initially they were easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. We filled out a pre-wedding questionnaire that addressed all the things we wanted filmed. When the wedding day approached, there were many things that I thought were unprofessional like showing up over an hour late and only after I called to see where they were, they did not go film my husband getting ready even after I explicitly asked that day, and they were no where to be seen for many of things I had listed on the questionnaire.
Fast forward to the end of December. I had yet to hear from them and after many attempts, finally got our package in the mail, but it was missing the guest book. Once again, we could not get ahold of them for answers. We eventually found out in February that the footage was lost because "one of our friends broke the camera". Not only is that not possible, I find it hard to believe it took them 6 months to figure out one of their cameras broke.
They were unaccommodating and made us feel like it was our problem that they lost the footage. We never received an apology. We attempted to compromise but were met with little response. It took 6 more months to finally get what we felt to be somewhat of a compromise from them.
Overall, their customer service was TERRIBLE and they were unbelievably unprofessional. I am a very reasonable person and had my lost footage been addressed right away with a genuine apology and a desire to compromise, I likely wouldn’t be here writing this review. After this happened, I learned that I am not the only person to have irreplaceable footage simply ‘lost’ by Anthony and Justin. Save yourself the headache and book with anyone else.
My daughter was had her wedding last week and I'm so happy that this company was there to film it. I called all around idaho but I couldn't find anybody to film her wedding how she...
wanted it. She was very specific that she wanted a video of everything and nobody else wanted to do that, all the other companies wanted to make a movie 45 minutes long or 30 minutes long or 15 minutes long, for the same amount of money, but when I talked to this company on the phone, they said they would give us full movies of each event, something nobody else seemed to be able to do. I was worried the wedding being in pocatello would be too far for them to drive but they didnt seem to care at all. they shown up with bells and did fantastic work all day. i was also worried since it was a very religious ceremony but they were very respectful and even asked at the beginnning of the day who they should talk to so they would be able to observe any rules necessary and not step on any toes. good people here.
When I received my wedding box in the mail from Bonafide Film House Weddings I was so excited to watch the videos, and they lived up to the hype!!!! Thanks Bonafide!!!!!!!

Bonafide Film House filmed my elopement earlier this year. I arranged everything with Anthony that previous winter and he actually created a elopement package for me, as they hadn'...
t filmed one before. He was extremely accommodating and even went and scouted the venue for me!
Him and his team showed up early afternoon, with a lady and his business partner Justin. They immediately started shooting and we had a blast! The day went so smooth and they were so professional and lovely to work with. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a video of their special day at a great price.
I got in touch with Anthony and Justin with very short notice, but they were very eager to do something new and film my Montana winter wedding!
They showed up very early the day ...
of the wedding and came and introduced themselves. They gave me a quick rundown of how the day would go, then Anthony started filming while Justin took off and started filming aerials with his cool drone and shooting timelapses.
They were super professional and discreet throughout the day and I couldn't be happier with the wedding video they gave me in the end!
If you're thinking about getting a wedding video, do it!
