Blessed. Beautiful. Wonderful. Heart-Warming. Perfect. Are only a few words to describe what we and attendees experienced on Brooke and Collin’s very special forever-day.
We, Steve and Nila (Brooke’s parents) so much appreciate and are thankful for the family and friends, who traveled near (Marshfield) and far (Thailand) and everywhere in between, to bear witness and experience a very special and blessed ceremony and perfect-weather day.
Nila and I give a heartfelt thank-you to owner’s Trent & Chelsy Schug, of the Blooming Barrel Event Center, and to the previous owner’s, Lori and Mark with whom Brooke and Collin initially contracted with.
Additionally, we recognize those who partnered in this special day - Caterer, Jeff Wesley and staff with Junior’s Restaurant + Tap House and Pairfection Catering; the Bartenders (mother and daughter) who are apart of the venue staff; the Florist, Bo-Jo's Creations Floral, Cakes and Gifts;

ng to track down a wedding cake. We were going to have a Bojo's make our cutting cake and then just get Costo sheet cakes for our guests. But Bojo's sheet cakes were so reasonable that we decided it was well worth the money to upgrade to Bojo's for our sheet cakes too. We worked with Rob to pick a few unique flavors - pistachio marble with cream cheese frosting, strawberry chocolate with buttercream, and our cutting cake was brandy old fashioned flavored. We had our friends from Red Wing pick up the cakes on their way to the venue. People really enjoyed all the flavors and the prices were very, very reasonable. It’s worth the drive. Our only criticism is that the weekend of our wedding they didn't have any 10 inch cake boxes so our cutting cake was just on a cardboard tray which made transporting a little difficult. But there were plenty of willing hands to keep it safe it ended up being a very charming story and a great memory for our friends. I'm looking forward to ordering it again for our 1 year anniversary.
