Finding Bob was the luckiest thing that happened to us! He was able to step in last minute, and give us the ceremony we always dreamed of. Meeting with him was intimate, and though...
t provoking. He really got to know us as individuals and as a couple. He performed our ceremony flawlessly and beautifully. A lot of our guests thought he was a long time family friend based off his personal touches he incorporated into our day.
He took the stress out of planning, repeatedly insuring me all would be ok (and it was), showed up early to greet guest, and made everyone feel welcome and special. Cant say enough great things about Bob. I'm so happy to have had him be a part of our special story.
Bob was the best! We met with him twice before the wedding and felt the ceremony was perfectly customized to us! Several people came up to us throughout the reception asking for hi...
s information because they loved the ceremony so much! He allowed us to feel that the ceremony was a perfect reflection of us as a couple. We loved working with him! I was very nervous about finding the right officiant and I am so glad that we picked Bob because he really did make our day perfect!
Bob was such a fantastic officiant for our March wedding. From the moment we met him we felt so at ease. We only had two meetings with him, but he was obviously taking notes - we...
had a personalized ceremony with just the right tone. I had multiple people think he was our childhood pastor! He was just such a kind man and a pleasure to work with. My husband and I could not imagine our interfaith ceremony officiated by anyone else. It was so meaningful and wonderful.
Priceless!
Bob was the perfect officiant for us, he led us through the process with some heartfelt meetings where we later realized he was taking good notes. The ceremony was exac...
tly the mood we wanted, tears, laughs and lots of surprises and charisma, there wasn't a dull moment, and he really captured our essence. He appealed to the devout, the spiritual and the faithful and blended the lines of prayer and fun!
We had many requests for his info and everyone commented on the joy in the ceremony!
From the moment he said we should call him just "Bob" (vs. Rev. Riler), we knew we really liked him! My husband and I were married August 22, 2015, by Bob in the most beautiful, f...
un, and meaningful ceremony we could ever imagine. I am a divorced Catholic and my husband, also divorced, was raised in the Methodist tradition; we consider ourselves ecumenical and accepting of different faiths. Bob providee us with a great booklet full of suggestions from which we planned our ceremony and involved our families. Then, he surprised us with such warmth, humor, and guest involvement during the ceremony. So many of our guests later said it was the best wedding they had ever attended, that they felt a part of our union. Maybe it helped that Bob had us face the guests as he stood to the side and created an inclusiveness with everyone. Bob made our special day very memorable. We are a couple in our early sixties, have seen a bit of life, and this day was incredible because of Bob's thoughtfulness, humor and sincerity.
Bob presided at our son's wedding and he exceeded our expectations. Professional, caring, organized. He is a gem. It was better than a church wedding!!!!
I really struggled when I went out to find a wedding officiant... I needed someone that could provide me with a religious ceremony, but outside of a church, and wanted someone who ...
would really resonate with the guests and really make it 'my own.' Bob Riler did this flawlessly. He was not the traditional, stiff, priest that stands between the couple and recites scripture (though he could if you wanted it). He provided us with a thorough booklet and really let us personalize the ceremony to meet our tastes, and he met with us on several occasions and simply chatted with us and got to know us as people -- which he then incorporated into the ceremony. This truly added a special touch to our wedding ceremony. All of the guests loved the ceremony, and several actually came up afterward and asked for his contact information for their weddings. But more than just the guests loved him -- my husband and I LOVED our ceremony. We couldn't have been happier. Plus, Bob's wife also came with him to help make sure the ceremony ran smoothly, which it totally did with her help!
