KJ was wonderful during the early planning stages—kind, helpful, and attentive. But on the wedding day, things became disorganized. My family had to take over most of the setup, th...
e room flip, and even the clean-up. The detailed wedding binder I created—which was meant to make the setup, flip, and clean-up as easy and clear as possible—was barely, if at all, used by her. My family were the ones referencing it, and when they told her to use it, she acted unaware of its existence, even though it was emailed to her earlier in the week and we had discussed it beforehand. My entrance was also timed much later than planned, and my bridesmaids had to ask her to close the curtains so guests wouldn’t see them while they were lining up. She rushed our photographer and came off with attitude toward some vendors.
Thankfully, guests said everything looked great and ran smoothly, but behind the scenes it was chaotic. Without my family stepping in, it would have been a huge mess. We really liked KJ at first and would have loved to give her a better review, but the day-of coordination didn’t meet expectations when it mattered most.

KJ and her team are awesome.
Our wedding was cancelled due to hurricane Helene, and we had to replan the whole thing in two weeks here in Raleigh.
KJ was great, checking everything...
was setup and the vendors all knew when to come and we had ordered everything correctly.
Then Amber and Kezia helped with day of coordination to ensure everything went smoothly.
It was a huge pivot and there was no way we could've done it without their help.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for help with wedding planning and day of coordination.

ts. She works hard to make every event custom to the theme or person. I have also witnessed her plan trips for people as well. She takes all of the person’s interests at heart to create a day that is truly special and about you. She is also great with event budgets. She finds all the amazing deals on items needed. She’s an amazing and will not let you down. My production company is hiring her for our Red Carpet Premiere.

ures that we come from and incorporate our faith into the wedding, which was something that we both wanted. We had an incredible experience working with KJ. She is very responsive to our texts and emails and in the months leading up to the wedding, she kept us organized, peaceful, and content with our vision for our wedding. She made our dreams a reality. She truly does “thoughtfully plan and exquisitely execute” the wedding details from large to small and an added bonus is that she is a pleasure to be around. If you’re considering working with KJ, please don’t hesitate to reach out to her. I truly can’t describe what an amazing Wedding Planner she is!
