Blush By Brittany

throughout the day for the moms and it was discontinued so we could not purchase it ourselves.

ring her clients look their best on their special day, Brittany won’t disappoint you!

autiful. She worked so fast and did great work!

with ease. Everyone loved their makeup and it lasted all day/night which was very important. Highly recommend her to anyone!

h great timing! Everyone loved how their makeup turned out and my makeup latest all day and night long! I am so so happy I worked with Brittany for my wedding!

fast and got through me, my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and my (now) mother-in-law. She was well within our budget and did not disappoint! I would highly recommend booking with her!

ony! She listened to my concerns and wishes for my look and even recommended a lipstick I could keep on me that I loved.

neutral look and it was exactly what I wanted. I have very sensitive eyes and they tend to water when I get makeup done professionally. In the past I have received negative reactions by a makeup artist for this but Brittany was great and did not make me feel bad for an issue I couldnt control. My mother in law was getting very warm during the process so Brittany stopped and fanned her down until she felt better to continue. She takes the time to make sure the client is comfortable but still delivers everyone on time. I would highly recommend Brittany to anyone looking for professional makeup services!

dn't have enough time to do, and I was so happy that I found Brittany. She was so quick and did such a wonderful job of applying our makeup. My makeup lasted from 10am to midnight with no smearing, lashes falling off, or anything. It was still immaculate! And that is so rare for me as I have always had really oily skin. Everyone who got their makeup done by her was so thrilled with how it turned out especially with her using airbrush. She also was super knowledgeable about skincare so at my trial she gave me some product recommendations and my skin was so much healthier for my wedding day. I was so happy with everything and would HIGHLY recommend her for any makeup needs.

feeling glamorous and confident. From the flawless application to the carefully chosen color palettes, Brit's expertise shone through. What impressed me the most was her ability to understand each individual's style and preferences, ensuring that everyone looked and felt their absolute best. Beyond her skill, Brit's friendly and calming presence added a delightful touch to the pre-wedding preparations. If you want a makeup artist who not only excels in her craft but also brings a positive energy to your special day, Brit is the one to choose. Thank you, Brit, for making us all feel like royalty!

do my wedding makeup, and I would definitely recommend her to others.

of myself on the day of. Brittany completely understood and nailed the look. My whole wedding party looked beautiful and the makeup wore great all night. She is also quick with applications which would be great for a bride with a big wedding party.

ct and she perfectly understood the vision I was going for. Everyone in my wedding party was obsessed with their makeup and it lasted all night. Would recommend Brittany to anyone, she is truly the best :)

would recommend her to anyone and would use her services again!

make sure that you LOVE your look! It stayed on all night and looked natural and flawless! Thank you Brittany!

dding as well. My makeup stayed on the whole night and lasted through pictures even with the hot weather. She did the perfect look that was elegant and natural!

y was very professional, easy to communicate with and had great prices as well. I would definitely recommend Brittany for your makeup needs!

ng day, she came on-site (such a blessing) to do make-up for my large wedding party. She arrives early, and is able to work efficiently in order to get through everyone without needing the help of an assistant, which saves money! I was not feeling well wedding morning, and she was able to bring down my nerves. Everyone was very happy with their make-up. It stayed on all day and night & was not irritating in any way. Some of my bridesmaids are now using her as a vendor for their weddings!

normally wears minimal makeup and I was apprehensive about looking like myself for my wedding day. Brittany's work made me feel flawless and we all received endless compliments. 0% stress, would 100% recommend!

state and was flying in during a certain weekend. -She completed all THIRTEEN people in the wedding party (including myself) with grace! -Brittany was so fun to have do our make-up and made sure that each and every person was able to get what they were looking for. I HIGHLY recommend Brittany! She is truly a gem in the Midwest!

ings a calm presence (which is extremely beneficial on wedding day), is always on time, great at communicating, and overall will make your day run so smoothly!

th her. I loved my makeup after my trial and it looked even better on my wedding day! Brittany listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to push me into trying a makeup look I wasn’t comfortable with. My Mom’s and sister-in-law’s makeup turned out great as well.

ible in the lighting and set up and did such a beautiful job. The day of the wedding, she arrived even a little early and completed everyone's make up with plenty of time to spare prior to pictures being taken. The makeup lasted the entire day with little to no touch ups. We only really had to fix one of my mom's lashes and glasses spots on her nose later in the day. I would recommend Brittany for anyone's wedding day!

up lasted flawlessly all night! I highly recommend!

in downtown Milwaukee and was on-time and ready to go. I had a large wedding party, so Brittany did half of my wedding party (about 8 ladies including me) within 3 hours (about 20-30 mins per make up application). Brittany also connected me with her colleague Sara who came onsite to do the makeup for the other half of my bridal party. Brittany and Sara were both wonderful and accommodating the day of, especially when the time slots got wonky when the onsite hair stylists took longer than expected. Brittany seems pretty laid back but really knows her stuff, which was reassuring for an over-prepared, anxious bride. :) She did my trial makeup about 3 months before my wedding and was accommodating when scheduling. I would highly recommend Brittany as a bridal and bridal party makeup artist!

a smoky eye and a bolder look, so I know she can do it all!

y the type of calming influence you want getting ready the day of. Planning with her was seamless, and she is incredibly prompt in response which is refreshing. I highly recommend choosing Brittany as your makeup artist!

erything I ever dreamed of! She made my whole bridal party look so stunning and she worked so efficiently. She has so much experience with weddings she made all of my worries go away. I cannot say enough good things about her, if you are still looking for a makeup artist for your wedding, I highly recommend Blush by Brittany!

great to work with the day of the wedding and arrived early, and also kindly allowed me to add on one more makeup application for my personal attendant on the day of the wedding. I really liked that her makeup style isn’t the super heavy over-the-top glam that you typically see these days, it’s a more subtle glow-up that adds natural beauty. I typically don’t wear a lot of makeup and my husband specially requested that I not overdue it on the wedding day so I look like myself, so Brittany’s style was perfect!

my date and was available for an additional trial (since my first trial was 2+ years before my postponed date). On the day of, she arrived on time, was efficient in her applications and her work was stunning - even throughout the happy tears, my make up looked flawless all night! Thank you so much Brittany!

does a great job of making everyone’s makeup completely natural but perfect for wedding photos and a bustling wedding day!

le which made for a seamless day. My bridesmaids and I don’t wear heavy makeup, so I was selective with who I chose. She did an amazing job making us feel beautiful but very natural.

d were so happy with how their makeup turned out!!

o easy to work with, does amazing make up, and is so fun and bubbly and made getting ready for wedding a blast! ❤️ Thank you Brittany!!

that you LOVE it and it looks the way that you envisioned! I think we changed my lip color about 5 times during our trial to make it exactly what I wanted :) She is punctual and manages the available time extremely well, and she does an amazing job applying makeup that doesn't look overdone but lasts all day long! I felt so beautiful on our Big Day and would recommend her to anyone! I especially loved that I could buy my lip stain from her to reapply throughout the day, but also to wear on date nights with my husband with the memories of wearing it on our wedding day! She was amazing!

all of my bridesmaids and our moms look so beautiful. I would recommend her to anyone!

and my makeup lasted all day and night. She also did the makeup for my sisters, mom and best friend. She hadn’t done a trial run with any of them and yet perfected everyone’s desired look flawlessly. That’s talent! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is seeking a professional makeup artist for any occasion.

rial right away. After signing the contract, she continued to check-in with me and make sure we were good to go for the big day. The day of, she was ready to go when we arrived and did a great job of managing time. Everyone absolutely loved their look, as did I. I greatly enjoyed working with Brittany and will definitely recommend her to others!

affect them. My SIL posted a negative review on The Knot, and I agree with the content of her review. Unfortunately, Brittany responded with mistruths, which has motivated me to reply with my own review. DO NOT HIRE Brittany for your wedding. When my wedding was postponed because of covid, all of our vendors were extremely accommodating except Brittany. She did not want to allow me to use my $330 deposit toward a new date in 2021. To retain her services I would have to pay another $330 deposit for the new date and forfeit the previous deposit. I clearly postponed the date 2 months in advance, and she responded “OK I will cancel out your contract.” She apparently held that date, then blamed me for lost business because of this. I did not ask her to retain my original date. Ultimately, after asking her to reconsider the transfer of my deposit, she relented. She was available for the new date, and sent a new contract to hold it. Before signing the contract, I told her about a revised number of applications - more people now wanted makeup, surpassing her maximum. I had discussed this scenario before signing the first contract. I asked “what is your policy about adding or subtracting people? Does it matter as long as there are 5 people minimum?” and she said “just a 5 person minimum, not going over 10.” I was just being transparent, and she was going to do 5 people instead of 8. I hired a second makeup artist, making Brittany very upset. I explained the situation, but that did not assuage her. She demanded another $200 deposit or that I pay for 8 makeup applications (even though she was doing 5). Brittany felt disrespected and no longer wanted to provide her services, escaping with my deposit. I agreed to terminate our relationship, I didn’t want her bad juju on my wedding day. I must respond to the review from my SIL. Brittany misrepresented our conversation. Her quoted text “proving” her flexibility was sent to me after we agreed to go separate ways. I did hire her 3 days after my trial; the time allotted before you lose the hold on your date. It wasn’t because I “loved” her work. The brows were too dark. The foundation was heavy and settled into the fine lines on my forehead and on the lines around my mouth from smiling. Brittany told me it was because I had dry skin. A peel/better moisturizer would make it look normal. After talking to an aesthetician and a dermatologist she was wrong. Brittany quoted me “word for word” that “I loved my makeup, it lasted all day and I would love to book you,” which is false. The text actually is “I would like you to do my makeup…it lasted very well. I’m wondering if we could go a little lighter on the brows and use a lighter face makeup? I felt a little too made up in terms of foundation.” Misquoting our conversation proves lack of integrity and disregard for the truth. I would NOT recommend Brittany to anyone. What I got was thick, caked on makeup that settled awkwardly on my face and was then blamed on my “poor skin.” Brittany’s responses were unsympathetic and untruthful. Brittany, I would expect you to want to learn from a situation like this so you can better your business and yourself. Brides, I hope you choose someone who cares about you as a person, not just as a business transaction. That person is not Brittany.

venue location due to covid. (Originally had Milwaukee planned then moved my wedding to IL). She did not have any issues with this change. I also had myself, 9 bridesmaids and MOB and MOG getting makeup done. Which was more than we originally planned, and she made an addition late for me which was so appreciated! She was able to get all of us in no problem. I had a great experience with her and thought everyone looked lovely. Would highly recommend. :)

you won't have to worry about running out of time! Her style is very natural and the makeup lasted beautifully all day.

the big day and so glad I did. Not only is Brittany so personable and sweet, but extremely talented at makeup. All of our makeup was stunning and lasted the entire day. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting how beautiful we all looked. Thank you for making us look so perfect Brittany!!!
