1 Star – Rude, Rushed, and Overpriced Service
I went to Blush Bridal on a friend’s recommendation. My first visit with Stephanie went great, so patient and helpful, but because I ...
had only tried on about 6 dresses, I decided to pay for a 90-minute appointment on November 14th to see a few more styles before committing for my August 15th wedding.
The second experience was an absolute nightmare.
From start to finish, I was rushed through every single dress. When I asked to see a veil paired with a dress I was trying, the consultant refused, telling me we’d only use a veil once we found "the one." I tried on maybe 5 dresses total, and for several of them, I was barely in them for a full minute before being shuffled along.
The worst part was leaving: as I was walking out, someone at the front desk yelled out at me, “The NEXT appointment is a 'YES' appointment!" That’s when I looked at the clock and realized my paid 90-minute appointment had been cut short at under 60 minutes.
When I went back in to ask why my time was cut short, a staff member condescendingly told me, "There is such a thing as over-shopping for wedding dresses." They offered to make an "exception" for me, but by that point, the damage was done.
Blush Bridal never communicated that follow-up appointments were shorter, nor did they mention a limit on how many dresses you could try on. To make matters worse, they charged me for a 90-minute slot that they now list as free.
I would only recommend this shop if you already know the exact dress you want and don't care about how you're treated. Save your money, time, and peace of mind, and go somewhere that actually values their clients.
Blush Bridal is the most amazing bridal boutique around! I had a pretty crazy vision of having a princess dress with fairy lights sewn into the skirt, with sparkles and detailing! ...
Not only did the stylists help me find the princess dress of my dreams, they also recommended the best alterations specialist around and helped me store my dress in the 2 years between when I bought it and my wedding. They also provided a beautiful space and amazing atmosphere that made my dress buying experience one of the most memorable and unforgettable and magical moments of my life. I honestly didn’t believe all the hype about buying a wedding dress but going to this store made my experience so special and unforgettable and I am eternally grateful! I would highly recommend!!!!
Stephanie was amazing. I found a dress I liked somewhere else, and I’m so glad I didn’t buy it because I found an even better one here. I had a hard time deciding between dresses, ...
and she was so helpful and creative in helping me envision “my” dress during the fitting. Highly recommend coming to Blush!
I worked with Jennifer and she was delightful and made it easy to say what I did and didn’t like about styles. Blush has a good selection and did have higher quality dresses in com...
parison to David’s bridal. I do wish they had some slips to wear under dresses as I would have worn more appropriate underwear to my appointment but other than that I’m thankful for blush and their dress selection.
If I could give more than five stars, I would! Jennifer and Madison are the BEST mother daughter team. They went above and beyond to get to know my personal self and my style to he...
lp me find the most beautiful wedding gown I’ve ever seen. Throughout the whole process I’ve cried multiple times (happy tears) thanks to their absolutely amazing customer service. I definitely recommend Blush Bridal for all your needs. We got all the guys tux’s there and my fiancé got his on a major discount. Thank you to all the amazing ladies at Blush Bridal and Tux Shop.
I had a wonderful experience with Blush. The service and quality was amazing. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. Plus I got the most beautiful dress thank...
s to them! I would recommend them to anyone.
These ladies were so amazing! They made me so comfortable with my body type and price. They have been so helpful throughout the whole process! I would definitely recommend them!
I didn't think there was a huge variety in types of dresses available at Blush- everything seemed to be big ball-gowns (which was not what I was looking for at all). That said, if ...
that's what you're interested in, this would probably be a great place for you to shop! The girl helping me was pretty new and didn't seem to know a whole lot about the dresses. I wish that there was a little more variety in sample sizes- everything seemed to be either an 8 or a 28. I'm not plus-size so it was disheartening that I either couldn't fit into a dress or the consultant would bring me something that I was basically swimming in. It might have saved us time if she had looked at the samples and not bothered to bring in dresses that I wouldn't be able to get on- but again, she was new. But maybe something to consider when training a new salesperson.
Blush is so wonderful. The women are awesome and truly want to help you find your dress. Once you've found your dress, Lindsey the seamstress works to make it fit perfectly and is ...
a lovely person to be around. She made every visit so fun and easy. They even packed my dress for me in my suitcase since I had to fly to our wedding destination. They were so great from start to finish and made me feel welcome every time i was in the shop!
We used Blush for our bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen's suits. There were so many issues I don't know where to begin. First of all, we were told when we booked them that if we...
used them for both the suits and dresses we would get 10% off each. I was told after we bought them that the person who told us was incorrect. Thankfully, the owner still honored that as I was quite upset since we paid for the dresses and suits for our wedding party. They don't have any kind of computer system so they add everything and do the discounts by hand, and it was messed up more than once. Thankfully I can do quick math in my head or we would have been charged over $100 extra. One of the bridesmaid dresses was ordered in the wrong size so it had to be altered down. There were several others that needed to be altered and their alterations girl who looks about 25 did such a terrible job. One of the dresses had to be taken back and redone the week of the wedding, and the rest had to be sewed up the day of the wedding while the girls were getting ready. Fast forward to the suits. None of the groomsmens suits fit properly, and they were all fitted and sized by the employees at Blush. 2 of the men actually had to have different shirts and one ended up just buying one because they still couldn't get the size right. These were normal sized men. The pants were too short on some, too tight on some, the shirts too baggy or sleeves too short. It was a very poor experience from both mine and the groom's point of view, and I would not recommend them.
All the girls at Blush Bridal are such a joy to work with! They helped me find the perfect dress and veil, and helped me with alterations. I couldn't have been happier!
It only took me a moment to realize the outstanding quality of the dresses within this boutique. Head and shoulders above David's Bridal. I felt no pressure to buy and the consulta...
nt let me take all the time I needed (we took longer than our appointment and did not feel rushed). I bought my dress for nearly double what I was planning to spend. But I don't regret it. It looks and feels so much better than any of the other shop's dresses that I tried.
I came back for alterations. Lindsay, the woman that handled all of my alterations, was amazing. Friendly, good at what she does and charges very reasonable rates.
When I initially went to blush I loved the selection of dresses they had and the different colors in the bridesmaids dresses. Everything went great until my bridesmaids dresses ca...
me in and they were a different shade then the sample and then didn't come with pockets like the other dress we had tried on did. Then the groomsmans vests came in and the blues were different shades. I also had to ask for the grooms tux to be free because they forgot and they over charged my father's tux. We ended up spending over $3,500 between my dress and all my bridal parties attire. The day of the wedding 2 of the bridesmaids dresses had ripped and the clip for my bustle broke. When talking to blush about these minor issues they never apologized and blamed the problem on their own staff for saying false information or saying it was other vendors fault. I loved my dress and the wedding was beautiful but I wouldn't go through the stress and hassle of working with them again.
I saw this boutique before and after their move into their new location. This new venue seems to hold many more dresses and has multiple areas for different brides to try dresses o...
n. They have a great selection of wedding dresses in all styles! Great selection of Allure dresses. All of the ladies and the owner are very nice and helpful!
I did get my dress and my veil through them. Both were beautiful and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect experience.
Also the lady (Lindsey) that does the alterations for the shop is fabulous! The day of my last fitting my dress was puckering funny in the front and she fixed it the same day as I needed to leave for my destination wedding!
This small store let me look at all of their dresses, which not all stores allow. I ended up trying on lots of very different styles and found my dream dress. They were helpful a...
nd very nice, even arriving before normal store hours once to accomodate my schedule. However, it would have been good for them to know and have told me that Wtoo dresses run a bit big, because you can't let them out. The result was a big alteration bill to take it in.
I bought my wedding dress at the Blush Bridal in Eugene,OR. I got great customer service and one on one attention from the owner and a consultant. Each time I was in the shop I was...
well cared for and never felt rushed or had to wait for help. Much different then other places I had been.
My only warning is about the seamstress. The one lady that does the alteration didn't listen to me well. She "told" me what adjustments that I would want and how she was going to do them instead of asking what I wanted. And what I did ask she didn't seem to understand. The dress turned out fine but I would have liked some more support in the top of the dress and the heam was a little short. But with the grass it turned out ok.
I tried on a lot of dresses before finally coming in to Blush. They were different than other stores, they didn't make me feel pressured to make a decision. Their alterations lady ...
is also wonderful! This store is located in Eugene, OR, but the review site wouldn't let me enter Eugene, because it didn't recognize it as a valid city, so take note this store is not in Portland.
