Amber is a lifesaver!! Wehired her for my sister's wedding and loved her so much we hired her again for mine! She is calm and collected in every situation and solves problems befor...
e they begin. She is able to give you the best advice for your wedding day and make everything from the tables, napkins, centerpieces, and floral arches beautiful. She is a great advocate for you to make sure you have a perfect wedding day. My wedding day was stress-free because of Amber. She is a tireless worker who prioritizes what the bride and groom want. So happy we got to have her and I could not recommend her more!
My wife and I were married on August 20th, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana at Mavris Arts and Event Center. We got engaged at the end of 2019 and knew we had a longer engagement ahe...
ad of us. We also knew we wanted to have a show-stopping wedding, and the combination of that, plus, the duration of our engagement made us be very particular about who our wedding planner was going to be leading up to our big day. Saying Amber Lamkin from Blush and Blossom Events was the right choice when choosing a wedding planner couldn’t be more of an understatement.
We had a lot of time to plan for our wedding which could easily have led to putting things off or anxiety leading up to our wedding weekend as it was the culmination of, literally, years of planning. However, throughout the entire process, Amber took us by hand, through absolutely everything. She kept us organized, scheduled, relaxed, and made it fun! She reminded us of deadlines with plenty of time to complete to-do’s, while still letting us know when it was perfectly okay to be doing nothing and to just enjoy being engaged.
One of the biggest worries when choosing a wedding planner is the fear that the planner, your liaison to the biggest day of your life, won’t “get you and your partner.” We hope that any couple reading this understands that Amber has no personal agenda, but simply wants to bring your vision to life. Throughout the planning process we’d frequently hop on Zoom calls and go over mood boards, concept planning, or other big ticket items. Amber would show my wife and I something she’d been working on for us and every. single. time…. we’d feel like Amber was able to truly bring to life the ideas that we we were only attempting to describe to her. More often than not, her renderings, insight, or recommendations were creations we didn’t even have the words for. This was an amazing feel working with such an expert. She took our words, ideas, and love story and created an event that perfectly incapsulated all of our dreams… THAT is magic.
From the positive energy that Amber brought to every session, to her sticking up for us at venue tours and not being afraid to pushback at any and everything that wasn’t aligned with our vision…. we really felt like Amber was in our corner the entire time. And that led to the most beautiful, well-organized, well-implemented, display of love on August 20th. We have Amber to thank for laying that foundation and executing on it. It’s hard to say we even “recommend” Amber as a wedding planner because it’s impossible to imagine her not apart of our big day. Amber, thank you so much for everything and we hope you’re able to sprinkle your magic on more couples’ journeys to married life!

re that we were on track throughout the process and provided helpful suggestions and insights when making decisions on various wedding details. She helped us to navigate any challenges that arose at times, and was effective at communicating with other vendors. Her day-of execution was also excellent and things flowed very smooth during the rehearsal and wedding day all thanks to Amber!

niversary celebration. Those were stressful times and to have a calm voice to guide us through all the options, vendor management around changes, and good input on what to repeat and what to change, was amazing. The day of both events, Amber was a true leader - telling people where to be, when to be there and alleviating the stress for me and my wife. I remember at the beginning wondering if we needed to spend the money on a wedding coordinator... IT IS WORTH IT! I couldn't recommend them more highly... great, great job. Thank you Amber!

nge that brings. That's why we were so amazed at how completely stress-free and drama-free our entire wedding planning process was with the support of Amber of Blush and Blossom Events. Adding in her expertise as a florist, Amber managed vendors, decor, and most importantly, family, all while setting the mood and vibe of the entire events and helping us really hone in on what we wanted, separating it from the things we didn't. This all came at the most critical final month before the wedding and it helped give us the peace of mind that everything was going to go exactly as we hoped it would. And it did, beautifully, and joyously. Thank you so much, Amber!

overwhelmed, and afraid I wouldn't be able to have the wedding of my dreams.
She has amazing relationships with vendors around town and was able to pull things together faster than I could have ever imagined.
We had the wedding in my parents' backyard. She handled all last-minute day-of set up and was a dream managing my bridal party/family. When things went wrong (as they always do), she handled the situation (and me) with grace and positivity.
She is a perfect professional. AbsoLUTELY would 10/10 recommend Blush and Blossom Events!

the wedding to discuss all the details, she provided a much needed sense of peace that all these details and vendors that I had chosen on my own over the past several months would all come together in a way that I wouldn't know how to do on my own. From that point on, I knew I was in good hands and truly didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day because I knew she was all over it and she was truly a step ahead of me the entire day. Everybody in my bridal party and family loved her as well, we even had compliments from our guests and vendors about her attention to detail, calmness in the chaos, and keeping everything and everybody in order. Blush and Blossom Events was an integral part of making our day go as smoothly as it did and I'm so thankful that they helped make one of the most important days of our life so special!
After a few months of attempting to plan our wedding without a planner, I realized we were in over our head. Hiring Amber from Blush and Blossom was hands down the best decision we...
made during the wedding planning process. She quickly caught herself up with the details we had set in motion and took lead from where we had left off. She went above and beyond making sure all the I’s were dotted and T’s were crossed. Due to a complete oversight error on my part, we realized the night of the rehearsal that there were some spelling errors regarding names on the wedding program. When panic could have taken over, Amber got us new programs with corrections that looked just as beautiful as the originals within two hours. This is just one testament as to why you should hire a wedding planner; I was able to spend the rehearsal dinner at ease knowing Amber was taking care of it. The day of the wedding was unbelievable. It was perfect in every way, and I have full confidence in saying it was due to Amber’s expertise and attention to detail. We would strongly recommend Amber as a wedding planner to our friends and family.
WONDERFUL! Amber was a delight to work alongside as our wedding planner. Upon first meeting Amber, she was warm, welcoming and organized. She presented herself as a professional an...
d expert planner. We immediately felt comfortable and confident she could help button up the final details of our planning. What is unique about Amber’s business is the multiple packages she offers her clients to assist in planning. We choose the month of package which is was exactly fit out needs. 30 days out from out wedding day, she began organizing vendors, creating and fizzling our timeline, and acting as the main point of contact for the family, the bridal party, and vendors. Additionally, with our package, we had access to Aisle Planner which was a HUGE HELP in organizing RSVPs, meal choices, vendor contacts and more. Having Amber those last few weeks was incredibly helpful, and alleviated stresses that comes with the last few weeks of planning. It allowed us to enjoy our final weeks as engaged couple, having full confidence Amber had every detail under control and taken care of. She was communicative with vendors, responsive to our needs and questions, and day off, made sure everything was taken care of. She was a huge help and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is the perfect choice for your wedding planner.

takes the time to really get to know you and your partner as a couple, so she can ensure your preferences are accounted for throughout the process. We had a BIG wedding, with a million moving parts, and Amber was on top of it all. I really don't know how she handles everything! She conducted herself with such grace and professionalism.
I really appreciated how attentive Amber is. She was very quick to respond to my messages, took critical notes at each meeting, remembered every detail and change, and I could tell she was paying attention to dynamics between people too, so that she could things figured out on time or early - a mark of a truly talented planner. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, making sure everyone had what they needed, and that every single bouquet, frame, place setting, and band member was it their place. I know she was working with a few other brides around the same time, but I always felt like her only client.
Do not hesitate to book Blush + Blossom Events for your wedding day. It will be the best decision you make in your planning process.

nning process. I consider myself a very organized, checklist-oriented person - though, tackling planning a wedding is no small thing. I felt like Amber was "in my corner" by not only communicating with vendors, but also ensuring that all the t's were crossed and i's were dotted ... every step of the way. I'm convinced that my day would not have gone as smoothly, as perfectly as it did without Amber. If you're considering hiring a planner (whether full-service, month-of, or day-of), do yourself a favor and snag Amber before someone else does for your special day!

Additionally, I felt like Amber was my advocate throughout the entire planning process, ensuring that everything went the way I hoped and communicating with all parties to make any needed adjustments. I would HIGHLY recommend Blush and Blossom Events to any bride and will certainly reach out to Amber if I need to plan another type of event in the future. Thank you!
