Blue Rocks Catering

ents. We booked a tasting with our chosen dishes and were blown away—the food was better than restaurant quality, and our only hope was that they could replicate it on the big day. They absolutely delivered! The hand-passed appetizers on the Fort Adams lawn were a huge hit—especially the bacon-wrapped dates, scallops, and mini hot lobster rolls. Dinner was equally amazing, and impressively served hot and fresh despite the challenges of an outdoor venue. Our planner, who has attended countless tastings, even commented that it was some of the best catering she had ever experienced. We truly couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Blue Rocks Catering exceeded expectations in every way, and our guests are still raving about the food. Highly recommend!

my wedding perfect (and they executed!). Had multiple people reach out and tell me that it was the best service and food they've had at a wedding! Their drinks were amazing and just all the staff were soooo soo kind and helpful. Not to mention it POURED rain and they were troopers with umbrellas making sure nothing got wet and food came out warm and perfect. Can confidently say the wedding would not have flowed as well as it did without their expertise and guidance and everything came out perfect and as expected. Would recommend them 10000x times again and will be using them for more events!

essional competence, with the intimacy of warm and dedicated friends! In all the events my wife and I have been a part of or planned, Blue Rocks was the only group whose caliber of service equalled the quality of their food-and it was all amazing! Our guests raved and we have found our catering team for all our future gatherings and parties!

rtions and quality of the food exceeded expectations. From the beginning, we worked with Noelle to customize our menu for our wedding and she is truly such a gem. Noelle is extremely responsive, on top of everything, and has amazing attention to detail. Our venue required us to do rentals for plates, silverware, glassware, etc. which can be an overwhelming process, but Blue Rocks handled these directly with the rental vendor seamlessly. We had several guests compliment how lovely the food looked and tasted at our wedding. My only constructive feedback would be that there seemed to be a noticeable delay from which one room in our venue was served dinner vs. the other – perhaps, they just needed a few more staff to help passing out dinners. Huge thank you to the Blue Rocks team for catering our wedding – we are so happy that we went with your company!

gton was and that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Would book with BR 100 times over! Will be booking for future events!

tasting was wonderful, but we wanted to make a few tweaks to ingredients and the Chef accommodated our requests with ease. Noelle is super patient and always willing to lend a hand and honest advice (even for things not related to the food!)- she truly is a wonderful, thoughtful, & very talented individual! Best of all, our guests are still talking about the food at our wedding (2 months later!!!). We cannot recommend Blue Rocks enough and cannot wait to be able to use them again for future events :)

ster rolls! We even had a shucker walking around with oysters. The set up and display were so exceptional as well and they worked so hard to match our vibe. Everyone that works for Blue Rocks is extremely personable and kind. I can’t say enough about how great they were to work with!

nt above and beyond to make our day seamless and special. Highly recommend!

s for whatever was needed. We were planning the wedding out of town on a budget and she jumped in to help with any and everything she could. They were patient with a reluctant bride and her less than timely answers to questions. Day of the team was top notch. Helpful, kind, attentive and our guests raved about the food and service. I can not recommend them more. They made the wedding!

helped us to plan a delicious menu for our guests, she went above and beyond in her attention to all the details. She was flawless in her assistance to us and arranged our event space beautifully. Everyone on her team was amazing and together they all made my daughter and son-in-law's baby shower a most memorable celebration. We would highly recommend Blue Rocks Catering for your next event!

ents, and deliciously made food. They provided that and more. The team was easy to communicate with in the many months leading up to our day. Through emails and phone consultations, they created an individualized menu that took into consideration our food needs (no shellfish) and vision for a varied menu. They even created a delicious food station with a menu that went outside of the offered choices. They worked within our budget and brought our vision to life. At one point, we asked to do passed horsdevoures all night without assigned tables for our guests. Ultimately we didn’t go with that plan but Blue Rocks was in full support. Our ideas were always met with enthusiasm. We’d highly suggest doing a food tasting with them. They made sure we felt special and our champagne glasses were always full. Being able to enjoy the food and talk to the chef created a lovely memory! Please the food was DELICIOUS! Our July wedding was hot and humid. However, Noelle and her team had smiles on their faces and made sure my husband and I were well taken care of. Their attention to detail, communication across vendors, and kindness didn’t go unnoticed. Noelle even offered to run to the local package store to ensure we had everything we needed. We felt special and cared for. We would highly recommend Blue Rocks Catering for anyone who values supporting a great business and delicious food.

our lots of international guests. The tasting was great, very personal and we went home with lots of leftovers. Our guests raved about the food and Noelle did an awesome job making everything run smoothly, especially when it started to rain. Would highly recommend

ed our expectations in every way, leaving a lasting impression on our special day. The food provided by Blue Rocks was nothing short of spectacular. From the hors d'oeuvres to the main course and desserts, every bite was a culinary delight. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was simply breathtaking. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious food, and many said it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. The exceptional quality of the food was complemented by the outstanding service provided by the Blue Rocks team. They were professional, attentive, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs were met, and they did so with a smile. Their impeccable service added an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to our wedding, and we are immensely grateful for their dedication. What truly sets Blue Rocks apart is their attention to detail. They took care of every little aspect, ensuring that our wedding was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a visual masterpiece. The table settings, the decor, and even the way the food was presented were nothing short of perfection. It was clear that they put their heart and soul into making our day as beautiful as it was delicious. In the often stressful world of wedding planning, Blue Rocks made everything effortless. They were accommodating, responsive, and took the time to understand our preferences and vision. They executed it flawlessly, leaving us stress-free and able to fully enjoy our celebration. In summary, Blue Rocks provided us with an unforgettable dining experience that will be cherished by us and our guests for years to come. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of catering services for any special occasion. Their food is divine, their service is impeccable, and their attention to detail is extraordinary. They truly made our wedding day a dream come true, and we couldn't be more grateful. Thank you, Blue Rocks, for making our day so perfect!

ations with them, we knew we were in good hands. They were fantastic from the start - helping us understand our options, making suggestions for our budget and we love the variety of their menu options which use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. They helped us each step of the way as we dreamed up our perfect menu and let me tell you, it was a hit! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was at our wedding. We worked closely with Noelle who went above and beyond to help ensure we felt supported and that everything was perfect! We wish we could do it all again just to eat the food! We will absolutely use Blue Rocks again in the future and highly recommend them for any event needs! Thank you Blue Rocks team for helping make our dreams come true!!!

hrough the entire wedding process. Blue Rocks provided excellent food and presentation, all of our rentals and linens, and incredible service that our guests continue to compliment. We hope to work with Blue Rocks again for any catering needs!

cks worked closely with us to iron out the details of our intimate, non-traditional reception. We initially went BIG and then got a little sticker shock; they worked with us to tame the menu, rentals and all the details to get to a place that was comfortable for our budget. They knocked it out of the park, and were a pleasure to work with.

ng a fabulous event. From Fantastic table settings, delicious food and warm and friendly staff, Blue Rocks is the Best!!

rees are unique too, it's not your run of the mill blah wedding food. We really wanted to incorporate seafood options at our coastal wedding, and Blue Rocks was able to do that at an affordable price point that other caterers in the area just did not offer. The mini lobster rolls during cocktail hour were a hit! On top of the amazing food and drink, their team is a delight! Noelle is so down to earth and chill while simultaneously on top of everything. She was in constant communication with us in the week leading up to our wedding day to ensure we were aligned in lock step. We had our wedding at a non-traditional venue so we had to bring in all of the supplies. Blue Rocks did the supplies rental through Peak for us, which was incredibly helpful. They already have relationships and know exactly what is needed for the event, things like bar glassware totals, etc. Noelle constantly provided her expert advice for the event setup and flow to ensure their team could execute at their best. We already had our bar selections, but the day before our wedding my fiancée mentioned he'd love to have an aperol spritz during cocktail hour. Noelle checked back at their offices if they had any on hand and brought a bottle to the event just for him. Incredible service! We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

ncredible and memorable and wowed our guests. We chose to do a family style dinner. Blue Rocks helped us put together an exceptional menu that incorporated everything we dreamed of having at our wedding. They incorporated local ingredients and the freshest fish that was caught day of. The hors d'oeuvres were also to die for and the raw bar was a huge hit. Everything was so delicious, they knocked it out of the park. Most importantly, the team at Blue Rocks is kind, responsive, supportive, and talented. They were highly involved in the wedding planning process and participated in every walk through. They went above and beyond and even helped set up tables, flowers, and decorations at our venue. We became great friends with the team and will trust them with any of our culinary needs in the future. Thank you Noelle, Kate, Joel, Katie and the rest of the Blue Rocks staff. Highly recommend.

very responsive to our inquires both via email and phone. With many items to select from Katie and Noelle helped guide us through their brunch menu offerings. An on-site visit of our home was invaluable as we worked to solidify our menu, décor, table placement, linens, and floral arrangements. Without a doubt, Blue Rock is a full-service catering company! On the day of the event Blue Rock showed up early to insure everything was in order. The food, service and presentation was nothing less than perfection. Our menu was just the right balance of breakfast and lunch offerings. The baked goods and deserts were to die for and the Bellini Bar added to a perfect day. Our guests still rave about the food! Choosing Blue Rock for your next event will be one of the best decisions you make! We look forward to working with the team again in the future.

spite all the complications of the day, Blue Rocks delivered a truly delicious meal that met everyone’s needs and did it with such kindness and professionalism despite having to ferry food outside in the downpour. Working with them in the lead up the event was incredibly easy and they were flexible as our needs changed. We cannot recommend them highly enough!!

edits, and giving us an incredible tasting. The day of went very smoothly, especially considering the team had to feed 110 people in our backyard with no access to a real kitchen - I don't know how they did it! The raw bar with oysters from Katie's family farm were a huge hit and many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was, including a guest who is a chef at a prominent restaurant in Boston. I would absolutely hire Blue Rocks again and am hoping I have another event just so I can work with them again :)

tate to hire them again for our next event.

tyle dinner, which was so yummy. I would recommend Katie and her crew to anyone who asked- loved them!

e to rave about the food. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

ith through the entire process. We were so happy with everything and highly recommend them.

, attentive, and personable. The food was delicious! My only regret is I don’t have an upcoming occasion to have them cater another event.

od was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Every person who came to the event was professional and friendly. I will happily recommend them to anyone who is looking for a caterer for their special event.

choice. They still managed to outperform our expectations on the day of the wedding. Every part of the service - the hors d'oeuvres, the cheese board, the bar, and of course, dinner, was perfect. The food was incredible and the portions were huge. No one left hungry. So many of our guests told us how fantastic the food was. We couldn't recommend Blue Rocks more highly.

looking for. They had options for family style serving, value local sourced food and were easy to make decisions with that catered to our style. Their positive, down to earth energy and AMAZING food, and genuine care for our happiness, made for the most perfect day of our lives. Even the guests raved about it (especially the oysters & flank steak). It was so seamless and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. Thank you to blue rocks and your amazing team for making our day so special.

d what she was hired to do and there are no words that could appropriately describe how grateful I am. My wedding took close to 3 years to plan thanks to covid and she was there every step of way! From changing of venues to actually making sure I ate on the big day and everything in between. Our friends and family raved about the food for weeks after and even said they have never had food as good at a wedding or even a restaurant. If you are looking for the BEST food in New England for your event, look no further.

w bar spectacular

t stop raving about the food. Especially if you're looking to impress out of town guests with the best new england cuisine, they're your people. I really appreciated how they checked in on me & my husband during the ceremony to make sure we were eating (we weren't!) and made us a plate - Blue Rocks is just tasty taste, full stop. The team was also super helpful with last-minute furniture and heater rentals (you know weather is unpredictable) and everything was totally stress-free.

al and the exemplary service of their staff. I have an allergy and they took great care to ensure all of the food was able to be enjoyed with confidence. We didn’t want a typical wedding food experience and Blue Rocks delivered, we enjoyed locally sourced cuisine from both farm and sea. Our guests are still talking about how great everything was. Would highly recommend!

there each time, every step of the way, to work with me on a new date and a new menu, reflective of the current season. We finally were able to get married on August 20, 2021, and our expectations for food were definitely exceeded. In fact, it was in the top three compliments from our wedding guests, between the food, the band, and the desserts. We started with some passed hors d'oeuvres, including, my favorite, filet of beef w. garlic aioli, roasted tomato, and arugula micro on black sea salt parmesan toast. Along with a couple other passed appetizers, we also requested an artisan cheeseboard and a New England raw bar, which was absolutely amazing, with oysters and clams freshly shucked per order. We decided on dinner stations as opposed to served, sit down dinners and the Blue Rocks staff did an awesome job ensuring each table was called in a timely fashion to get their entrees. I honestly cannot even decide if I liked the pasta station with the fresh tagliatelle with braised beef shank ragu and the penne rigate, basil pesto cream sauce, grilled chicken + blistered cherry tomatoes OR the Butchers Block station with the garlic-herb grilled flank steak w/ smokey chimichurri and the rosemary + garlic pork loin w/ pinot noir & cherry pan sauce, better!! They even managed to make the salad bar look appetizing with two different salads, an artisan romaine Tuscan Caesar salad and a summer berry salad, and I am not even a vegetable eater!! I will say, again, the staff were amazing, in that, they made sure my husband and I always had an appetizer in hand or ensuring we had full plates of the dinner options to sit down and eat, something couples so often forget to do at their wedding!! Last, but not least, the cocktail bar was handled expertly, without guests having to wait long periods of time to receive their beverages, including our signature cocktails, created and presented beautifully by Blue Rocks Catering: The Summer Rose Sangria and The Moscow Mule. I would highly recommend Blue Rocks Catering for any future catering events and can confidently say you will receive the best service and care with Katie and her team!! P.s. I almost forgot about the late night menu Blue Rocks offers as well!! After a long night of dancing and drinking, about an hour before guests were departing, we had miniature cheeseburger sliders with pickles and french fries. This definitely helped to end the night on a good note and to soak up some alcohol before the end of the event! It was perfect. Thank you again Katie, and your staff at Blue Rocks Catering for everything!! Lindsay + Mitchell

ing layout, as we had a wedding under a tent at a place we had to bring everything in. It was a big undertaking and Katie was right in there with us as we built our wedding from the ground up. It’s a local family owned Rhode Island company -it’s good people, excellent food, and quality service. You cannot go wrong! We love Katie and her team -they even helped my husband surprise me with oysters and food for after the wedding and put them in our apartment for us. High quality team and We can’t wait to be able to book them for other future events!!

ad attended a friend’s wedding catered by Blue Rocks and immediately knew she wanted to have them cater her upcoming wedding, as well. Kate listened to our requests and provided the outstanding service and delicious food we had hoped for. Guests commented on the overall quality and presentation of the food and beverages. From the appetizers (butternut squash and goat cheese tartlets were amazing!) to the variety of small plate entrees (braised short ribs with risotto, mini lobster rolls, chicken and waffle), there was something for everyone. I highly recommend Blue Rocks Catering for a memorable wedding reception!

of the main compliments I keep getting from our guests was how AMAZING the food was. From the display of her unique hors d'doeurves to the absolute magnificent cheeseboard, I'd highly recommend Blue Rocks Catering. Thank you for making our day unforgettable

inner" before the wedding and PEOPLE ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT. We also had them for the wedding day!! And the personal attention on our wedding day was absolutely amazing. Our guests couldn't get over how delicious the food was! And how nice and personable the bartenders were. I am so thankful that I chose the Blue Rocks Team to cater our wedding, they were Simply the Best.

+ again!! Katie and her crew knocked both events out of the park again, just like they did the first time we hired them. And the raw bar at the rehearsal dinner that Katie's husband, Matt, from Behan Family Farms, spread out was FANTASTIC!! Oysters don't get any fresher than that unless you are on the boat! Every member of both crews was terrific. Katie and Matt are some of the sweetest people I have ever met! You will never be disappointed with any aspect of Blue Rocks Catering. And adding a raw bar from Behan's is the cherry on top!!

astic. I got so many compliments on the food and everyone was excited to hear they would be at the wedding. The staff was extremely helpful and so nice. I didn’t need to worry about a thing..

cked from our first phone call and I could just tell that she was someone we could trust to make our foodie dreams come true. My husband and I are super foodies and wanted our guests to walk away thinking that wasn’t just another wedding meal – Katie made that happen!! It was literally impossible to choose what items we wanted on our menu after the tasting because everything was so delicious. When we finally settled on a menu, Katie was flexible with totally personalizing our options and always listening to the things that were important to us. Our guests are still asking about the crab cakes, short ribs, and oyster bar! Katie’s husband has his own oyster farm and we were able to have a raw bar at the wedding which was an absolute hit! The bartenders also made the most amazing cocktails and didn’t skimp out on any of the good stuff. The staff was incredible and efficient and always checked in to see if there was anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we were so happy to work with someone as genuine as Katie and her amazing staff at Blue Rocks!

vor to a fantastic day!
