Blue Ridge Pizza Co.

them to the dance floor and had a blast dancing with them. Truly an amazing team. We had a few calls with the before the wedding to make sure everyone was on board. I will forever recommend them. Also who doesn’t like pizza and this pizza was absolutely incredible. Thank you so much blue ridge pizza co team!

esponsive!

zzas were cooked quickly and our guests never had to wait! Everything was delicious! I have had multiple guests rave about how much they enjoyed it! Thank you for traveling to out location and helping to making this special event wonderful!

food was absolutely amazing, such good service and quantities our guests were raving and full! They were so incredibly thoughtful and intentional about taking care of our guests (getting my sister in law with a newborn food and taking care of her, making sure the groom and I were fed and had drinks, taking care of my elderly guests etc etc) they went ABOVE and beyond. Our wedding coordinator last minute got sick and I was absolutely worried about everything, they came early on the wedding day and I trusted Melissa, she absolutely ensured everything was what I dreamed of. If you are looking for a thoughtful and incredible catering, look no further I would choose them again in an instant. ❤️ the absolute best we will be searching for their events to visit them again.

ere on time and so friendly and efficient. They even boxed up leftovers for us. We highly recommend them for any wedding events!

we had some outlandish quotes from other companies, choosing them was a no-brainer after our initial contact with them but was also easily the most impactful great decision we made in wedding planning. The entire BRPC team was fantastic to work with. They were dedicated, responsive, and just all-around lovely. Our wedding day was a day that we just got to enjoy because they had it handled. The food was amazing! We got so many compliments, some from our pickiest of eaters on the guest list. The catering and bar staff was so dedicated and on top of it. They made sure we ate on the day- had appetizers and drinks ready for us after the ceremony, always made sure we had a drink, got enough to eat- just so attentive. Every single one of them who worked our wedding was lovely and several of our guests even told us how impressed they were and how friendly the staff was. The cleanup of the evening was also handled very well. They packed our car and sent us off with some leftovers. They had it all completed before we could help, which we had been expecting to do. Melissa, Dani, and the entire team who worked on our wedding, thank you! We got to just enjoy our day because you had it all handled and we loved having you all there with us! We HIGHLY recommend booking BRPC!

em if we were to host another event in the mountains.

eat to work with and accommodated some of our guests food preferences (gluten free pizzas and cheese pizzas for picky kids!). They helped us to create a custom pizza as well. We heard so many rave reviews from our guests who couldn't stop talking about the how good the pizza was (best rehearsal food they've had)! The wood fire oven that they bring also just added to the experience and it was amazing to watch them fire the pizzas on site. If you're looking for good food for your rehearsal dinner or wedding, I would highly recommend Blue Ridge Pizza Co.!

ly responsive, patient, and professional with us! The day of the wedding, they knew exactly what they were doing and had no problem setting up, serving, or breaking down our wedding of 120 people. The food was delicious and was a huge hit with all of our guests! In particular, I think the “Cider Fest” and “The Meats” pizzas got the most raving reviews! I highly recommend hiring BRPC if you are looking for a cool and yummy alternative to standard wedding food!

tail hour and entire night). Prices are reasonable and they work with you on best ways to stay within budget. Great experience!

itivity to our guests. Their spread was delicious and had so many options to choose from! Whether you are gluten-free or enjoy all the gluten in the world, BRPC will exceed your expectations and leave you craving more!!!

married at Bold Rock in Nellysford and when we booked we were given a list of vendors they had previously worked with and that's where we found Blue Ridge. They catered our cocktail hour and dinner service flawlessly and everyone at the wedding raved about them! They gave us one of each pizza to take home at the end of the night and it was phenomenal after a long night of dancing! Absolutely book them you will always remember the amazing food you had at your wedding!

ghly recommend them to anyone needing catering!

nd provided high quality food and service. They give a lot of value for your dollar. We couldn't recommend them more strongly.

tly and quickly responded to emails, had phone call sessions with us, and we got to meet them in person for the initial tasting. The food the day-of the wedding was SO good and I had my coordinator get me a second plate that I ate all of. They also provided bartending services for us. We highly suggest them for your wedding!

ck for it. At the wedding, we had people coming up to us apologizing that they judged our choice, and that it was such a great idea and that they were heading back for seconds! Melissa and Justine also do wedding coordinating and it's a must have! They brought my ideas to life, and even gave me more ideas. They have an eye for detail and helped make my wedding amazing. Melissa and Justine are so nice and easy to work with. I would 10000% recommend them and Blue Ridge Pizza!

y top of the list. Very responsive, reasonably priced, and the food was DELICIOUS. The entire Blue Ridge team was so kind and engaging and made our event completely stress-free. I cannot say enough good things about them. Our entire group enjoyed the event, and because the pizza was cooked in their on-site oven, not only was it tasty, but also fresh and warm! Highly, highly recommended.

derlusts from Michigan. We decided to have an intimate destination wedding outside of Harrisonburg, Virginia – 10 hours from our home – on the grounds of a historic bed and breakfast. Blue Ridge Pizza Company was one of the caterers recommended by our wedding planner.   At first, we grappled with the idea of hiring a wood-fired pizza truck. Would it seem cheap? Would it feel too quirky or casual? Would our guests, who traveled many miles to join us, feel disappointed in pizza and salad for the grand occasion?   Spoiler alert: Nope. Nothing could be farther from the truth!   We visited BRPC's commissary kitchen in November 2021 – our one trip to Virginia before the actual wedding in October 2022. We spent an hour chatting with the wonderful owners, tasting their food, and letting our doubts fade away. Our favorite items from that tasting were the bacon-wrapped dates, the Cider Fest, and The Meats.   BRPC's customer service is even better than its food. Hard to believe, we know! We worked with Justine and Melissa remotely from the initial inquiry to the big day. These ladies were a complete joy! They communicated frequently and thoroughly, answered countless questions, and worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, venue, and other vendors.   We chose three appetizers, a charcuterie board, a wonderful salad ("The Charleston"), and four varieties of wood-fired pizza for our reception. We also utilized BRPC's bartending services. They worked with us on signature cocktails – making recommendations and suggestions we hadn't considered.   Before the reception, we were delighted by the smells of food prep. The scent of premium, cooked meats wafted to us on the gentle breeze and gave us a preview of coming attractions. Unexpected bonus! Our guests loved BRPC's offerings, and we all ate until we couldn't eat anymore. Several guests commented that it was the pizza they'd ever had.   The bartenders were wonderfully courteous, prompt, and energetic. One of my favorite memories from the reception was watching the bartenders bust a move behind the bar. Moments like that create big smiles and full hearts. I'm thankful BRPC was there to celebrate with us!

cheesecake bites! The staff was so helpful and wonderful, the presentation was beautiful, and the constant communication leading up to the event was so easy and effortless. Thank you for making it a night to remember!!

the pizza, desserts and donuts!! My niece loved the gluten free and vegan cheese options!! If I could I would give them 10 stars!!

d celebration with all of our family and friends for when he returned from a military deployment. We had dreamed of having pizza at our celebration, so hearing about Blue Ridge Pizza Co. from our venue coordinator was so exciting. Not only did they provide exceptional, fast service and amazing food (the appetizers are just as wonderful as the pizza, which is saying a lot), but every member of the team is extremely kind and truly caring, ensuring all of our guests had a wonderful experience. The team was also present in the entire planning process, which began over a year before our date, to ensure the day was a complete success. The online portal Blue Ridge Pizza Co. uses for communication is super user-friendly, which, combined with Melissa's attention to detail and organization, was such a gift to me as I planned. Prior to booking, we received a free pizza tasting while at Polo at King Family Vineyards, which was in addition to an incredible "to-go" tasting Jay made a few weeks prior to the wedding so my husband could also enjoy the tasting experience once he was home. In short, Blue Ridge Pizza Co. goes above and beyond to support you during wedding planning and totally delivers a crowd-pleasing experience for your cocktail hour and reception. Our celebration was better than we could have hoped or dream, much thanks to Blue Ridge Pizza Co! While I am so happy to have enjoyed such a wonderful day, I am going to miss emailing with all of the Blue Ridge Pizza Co. team, as they are such a joy to interact with. Thank you for everything, Blue Ridge Pizza Co.!

e breakdown. They went above and beyond to make the day special. Thanks for the shirts!

dating, patient, detail oriented. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, thankfully they were available for our new date. The staff was so friendly during our wedding! Our guests loved the pizza - they talked about it days after the wedding. Everyone raved about the chicken bbq! My personal favorite was the Margherita. If you need a salad you can’t go wrong with the Charleston. Thank you again for making our wedding run so smooth.

y responsive and supportive in helping the event run smoothly. Huge thank you to Melissa for coordinating everything and answering all our questions in the months/days leading up to our wedding! We couldn’t have asked for a better catering company for our big day!

erved our wedding cocktail hour and reception effortlessly and everything looked and tasted fantastic! I received so many compliments about how the great the food tasted and about how friendly and kind all of the staff was. Melissa, one of the owners, is truly an ANGEL to work with and even offers Day of Coordination services, which truly saved my sanity. I hope to work with them again in the future and HIGHLY recommend everyone jump at the chance to work with this amazing company!!

e planning process. I definitely recommend them for your wedding!

nt closings, etc. I reached out to my son's wedding venue, The Market at Grelen's amazing Event Manager, Kristin Simler and she gave me the best recommendation to hire Blue Ridge Pizza Co. for our catering service. Note, that I was fortunate to be able to work out having this special dinner at this spectacular venue. Blue Ridge Pizza Co. is definitely first class! Melissa was very detailed with all my needs at the time of my needs. Communication was excellent! She quickly set up a Zoom call with me and my theme Love & Pizza was born! She responded to my emails quickly and answered all of my questions. Her attention to details and customer service was outstanding! Not only was the food delicious, they displayed it beautifully too! Love, Love, Love their wood-fired pizza creations! In our package I picked 4 that our families got to enjoy: Margherita, Summertime, BBQ Chicken and New York, New York (gluten free crust also available). The Charleston Salad was also delicious and for dessert we had 2 different kinds of cheesecake and brownies that were so yummy! The staff was incredible! They made sure all our needs was met. Even made sure our flower girl was taken care of. We had such a good time. Staff packed up left over pizza and dessert so that the Bride and Groom to be could enjoy later as well as some family members too. I would book Blue Ridge Pizza Co. again and again for every event we have if I lived in Virginia. I wished we did lived closer so we could enjoy more of the best wood-fired pizza I ever had! Thank you Melissa & Jay Johnson!

throughout the night. The pizza and salads were fantastic, some of the best tasting pizza I’ve had. We were never waiting for food as they were constantly bringing out new pies as needed and were extremely accommodating to all of our guests. Just wonderful to work with and would highly recommend using them for any catering party you want, their menu of pizza options are really really good!! -Joe R

up, and obviously, the food was delicious! Working with Melissa was such a breeze and she was so helpful and supportive the entire process and available to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. A few weeks before the wedding, they even let us do a free tasting of their pizza, which was so very appreciated! I highly recommend Blue Ridge Pizza if you are looking for something a little different for your wedding other than just the standard plated dinners. It's a unique and delicious addition to your wedding, and I promise you you won't regret not going the "traditional" route.

ime is unmatched and they went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Our guests LOVED the pizza (as did we). Can not recommend Blue Ridge Pizza Co enough!
