We are so grateful we chose Alyssa at Blue Locket Photography for our September 2024 wedding! This review is a little late because life got so crazy after receiving our photos and ...
heading off on our honeymoon, but we knew we had to take the time to share how amazing our experience was. From the very first discovery call, we knew we had found the right photographer. Alyssa was so kind, friendly, and genuine. She made us feel comfortable and excited about the whole process, and it truly felt like she cared about us as people, not just clients.
As part of our package, we had an engagement shoot, which was such a great way to get to know Alyssa and feel more at ease in front of the camera. By the time our wedding day came around, it felt natural to have her and her assistant there capturing everything. They were organized, professional, and made sure to get every single shot we had hoped for, all while keeping the day stress-free for us. I never once had to worry about photos, which was such a gift.
The photos themselves are absolutely beautiful. I chose Alyssa because I loved her photography and editing style, and she exceeded every expectation. She captured not only the big, important moments but also the sweet, candid ones we couldn’t have anticipated. Looking back through the gallery, we felt like we were reliving the entire day.
On top of all of that, Alyssa is incredibly thoughtful. When our full gallery arrived in the mail, it came with some beautiful keepsakes and handmade touches that showed just how much she cares about her couples. The attention to detail and care she puts into her work is truly unmatched.
We can’t recommend Alyssa and Blue Locket Photography enough. She is talented, professional, kind, and goes above and beyond in every way. Choosing her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!
Alyssa is the sweetest, most patient, and skilled photographer I know. Not only is she extremely receptive to what shots you would like, she is also knowledgeable about where the s...
hots may look best and how to make them even better. My wedding was on a Friday and she sent me 4 sneak peeks on SATURDAY. On Monday she sent me even more. If you're an eager beaver bride like I was, you will be more than satisfied with her turnaround time to show you some special highlights. I cannot get over how my photos turned out and I love photos. I keep showing her work to all of my friends/family/coworkers and they're saying how brilliant she is with a camera. Please book Alyssa as your photographer, you will not regret it for a second.
My third-grade student: "I love the photo with the clouds above it, it looks so cool."

usician is comfortable in front of the cameras but me not so much! Our engagement shoot with her was so much fun and we included our two small dogs. She chose the best spots for our photos and took all of my requests. We had a great variety of photos which came back amazing so we knew our wedding day would be the same! Our wedding day we had two shooters including her, they captured every detail and shot all my requests again! Our photos came out amazing, we had some sneak peeks days later on our honeymoon to enjoy! She sent some more along a week or so later and we had everything in a little over a month! The organization of the shots was amazing as well into details, getting ready, ceremony, reception, etc. We have had so many compliments asking who our photographer was and we could not recommend her enough!
It took us awhile to find a wedding photographer because we wanted someone who we felt comfortable with and trusted to capture photos that would last forever. Alyssa came recommend...
ed to us from another photographer, and as soon as we looked through her work and spoke to her, we knew she was the one. Alyssa is simply AMAZING!! She is so kind and easy to work with. We really appreciated that she was willing to travel all the way to Boston to do our engagement photos. She made us feel comfortable in front the camera and, even though we knew she was good, we were blown away by the photos she took of us. On our wedding day, Alyssa (and Mary) were wonderful and super efficient. Our family loved working with them and could not stop talking about how great the photographers were. We just got a sneak peak of our wedding photos and they are STUNNING. We can't wait to see the rest of the album. We cannot recommend Alyssa enough to other couples!!!
Besides choosing to marry each other, going with Alyssa at Blue Locker for photography was the best decision we made regarding our wedding this past September. Not only is Alyssa e...
xtremely talented and her work is absolutely stunning, she is super professional and communicative, and just genuinely a truly wonderful person. We are truthfully an awkward couple that doesn’t know how to take photos, and Alyssa made it so easy and stress-free, and truly just a super fun experience. I’ve already recommended Blue Locket to friends, and now to anyone reading this!!
I found Alyssa on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her style of shooting, we were so glad she was available for our wedding and booked her as soon as we secured our venu...
e. The complimentary engagement session gave us the perfect opportunity to be in front of the camera and get to know her before the big day. She truly has the most calming presence and made us feel so relaxed and ourselves throughout the whole day. Her photos not only came back to us super quick but they are the most beautiful photos and I will treasure them forever. If you are looking for a photographer I cannot recommend Alyssa enough!!!
I would 100% recommend Alyssa without any hesitations. She photographed our wedding at Flag Hill in Lee, NH on July 10th, 2022. She is personable, warm, welcoming, and brings you a...
t ease which is exactly what you need before all your big moments. We have received so many compliments on our photos. She captures emotions with such ease, she is a natural. Pick her for capturing your small and big moments.
We booked Alyssa after having a horrible experience elsewhere. Alyssa brought back our trust in a wedding photographer. I would do it 100 times over!

or an affordable price. Professional and a pleasure to work with! We have never worked with a photographer before so we felt like it would be so awkward but it wasn't at all. Thank you Alyssa and your team for the wonderful pride you take and how great you made us feel as a couple!

ade us feel so comfortable despite initially being nervous in front of the camera. We both still rave about how much (unexpected) fun we had at our engagement shoot. When I was struggling to put together a timeline a few weeks before the wedding, Alyssa didn’t hesitate to set up a phone call with me to offer her tips and feedback. She kept our wedding day running smoothly, always keeping an eye on the timeline and shot list to ensure we didn’t miss any photos that were important to us. She was a totally calming presence on a busy/stressful day. When my husband’s aunt died unexpectedly just one month after the wedding, Alyssa went above and beyond, sending us a few family photos and candids that she had taken while she finished editing the rest of our gallery. We absolutely love all of the photos that she captured and are so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with her. She is kind, professional, and extremely talented!
My fiancé and I booked Alyssa asap once we saw her work and talked to her on the phone. Our wedding is in July 2022 but we’ve already had the pleasure of Alyssa taking our engageme...
nt photos. She was so fun, got to know us and even went to our location (Portsmouth) earlier in the day to scope out the best places for pictures. We felt so seen as a couple and comfortable posing. Another thing we loved is she just let us be us and captured it beautifully. I would recommend Blue Locket to any couple/family in need of an amazing northeastern photographer.
Alyssa was so lovely to work with and great with our young son and two dogs. She captured our family perfectly. We can’t recommend her enough!

ng out our timeline for the day, and added on an extra hour when we realized we needed it. She was really great about directing people for group photos and fading into the background for candid shots. Our golden hour photos are beautiful, and I honestly believe my bridal portraits could be from a magazine, she made me look that good.
She made me and my now husband so comfortable in our engagement photos, and even got some incredible shots of our dog. We've already received our entire edited album less than 6 weeks after the wedding! I would one hundred percent recommend Alyssa for wedding photography.
I am OBSESSED with Alyssa and her work.

osing one. Alyssa was by far the best quality/value, so I knew she was going to be good but she EXCEEDED my expectations. Not only are our photos absolutely phenomenal but she was so easygoing to work with. I can't imagine having our photos done by anyone else, she is the best and I can't praise or recommend her enough.
Alyssa is wonderful and her work is amazing. Our engagement pictures were stunning! Just the kind of natural, earthy, genuine vibe I was looking for. I cannot wait to see our wed...
ding pictures because I know they will be even more than I could imagine. I was pleased with the pricing options and everything was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely choose Blue Locket to capture more important life milestones in the future!

Enter Alyssa and Blue Locket Studios.
She was extremely easy to work with, answering all my random questions quickly with grace and patience. The moments captured will certainly be loved for many years to come.

s light and fun while making you forget that there's a camera there. The fall photos turned out very crisp and vibrant. We will definitely cherish these for the rest of our lives!
I connected with Alyssa about photographing my wedding after hearing about her from a friend. She made the process of finding and signing a photographer so easy!
I love the depth...
, warmth, brightness and emotional that are found in her photos!
Our engagement session with her felt comfortable and natural, everything you want in photographers!
I look forward to working with Alyssa in the future when she caputures my wedding!
Alyssa's photography is beautiful and unmatched by her competitors in the area. She captures depth, color, and authenticity flawlessly in every picture.

k with - she's kind, patient, and has a great sense of humor. She loved our dog (even though he was misbehaving the entire session), which really says it all!
We are honored to have her shooting our engagement and wedding photos!

ts!! You cannot go wrong hiring Alyssa, she is a sweetheart & an highly skilled photographer!! :)
Alyssa is such an amazing photographer! She did our engagement photos and shot our wedding. From the preview shots we've gotten so far, I could not be happier with her work. She...
truly has a sixth sense for when the lighting is best and is so adventurous in her locations -- she definitely puts herself out there in order to get the perfect shot! Despite the fact that she had never been to our venue before, she worked with our venue coordinator to find some gorgeous locations to take photos.
We wanted a photographer that made us look more natural and at-ease, someone who could capture our more candid moments and she did just that. Half the time, I didn't realize she was there shooting! She definitely blended in and captured the true, genuine moments of our wedding without making us feel like we were constantly in the spotlight. I would recommend Alyssa & Blue Locket to all my friends and family.
Alyssa and her second shooter shot my boss’s wedding which I did the makeup for and they were amazing! The preview pics she posted are incredible! And throughout the day I could se...

WOW! Honestly I knew that Alyssa was amazing from working with her previously (she photographed my hair salon Studio 90 and has photographed some of the brides who’s hair I’ve done...
for their wedding) but I had no idea she would exceed my expectations even more than she had in the past. I have very high expectations since I work in the wedding industry. When I tell you that my photos look like they could be in a magazine I am not lying. Alyssa is so professional, sweet and understanding. She is a pleasure to work with and so was her second shooter. No awkward posing situations and the photos were taken so efficiently that I didn’t feel like we were posing for hours on end. Alyssa had a couple sneak peaks up the next day, AMAZING! One thing I really appreciate about Alyssa is that not every one of her weddings looks the same. She doesn’t use the same “filter” for every bride. Each wedding has its own vibe and really goes with the brides look. I honestly can’t say enough great things about Alyssa and Blue Locket Photography! Highly recommend to any bride looking for the most beautiful photos!
We worked with Alyssa for our engagement and wedding photos. She did a wonderful job and made us feel very comfortable and at ease. She arrived early at our venue and picked out in...
credible spots for our first look photos. Working with her was very natural and she took many candid photos which we wanted. Alyssa pulled us before dinner to take golden hour pictures which came out beautiful. Getting to sneak away from the reception for a couple minutes was one of the highlights of our night. We would definitely recommend Alyssa to anyone!

r photos came out and she was very open to our ideas of where we wanted to take photos. Alyssa was also great at wrangling our families after the ceremony for formal portraits. We could not be happier that we hired Blue Locket for our wedding!

nd suggested ideas that we didn't know we would want. I met Alyssa exactly a year before our wedding, and we discussed what our wedding would be like and what we were hoping to be captured. On the wedding day, they did such a great job. They captured so many pictures without me even knowing they were there. Alyssa listened to me whenever I asked for a certain type of photo. The great service didn't end at the wedding. We got married in late October, so knowing that we would probably want to give photos as gifts for the holidays, Alyssa asked if I wanted any specifically. I told her which ones I would like and she uploaded them with a few others, which were all so amazing and beautiful. Then a week later she surprised us by uploading our whole gallery, which was almost exactly 2 months from the day of our wedding. I thought that was great as it was 3 days before Christmas. We all know that is a busy time of year for everyone. We are just so happy to have this special moment in our lives captured in such a beautiful way and we will cherish these photos forever. I would definitely
recommend Blue Locket Photography to anyone near the Portsmouth, NH area.

ommitted to working together, she took time to walk through our venue with me, learn about our vision for our wedding day, and scope out good photo opportunities. Alyssa also helped me plan our wedding day timeline in order to plan for the best lighting. For our engagement session, she was so flexible with time and location. She was willing to walk around in the snow for a couple of hours for the engagement shoot, and she even did some hiking with us on our wedding day. Alyssa was able to adapt to changing environments and would work to figure out the best way to get a good shot. During both the engagement shoot and our wedding day, I especially appreciated her calm, gentle personality. She never made us feel rushed or like we didn’t know what to do. We also loved and appreciated her assistant. They worked together to capture everything we wanted at the wedding. We love our photos and know that we will treasure them for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Alyssa!
We have so many positive things to say about Alyssa and Blue Locket Photography! We first stumbled upon Alyssa’s work online and were immediately drawn to her style. We assumed she...
would be out of our price range given the quality of her work, but were pleasantly surprised to find she was right within our budget. We didn’t hesitate to book our date and set up our complimentary engagement shoot.
The engagement session was a great opportunity for her to get to know us and our style. Alyssa spent hours with us during our engagement session to capture stunning pictures, and we were also able to include our dog in some of the photos!
We couldn’t be happier with all of the shots that she captured on the day of our wedding. It was held at a unique location with a lot of character, and I told Alyssa how important it was to me to capture the small details in addition to all the traditional and fun photos. She did exactly what I asked and more. She even pulled us aside briefly for sunset photos, which were BEAUTIFUL and I would highly recommend! Everything went seamlessly on the day of our wedding and many of our guests commented that both photographers were very unobtrusive during the ceremony.
Looking back at our photos brings us right back to our special day and we will cherish those memories forever.
We can’t recommend Alyssa enough- she is very professional, responsive, easy to work with, and overall incredibly talented. If you are looking for a wedding photographer go no further, Alyssa will not disappoint! We will definitely be working with her again in the future!

ut me at ease. I originally found her on The Knot and was blown away by her photos. But actually working with her was the best part of the experience. She is so sweet and funny and Max and I were completely comfortable with her during the wedding and engagement shoot. One of my biggest wedding pet peeves is an overly invasive photographer. I have been to so many weddings where the photographers were right in the way, and didn't take the guests into consideration what so ever. But Alyssa and her assistant didn't miss a single photo opportunity and managed to stay on the sidelines. Although I would have been very happy to have them join the party! Alyssa also had THOUSANDS of photos back to us in less than 3 weeks. 3 freaking weeks. And they exceeded every expectation that I had. The photos are absolutely stunning. I scroll through them just about every single week and I've been married 6 months now. The photos are absolutely PERFECT and I love showing them off every single chance I get!

o customize the package to what was important to us (for example adding an extra hour of wedding coverage in place of engagement photos). She asked in advance about all the photos we didn't want to forget to snap. She arrived earlier than planned and was available to pull aside throughout the night for important impromptu pictures. Most importantly she left us with beautiful photos in a timely manner that helped us to relive the whole day!

I can’t wait to work with you again Alyssa! Thanks for being you!!

ncluded in our package that was a great way of meeting her and helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Alyssa was responsive throughout the planning process and provided a survey for us to fill out so she knew exactly what we wanted on the big day. Day-of she and her second shooter were everywhere without being in the way- which is the mark of a really great event photographer, in my opinion. And, of course, our pictures came out absolutely beautiful! She uses the elements and weather to her advantage and really knows how to capture a moment. Highly recommended!!

d someone who would be comfortable to work with and whose work reflected this. Alyssa was the perfect choice! She's so sweet and easy going and open to anything! She's a true talent and an amazing person! Looking forward to future shoots with her!

t has so much going on Alyssa has a great cadence to the schedule and went with the flow of the day. She was happy to follow us to anywhere we wanted a photo taken (including down a slippery rockside into the seashore!) She gave us such great preview photos the very next day after our wedding, and when we received the full set (so quick and in the cutest package - with a sweet gift too!) I was over the moon. Booking and payment on her website was easy and straight-forward, and everything she included in her package options was very clear. She’s also open to working on any changes you want to make.
Our friends loved our photos too, so they used our recommendation and also had Alyssa as their wedding photographer. When we were at their wedding, Alyssa greeted us like an old friend, really showing how much she cares about her customers. I can’t recommend her enough, and will forever treasure the perfect photos she captured. Take a look at her Instagram profile - her highlights are just a preview to how many great photos you will receive. Thank you Alyssa, you’re the best!

pture our session perfectly at our favorite new spot-- the beaches in Rye. Alyssa was so accomodating, responsive, helpful and professional. We immediately knew we picked the best! My fiancee and I are both camera shy and Alyssa made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. From the very first picture she made the session feel easy for us, and she even ventured into freezing waters and onto coastal rocks to get some shots. That's how you know a photographer cares! I highly recommend Alyssa and Blue Locket!

sant to work with and we immediately felt comfortable around her. She captured so many honest candid shots of us that didn't look posed, which we loved. Her photos looked natural, detailed and professional, and we absolutely love them all. We're getting married in our home state of NJ, so we won't have the pleasure of working with her on our wedding day, but if you're looking for a great photographer to capture your wedding (or anything else) I highly recommend Blue Locket Studios!
We used Alyssa for our engagement session and wedding last September, and we loved working with her! She is sweet, professional, and creative. The day of the wedding, she was there...
the whole time, taking pictures in the background without being noticed for most events, while also having many creative photo ideas for portrait sessions. And our photos turned out beautifully! We have so many perfect photos to remember each moment of the day with. She also designed our lovely wedding album, taking into consideration exactly what we wanted. I would definitely use her again for further family events or recommend her to friends getting married in the future.
My husband Mark and I had the pleasure of working with Alyssa for our wedding and engagement shoot. Neither one of us are huge fans of getting our picture taken, so we felt a bit u...
nnatural in front of the camera. At our engagement shoot Alyssa assured us that even though things feel very unnatural, they will look natural on camera. Alyssa helped us out with posing and sure enough, the engagement pictures came out great! On our wedding day, Alyssa and her assistant were right on time and began working with us immediately. She thought of pictures that never even would have crossed my mind, like taking pictures of the little details of our day such as our wedding favors and centerpieces. My favorite photos that Alyssa took were our outdoor pictures in the rain. Somehow she was able to get the lighting absolutely perfect for pictures happening outside where it was pitch black, with city lights in the background, and rain coming down. She had brought a clear umbrella with her and gave it to us to use as a prop in the pictures, and they came out beautiful. I always hear stories of having to wait 6 months to get your wedding photos, but Alyssa gave us access to some of the highlights less than a month after our wedding so we would have some of our photos in time for Christmas. I am so happy we chose Alyssa as our photographer, she is absolutely amazing!!

t and from that moment on, we knew we were in VERY good hands. During the session, she knew exactly which poses we should make, where to go for optimal lighting, etc.. The engagement photos turned out so beautiful (I used them for so many different things including our wedding guest book!). On our wedding day, Alyssa was there for the entire day and made sure to capture every moment. From detail photos, to bridal party, to photos of the ceremony, then formal photos and finally the reception photos, Alyssa didn't miss a beat. She was so poised and genuine and made everyone calm (especially me!) and comfortable throughout the day. In addition to being a great person to work with, Alyssa is extremely gifted. Our photos again turned out so beautiful. We received so many compliments from family and friends! And most importantly, my husband and I loved them. What was most special about Alyssa's work is that she captured so many of the different emotions during our special day. Looking at our photos is like reliving our wedding over and over again. In short, if you are looking for a great photographer with a wonderful personality and an incredible gift for photography, look no further!

ement photos were so beautiful. Alyssa and her assistant were there for the entire wedding day and helped with so many little things as well, like helping me walk around and take off my veil. Alyssa captured so many gorgeous moments that we would have missed and wonderful memories that we can look at forever. She was literally everywhere throughout our wedding. I can't believe she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera or make us look so good. She was also quick with every response throughout the wedding planning process. Alyssa is truly genuine and calming. I look forward to working with Alyssa in the future again.

e wedding. Her assistant Samantha was always prepared with anything any of us might need. Alyssa was with us getting ready, multiple couple's photos locations, the ceremony, cocktail hour, sunset photos, dinner, dancing, and the sparkler exit. She was truly a part of our wedding and worked tirelessly to keep us looking fresh and energized! Alyssa has a very calming personality and helped us stay flexible as the day progressed.
She surprised us with a large number of photos throughout the day edited into a highlight video just a week after the wedding. The rest of our wedding album was spectacular. It was easy to see the beauty of the day and excitement from our guests. We feel that our personal photos truly captured us as a couple.
We'll be excited to see what she comes up with for our wedding album! I am looking forward to working together in the future!
Alyssa was fabulous to work with. She is extremely friendly and calming to be around which I think is very important on such a big day. I was also extremely impressed with how pr...
ompt she always was not only in responding to questions but also in getting my photos to me. I had my engagement photos and wedding photos within about a week and a half while many of my friends had to wait a month or more. For the price she is an absolute steal. Her work is beautiful and she also has a great personal touch.
